I was tagged by @icouldhyperfixatehim in probably Feb/Mar but I literally just had not watched enough bl/gls to actually do this. Then got tagged again by @talays-portkey recently (it is no longer recently, this has been in my drafts, 98% done for a month??) and was like ohhh I can probably do this now!
your all time favourite bl character and why
I'm gonna say Pat and Pran both bc bb is SO dear to my heart and I feel like they are a good representation of "opposites attract" bc they handle things/think differently a lot but are so similar it works.
what's your one character from a bl you wanted to punt into the stratosphere ( you only get one so choose wisely )
Honestly none? If there has been any show where I've really disliked the leads then I've probably given up watching, as for side characters I'm willing to forgive a lot in fiction that I probably wouldn't IRL. Also shitty people give the story more drama and I do live for the drama. One thing that I do find bizarre and I struggle with are characters who ship other characters in the show and will tell them, or post about them on social media... it's just something I would feel weird about if it happened to me (and I can't imagine that happening realistically as someone who grew up in Ireland in the 2000's.)
the best music moment from a bl
Ok ok, living for bb and the rooftop kiss but the very specific moment when Pat is telling Pran all the things he liked when Pran was gone (I didn't need to compete, or be paranoid, or know what your GPA was etc) and Pran is clearly upset about it and then he says "but it was so depressingly lonely for me" and Pran looks back at him and it's the moment where everything starts to change and just as Pran looks back into Pat's eyes with hope for the first time there's a little 4 note drum roll (@10:14) and it just perfectly encapsulates that feeling of anticipation when your heart skips a beat, I just [muffled screams into a pillow]. Also the Not Me industrial sounding background music. It was so different for a bl but works perfectly with the aesthetic and the feeling of the show. Same with Heartstopper, great soundtrack, perfect vibes for the show. Also the intro song for The Eclipse, I really love it too!
what's a popular heterosexual text that you would like to see adapted into a bl / gl ?
Looove a cheesy romcom so maybe a GL 10 Things I Hate About You, or maybe one day my dream of seeing A Cinderella Story with Austin Ames realising she's a trans girl will come true!!! Or the lesbian 13 Going On 30 where she goes to the future to realise she's in love with her best friend (a girl, sorry Mark Ruffalo) and realises she's gay and maybe that's why people picked on her at 13 bc they all knew she was ✨️different✨️ and she goes back and is like "i know being gay is scary rn but it actually does get better and I've seen it!!". Coyote Ugly!! The Prince and Me!!!! Gimme lesbian romcoms I beg!!! Most of these gave off wlw vibes anyway, making them gay now would just be righting the world.

what two random bl/gl characters would make hilarious exes ?
Not hilarious but Namu from Not Me and Ink from Bad Buddy. They meet when Ink is taking scenery photos and sees Namu's graffiti and they get to talking and they have similar ideas and ideologies, Namu starts bringing Ink to protests and Ink brings her to some exhibitions etc etc they stay friends after bc wlw.. and then in the future the BB gang inkpa&patpran all start attending protests together. (Didn't P'Aof say patpran would definitely be joining those protests if they were in the same show? Like it all makes so much sense)
biggest disappointment ?
The way Not Me just sort of fell off in terms of storyline in the second half. Its only a disappointment bc those first episodes were incredible and the show deserved better.
who would be the funniest person to watch a bl in its entirety and which one would you make them watch .
Tankhun, and seeing as we've seen his reactions to steamy scenes and action or horror shows I feel like we should watch Manner of Death? I haven't seen it yet but I've heard it's steamy and mafia based so he could pick apart the mafia stuff and go wild at the smut.

A/N: Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to tell me how much they are enjoying this story! You have no idea how much I appreciate it, and how much it helps me to keep writing!
I know it seems like things are progressing quickly however since SPRQS is meant to be a dating app (making this different from the You’ve Got Mail setup) it makes sense that they would want to actually go on a date with one another sooner rather than later. And these two adorable idiots are trying to find "move on" from their feelings for the other, so they are eager for a distraction!

