happy 2021 and good morning/afternoon!

happy whatever time it is, inu-family, mutuals, etc! gonna work on some icons and watch inuyasha. i hope you’re drinking water since that is apparently my running joke thank you rarity. i find that hilarious because i’m a fire sign? but i think water kinda suits me too since...it flows and is very calm and unflappable! so idk. kagome is a pisces to me finger guns. but as we’re in the new year with all our goals or just recovery, remember that it’s okay to take this at any pace you want. in your writing, in your bonds with us as a group or cross-canon pals we’re making. you know honestly i think things on this blog turned out as they should be and i wanted to thank you all since i never really sent out a 2021 note to you all about how i appreciate you in the new year we’re in!

updates: switch is hopefully getting fixed today, gimme okami and my faves please, thankfully i can afford this so i’ll feel so much better rip! updates: am in genshin hell, will probably do a verse of kagome as a hydro user / traveling priestess with unnaturally strong spiritual power and a side quest of her being ‘blessed’ by an archon. probably the one from inazuma ! why we don’t know, probably her line is blessed or. we just don’t know. but it gives her massive...protection. although her powers are hers whatever happens to the archon. update on fate verse: i think arjuna from fate’s arte moves? are very similar to how i imagine kagome firing her arrows as a caster would be, pure terrifying power honestly! i’m working as fast as i can to catch up for astolfo and kagome bonding. ( please forgive me haneen! you are not forgotten but on high priority! ) update on manga: slower than i’d like! my adhd has been a bit wild, but kagome and kikyo are about to meet and miroku is going to make his entrance and kay and others know that the inutachi is my favorite. though i am a kagome stan first, but what is she without her family? none of them are much without each other!

anyway, if you guys need me you can ask for my discord which you can put in the comments if you want and i’ll im you alright? i live there a lot! or just im me. be it venting, getting to know me, etc.

i appreciate you all so much and i’m happy you’re here with me. to those i’m friends with, me at arrow point: BEFRIEND ME! i cherish our bonding even if i’ve been so slow and i hope you know time with me is not an issue nor is my fondness and care for you any less! thank you for being a wonderful safe place for me and kagome! i’m really rooting for all your 2021 goals to come kick ass!

Hii, do u have any tips for writing fics?? I’m so used to writing research reports, lab reports, and formal essays that creative writing has become something I really struggle with. I guess it’s having the freedom to write anything and not knowing how to make sure it’s not corny. I tried outlining a fic one time but it was so frustrating LOLOLOL. Anyways, I love your ateez fics. They are so cute and creative!!

hi !!!! im like rlly touched u asked me and i feel u actually that's why i started this blog; im a biomedical engineering major so as u can imagine i dont get to take much creativity with what i write because writing papers and reports and proposals are so formulaic and u gotta stick to the facts so that being said i actually tested out of all my college writing classes so all my writing knowledge is from ap english in hs lmao so take it w many grians of salt

the #1 thing i do when im feeling sort of unmotivated about a story or maybe like like dragging myself thru mud to write it is to just write the "fun" part first. to me the fun part is usually the climax or maybe the like the "wouldn't it be cute if..." moment that came to mind that inspired me to write a blurb in the first place! then usually once i sort of get the ball rolling on that my brain will help me out and keep the momentum going by thinking of maybe "oohh okay maybe this can happen next" or "oohh and what if this led up to it" or !! just stop there !! something ive learned from my mx writing blog which is like a year older than this one was that you don't owe anybody context especially for a blurb so maybe it really is just 3 sentences of a cute moment u thought of like its whatever ur the one writing it

now for longer fics im going to be honest jongho's first love is my first and only completed attempt at a multi stage coherent story. and that was fueled purely based on the fact that when i look at jongho he just gives off sort a really excited sort of innocence that i wanted to further explore and personify through the idea of him experiencing love for the first time but even then i really struggled w the last part because that's where my personal experience stopped and i had basically nothing to go off of because ive never been in love so i did have to kinda wait for ideas to come to me. for prince yunho i have posted 4 chapters but have all the way through chapter 15 drafted. and by drafted i mean it's like 3 sentences of the overall idea. again, the fic was inspired by the duality between yunho's on stage vs. off stage persona where if somebody was to watch an ateez performance for the first time they may find him very serious and maybe even intimidating but atiny would know that his off stage persona (the one he choses to create for us anyways) is very silly and happy-go-lucky and approachable, which is why prince yunho is seen as narameth's strong and stoic pride and joy but in reality he's sort of clumsy but means well. so i let that and his relationship w xenia who is an original character (OC) sort inspire stories or interactions that i force into a plot line. so for example i believe when i first started thinking abt a prince au for yunho i thought "wouldn't it be funny if the first scene started out painting him as this strong and serious man and then cut to him choking on food or something" and that sort of inspired the idea of him being nervous abt the speech and then xenia came out of that because he needed a complementary character imo since i knew he was gonna be kind of one dimensional and then his backstory with xenia inspired other ideas and then one day i was sad and wanted a hug so that inspired a piece of the plot line and so on. so basically: let an idea or even an aspect of somebody come to you and just write it down, let it inspire other ideas. and don't be afriad to completely start over. i wrote a whole chapter for prince yunho and deleted the whole thing because i hated where it was going and started back from scratch. sometimes you have to revisit things abt your characters and their relationships with others to get a new idea. there's a story in every person and every relationship you just have to find the clues

