Pose Pack #18: How to Save a Life

I made this pose for my story where one sim was depressed and withdrawing from his normal life. The other sim finds him and tries to cheer him up. The entire time I made this pack the song 'How to Save a Life' by The Fray kept playing in my head, so I called it that. The poses are mostly mix and match. I also revised one of my poses from my Despair Sadness and Worry pack to reduce the knee clipping.

31 poses in all. 8 individual poses, 2 puppy poses and 21 group poses (some with puppy and some without)

(As always there may be some clipping. Should be able to be used with both male and female sims. May not work with heavier or pregnant sims)

You will need Andrew's Pose Player or WW Poses and either the Sim Transporter or MC Command Center.

David: Hey, babe. How was work?

Catalina: Not well. I need to talk to you right quick.

Catalina: I had a rough ass day at work. Basically, I dealt with a bunch of prissy racist white bitches and only one other black employee.

David: Wow. What were they saying?

Catalina: Nothing original. Just the same old "black" "nigger bitch" insults behind my back.

David: Well, you survived. So, what about the other black employee? Was he cool?

Catalina: He was cool. His name is Michael. I got to know him a little bit.

Catalina: He seemed over worked and everyone else was just sitting there. Doing nothing.

David: That's what's up. Glad you made one friend.

David: So, Terrence called and asked if you'll be ready to cover the designs tonight.

Catalina: Alright, I'll be there.

Catalina: I'm happy that I got to do all this.

David: Yep. Dreams do come true, man.

David: So, I'm having a little dinner party for the neighborhood this evening and I might need your help.

Catalina: Oh, I'm not going to help right at this moment.

David: Alright.

Catalina: Yeah, I got a lot on my plate. Plus, I have work with Terrence any way.

~ The infant update finally pushed me to open The sims 4 again lol. I randomized these cuties, Vanessa and Ian Dove who created this little cutie, Evan. 🤍🤍🤍

It feels so weird playing completely vanilla since I had to trash and restart my mods folder which was filled with broken cc and outdated mods xD. I can't wait to give them an official makeover, I still think they came out pretty cute vanilla lol.

Another Team NAJ™ meeting.

On a cool chilly and warm afternoon at the Johnson residents. Naura and her beautiful team of women have gathered in her dining area. Just another meeting, right?

Jasmine twirls a piece of her hair, "You know, I love these meetings. But whew... Naura has kept me up for the past four days editing videos. Girl, I'm tired!"

Anjali laughs at Jasmine's joke. Everyone is convinced this is one of those regular Friday meetings. There's only one problem. Today is Monday and Anjali is the one who called the meeting. "I know you’re all wondering why I called this meeting." She takes a brief pause looking around, "SimTube called and would like for you to speak at The Collective Creator Summit." Everyone cheers in enjoyment. Well, almost everyone. Lynn was excited but that only held for so long.

Lynn chuckles, "Hey that's cool and all. But what does that have to do with us?" She feels as if they're just Naura’s crew. Their job is to make Naura look good.

Naura and Jasmine share a look. Lynn and Anjali have never gotten along. Lynn feels as if she should be Naura's Manager. As if she doesn't already get paid the most out of them all. Though she has a point…maybe? She does just about everything. Picks the kids up from school, cleans the house, and cooks dinner, breakfast, snacks, etc. You name it and she'll do it.

Anjali's face doesn’t change from the bright smile she held,” Like I was saying. Simtube wants us ALL to be there. Naura will be a guest speaker, and we’ll also be there to answer the adoring fans' questions. We’ll also teach our own classes.” She looks over at an annoyed but slightly amused Lynn,” I get that we don’t get along. But I refuse to ever stop any of our bags.”

And on that note, conversations between the women went on smoothly. They talked more about upcoming videos and events Naura and her family should attend. The only thing that ran through Naura’s mind was her family. She’s all about being that brown girl in everyone's face, yes. But the ones she shares a last name with comes first. Silas is about to turn 16, Paris has her first Pageant Competition in two weeks, and Clementines has singing lessons coming up. It's go time for Naura(and her team...she doesn't know that yet.). Not to mention, Paris hasn’t lost a single competition she’s been in since she was old enough to compete! Of course, Anjali and Lynn came up with plans. Guess that’s all for today’s shenanigans. Stay tuned.

Introducing: Augusto Medicii

Meet Augusto Medicii, bad boy incarnate and Angelica Belmont's primary love interest--also arguably the primary antagonist in her story.

A bit about Augusto: he is the primary heir to the Medicii family fortune, alongside his younger brother Roberto. The Medicii family are old money and very well respected in their home city of Willow Creek. However, their highly successful family business is plagued with speculations it is connected to the Tartosian Mafia and that the Medicii patriarch Massimo Medicii and his two sons, Augusto and Roberto, are members of the mafia. Nevertheless, they are a powerful family that Angelica's family is keen for her to marry into.

Augusto is ambitious, self-assured, adventurous, romantic, jealous, and loyal. Already graduated with a degree in Economics and Computer Science, he is well established in the world of investment, he is looking to start up his own tech company soon. He is known for being a bit of a heartbreaker among Windenburg's female socialites. Some presume the wake of scorned love that follows young Medicii is because he has his sights set on Angelica and Angelica alone.

The two met at Copperdale High and became fast friends despite their differences. Augusto was quite popular and very involved in sports, whereas Angelica was more involved in the arts and lived a quieter social life--being a somewhat shy sim. Augusto fell for Angelica, and they were secretly together during their senior year of high school. However, their relationship fell apart when Angelica rejected Augusto's marriage proposal and chose to go to university instead. Her leaving the relationship broke not only Augusto's heart but also her family's--they saw this as a severe error in judgment and a rejection of the traditional values they hoped to install in their children. However, perhaps the Belmonts need not fret so much; the pair never quite got over each other, and Augusto, in particular, struggles to accept the end of their relationship.