Max had just got into his car after leaving Zoey’s apartment when he got the message from Red.
"How do you feel about meeting in person?"
He swallowed nervously as he stared at the message. How did he feel about meeting Red in person? His thoughts drifted to the woman upstairs, the woman he had been in love with for the better part of the past six months. She hadn’t given any indication that she felt anything for him more than friendship.
He liked Red, or at least what he’d gotten to know about her in the few days they had been speaking. She at least seemed to be interested in more than friendship with him. He drummed his fingers against the steering wheel thinking.
“You pick a place and time and I’ll be there.”

Zoey’s heart skipped a beat as she read his response, he wanted to meet! She smiled and jumped up and down in excitement, barely keeping her shriek of joy contained.
“Oh God…. he accepted!” she gasped. “Mo!” Zoey ran across the hall and into Mo’s apartment.
Mo looked out from the kitchen at Zoey’s panicked face and put the kettle on. “What happened with Max-a-licious? Please, tell me you kissed him!
“What? No... he’s my best friend...why would I….no, this has nothing to do with Max!” Zoey sputtered.
“Well, if it isn’t about him, then what has you over here in such a state?”
“I asked if Billy wanted to meet in person, and he said yes!”
“You mean your piano man? Ooo, that must have been some song he sent you!” Mo grinned, as he poured them tea. “Well, if you asked him then why do you look so terrified?”
“I’m nervous! What if he hates me?!” Zoey wailed, dropping her head onto the table.
Mo shook his head, “Isn’t that what this whole messaging one another is about? You’ve been talking for a few days and there’s enough of a connection between you that made you ask to meet him. And since he agreed, I can only assume he feels that same connection. So, you have nothing to worry about!”
Zoey lifted her head slightly, “You think so?”
“Well, apart from where you are going to meet and when.”
Zoey worried her lip, “The Golden Grind could work, nothing too serious, just coffee.
Mo nodded, “Comfortable and neutral territory is good. You could arrange it for Friday after work, that way if things go well you can continue on to dinner, and if they don’t then it doesn’t ruin your evening.”
Zoey nodded, following Mo's logic. "I'd have to get ready at work."
"I'll pop by and help you. Besides you promised I could go with you when you met him," Mo's tone brooked no argument.
"Oh God, I'm going to have to tell Joan," Zoey groaned, putting her head back on the table.
Mo laughed, "This is going to be so much fun!"

"How does this Friday at 5 PM sound? There's a cafe I know called The Golden Grind that we could meet at."
Zoey took a deep breath as she sent the message. She was nervous, talking with Mo had helped but she still was anxious about what he might think of wanting to meet this quickly.
"I love that cafe! So, it's a date?"
Her stomach fluttered as she read the word date, it was a date, a real honest to goodness date.
"It's a date! I'm looking forward to it!"
"I'll be the one waiting with the Code Red Mountain Dew, just for you ;)"
Zoey groaned in embarrassment; she had really hoped that he would forget about that ridiculous lie she had told.
"Already trying to score points before the date?"
"Only if it's working."
Despite how ridiculous it was Zoey couldn't help but be charmed by him.
"Oh, it is ;)"
She was nervous, but she found herself looking forward to their meeting. Now, she just had to tell one other person. Squaring her shoulders, she headed into Joan's office and shut the door.
Joan looked up at her expectantly.
"So, I may have already arranged to meet someone from SPRQS...and you said you would go with me to make sure I didn't get murdered…."
Joan lowered her glasses and stared at her. "You certainly moved faster than I expected."
Zoey flushed, "I just decided that now is the time to take chances and get out there."
Joan grinned, closing her laptop. "So, tell me all about this mystery man."
Zoey smiled and sat down, filling Joan in on what she and Billy had talked about.
"You have nicknames for each other?" Joan raised her eyebrows.
"Well, I had to do something with that terrible username you came up with," Zoey defended herself.
Joan chuckled, "Only you could come up with a cover story so ridiculous."
"So, will you come? My friend Mo is coming by to help me get ready, and he made me promise I'd bring him along." Zoey asked.
"Of course, I'm coming! I want to see who this mystery man that has pulled you out of your shell is!" Joan exclaimed.
"Okay, so it's Friday at 5 PM."
"Gotcha."
Zoey reached the door when Joan's voice stopped her.
"I'm proud of you for taking a chance, Zoey."
Zoey smiled at her and nodded, "Me too."
The morning crept along at an almost glacial pace. Zoey found herself contemplating yet another trip to the cheese bar, just so she had something to do. Thankfully, her train of thought was interrupted by a message from Billy.
"Soooo…. apparently, you aren't the only one getting weird pick-up-lines from strangers."
Zoey covered her mouth to keep a giggle from escaping.
"I showed you mine, you show me yours…"
She heard Max inhale sharply and shot him a concerned glance. He waved it off as nothing, focusing on his computer screen.
"Well, no points for originality, but that was definitely one of the ones they used."
Zoey turned bright red, what was it about this man that made her brain take complete leave of its senses.
".... I’m just going to go die of embarrassment, k thanks bye!"
Zoey groaned and dropped her head onto her desk.
"Everything okay, Zo?" Max called out, concerned.
She gave him a thumbs up and continued to sit there in embarrassment.
"Ooookay…" Max said skeptically.
"I think it's adorable, and I don’t mind it when you use that line on me ;)"
Zoey found herself blushing for a different reason now.

