I love the angst of asura just hating kid on principle but…

Au where upon meeting kid for the first time, asura just goes full big brother mode. Like he can’t explain it but nothing bad can happen to this child and if anyone tries to hurt him asura will personally end their entire existence.

And kid is equally as effected. He knows he should be scared of asura, but he’s just… not. He wants more than anything to help this person who is so clearly hurting.

They eventually work things out on their own, and upon realizing why they feel the way they do, actively try to connect as brothers.

Medusa and Arachne are still stirring up shit and everything is in total chaos. But there’s an actual slow burn redemption arc and familial bonding bc fuck you let them be happy.

So I mentioned having the death bros on my mind… this is part of an au I formulated YEARS ago where asura rescues kid from noah, due to some funky fragment ‘We were once apart of the same whole and I feel the pain you feel’ kinda bullshit that I love HEHE

Can’t stop won’t stop drawing the two of them having healthy family relations. I just need to see them happy so bad, ya know?

Hello and Good morning, day, evening and night to you, my dear fellow Soul Eater Fan,

My name is Mod Ocean and this is the promo post for Shinifam week.

My friends and I were looking at all these awesome Character and Ship weeks that our beloved fandom has. Sadly there isn´t a Shinifam one, so all of us decided to change that.

But we can’t do this on our own, which means we need your help. So please reblog this post to spread the news to the Shinifam fans out there. Also, follow this blog, please, it would mean a lot to all of us to make Shinifam week a thing.

We plan to hold this week from January the 22th to January the 29th. If we intervene with any other SE character weeks, please tell us so we are able to change the date in time.

This week is going to be about the platonic bond between Lord Death and his two sons, Kid and Asura. If you wish to participate in this week, you are also very welcome to add Liz and Patty (if you like the idea of them having a brother-sister relationship with Kid). Any other romantic ships, however,  are not the point of this week. Our dearest apologies.

Shinigami and Asura father-son head canosn?

One headcanon I have is that, you know how lord death basically raised Death the Kid amongst humans so that hed more or less see them as equals? I wanna say that Lord Death raised Asura with more of a mindset of humans being inferior and needing protection. (Not that that’s a bad thing just that it’s different then his current parenting strategy!) LD just straight up hits Asura with a “everything the light touches will be yours” speech at like the age of 5. I also wanna say that lord death included young Asura in everything; every mission debriefing, every battle plan, every covert operation. I mean, Asura was to grow up to be his second in command after all, LD would kinda have to keep him in the loop.
