Note
Hey, have there ever been any orange alts for K. Howard? I tried searching the blog, but it's a struggle on mobile lol
Several actors have gone on for Howard in an orange alt costume, but none have had a Howard variation.
Tumblr media
L-R: Courtney Stapleton (courtneyjstapes), Hana Stewart (colletteguitart), Harriet Watson (harrietwatson92), Chiara Assetta (chiara_assetta)
Thank you for searching too - tumblr search does suck and I’ve been trying to figure out ways around that 😅 but difficult to do much to fix it

something always goes wrong around an opening night of a new six production. don’t believe me? i offer you this:
west end 1.0: had about 21 changes to the megasix for the first few shows.
west end 2.0 reopening: hana did a surprise seymour show on the evening performance.
west end 2.0 rereopening: lexi disappears after only a few shows.
west end 3.0: everyone bullies the cast because they were nervous, no alt costumes unexpectedly.
uk tour opening: natalie paris appears for a televised performance with the cast.
uk tour reopening: maddison gets ill, jen covers for Boleyn.
3rd uk tour: gets delayed two days due to COVID cases in the company. aiesha disappears after a few shows.
4th uk tour: two days after, they bring natalie back to cover cleves and ellie to debut cleves early the next day.
broadway 1.0: never even happened, theatres closed hours before it.
broadway 2.0: technical difficulties, causing a show stop.
aragon tour: olivia gets COVID, keirsten flies out to cover for her.
bliss 1.0: technically a dress rehearsal, but hazel loses her voice and bryony does all the vocals from backstage while hazel is visible onstage.
bliss 2.0: shut down literally a day after it opened, no videos due to costumes.
bliss 3.0: gets shut down a few months after due to covid reasons.
bliss 4.0: almost has willow debut aragon due to gabbi’s costume not being ready.
breakaway 1.0: a storm occurs, cancelling a few shows.
breakaway 2.0: no photos or video for months due to costume reasons.
breakaway 3.0: actually normal.
australia 1.0: literally opened in the middle of a wildfire.
australia 2.0: cancelled a show after opening night due to COVID reasons.
getaway: never even happened due to COVID happening a month before opening.

Happy Asian and Pacific Islander Month to our queens!
Here in the US, May is Asian-American and Pacific Islander month. So just like last year, I'll be highlighting the Asian and Pacific Islander queens of Six. This year is especially fun as there's currently an Asian or Pacific Islander queen in every currently-running replica production of Six!

That post provides further information. - I usually don't include actors who haven't debuted. That means that Kimberley Hodgson and Deirdre Khoo (both of the recently-announced Australian Tour) and Fia Houston-Hamilton (cancelled Breakaway 2.0) are not included.

Things I want to see in Six in 2024
This is a part-prediction, part-bingo, part-want, part-far-fetched-ideas-to-see-if-they-magically-become-true list of things I have in mind for Six in 2024. Please reblog and add your own let's be chaotic together. Enjoy:
UK Tour ends or gets a revamp
A more permanent crossover between Canada and the US productions (i.e. universal alts somehow cover in Canada officially)
Courtney Mack returns (bonus points if she debuts a 4th role)
Another cruise member debuts in a land production
A cancelled debut finally happens (i.e. Carly Mercedes Dyer, Shantel Cribbs, original Breakaway 2.0)
A change in the North American alternate system
Someone joins a production with little-to-no announcement
A new or majorly updated costume
Principal-to-alternate pipeline but on land
New US sit-down production (bonus points if it's Los Angeles) ((extra bonus points if it's majority professional debuts/recent grads cast)
Something with Natalie Pilkington or the Harriets
An original WE or BW cast member returns
New weird production (i.e. Amusement park production)
Another Bliss Seymour comes to land (after Caitlin, Gabriella, and now Wesley)
Bizzare emergency cover
Entirely new cast for UK Tour, Boleyn Tour, or Broadway
Canada extends and gets a cast change
All alternate show on Broadway
Someone from the last cruise casts goes straight into a land production