Max couldn't help his train of thought as he saw Red's response.
"I showed you mine, you show me yours…"
His breath caught as he read her words, his train of thought suddenly derailed by her innuendo. What was this woman doing to him?!
He waved off Zoey’s concern, mildly embarrassed at her having heard him.
"Well, no points for originality, but that was definitely one of the ones they used."
Max turned as he heard a groan and thump from Zoey’s desk. She had her head on her desk, with her arms hanging defeatedly at her sides.
"Everything okay, Zo?” he asked, mildly concerned at her behavior. She sent a thumbs up in his direction and he shook his head.
"Ooookay…" he shook his head at her. Zoey had been acting weirder than usual lately. He needed to check with her later and make sure everything was actually as okay as she said it was.
".... I’m just going to go die of embarrassment, k thanks bye!"
He chuckled at how easily flustered she was.
"I think it's adorable, and I don’t mind it when you use that line on me ;)"

Zoey had hoped things would pick up after lunch, but it seemed that work was doomed to be mind-numbingly slow today.
Tobin had suggested that they create a problem within the SPRQ Watch code just so they would have something to do. Thankfully before he could act on that suggestion, he fell asleep at his desk.
Zoey and Max were currently engaging in a game to see how many post-it notes they could stick on Tobin before he wakes up.
Zoey was currently in the lead with twenty-five neon green ones decorating the left side of his body.
Max walked by and quickly placed a hot pink post-it directly on top of Tobin's head. He backed away slowly as Tobin started to shift in his sleep, before he stilled once again. Max pumped his fist in celebration, doing a quiet victory dance.
"All tied up," he whispered to Zoey as he returned to her desk.
Zoey grinned, slowly creeping over to place her next one on Tobin's right hand.
Tobin's eyes fluttered open just as she began to back away.
"Wazzat?" he mumbled.
Max quickly slipped back to his own desk, just as Zoey returned to hers. Both of them attempting to hide their laughter as Tobin finally woke up.
"Oh, come on, guys!" Tobin said, looking down at his post-it note covered body. He shook his head at them, "I can't believe you guys would do this without me! Don't you know that Leif is the better choice? You can fit way more on him cause he's taller, and he sleeps like a rock!"
Zoey laughed, "Leif didn't fall asleep at his desk."
"That would be impressive though since it's a standing desk," Max grinned.
"So who won?"
"Well since you woke up as I put my last one on you, we tied at twenty-five apiece.”
Max grinned as he rolled his chair next to Zoey’s and they high-fived one another.
Tobin shook his head at them, “Not bad all things considered.”
Joan poked her head out of the office to check on them and glanced at Tobin. "I don't even want to know," she mumbled before retreating and closing her door.
Zoey and Max caught one another's eyes and burst into laughter.

