Watching smallville again finally. (Don't ask why i stopped. I don't know.)

On season 3, episode 1 and clark is just pissing me off 24/7 rn. I know what he went through and all, but idrfc at this point.

Into season 3 of Smallville and I am getting tired of yelling at Clark to let people in. Like I know it's dangerous but these people have proven over and over to be trustworthy. It would solve so many issues 😭

Just started season 3, episode 1 of Smallville and the show writers really like using that red kryptonite!!

They ever gonna lighten up with that!? Honestly, it's kinda getting annoying. Cause, like, it's fun. But at the same time, they're really overdoing it at this point.

While I don't think the Smallville season 3 finale was a strong as season 1 or 2 , I do think it was the funniest one to watch as household given our varying levels of familiarity with both Smallville and Superman in general.

I'm talking specifically, of course, about "Kara" shooting her shot with Clark.

smallville was such a funny show on a meta level to me personally. it is possibly one of the reasons birthright, one of the most widely recommended superman stories, was written, or at the very least, it did have influence on it (along with silver/bronze age superboy comics). due to logistical constraints the city of metropolis is situated in kansas, within driving distance from smallville itself. every actor you can think of and then some were in it. amy adams was in it ages before she was ever picked to play lois. they had high school musical ryan as kon for a couple of episodes. fucking. princess diaries 2 andrew jacoby was there as GENERAL ZOD. tell me that doesn't sound unhinged! he was terrific zod too!! this show started the superhero tv trend of actors who previously played a character returning as one of the older generation: teri hatcher played lois's mom, and helen slater who played kara in the 1984 supergirl movie was cast as lara el (clark's biological mother). the amount of offenses to superman canon this show did is unbelievable, mxyzptlk was just. a guy. a regular guy with powers. who was from eastern europe. named mikhail. who signed off on that???? literally Everyone was an established hero before superman except for batman and that's HILARIOUS. they really tried to pull off clark and lana for most of the show like it was written by chuck austen and then dropped it within one season and a couple of episodes. if someone yells "somebody" at me I'm not continuing with all stars I'm singing "SAAAAAVE MEEEE" because that theme song is ingrained in my memory even years after watching all 10 seasons. what an incredible show i will never watch it again
