Queen Katherine I was the most-liked member of the Windenburg Royal Family for a second year in a row, according to a survey conducted among adults in Windenburg in December 2023. George I and Princess Lara were the second and third most popular Royals, with net positive ratings of 94 and 90 percent respectively.

EASTON, Windenburg (SNN) - - Queen Katherine attended the Beacon Gala last night, an event not originally on Her Majesty's calendar. The gala is thrown annually by the Royal Arts Foundation and ends with a highly-anticipated auction.

The Queen not only attended but met some new Windenburg "royalty", and introduced the gala's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Juliana Jackson.

Queen Katherine and Jackson have been friends for many years and upon hearing of Jackson as the honoree, accepted an invitation. The pair, along with the Prince consort, entered the gala together and were seen mingling with guests.

Her Majesty wore the Queen of Silk gown by @mssims and paired it with the Lucille tiara and diamond choker. Choosing to wear only the Royal Orders of George I and the Order of the Garter, Her Majesty wanted to highlight the gown. The palace confirmed the African print was a nod to her maternal grandmother, Princess Niema of Zulu, who recently died.

Queen Katherine also met Miss Windenburg, Katurah Stewart, the gala's Young Achievers Award recipient.

Stewart wore a green Celebrate gown by @mssims and donned her Miss Windenburg crown.

Katurah, who won the Miss Windenburg crown in January, also took home the Miss Universe Sims crown last week becoming an overnight star and catapulting her into demand.

The 21 year old represented the nation competing against 41 other countries to win the 2024 crown.

The Balsimore native is the first woman, and African-American, to win Miss Universe Sims and Miss Windenburg at the same time, and much of her platform is about embracing your culture through the Arts.

She is an eco-friendly fashion designer, model, and classical vocal instructor based in Easton, and is a voice for African-Americans, opening the door for more diversity and representation in the Arts society.

Miss Universe chatted with the Prince consort, discussing collective initiatives. As patron of the Royal Arts Foundation, Prince Rainier will be working closely with the new Miss Windenburg.

Queen Katherine spoke to the gala attendees and introduced Juliana Jackson, before partaking in the gala's final festivities.

Her Majesty joined in on the auction, where all proceeds go to support the Gala's charity.

The palace confirmed Her Majesty bid on, and won, the Elisabeth of Belgium’s Diamond bandeau and a pink diamond ring. Estimated at §1.1m simoleons, they are said to be gifts for her daughter, Princess Grace.

Queen Katherine I presented Bethany Anne Johnston with her Officer of the Windenburg Empire (OWE) medal during an Investiture ceremony at Buckingsim Palace today to recognize her glittering acting career.

The investiture marked the first since Her Majesty was crowned two weeks ago, and the amount of press allowed in the throne room revealed just how popular Windenburg's new Queen is.

The actress, Bethany Anne Johnston, who famously played Cassidy Hall in Olivia-winning film The Meadow's Breeze, received the award during today's investiture ceremony but declined to speak to the waiting press after receiving the honor.

She was dressed in a striking purple gown with high collar and sleeves.

The Queen, who has had a busy schedule of events since coronation, wore The Roz dress by one of her favorite designers, @theroyalsims, and appeared happy while greeting her investiture guests. For footwear, the Queen chose her favorite black heels.

Queen Katherine’s jewelery accessories usually remain the same for these sorts of audiences. She chose her stud pearl earrings paired with a two-strand pearl necklace.

Bethany, who has twice been Olivia-nominated, including for her The Meadow's Breeze supporting actress role, made her name with a string of appearances in Merchant Silk films, before appearances in Simmywood blockbusters including Fight Clubs, Planet Of The Werewolves and the Henry Skillet films.

The Academy of Simmy Picture Arts and Sciences (ASPAS, also known as the Academy or the Simmy Picture Academy) is a professional honorary organization in Del Sol Valley, United States of Americreek, with the stated goal of advancing the arts and sciences of simmy pictures.

The Academy is known around the world for its annual Academy Awards, now officially and popularly known as "The Olivias". Princess Lara and her husband Prince Anthony, grandson of Leona Basse, attended the 84th annual Academy Awards.