here's an example of what i mean by "write the good part first". this is typically what the very first draft of a blurb will look like for me

((( blah blah blah basically its raining and y/n is sad bc wooyoung broke her heart two weeks ago idk maybe go into it maybe not)))

y/n is all sad and feeling sorry for themselves on the couch theyre past crying but still feel pretty shitty plus it's storming and cold outside. great

there's a knock on their door ofc they have the cliche "who could that be moment" even tho they lowkey know. we literally all know

so yeah wooyoung's there soaked in rain eyes puffy y/n thinks he's been crying

-this would be the "fun part". i'll fix all that garbage up top later or maybe even change it completely idk yet-

"y/n? i - uh. hi"

he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck while you crossed your arms over your chest, fighting the urge to close the door and walk away for good

"hi? really wooyoung? is that the best you can do?"

(((wooyoung does smth idk)))

"well i just -"

"you just what? showed up here in the rain after you broke my heart and didn't even bother to tell me why? this isn't some romance movie, asshole. you can't just come here late at night and expect to find me all sad and willing to take you back because i'm not. so say what you're gonna say so i can get back to my life"

your face was red hot and you trying very hard, probably too hard, to fight back tears. ((( idk talk some more abt y/n's emotions then what wooyoung is doing)))

"look, i made a mistake i-"

"oh my god! why did i know you were gonna do this. i just knew as soon as i saw you-"

"will you let me get a fucking word in!?"

well that was new. in the entire time you'd known him he had never raised his voice at you like that, your shock causing you to immediately close your mouth and fold your arms back into yourself (((make y/n seem more scared))) noticing your reaction, he lowered his voice back down and instictively reached for you, heartbroken at the way you jerked away from his touch

"please y/n, i'm sorry. i didn't mean to raise my voice it's just that i need to tell you that i regret what i did i regret breaking up with you so fucking much and you don't have to take me back i just need you to know how much you meant, no, mean to me. i still love you, a lot. there's not a day, an hour, a minute, or a single second that goes by that i'm not thinking of you"

"then why?"

your voice was small and wavering, your tears now dangerously close to spilling down your cheeks

"why what?"

"why did you break up with me like that, just all of a sudden"

he pushed his hands into his pockets and looked away

"because that morning i woke up before you and when i looked at you asleep next to me, i saw myself spending the rest of my life with you and it scared the shit out of me"

"why did it scare you?"

"because i just figured you didn't feel the same. i was selfish and wanted to save myself heartbreak down the line and so i told you i didn't wanna be with you anymore, but that was a mistake because it turns out i can't function with out you, i can't breathe without you i can't live without you, y/n. i shouldn't have let you go"

tears were now freely flowing down your face (((okay brain no work anymore y/n kisses him duh and then ofc they make up wooyoung prob says smth cheesy and y/n is like ur lucky i love you or smth ahaha the end)))

tl;dr -> don't be afraid to get messy. creative writing is not nearly as structured as academic/scientific writing. write whatever u want first it can even be the middle of a huge fight scene or some dialogue u think is funny. if ur stuck read what you have or maybe just take a break and let an idea come to you. a story doesnt have to come together til the very end so it can be as messy and out of order as u want until u wanna post it. also i would always use the third person omniscient point of view for a longer story like a chaptered fic as a default and only change if it would impact the plot in a negative way. this is where the narrator knows what every character is thinking/feeling and im p sure a teacher in middle school told me it was the easiest to write and follow

Living with the Winchesters was always an adventure. Each day was open to something new happening but you wouldn’t trade this life for any others you might have dreamed of in the past. You were dating the hottest and you were best friends with the tallest.

Your life was good and you were happy with how things were going. You just started dating Dean a few months ago even though you’ve been flirting for a lot longer than that. You were friends with both Winchesters a lot longer before you moved in with them.