Celebration 2019 VIP Day 3
Opening Session
Spirited start to the day! Fams started a party line around the soundstage to Let’s Work.
JD Steele also led us in a sing along of Raspberry Beret

Earth Wind and Fire’s studio the Complex was the inspiration for Paisley Park. They filmed pickups for Purple Rain there and Prince told Cavallo “I want want one of these”
WB didn’t know much about Purple Rain until it was almost done. It was financially backed by Prince and Cavallo ( Cavallo said he only contributed about 20%...the rest was Prince’s money or advances on his royalties)
Cavallo’s management agreement was about to run out. He told Steve Fargnoli to try to get a Prince to sign a contract for 5 more years. Prince said “I’ll sign one if you get me a movie and not about some drug dealer and jeweler...and I want my name above the title.
They had trouble getting people on board to write the movie William (Bill) Glenn (of Brian’s Song) wrote the first version but it was “not edgy enough...too TV”
No director would sign with them
Watched a movie called Reckless. There was a kid sitting behind him who asked what he thought. Cavallo said it was okay...the kid said “Well I edited it.”
Cavallo had dinner with Albert Magnoli the writer of that movie to see if he’d sign on for Purple Rain. He initially passed. Cavallo “You passed? You don’t have a pot to piss in and you pass? I’d pay you 75k and you’re passing.” Magnoli thought it was too square. Cavallo “Then rewrite it”
“Mo Austin didn’t have anything to do with Purple Rain”
“He made that movie Paul Simon made. That was a failure.”
WB passed on producing the movie, Guber Peters also passed, as well as others
Richard Pryor’s company Indigo Films did NOT pass! Jim Brown (the football player) was CEO at the time. Both Richard and Jim were thrilled to do it! However Jim got mad that Cavallo hired a cinematographer without checking with him as he wanted to hire Black staff to support the project. Bob said he didn’t have time to wait to find some so Indigo dropped the project.
They had a completion bond gaurantor for the film and ended up being 3-4 weeks behind at one point. To catch up, they got more cameras and filmed the movie at multiple angles vs doing several takes. This caught them up.
Promo department thought When Doves Cry was a flop. They wanted Let’s Go Crazy to be the lead single.
Cavallo managed Earth Wind & Fire. (Other info about Cavallo opening a night club his senior year of college which was very successful. Bill Cosby opened for acts when he was coming up on the scene. “He met his wife there and I guess he did other things...” *groan from the audience
On how Cavallo and Prince first linked up Prince had gone to an EWF show and said “When I saw that show, it scared me. I don’t know if I can do something that good.” Asked to meet their manager. Cavallo went to see his show...where he was wearing a Trench coat, panty hose, and g-string. He said “Well young man...show was great....but I don’t think it’s alright to go out on stage in your underwear.”
Prince : Okay I’ll take them off.
He said there was maybe 20 people at that particular show
Purple Rain was made with 7.6 million dollars
They had to fight to get it into theaters to show it. “It was the race thing”
Even WB wasn’t on board at first as a distributor. Cavallo was trying to rally them “If you’re a young Black person age 11-30 and you see Prince headlining his own movie, you’ll go see it opening night.”
At first they could only get a couple of theaters...and were told they couldn’t do it in the south because they were worried about race riots.
Cavallo went to the Chairman of WB with his case and he was on board “Get me 800 theaters or I’ll get someone who will”. (These days movies open in about 2k theaters in the US)
Prince got 15% gross cash guarantee for 3 films
The Purple Rain sequel pitch Cavallo had for Prince was Purple Rain 2 : Further Adventures of The Time. The Time went to Vegas and got in trouble with the mob and cops. Only showgirls liked them. Prince wasn’t in it except for a cameo to give advice.
He also tried to get P to get Madonna to star in Under The Cherry Moon
Prince wrote Under the Cherry Moon even though there’s another name on it.
Cavallo wasn’t a fan of Kristin Scott Thomas as the star. He gave Prince a tape of the options for actresses and put her last.
Prince : “I see why you put her last in the group of girls you figured she would outshine the others!”
Cavallo went on to manage the Disney music catalog among other numerous things.
“The greatest joy I had in the music business was with Prince”
A memory : Prince calls “When are you gonna stop beating that dead horse?”
Cavallo : “What dead horse”
Prince : Earth Wind and Fire
Cavallo scolds him for saying such things
Prince : If you knew how good I was, you’d be meet me in Minneapolis
Cavallo thought about how cold it was there and sent Fargnoli instead