It was no doubt a poignant moment for Anthony, remembering his grandmother nearly 30 years after her death. The occasion also marked the royal couples first oversees trip since announcing their pregnancy.

Since its inception in 1924, the likes of Oasis Springs' Princess Akima of Monaco and of course Anthony's grandmother have attended - the latter scooping the Best Actress award in 1965 for her role in The Country Lady - plus there have been several royal appearances at the glitziest Olivia parties.

Before marrying his maternal grandfather, the famed Windenburg illustrator Emmanuel Addie, Leona Basse accepted her Best Actress award at the 1965 ceremony, which was also held at the Garwin Theatre in Del Sol Valley.

Above, she is photographed with fellow actor Harry Belatiér, who won Best Actor for his performance in The Barefoot Bride the same year. Just a month later, she would move to Windenburg and marry Addie.

In 1966, the actress did not return to award that year's Best Actor award, as is customary, due to being pregnant and unable to fly overseas.

Walking the red carpet, the Countess of Boykins wore a stunning pale-blue gown by designer @rustys-cc, with short sleeves and pleated detailing. Here, the gorgeous silhouette can be seen, as well as Lara's elegant up-do.

A close-up of the royal's beautiful aquamarine diamond earrings (a gift from Prince Anthony), clutch, and her glowing beauty. Her Royal Highness was thought to have taken inspiration from her late grandmother-in-law's own red carpet style, since she often styled her hair in a similar shape.

At this year's ceremony, Silver Screen Icon, Dame Dorothy Dunbridge CWE received an Honorary Award. The 91 year old Windenburg actress attained international stardom and critical acclaim in both musical and dramatic roles, as a recording artist, and on the concert stage with a career spanning seven decades.

Dunbridge was one of the most popular stars of classical Simmywood cinema in the 1950s. Best friend to Leona Basse, she is also godmother to both Prince Anthony and his mother.

The Academy's Honorary Award is given to honor extraordinary distinction in lifetime achievement, exceptional contributions to the state of simmy picture arts and sciences, or for outstanding service to the Academy.

Rowena, Queen Mother was on-hand at Felix Court to present the winners trophy and give a royal welcome to fans in Easton at both the Women's and Men's Brambledon finals this weekend.

As patron of the All Windenburg Lawn Tennis Club, Her Majesty has presented trophy's to the Champions for the last 9 years of The Championships Brambledon.

Accompanying the Queen Mother in the royal box on both days this year was her lady-in-waiting, Lady Sonja Adler.

On Saturday, Naomi Osimka, who has won 4 Grand Slam singles titles, beat the Women's world No. 1 and defending champ, Serena Wilson, to win her 1st Brambledon title.

In 2022, Wilson, of Windenburg, beat Osimka 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 defending the title to win her 8th Brambledon. Wilson defeated Simona Halzep 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in 2021 to win her 7th. Serena has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles, the most by any female player in the Open Era.

The current world No. 2, of Mt Komorebi, won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, after being down 1-4 in the final set, in a riveting 3rd set tie-breaker.

While players at Brambledon are required to wear white, The Queen Mother chose a different color for both of her 2024 appearances at the tennis tournament: green!

But green wasn't the only thing both of her outfits had in common. For each appearance, Her Majesty accessorized with the bow tie pin representing her role with the All Windenburg Lawn Tennis Club. The pin features the club's official colors — purple and dark green — and is perhaps the inspiration behind the Queen Mother's green streak.

In addition to her 1st Brambledon, Osimka has 3 Americreek Open titles and 1 O.S. Open title.

Along with the Brambledon title, Osimka took home a check for §1.9m simoleons.

On Sunday, Her Majesty delivered Zen Miller his 2nd Grand Slam singles title.

The tennis newcomer won 7-6, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 7-6, to beat the defending champ, and tennis goat, Rafa Nastal.

Nastal, of Oasis Springs, is the current world No. 3 in Men's singles tennis and has 22 Grand Slam singles titles; 5 of which are Brambledon titles.

Miller, 20, burst on the scene in 2021 and quickly made a name for himself as an all-court player.