You met them when you three were on the same case. You were posed as the reporter, trying to dish out whatever you could for the case and Sam and Dean were the very attractive FBI men who took over when they came into town.

But you didn’t let that happen since you got there first so this was your case. One accident later, Sam and Dean were exposed as hunters to you, thanks to your clumsy ass. But everything worked out in the end because with the brothers, you clicked instantly with them.

Of course, Dean hit on you from the very start, not that you minded since you liked him a lot more than his brother (in that way). You were supposed to be Dean’s one night stand but after you had mind blowing sex with him, you started snooping while he was in the shower. You found his father’s journal and you couldn’t help yourself.

You had to read it.

You must have gotten too invested in it because you didn’t even hear Dean get out of the shower until you heard him clear his throat. You tried explaining that you weren’t trying to snoop but you saw this and you couldn’t help yourself.

Before he could say anything, you started talking about all the monsters you came across and he started to accept you into his lives because at that point, he knew you were going anywhere.

A few years later, you moved in the Bunker with them, happier than you ever have been. You had everything you could ever need: a sexy boyfriend, an amazing best friend and a whole library filled with lore books.

Lore was one of your favorite subjects to read, even before you were a hunter. That is why you accepted the hunter’s life so easily after your parents were injured due to a vampire. Luckily no one got turned and they now live happy lives, putting that whole incident behind them.

You, on the other hand, stayed in the life after killing the vampires because you knew what was out there. What you knew back then was nothing compared to what you knew now. You were always learning about new monsters and what was out there.

Which is what you were doing now with Sam.

“I know a lot about Lore but this is one book I haven’t read and judging by its cover, there are new monsters in here both of us might not know of.” Sam said, grabbing the book before sitting next to you in the library.

“That’s awesome. I can’t wait to read it with you.” You said with a smile, sipping your water. You barely got into the book when you heard Dean’s footsteps enter the library.

“Hey, Y/N, want to help me work on my car? The parts I ordered for her came in. Let me save you while I can.” Dean laughed, joking about you reading with Sam.

“Uh, no thank you. Sam and I are just getting into this book. Plus, you know I find working on cars boring. That’s your thing, not mine.” You said, missing the look he gave you. Dean noticed how close you and Sam were sitting, smiling as you both read the same book.

He knew that you were your own person and you had your own likes and dislikes but Dean felt you had a lot more in common with his brother than himself. He liked you a lot and he hasn’t felt things like this about a woman since Lisa left his life so he thought you were pretty special to begin with.

But maybe you were meant to be with Sam and not him.

“Oh, okay, I’ll just be out there, I guess.” Dean said, looking at you.

“Have fun.” You said without looking at him. He sighed and kicked the ground before leaving to his car. He hated feeling this way and this was one of the reasons he didn’t get involved with women like this. They always chose Sam when they wanted a deep relationship.

Dean wasn’t meant for relationships like that.

A few days later, you were in your bedroom, getting some cookbooks you had stored there. Cooking was a hobby you had and now that you had a huge ass kitchen, you were going to use that hobby more often.

“Hey, want to go for a drive? Sam is going to be in the kitchen all day working on his food schedule.” Dean said, knocking on your door. The reason you had your own room was because you liked to have your own space that was just for you. You spent most, if not all nights in Dean’s bed but it was nice to have something of your own.

“Yeah, I know, I’m actually going to help him with that. He seemed to like that I had some cookbooks in here.” You said with a smile, again, missing the look on his face.

“You know, if he is holding you against your will, tell me and I’ll whisk you away.” Dean said, chuckling nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“Dean, don’t be silly. I like doing these things. How about we go for a drive later on?” You asked, kissing his cheek before leaving your room to where Sam was.

Was Dean doing something wrong? Was it his fault you liked Sam more than him?

The next night, Sam was out and you were bored. You tried finding Dean but he wasn’t in his room or the kitchen, the library and the war room were empty too.

“Dean?” You called out, walking around the Bunker looking for the wan you wanted to spend time with. You know you’ve been spending a lot of time with Sam lately and you missed Dean. As you passed the entrance to the garage, you heard clanging come from inside.

You opened the door and walked inside, not seeing anything but hearing the clanging sound again. But now that you were closer to it, it sounded like it was a ball bouncing off the wall or something. You walked around the garage, coming to the Impala.

You walked around to the other side and frowned when you saw Dean sitting on the floor with his back to the car, throwing a ball to the wall, catching it when it bounced back to him. He had a few beers near him as well, one of them being empty.

“Dean? Wat are you doing out here?” You asked, sitting next to him.

“Where is Sam?” He asked, ignoring your question.

“Out. He went to one of those film things that were showing a French film.”

