I love weddings. However, weddings intimidate me. Most of us want to get married have kids with a big home and live happily ever after. Personally I have never imagined myself in my own wedding. That's why weddings scar me. I plan and replan befere the actual wedding. Of course nothing ever goes according to plan but if there anything that usually put me to ease at weddings, they are kids. I don't like posing, I like them the way they are. In there natural moments, it's from those moments that I find ease. UREMBO Urembo is a swahili word meaning beauty. In this case I am using it as a verb to describe how our African girls understand it. I find the word urembo to be very broad. The bond they share is urembo itself. While in Mombasa, I had the rare privilege of working with Joackin Mlago. In my opinion, it was more of an opportunity to watch him work rather than work with him. Peter is a 13 year old boy enjoying the luxury of books that he'd otherwise not had the chance to interact with if not for Kwetu Hope of peace. . Until two days ago, the only home Peter knew was the streets and the only family he had were in same streets. Kwetu home of peace has made it a their priority to Rescue, Rehabilitate, Re-intergrate and educate children from the streets for a period of two years per the requirements of the law then try to integrate them with their original families. . "Reuniting them with their original families has not always been easy. Sometimes you are taking this child back to the same conditions that pushed him to opt to live in the streets, but what can we do, it's the law that requires that we take them back after two years of rehabilitation. The best we can do from that point is to follow up with their families." . Peter is passionate about football, he hopes to become a professional footballer some day.
