I’m just going to ramble about Pearl boy, Painter of the night & The dangerous convenience store here! Save me making multiple posts!
So, they have returned to us 🤭 my precious Nakyum and his man Seungho, I’m so pleased my Friday was empty without them 😭 but I do hope the author is fully recovered and healthy!
The way In-hun literally badmouthed Seungho and then tried to assault Nakyum 😤 as if my baby hasn’t gone through enough already! However, Seungho isn’t the only one who’s seriously developed, Nakyum has gone through some development too. The way he slapped In-hun for badmouthing Seungho, and then when he tried to assault him he fought back 😩 I was so proud!
The way these two care about each other 😭 my heart can’t take it, I’m hoping for happiness to ever be in their lives! I think the author did say they will have a happy ending, I do hope that’s true!
Pearl boy be continuing to give me heartburn ❤️🔥 like all this pain!
The way Pilwon gave Dooshik an opportunity to either spare Jooha pain or cripple him is crazy! He was like “jump off the cliff and I won’t shoot Jooha or run away and I’ll still spare him but I’ll cripple him for life” 😭 and Dooshik the sweetheart who will do anything for Jooha! Though scared was literally about to take the leap, but Jooha rushes Pilwon and takes them both off the balcony edge.
So, Jooha is falling with Pilwon, and basically accepting his fate! When Dooshik jumps in after them, and they’re hugging under water and again I think they were both just accepting their fate. However, an angelic light shaped like a manta ray pulls them from the depths, and that ray of light is none other than Daehwi! He saved them, and was basically like “dude you can’t die yet you have to tell me where my brother is” 😂🤣 once again Daehwi’s love for his brother saves the day!
It’s the way he was trying to wake him up with a punch 😂🤣!
Moving on, The dangerous convenience store the manhwa that was feeding me wholesomeness, to counteract the trauma and pain from Pearl boy! Just got a lil angsty!
Gunwoo has been hurt 😔 I should have seen this coming with his job! It’s the way Euijoon was thinking about Gunwoo, and how he wants to tell him he likes him 😭 but Gunwoo is bleeding in a car park! Pain!

Is a victim of rape an asshole for not sympathising/empathising with someone who profited off his abuse???
So, this is about Pearl boys Jooha & Daekwang, and more so their victim hoods! Now, Jooha is a victim of rape/abuse and Daekwang is also a victim of rape/abuse, and of course it’s horrific that they both had to experience that! I would also like to say no matter the reason, Dooshik getting Daekwang gang-raped is not acceptable behaviour and I do think Jooha should have maybe held him a bit more accountable for putting Daekwang through something he had suffered!
However, this thread I saw on Twt has left me sort of reeling because they’re saying “how should we be able to sympathise with Jooha for being a victim of rape if he can’t do the same for another victim?” and that “Jooha is an ass for not feeling any empathy towards another victim”! Yet, I don’t see how it was wrong or at least not understandable of Jooha to not feel any sympathy/or empathy towards Daekwang for the rape? Daekwang may have been “innocent” in the context of the assault that led Dooshik to take that revenge, given that was Daehwi who committed that assault and his brother was unaware of him doing so at that point! However, he isn’t without guilt either, he was very complicit in Jooha’s previous abuse/rape:
He organised, advertised, exploited and was behind the videos of Jooha’s suffering and pain! He literally profited off of Jooha’s abuse/rape, and your expecting Jooha to feel sympathy/empathy for someone who profited off his suffering 🤨 I’m sorry that’s so weird! It’s also weird because going by their logic of Jooha is an ass for not being empathetic towards another victim of abuse/rape, then Daekwang is an ultimate ass because if we look at some of the hints and information we got about him. It seems that Daekwang has already experienced abuse/rape, during his past when over in Japan! So, that mean HE as a possible rape victim(which I think is the case) showed no sympathy or empathy towards another victim, and in fact actually profited and was complicit with his abuse/rape! Like what does that say about him?! I’m sorry I just don’t understand how it makes Jooha an ass? Or at least how it’s understandable that Jooha wouldn’t feel sympathy/empathy towards someone who was complicit/and profited off his suffering?