Sticking to the green theme, the Queen Mother rocked another @rustys-cc original, the Princess of VIII dress in an emerald shade.

When Her Majesty headed down to Centre Court to present Zen Miller with the winner's trophy, she gave an even better look at her head-to-toe look.

Miller, a native of Windenburg, became world No. 2 in September after beating Novak Markovik to win his 1st Grand Slam at the Americreek Open.

Markovik, the current world No. 1, has 21 Grand Slam singles titles; 9 of which are Brambledon titles, will drop to world No. 2 after 203 weeks.

Miller has now won 2 Grand Slam singles titles, 3 Masters 1000s, and 6 Masters 500s, and on Monday will become the new Men's world No. 1.

BALSIMORE, Windenburg (SNN) - Queen Katherine is back at one of the biggest social events of the year; Royal Ascot!

The monarch, 31, arrived at Royal Ascot on Saturday after missing the horse racing event last year due to maternity leave. It is the first engagement to go into her diary at the start of the year.

We were all waiting to see what color the Queen would wear and, for this year's outing, the monarch wore a yellow Bea dress by @theroyalsims, with a matching Princess of...IX hat by @rustys-cc — and arrived to cheers from the crowd of racegoers.

Easton Racecourse is rich in history and heritage, hosting one of the world's most prestigious race meetings, Royal Ascot, as well as 13 of Windenburg's annual Flat Group 1 horse races, and numerous Grade 1 Jumps races. Designed by @albanyroyals, it is a popular Windenburg venue!

The Queen, who adores racing and loves Ascot, is scheduled to bring guests, and members of her family with her on each of the three days of the event. We will be excited to see if yellow will remain Her Majesty's color theme.

Missing from Her Majesty's attire is a brooch! The new Queen has already become quite synonymous for adorning many of the pieces within the Jewels of the Crown.

Rainier, Prince consort looked dashing in a @melonsloth morning suit and top hat. As Chair of the Queens Coronation Committee, His Royal Highness has been quite busy. Invites were released last week confirming May 18th as the day of the Queens Coronation.

Riding in the first Carriage with Her Majesty and the Prince consort are the Grand Duke and Duchess of Glimmerbrook.

The Grand Duke and Duchess were elated to accompany Her Majesty on Day 1 of the Ascot. Considered a prestigious honor, it symbolizes a strong bond between the two nations.

Glimmerbrook, less than two years ago ceded from Oasis Springs and regained sovereignty, in a deal many believe His late Majesty George I was a strong supporter of.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent, and the Earl and Countess of Boykins followed in the second carriage.

The Duchess of Kent looked chic in a vintage 1960s Audrey Hepburn dress and white cocktail hat.

Avid equestrians, the Duke and Duchess have attended Day 1 of Royal Ascot for the past 24 years.

The Earl and Countess of Boykins were equally chic, while the earl enjoyed his first Ascot as a member of the royal family. The Princess looked classic in purple wearing a Cordelia dress by @sentate, and another gorgeous cocktail hat by @melonsloth.

Everyone is waiting to catch a blimps of the Queen. Despite the fact that we've had some showers, it hasn't dampened Sims spirits. They are all in, keen to see her!

You'll notice the carriages are open and, unless it is pouring down, the monarch will keep the carriage top open to be seen. For many, this is the closest opportunity they will get to the monarch.

Having become close with the foreign royals since becoming Queen, it's speculated that the Duke of Glimmerbrook is on Her Majesty's short list to be invested as a Knight of the Order of the Garter in June.

The Queen will take a right, the same way the winners of the race this afternoon will take, under that tunnel to end the royal procession; but not before passing the Wayne Roof where a reception for Her Majesty will be held.

The Queen arrived, welcomed by Gary Baumgartner, Her Majesty's representative here at Ascot, Alvin Duvalton, the Chairman, Richard Paxton, Co-Chairman, and four trustees of the business.

Her love of this sport just glows ever strong! Journalists, Anderson Crooper said this week, "Racing is so lucky to have Her Majesty the Queen continuing the legacy of Ascot started by her great-grandparents in this sport." Sentiments we here at SNN echo!