This was my favorite concert of all of them truly! They added nice touches like playing associated videos behind them or displaying the album art of the albums they were playing from. Their show is always a cross catalog musicology lesson of P’s discog and I appreciate that so much!
Also briefly talked to some reps from Sony again this day. I will say from our conversation I do trust that team with P’s music. They were not suits, they were FANS. Talked deep cuts and Prince nerd geekery with them. Really appreciate that the people trying to do things there are fams as much as we all are, truly. (No seriously I was like don’t look too close at my social media please and we laughed about it). Very excited about stuff that’s on the way! (Different department than the purple wax stuff so don’t ask, lol...)
Probably my favorite day of the 3 guys wow.

Canada doesn’t have a remake :( Skam austin is in english and has a similar culture to canada but I don’t really like it, most parts are too cringy

001. Addey hype mumbo jumbo singing along with Moana before she was really talking.
002. Being asked to say the big thank you at SOE graduation.
003. Isaac’s face when he peeked at Omar’s new shoes at the East Towne Starbucks.
004. Drinking Mike’s honey moonshine while we played Euchre in his starry cicada humming backyard.
005. Taking Mama on the water taxi rides when she visited me in Chicago.
006. Grandma Kathy calling me, “My pink haired granddaughter.”
007. Sneaking into camp with the Hines girls to write up collaboration glass bottle poems in the Prayer Chapel.

Morning food for thought: 5 trending March topics to jumpstart your day
Raise your hand if you’re the kind of person who is hardly able to see colors in the morning before you have a cup of coffee.
We thought so.
We know mornings can be rough, which is why we’re providing a little pick-me-up in the form of re-caps of some of the most viral, heartwarming and just plain hilarious internet hits of every month plus a video detailing a few morning hacks to boost your a.m. routine.
Below are a few tidbits of content from March to make your morning that much better.
“BBC dad”s on-air blooper inspires laughs (and parodies)
The internet collectively lost its mind over this video clip of a man’s two kids adorably video-bombing his on-air appearance. In the midst of a (very serious) interview on the topic of the impeachment of South Korean President Park Geun-hye, the interviewee’s two kids come comically marching in the room followed shortly by a distressed woman who quickly removes the children (but not without a bit of a struggle). BBC dad handles the interruption like a champ, somehow managing to keep a (mostly) straight face throughout the whole thing.
The video inspired its fair share of memes and parodies that have gone almost equally as viral as the original clip.
News flash: March was cold.
Year after year, the internet occupies itself with its favorite pastime: Complaining about the weather. In the face of an exceptionally warm winter, this year has resulted in fewer Snowmageddon and “polar vortex” hashtags but when the Northeast finally saw some snow this month, the internet didn’t disappoint.
This slow-mo video, for example, of Amtrak passengers getting absolutely demolished by a shower of slush as a train passes, had us in stitches.
And in New York, this tweet of a Lake Ontario home blanketed in sheets of ice gave us the epic “winter is coming” photo we’d so been craving.

In what might possibly be the freakiest music video mash-up of the past decade, this rendition of Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” is … well, frankly, there really are no words to describe it. You just have to watch it for yourself.
The video, a perfectly cut masterpiece by YouTuber Robert Jones, is weirdly spellbinding. The internet thought so too: The video currently sits at more than 360,000 views.