“Why didn’t you go with him?”

“You know I don’t like those kinds of movies,” You said, finally noticing the look he had on his face. You noticed he wasn’t happy. “What’s wrong?”

“Do you want me to be more interested in books? Do you want me to eat healthier? Do you want me to grow out my hair so it can flow in the wind?” Dean asked, making no sense to you at all.

“Dean, sweetie, what are you talking about?” You asked. He set the ball down and turned to you with hurt flashing in his eyes.

“Do you like Sam more than me?” He’d figure the band-aid would be better ripped off.

“What? No, I like you. Why would you think I like Sam more?” You asked, oblivious to your actions throughout the week.

“You’re spending time with him with your book reading and your food scheduling. Do you want me to be more like Sam?” He asked.

“No, Dean. I like you just the way you are. I’m sorry you are feeling this way but I don’t like Sam. I like Dean. A lot. Like, a lot, a lot.” You said, putting your hand on his cheek. He leaned into your touch and you smiled, getting up.

“Where are you going?” He asked, missing your warm touch.

“Come on, I’m going to show you just how much I like you more. I may even love you.” You said with a smile, holding your hand out. He grabbed it and used it to aid him in getting on his feet.

“Wait, love? You love me?” He asked with a small smile.

“I said I may love you. May. We’ll see.” You giggled, walking with him back inside the Bunker.

“Okay, okay, before we go any further, I have a question.” Dean said, stopping you. He got in front of you and look at you with a serious face.

“What is it?”

“I can grow my hair out, right?”

“You’re such a dork.” You smiled, taking his hand and leading him to the bedroom. You loved this man whether you knew it or not and despite Sam being your best friend, Dean was the better man and you were going to spend all night proving that to him.

2019 ❣️

i have no new resolutions for this new year (even a bit late) but who cares? hahaha. i just got my free time after sacrificing on my final exam. it finished already and i was like YAY. whatever happen on the result later, i did my best already, so dont judge (but deep inside, I STILL WANT TO BE DEAN LIST STUDENT AGAIN) 😂 I do not have any specific things to do on 2019 since yeah i’ve received lot of wedding invitations this year plus my own best friend will end her single life this year too, In Shaa Allah. How excited iam but surely im the one who cry a lot that day. 😏 after so many years of friendship and she finally meet her jodoh (like marriage is one of our fav topic before since we still “teenage girl”) but since she’s getting married soon, we try to avoid by talking this topic everytime we met each other. IM STILL NOT READY TO LOSE MY BEST FRIEND. please, note that 🙍 okay, why iam only focusing on marriage topic now? haha. isn’t my attention of this blog btw, hahaha. but yeah really hope that this year gonna be my happiest of the year and really hope that time will passes very fast so i can finish my study like real soon! wanna prepare myself for Umrah trip (In Shaa Allah) hopefully Allah S.W.T make it ease for me. Aamiin. Yet, i just got realized something this morning whereby i should thanks Allah S.W.T for more because of what i’m having right now is really beyond my expectations. it’s like a dream but Alhamdulillah life become more happier than before. I must say. 🙊 oh yea, i was failed on the MPP session this year hahahaha but it’s okay still believe that i can work for something else because by the time of manifesto campaign i’m focusing on my final exam that time, not fair right? i knowwww! 🙋 but i do have one plan for degree student to collaborate with MPP for next semester but of course (talk session) because i want to improve more on my communication skill. yes. Besides, i wanna cari my jodoh. ehhhhhhhh hahahahaha how could i say that huh? when it come to writing, i just type and type yknowww. hahahaha but it is okay, about jodoh, i can put aside first but whoever wanna come into my life with the good intentions...the door is always open of course but still im just going with the flows because i believe something goods will happen to me when im truly ready with the blessings of Allah S.W.T. aww 😇 hey hey, move! well, should be more writings next ya!

When I put that in, it made me feel super, super soft c: I’m a bit like the reader in a sense that sometimes, I feel that overprotective boyfriends and such are kind of lowkey problematic but...sometimes - it makes me feel super smug and happy at the thought? It’s probably an unpopular opinion. I like people being protective over me! lol THE SMELL OF LOVEEEEE IN THE AIR~ *wink* hehe. And actually, I have NO idea how many chapters there will be! I have an outline for the rest of the story but I usually stop around 5,000 words for each chapter. But, due to a few reasons, I couldn’t begin it/post it (which I can’t really talk about lol). But - someone sent in a request asking for a VampKook smut around 18 weeks ago. So - I decided to use that opportunity to turn it into a series with all of my hard work creating lore and history and background to a world inside my head! I’m so happy that you like it :3