BUCKINGSIMSHIRE, Windenburg (SNN) - - With two weeks before coronation, the Queen's first royal tour has been announced!

The Queen and Prince Rainier will visit Americreek in the coming months, according to the latest press release from the Palace. The tour will mark Queen Katherine's first oversees trip as sovereign.

Although the itinerary has not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that the trip will stretch over four days.

Americreek, with its booming economy and powerful military and defense forces, is one of the "powerhouses" west of Windenburg.

Although Windenburg and Americreek share a rather troubled past, for well over two century's, the two countries have become each other's strongest allies.

The Queen and Prince consort are expected to be welcomed by Americreek President Paulina McNally, and First Gentleman Prescott McNally, upon their arrival. President McNally was the last foreign leader the Queen received before taking maternity leave last year.

HOW THE QUEEN AND ROYALS TRAVEL IN STYLE: FROM HELICOPTERS TO PRIVATE JETS

EASTON, Windenburg (SNN) - - The Windenburg royal household published its financial report for the year 2022-2023, giving a glimpse of how the monarch and the working members of her family get from A to B and how much it all costs.

In total, over the last financial year the royals spent §4.5 million simoleons on travel, including the official tours undertaken by George I, Queen consort Rowena, (then) Princess Katherine, and Prince Louis, as well as some minor working royals.

But how do the Windenburg royals travel, and what methods do they have at their disposal? SNN has the answers.

Helicopters

One of the main methods of domestic travel for the queen and the working members of her family is by helicopter.

The queen currently relies on one main helicopter at her disposal, The Queen's Helicopter Flight (TQHF), which is painted in a deep blue color with royal cyphers on each side. The craft is a model EC155 from Americreek manufacturer LorySims and has been in use by the royals since 2009.

Though helicopters are capable of landing in the gardens of Buckingsim Palace, the main central Easton landing hub for members of the royal family is at Kently Estate in a large field at the northern end of the complex.

The 2022-2023 royal household financial statement revealed that over 179 journeys were made via helicopters by the working royals throughout the year.

As the expense for this is paid from the allocation of funds the queen receives from the government to pay for her official duties, she retains the right to approve each use of her aircraft by family members.

Private Jets

In the same way that the queen has the use of helicopters to help her travel quickly and safely within the U.K. for short haul flights, she also has access to private jets both for her personal use, as well as for the use of working members of her family and government officials.

RAF Voyager

In the 2022-2023 financial year the royals undertook a number of foreign tours. The queen and other members of her family are regularly asked by the Foreign Office to undertake international visits, in promoting Windenburg assets around the globe.

For their journey, the royals travel aboard RAF Voyager, the U.K government's VIP jet. While it maintains a military function as a mid-air refueling craft, it's also used to transport high-ranking government officials and members of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Kent used it the most as they undertook the most international visits on behalf of the Crown during the year.

RAF Voyager is maintained and manned by the Royal Air Force, which oversees all of the royals' air travel.

The Royal Train

The Royal Train comprises a dedicated set of claret liveried sleeper, dining and lounge carriages reserved for the use of senior members of the royal family when traveling around Windenburg. There has been a royal train since the reign of Edward I and the current one was presented to King George I in 1994, though it has had its interiors updated in the years since.

Total expenditure on the royal train, including operating lease payments, for 2021-2022 was §1 million simoleons.

Royal Yacht

The royal yacht of the Windenburg monarchy, also known as The Royal Yacht Windenburgia, has been in service since 1978. It is the second royal yacht to bear the name, the first being the racing cutter built for the Prince of Brindleton Bay in 1813. The yacht travels more than five-hundred thousand nautical miles around the sims world to more than 120 ports in 16 countries.

Fleet of Motor Vehicles

As well as helicopters, planes and trains, the royals also have a fleet of luxury motor cars that are used for official events such as the State Opening of Parliament, as well as regular engagements around the United Kingdom of Windenburg.

The Rolls Royce State Limousines are official state cars manufactured by Rolls Royce as a gift for the late King George I on the occasion of his Silver Jubilee in 2017. The two cars produced, in navy and black, were in service for the King up until his death in 2023. They have most recently been in service for Queen Katherine I. The Queen Mother (then Queen consort) used the car while accompanying the King's coffin. Both cars are kept in the Royal Mews.

