like wrio and reader who everyone agrees are either gonna be a killer team or who are gonna crash and burn in the first round. So ofc the two of you have to prove everybody wrong and absolutely win the whole thing?? That leads to lots of hours spent practicing your teamwork together, about learning how each other's brain ticks, and getting used to treating each other as a teammate rather than as somebody to try and outdo.
And goodness, imagine if all that hard work actually pays off and the two of you win the whole thing— how you'd be bouncing on your heels for joy when you're both declared the winners, how Wriothesley can't keep the grin off of his face. And and and imagine how you jump into his arms, shaking from the adrenalin because !! You won !! You're so excited and you're so happy and you don't even notice when your lips are pressed against his. Your eyes widen, and you nearly pull away, apologies caught in your throat and embarrassment hot on the tips of your ears— but Wriothesley is dragging you back in for another kiss before you go to far, easily making you forget the roaring crowd and the flashing cameras. All you can think about is how this is long, long overdue.

day fourteen ;; rantaro amami
rantaro so enjoyed getting to spoil you during pride- and this time was no different.
he’d scoured all over the place, trying to find the pitch perfect gift for you. until, of course, he found the perfect gift.
the best you could ever ask for.
and as you stood in your living room, your hands covering your mouth, your eyes filled with tears, you gazed at your loving boyfriend.
who was knelt on the ground, on one knee, holding the most gorgeous ring you had ever seen.
it was diamond, and big, but not in a dramatic way. taro never really was one for dramatics.
but the soft and warm smile on his face was breathtaking, and you shifted your gaze back to the ring.
the metal was a beautiful cool-toned silver, and surrounding and circling around the gorgeous diamond where small little silver wires that formed a heart; three individual ones, one a deep royal blue, one a velvety purple, and the other a warm flamingo pink.
it was beautiful, and so so much more than you could’ve possibly asked for.
“oh my gosh-“
before you could finish, he paused, standing up and nearly guiding the ring to your finger, before looking at you with a look that could sweep any lady within a 10 mile radius of their feet.
“darling,” he started, placing a gentle kiss on your left ring finger, “let me make you feel loved, for more than just this month, let me celebrate you for years to come, through every pride month, every holiday, every birthday. let me become the husband you’ve always wanted. will you marry me, and make me the most lucky guy on earth?”
and how on earth could you refuse?