This year’s South by Southwest festival brought the latest tech innovations, concept cars, artists, television hits, films and more to our newsfeeds. From ’90s nostalgia (Hanson reunion!) to lavish tech-meets-fashion unveils (Google’s connected Levi’s jacket) to totally freaky trailers (the debut teaser for the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s It), this year’s festival lived up to its reputation and to the beloved host city’s main mantra: Keep Austin weird.
Upcoming: More March Madness upsets
Basketball fans are never so simultaneously thrilled and upset as they are during the month of March. If the March Madness brackets that have dominated our lives this past few weeks are any indication of what’s to come, there are even more upsets in store for the tail end of the popular NCAA tournament.
This year’s bracket-busting competition has included shockers like the victory of Wisconsin over number-one-seeded Villanova in the tournament’s second round and South Carolina’s upset victory over Duke. Sports analysts everywhere are eyeing the ACC, which has some explaining to do for this year’s lackluster performance. Only time will tell which team will emerge victorious but don’t ask us to stop the speculations around the watercooler. That’s at least half the fun.

Zoey grinned as she led a blindfolded Max into the backyard.
“Zo, what is this?” Max asked, confused.
“You’ll see,” she teased.
“Kind of hard to do with a blindfold on,” he chuckled.
Zoey stuck her tongue out at him, forgetting that he couldn’t see her.
They came to a stop. “Okay you can look now!”
Max pulled the blindfold off.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!” Everyone yelled.
He looked around the backyard in shock. Zoey and her family were there, Mo was over towards the back with his DJ setup. Even Leif, Joan and Tobin were there.
“Wha? What is this?” he looked at Zoey confused.
Zoey couldn’t keep the grin off her face. “It’s your birthday party, silly! I know we usually do a low-key party with just us, but I thought we might try something different this year.”
Max was speechless, she had put all this together for him!
Zoey bit her lip nervously, “I mean if that’s okay with you….cause if not I can send everyone home...and then we can….”
Max pulled her into a hug stopping her babbling. “Zoey, this is amazing. No one has ever done anything like this for me before.”
Zoey smiled, “Happy Birthday, Max.”
Max kissed her forehead and grinned, waving at everyone around them.
“Okay, it’s time somebody got this party started!” Mo announced from his booth. “Happy Birthday, Max. his one’s for you!” Mo winked his way and began playing “Sucker.”
Max looked at Zoey confused, she was bright red and making the “cut” signal at Mo who pretended not to see her.
“Why is this song for me?” Max asked Zoey.
“Is it warm, or is it just you...I mean me?” Zoey blurted out fanning herself with her hands.
Max looked at her concerned, “Let’s get you a drink.” He steered her towards the coolers and grabbed a water for her.
She took a large drink and sighing in relief.
“You good?” Max asked.
Zoey let out an awkward laugh, “Yeah, yeah totally.”
Max looked like he wasn’t convinced, but before he could press her further Maggie, David and Emily came over to join them.
“Happy Birthday, sweetie,” Maggie said, giving him a hug.
“Thanks Maggie. This is amazing!”
“Well it’s all thanks to Zoey,” David said slapping him on the back. “She did all the arranging and planning, we just had to show up.”
Max looked at Zoey as she blushed, “Mom helped with the decorations,” she mumbled.
Emily gave him a one armed hug, holding Peter on her hip.
“Can you tell Max Happy Birthday?” she asked Peter.
He looked at Max with wide eyes and smiled.
Max smiled back, “A smile for me? Best birthday present ever buddy!” He leaned over and gave Peter a kiss on the head.
David bumped Zoey’s shoulder and raised his eyebrows at her.
“Shut up,” she said through clenched teeth.
Emily grabbed David’s arm, “Come on hon, I think Peter needs to be changed.”
“I just changed him a few minutes…” David started to say when he caught Emily’s significant look. “Right new diaper, sure, whatever you say.”