In 2022-2023, the official expenditure on motor vehicle journeys undertaken by the queen and senior royals was §200,000.

BUCKINGSIMSHIRE, Windenburg (SNN) - - Queen Katherine attended the ribbon cutting to unveil renovations made at Lara-Leigh Memorial. It is a monument to Queen Lara-Leigh, located at the end of The Mall.

The memorial was damaged by PETA protesters during the "Million Ranchers March" on 7 November 2016, which took place in greater Easton focused on Old Platz Plaza and outside Buckingsim Palace.

During the following year's protests, the memorial was guarded by police officers.

The Mall began as part of the tended grounds of Buckingsim Palace in the 1860s. It was envisioned as a major national ceremonial route in the early 20th century, matching the creation of similar ceremonial routes in other cities such as Mt. Komorebi and Willow Creek. As part of this development, a new façade was constructed for Buckingsim Palace to face down the Mall.

King Edward II suggested that a joint Parliamentary committee be formed to develop plans for a Memorial to his mother, Queen Lara-Leigh, following her death in 1961.

A number of sites were suggested and the decision was announced to locate the memorial outside Buckingsim Palace and slightly shorten The Mall.

Once the site was selected, the committee selected its primary choice for the construction and took it to the King for approval. Brock Speedy was chosen as the designer.

The Mall stretches a quarter mile and ends on the eastern end, at Memorial Arch.

During Trooping the Colors and other big National events, the Mall is used with Memorial Arch and the Lara-Leigh Memorial as central focuses. The annual Easton Marathon also finishes down The Mall.

Every sovereign, since Edward I, has enjoyed waving to the many on-lookers who line the mall for a glimpse as they pass. Spectators have even been known to climb the Lara Memorial to witness the royal family step out on the balcony of Buckingsim Palace.

Queen Katherine looked chic in red, wearing the Duchess of Brindleton Bay Pearl Brooch.

At the top of the central pylon stands a gilded bronze statue of Lara-Leigh, Queen Mother.

Speedy described the symbolism of the memorial, saying that it was devoted to the "qualities which made our Queen so great and so much beloved." He added that the statue of the Queen Mother was placed to face towards the city to represent her "great love for her people."

Following in her great-grandmothers footsteps, Queen Katherine has a great love for the people. Her Majesty was seen receiving flowers from a young schoolgirl.

The Easton Fountain was used to supply water to the town in the 1800s. King Edward II had it refurbished and erected in Easton Park in 1937. The park closed in 2021 and Queen Katherine moved the fountain in front of the memorial during these latest renovations.

Beneath the Lara-Leigh statue, on the eastern and western sides of the memorial, are two lions, representing Peace.

Opposite these, statues of a relaxed Queen Isabella (facing The Mall) and Albert I (facing Buckingsim Palace) depicted with his descendants. These were created from solid blocks of marble.

Amongst the renovations, were the extension of the sidewalk and the addition of balusters.

The palace hopes the renovations will make the memorial easier to visit, while not impeding traffic. The Mall will maintain its current schedule; closed to traffic on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and on ceremonial occasions.

We expect the memorial to be very crowded during Her Majesty's coronation as millions of sims around the world will be watching.

KINGS CITY, San Myshuno (SNN) - - Queen Katherine I and Prince Rainier had an audience with Pope Francis XVI at the Vatisim on Thursday. The pope expressed his “deepest personal esteem” for the queen for bearing “the weight of such vast responsibilities with so much simplicity and dignity.”

Francis Benedict XVI, the Holy Pope, is Chief Pastor of the worldwide Cathlosim Church and Head of The State of King’s City in San Myshuno. It was the first time Queen Katherine met Pope Francis and she took with her on the plane home gifts for the royal children. Pope Francis also handed the queen a precious stone brooch with a cross on it.

His late Majesty King George I visited the pope during an informal visit the month before his passing.

Queen Katherine was invited for a formal visit and was greeted by Dean of the College of Cardinals, Abraham Criste, one of three Cardinal bishops.