Two Losers Update
I don't even want to post about these two, but apparently Harry is attending the coronation alone and leaving right away and Meghan is going to stay in LA. She signed up with WME and they are doing a little "we totally are big Hollywood players" pr drive with a dinner at a private club, a Lakers suite, and hints about upcoming projects (fake awards!, rom coms! African HGTV! Tig 2.0!, Archetypes 2.0!, talk show!, etc...). It's all smoke and mirrors with these two. Archie is apparently having a secret celebrity birthday party...just like all his other secret celebrity birthday parties.
None of those projects will materialize. The only marketable narrative they have is the family drama and that isn't really working for them anymore, as the letter drama illustrated. )Of course they leaked it. Why would anyone else leak it?)
This Page Six leak read like extracts from a publicist's memo. "They had to make a decision that was genuine and authentic." "The words that Harry and Meghan have said about the importance of their family are lining up their actions." "For all the people who say they want to be half in and half out of the royal family, this proves just the opposite."
That last quote made me laugh, because they are literally trying to half-in (Harry's going) and half-out (Meghan's not). But the article does get to the heart of their problem--they are seen as fake and as long as they keep leaning into fake family drama (*cough*leaking letters*cough*) they will be seen as fake.
But, of course, they can't help themselves. Even a court case can be turned into family drama, if you're as obsessed as these two are.
That lasted for a hot minute and then everyone forgot about it. And now poor Omid is also desperately trying to create some drama and it's just not getting any traction.
And that's an "ask not for whom the bell tolls" for the Sussex brand. They've spent the last five or so years feeding off the family drama and have built nothing of substance. Now that the drama is fading, it's time to take stock. That's why Meghan is now looking to build her "rich mom" brand. If I were building a "rich mom energy" brand, I'd iron my clothes and show up at the coronation, but maybe that's just me.
When they left I argued that they should go for a lifestyle brand. I think I wrote an entire business plan for them with a new blog and Instagram, some Tik Tok videos, and lots of brand partnerships. I argued Meghan could guest host The View and then go on to have her own show with some political word salad and guest stars.
However, I don't think that's an option for them anymore. They are now too closely associated with royal family drama. That's their brand now, whether they like it or not.
I guess skipping the coronation is an attempt to move on from that, but I don't think it will work.
I did love the return of the diaper shorts. Hopefully Meghan will now return to the "California street style" (diaper shorts, ripped jeans, and tinfoil minidresses) she favored before her sudden 2017 Princess Makeover and we'll stop hearing nonsense about how Kate is copying her. An "un-Princess Makeover" so to speak.
I think that's what they are aiming for with the relaunch of The Tig (who starts a lifestyle site nowadays???). It's less about the business angle and more about "re-winding" her brand. The problem, of course, is that Meghan's pre-royal brand was bland and unsuccessful. Not sure how they are going to deal with that. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Drew Barrymore are all doing the "California Hollywood Player" lifestyle with more personality, talent and pedigree than Meghan. It's a crowded field. The only thing that sets Meghan apart is the "Duchess" title and that title is both incongruous and hypocritical.
Can't wait to see what WME does with this mess.
Moving on, I did love the "Moment Harry Went Woke" anecdotes. Apparently, the article has been taken down, lol. The granola story was fantastic. That could be part of Meghan's new brand, "the granola that turned the prince woke."

This was the most detailed prediction from Plant that I could find on how a divorce would play out:
I expect very quiet negotiations and then a surprise announcement that unleashes a ton of rumors. The first step will be that she gets a house and moves there with Doria. Then we get some pap shots of them without Harry. Then people start wondering where Harry is. Maybe there’s a sighting in the UK. Then, boom, she announces the divorce and the new projects she’s working on. Probably her old IG is reactivated.
She should wait until next year, but the Diana-clone anon is likely right and she’ll do it in November to overshadow the royal holiday season and take advantage of the Diana separation/divorce anniversaries.
The deal will be no money for her, but a decent-ish trust for Archie. The trust will own the house and will pay a set amount for Archie’s care and security. She relaunches The Tig, publishes an autobiography, does a podcast, and goes on a book/speaking tour. The whole thing is spun as Michelle Obama 2.0.
Harry goes to Africa for six months and reemerges in time for Invictus 2021 with a bit “Hero Harry Hunted Poachers in Africa” pr drive. The divorce is spun as Harry choosing duty over love.
https://www.tumblr.com/anonymoushouseplantfan/625106215861616640/how-do-you-see-it-the-divorce-the-family-drama?source=share
Strongly suspected a Diana-related date (e.g. Nov 20 - Panorama) but also thought William & Catherine's anniversary was a possibility.
https://www.tumblr.com/anonymoushouseplantfan/630285310642765824/harry-announced-his-split-from-cressida-on-the?source=share
https://www.tumblr.com/anonymoushouseplantfan/625029313953169408/divorce-date-announcement?source=share
Thank you so much! I will have to bookmark this.
If Plant's prediction comes to pass, the bigger question is when. My best guess is right after the book is out, and he will do all the press for it solo. But then again, I am not holding my breath.