Maggie shook her head as she watched them walk towards the house.
“Well come on birthday boy, let's get you something to eat!” Zoey said. The three of them headed towards the buffet table that was set up.
Tobin was already there loading up his plate. “Hey bro, happy birthday!” he greeted Max.
Max grinned, “Thanks man, glad you’re here.”
“And miss this food? You must be joking.” Tobin teased.
Maggie raised her eyebrows at his plate, “Are you really going to be able to eat all of that?” she asked, morbid curiosity getting the better of her.
“What, all this?” Tobin gestured to his plate. “This is nothing.”
Maggie looked at Zoey and Max who nodded their heads in agreement. “By Tobin standards that’s a fairly small portion.”
“Come on I’ll show you the good stuff,” Tobin took Maggie’s arm and guided her down the table.
Max and Zoey grabbed their plates and went to find a table to sit at.
"I can't believe you did all of this for me," Max said looking at her in awe.
"Are you kidding of course I did! You're my best friend, and you are amazing and wonderful and deserve all the good things!" Zoey exclaimed.
Max grinned at her. "Well this is definitely the best surprise birthday party I've ever had."
Zoey rolled her eyes "It's the only one you've ever had."
"And it will always be the best because you did it for me," he said sincerely.
Zoey blushed. "Max there's something I want to talk to you about," she started.
"Sure Zo, you can talk to me about anything," he looked at her earnestly.
Zoey fiddled with the paper napkin in her hands. "So you see….the thing is...lately I've been thinking…"
"Okay everyone! Let's get the birthday boy on the floor to start some dancing!" Mo interrupted.
Zoey let out a huff of annoyance.
"What do you say Zoey? Dance with me?" Max asked, holding out his hand.
Zoey smiled, and placed her hand in his as he led her to the dance floor.
They spent hours dancing, chatting with everyone and having a great time.
Zoey carried out his birthday cake, the candles giving her face a soft glow.
Everyone loudly and obnoxiously sang "Happy Birthday," to his chagrin.
"Go on Max, make a wish," Zoey said, holding the cake for him to blow out the candles.
He looked at her smiling, and he knew exactly what he would wish for. He took a deep breath and blew out the candles.
As evening fell, the party began to wind down and their guests began to take their leave.
Soon only Mo, Zoey and Max were the only ones left.
Mo looked at Zoey and gesturing with his head towards Max.
Zoey smiled and nodded.
"One more dance birthday boy?" Zoey asked.
Max grinned tiredly, "With you, of course."
Zoey wrapped her arms around Max's neck and began to sway side to side with him.
Mo cued the music. It wasn't a song one would normally slow dance to, but Zoey and Max stood there on the floor alone slowly dancing with one another.

"I'm just happy," she replied, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"You are?" Max said.
She nodded. "I am, because I finally realized something."
"And what's that?"
"How much I love you," she replied.
Max stopped dancing and stared at her.
"You what?" He whispered.
"I lo…" Zoey was cut off as his lips descended on hers. She smiled as she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck pulling him closer to her. His lips moved softly against hers, savoring the feeling and taste of her. She moaned against his mouth allowing his tongue access.
Max felt a chair bump against his legs. He didn't even stop to think how a chair had gotten onto the dance floor. Not breaking the kiss he sat, pulling her with him down onto his lap.
They broke apart breathing heavily. Neither noticing Mo walking away from them with a grin on his face.
Zoey smiled at him, running her hand through his hair as she looked at the man she loved.
"Tell me again," he whispered, staring at her as though she was the answer to everything in the universe
Zoey giggled, "I love you, Max."
Max let out a shuddering breath, "God, I love you so much Zoey."
She grinned giving him a soft peck on the lips. "So best birthday ever?"
Max chuckled, "Far and beyond." He grinned at her, "Do you know what I wished for when I blew out the candles?"
Zoey shook her head.
"This," he said, pulling her into another kiss.