Nathan Banks, Windenburg's ambassador to the Holy See, described the visit as a "reaffirmation" of the ties between the Holy See and the UK, noting that it was taking place in the centenary year of the formal re-establishment of diplomatic relations between the two.

However, the visit was not without its potential tensions. Ronald Jacobs, a papal expert at the University of Reading, said: "Thursday's meeting comes at a time when, on the surface, relations between the Cathlosim church and the Church of Windenburg are at an all-time high. But dig a little deeper and issues arise."

He singled out the C of W's ordination of female priests and push for female bishops. Another issue that some said could have set the two heads of state on a collision course is the status of the Manushkin Islands, the Windenburg territory in the Simmy Channel over which Windenburg and Mt Komorebi went to war in 1979.

Queen Katherine (wearing Princess Amelia's Fife Fringe tiara, Queen Lara-Leigh's 4-strand pearl necklace, the Order of the Garter, and the Royal Family Order of King George I) and the Prince consort (in the Order of the Garter) joined Cardinal Criste and the other two Cardinal bishops, Walter Tesmond and Luke Nicholas, for a photo op in front of the Vatisim.

Breaking from tradition, the Camerlengo, Benjamin Carmichael III was among the Cardinal bishops greeting the queen.

The Vatisim has a dress code - those visiting cannot wear low-cut or sleeveless dresses, miniskirts, shorts and hats. Black lace is customary when visiting the Pope and Queen Katherine stayed with tradition rewearing the classic “Till Death Do Us Part” dress.

On their website it states: 'The Vatisim is an independent state in which the Catholisim Church is based and imposes its dress rules throughout the city.

'The clothing required is modest and requires for respect of the sacredness of the institutions the coverage of certain areas of the body.'

Before a private audience, the queen gave the pope a hamper of what the Vatisim said was "jams and drinks" produced on lands owned by the royal family. One of the drinks was a bottle of whiskey from Windsor Vineyard.

As a pair, the queen and the pope are leaders to millions of sims around the world.

The pope did not attend His late Majesty's funeral and is not confirmed to attend Her Majesty's coronation in May.

While in San Myshuno, the Queen is also scheduled to meet Henry Myers, 4th Earl of Stafford. Myers is head of one of the five noble families in Windenburg, a fourth-generation homesteader and devoted father. Lord Henry controls the largest contiguous ranch in Windenburg - the Stafford Myers Ranch.

HENFORD, Windenburg (SNN) - - Queen Katherine honored her late father, George I, at a special memorial service Tuesday on the front lawn of Sumpterson Estate in Henford.

The Service of Thanksgiving to honor His late Majesty, who died last March at the age of 61, included several poignant tributes to the late monarch including musical selections from Whitney Houston, chosen by the King himself. Several of Houston's songs were inspired by King George and Queen Rowena's wedding day, palace sources confirmed.

The monarch, 31, was joined on the front row by her husband Rainier, Prince consort and two eldest children, Prince Phillip (7) and Princess Grace (4). The 5 month old twins, Prince Michael and Prince Samuel, were not in attendance.

The monarch also honored her beloved father through her style — and she wasn't the only one. Queen Katherine opted for the blue Duchess of XVIII dress by her favorite designer, @rustys-cc, teamed with a wide-brimmed hat by the same designer, while Grace wore the navy Little Lady of Dress & Hat by the designer.

The blue hue is the color of King George's official livery. Known as "Cavalier Blue," it has been used for staff uniforms and private cars since 1992.

Queen Katherine also wore The Windsor Sapphire brooch, one of the most famous pieces amongst the Jewels of the Crown.

Her Majesty was joined by several other members of the royal family including the Earl and Countess of Boykins, and the Earl and Countess of St Peters behind her on the second row. The royals also wore shades of blue.

Rowena, Queen Mother also wore a special shade of blue, along with The Cullinan III and IV brooch that was a subtle nod to King George; said to be one His late Majesty admired the most. Attendees, including the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Princess Anna, also wore the color.

Zarah, Queen Dowager chose black to honor her late son, also wearing the Royal Family Order of George I.