Every Single Duplicate Costume Combo (May 2023)
Harriet Caplan-Dean and Esme Rothero both performed on the West End yesterday, which meant we saw the first double silver performance! Here’s the rundown of every combo we’ve seen so far:
Tumblr media
L-R:
Collette Guitart and Cassandra Lee, UK Tour. These queens only played one show together, as Aragon and Cleves (pictured) when Collette was an emergency cover in Dec 2019. They never performed a show together in their primary costume.
Liv Alexander and Collette Guitart, West End. These queens performed a few shows together in two combos of queens. Note that Liv has Grace Mouat’s 2.0 costume while Collette’s is her 3.0 redesign. (photo by @/shonalouise_photography)
Cassandra Lee and Natalie Pilkington, UK Tour. These queens performed in the same production in black alt for nine months and did numerous shows together. They never had the same variations, which seems to have been intentional.
Jennifer Caldwell and Cherelle Jay, West End. These two queens played many shows together in various queen combos. Despite both wearing shorts and the primary top for Boleyn/Parr, they never got to do a show together both in that variation. (not sure on photo origin, please link me if aware!)
Bryony Duncan and Cherelle Jay, West End. These queens also played a few shows as various queen combos, as well as performing in West End Live together. They never had any of the same variations.
Shannen Alyce Quan and Madeline Fansler, Australia Tour. These queens performed together as Parr/Boleyn and Aragon/Howard. They never had any of the same variations.
Lauren Drew and Alicia Corrales-Connor, UK Tour. Back in winter 2019-20, Lauren Drew wore a temporary costume made out of modified pieces of former band costumes while she waited for a new Aragon costume. A few weeks later, Alicia left the Norwegian Bliss and temporarily joined the UK Tour as Howard understudy. However, her costume was left on the Bliss for Bryony Duncan to wear, so she also wore a modified band costume when she performed. Alicia went on twice and both times the two of them were on in their modified band costumes. (photo from @/aliciatyra_cc, unsure of origin)
Hana Stewart and Harriet Watson, West End Live. These queens only performed together for West End Live. They both wore their only variation, which were identical.
Esme Rothero and Harriet Caplan-Dean, West End. The newest addition to this post! These queens performed together yesterday for one show as Howard and Parr, respectively. Esme wore her A/H skirt and Harriet wore her pants. (photo from @/elliemaxx)
And a few honorable mentions:
Tumblr media
Pictured: Grace Mouat and Collette Guitart (West End), Jennifer Caldwell and Bryony Duncan (UK Tour). Despite us having behind the scenes photos of these queens together in their costumes, these two sets of queens never actually got to perform together onstage in these costumes.

i mean never say never but with the 4th uk tour queens leaving and likely becoming the six team's first contacts in case of an emergency (assuming they contact recent former queens when castle hopping isn't possible and they need an emergency cover), it does look like west end 4.0 is on track be the first uk cast to not have an emergency cover queen from the previous cast!
og uk tour: renee lamb (arts theatre aragon)
west end 1.0: genesis lynea (arts theatre cleves, this one technically isnt the previous cast but the arts theatre cast was the only other previous cast so im counting it)
west end 2.0 + uk tour 2.0: maiya quansah-breed (og uk tour + og west end parr)
west end 3.0: courtney bowman (west end 2.0 boleyn), collette guitart (west end 2.0 swing, if you want to count her as an e/c but i'm not)
uk tour 3.0: athena collins (uk tour 2.0 parr)
uk tour 4.0: harriet watson (uk tour 3.0 alt), elena gyasi (uk tour 3.0 parr)

Six Fun Fact
Because I'm obsessed with spreadsheets, I've been slowly adding more and more data to my little (ok it's big and slows my computer down hardcore) spreadsheet of Six information. After adding initial debut dates for every role each performer had, I came across a little fun fact: of the 73 unique debut orders performers in Six who performed 2 to 6 roles have had, there have, to this date, been 3 groups of people who debuted all the roles they have performed (again, to this date) in the exact same order; 2 groups of 3 who debuted 3 roles, and 1 group of 2 who debuted 2 roles:
Seymour/Howard/Parr
Elizabeth Walker (Breakaway 1.0)
Tumblr media
Seymour Debut: 16 January 2020
Howard Debut: 18 February 2020
Parr Debut: 26 February 2020