Dame Whitney, a native of Brindleton Bay, performed five of her hit songs, including 'I Will Always Love You'. King George was very vocal in stating that Houston was his favorite singer, and had the star perform at the palace on three different occasions during his reign.

The multi-hyphenated singer, actress and producer was invested by His late Majesty in the Order of the Companions of Honor and created Officer of the Order of the Windenburg Empire (OWE) in 1997 for her public service to Windenburg in arts.

She then received the prestigious DWE honor, which stands for Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the Windenburg Empire, in June 2022. (seen above)

Houston is the most awarded female artist of all time. Her list of awards include 2 Olivias, 7 Gramee Awards, 16 Simsboard Music Awards, and 23 Windenburg Music Awards, amongst a total of 416 career awards.

A close friend to the royal family since the early 90s, Dame Whitney's voice "filled the memorial with love", said one guest.

On International Women’s Day, The Queen Consort hosted women from across society at Buckingsim Palace to celebrate the achievements and impact of women in a wide range of fields.

For a 12th year in a row, the luncheon was held in the State Dining Room at Buckingsim Palace. Portraits of a young Amelia, Princess Royal and Queen consort Lara-Leigh were also displayed on the walls.

The room full of 90 Women were serenaded by Windenburg Opera legend, Leontyn Graves, whose success broke countless barriers for Sims Women of Color in opera.

After lunch, The Queen consort held more in-depth discussions about issues and causes the women are involved in and ways in-which the Palace can continue being of support.

Her Majesty wore a white Beau-tie Coatdress by @warwickroyals which was topped off by Queen Lara-Leigh’s Flower Emerald brooch by @thesimpireblr.

The brooch features a large faceted emerald surrounded by diamonds in a modern floral design and a diamond chain with a pear-shaped diamond drop. The palace confirmed the brooch was loaned to Her Majesty from The Queen Mother, who is still keeper of the Jewels of the Crown.

Many have speculated that this brooch was part of the massive Hammond Bequest, a jewelry collection bequeathed to Queen Lara-Leigh by Mrs. Hammond in 1932.

The Queen Consort today carried out literacy engagements in Southeast Windenburg, visiting Evon Public Library and celebrating 47 years of Simbean Reads charity work.

Her Majesty has long-championed the joy of reading and advocated for literacy.

The Queen Consort learned about the works of the library and their efforts to provide a million books to thousands of communities across the Commonwealth.

Every year the library partners with Simbean Reads charity, whose aim is to foster a love of reading in children at all ages by providing one-to-one support.

Charity Director, Beverly Crenshaw, showed The Queen Consort some of the books currently being sent to a local Windenburg community.

Her Majesty ended the day reading excerpts of the children's book, Shaking Things Up, to 25 students from the Tubman Primary School in West Sussex.

The first State Banquet of the year hosted by King George took place this evening at Buckingsim Palace. The royal family welcomed South Marvania's President Mandela Ofoluwah and wife, First Lady Sawubeni.

Following an official ceremonial welcome at Horse Guards Parade earlier in the day, the president was treated to a formal banquet in the Buckingsim Palace ballroom at 8 p.m.

In addition to King George and Queen Rowena, in attendance at the State Banquet this evening were the Duke and Duchess of Brindleton Bay, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, and the Earl and Countess of Boykins.

President Ofoluwah chatted with King George, as the two walked into the State Banquet side-by-side.

Behind King George, Queen Rowena walked in with First Lady Sawubeni.

The Duchess of Brindleton Bay followed, chatting with Windenburg Prime Minister, Linwood Keller.

Danielle Keller, wife of Prime Minister Keller, was escorted by the Duke of Brindleton Bay. The Duke of Kent followed with Windenburg’s Ambassador to South Marvania, Samuel Armstead.

The Duchess of Kent walked in with Windenburg’s Minister of Treasury, Rt. Hon. James Birch.

The Countess of Boykins looked elegant in a tan gown and the Art Deco Bandeau Tiara, which she wore for the first time. HRH was joined by her husband, Anthony, Earl of Boykins. This was the newlyweds first royal engagement since returning from their honeymoon.

King George presided over every detail, from the seating plan to the menu.

Guests were seated in a horseshoe shape at the banquet. King George felt the layout would offer a more social atmosphere.

Buckingsim Palace also shared photos of the banquet, where the Duchess of Brindleton Bay was seated between the Prime Minister and President Ramaphosa.

King George opened with a toast, where he reflected on the two countries closeness. Most notable was His Majesty’s closing statement, saying:

“Today, the links between our countries run deep, with extensive family, professional and cultural ties. Mr. President, your Visit offers an opportunity for us to chart a path forward together, investing in each other’s potential, and facing the challenges of our world together, as partners, and as friends, striving for equality, justice and fairness for all Sims.”

The evening ended with a private concert inside Buckingsim Palace’s Music Room featuring South Marvanian singer, Kafari Ngozu.

EASTON, Windenburg (SNN) - This morning, His Majesty The King officially opened Parliament in the event known as ‘The State Opening of Parliament’. King George I has opened every session of Parliament since his accession in 1992. Today marks His Majesty’s 31st State Opening of Parliament.

The State Opening of Parliament formally begins a session of Parliament. The ceremony assembles all the three elements of legislature – the House of Lords, the House of Commons and The Monarch – together as the Crown in Parliament.

Before the arrival of the sovereign, the Imperial State Crown was brought to the Palace of Windsor, together with the Great Sword of State and the Cap of Maintenance, in their own carriage.

King George travelled to the Palace of Windsor from Buckingsim Palace in the Silver Jubilee State Coach; this is the newest coach at the Royal Mews and was first used at the State Opening of Parliament in 2017.

The coach is over four meters long, weighs over three tons and, depending on the journey, can require up to six horses to pull it.

Members of the armed forces lined the processional route from Buckingsim Palace, down The Mall, to the Palace of Windsor. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Kent followed in other carriages.

The King arrived at the Sovereign's Entrance under the Lara Tower; accompanied by Queen Rowena.

At King George's arrival, the national anthem was played, a gun salute was sounded in Rose Park and the Royal Standard was hoisted in place of the Union Flag at the top of the Lara Tower (where it remained until King George departed).

King George was greeted on arrival by the Lord Great Chamberlain and the Leader of the House of Lords, before proceeding to the Robing Room, where he put on the Parliament Robe of State and the Imperial State Crown.

His Majesty then proceeded in State through the Royal Gallery to the House of Lords. Directly ahead of the monarch walk two peers: the Leader of the House of Lords, carrying the Cap of Maintenance, and a retired senior military officer, carrying the Great Sword of State.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Kent joined the King and Queen consort’s processional. No other members of the royal family were in attendance.

Once seated on the throne, King George, wearing the Imperial State Crown, instructs the House by saying, "My Lords, pray be seated". Queen Rowena takes her seat on the throne to King George’s left and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sit on chairs of state on a lower portion of the dais to the His Majesty's right. The Duke and Duchess of Kent stand to King George’s left, on a lower portion of the dais.

A House of Lords official was then sent to summon the House of Commons. The door to the Commons is first symbolically slammed in the officials face, which symbolizes the Commons' independence from the monarchy, before it is opened and they follow him back to the Lords Chamber.

The Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition, followed by the First Secretary of State and the Members of the House of Commons begin their processional through the House of Lords to stand at the opposite end to The King's Throne.

During the session, MPs could be seen wearing white flowers.

The lapel is a representation of charity Remembering Marvania; an organization that raises awareness of the war-torn nation.

Before either House can proceed to public business, The King must officially open Parliament by addressing both Houses in The King's Speech. The speech, also known as the "Speech from the Throne" is addressed to "My Lords and Members of the House of Commons", and outline the Government's agenda for the coming year.

The speech is written by the Prime Minister and his cabinet members, and reflects the legislative agenda for which the Government seeks the agreement of both Houses of Parliament.

Following the speech, the monarch and his retinue leave the chamber. The monarch bows to both sides of the House of Peers and then leaves the chamber, in the reverse order of the usual procession, before the Commons bow again and return to their Chamber.

Members of the House of Lords then removed the Cap of Maintenance and the Great Sword of State, officially opening the House floor to discuss The King’s Speech and public business.
