Getting really disappointed with Mattel’s lack of consistency with Clawdeen’s glasses ngl, especially so early on in the launch ._. Most of the big marketing and promotional shots of the dolls don’t show her glasses (they show up inconsistently in the commercials with stop motion). They weren’t in the animated music video. They’re not even in most of the stock photos for the doll itself. And now the Skulltimate Secrets doll doesn’t have glasses either.

Sure you could say she doesn’t need them all the time and/or also uses contacts, that works as an in-universe explanation. But the glasses are part of her core look in both the live action and the new animated series, and a central enough feature of her core look in the dolls that it shows up in almost all the doll art thus far (she even gets a sporty pair of goggles in the Ghoul Spirit pack). The exception to the doll art so far is Creepover Party, since the doll itself doesn’t come with glasses, which supports that she probably doesn’t need them all the time. But that still doesn’t explain why most of the marketing for Clawdeen’s core doll, her signature look, which does feature glasses, doesn’t show her wearing them.

Unless Mattel thinks it’d be bad for sales.

So it’s fine for supplementary media but not for directly advertising the doll itself? Guess they’re trying to have their cake and eat it too.

Hello my fellow Masked Singer fanatics! Welcome (or welcome back) to Ana’s Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana (nice to virtually meet you btw), recap every single episode of The Masked Singer. Here we are again with season 5, but this time another group, Group B, which consist of Black Swan 🖤🦢, Piglet 🐷, Chameleon 🦎, Grandpa Monster 👹 👴, and Phoenix 🦜.

Commentary: Ok, so this wasn’t surprising whatsoever, she sang Tik Tok by Kesha and you can obviously tell that she isn’t a singer at all. Like idk how else to explain it to you guys, but I guess she was talk singing... kind of like Wendy/the lips last season... so it was kind of easy the moment she opened her mouth to start singing to recognize immediately who it was...

Having said that, she was revealed to be (as I knew, this one wasn’t hard)...

Hehe I knew it! Again, like Wendy Williams aka the lips, this was way too obvious. She already walked around Hollywood Blvd with the Don’t Talk to me hoodie on so I knew she was going to be on the show but the min I saw Phoenix, the clues, and the moment she opened her mouth, I was so certain it was Caitlyn. No, I am not a big Kardashian/Jenner fan tbh but I used to watch the show way back when.... like in 2016? I am not sure, but I recognized her voice immediately.

Now onto my guesses for the remaining 4:

1. Black Swan 🦢🖤

Commentary: So she sang Barracuda by Heart and damn, she got a strong voice! It’s a really amazing voice, even though the song choice wasn’t my favorite, because it didn’t suit her voice completely and showcase her range, but she was badass (can I say that? Whatever, this is my show, I’ll say it, it’s not THAT bad of a word) tbh. In certain parts, she was like screaming a lot and I was like um maybe this isn’t her best song choice but her voice is amazing! She gives me Seahorse mixed with Flamingo vibes, I love her!

Reasoning/Clues: there are so many clues that match but her voice is the main thing that clicked for me that it was her, but let’s look at those clues so you can get the picture:

She talks about being trapped and someone else’s prey and then getting out of it= she was trapped in her record label & there was controversy surrounding it and she had to sue her label for not releasing her music

2. Piglet 🐷

Commentary: He was my favorite of the night with his rendition of Speechless by Dan + Shay! You guys know if you have seen my recaps in season 3 (or even last week with Robopine) that I have a soft spot for a guy who has a super silky voice, like either boy band type or R&B smooth af kinda vibe (i.e. Fox in season 2, Turtle in season 3, Robopine in season 5).... or should I say any guy who can falsetto and Piglet is giving me those boy band smooth vibes, I love it so much! His voice is soooo familiar I am so sure about this one by the way.

Reasoning/Clues: This one I recognized immediately, the voice was really easy to figure out, but these clues also are pretty convincing (oh and he was on Ken’s show, I Can See Your Voice, so it’s not surprising that he would be on this show):

The clue package had a dating show vibe = reminiscent of Love is Blind, the Netflix dating show he hosts with his wife Vanessa

The world saw his heart break= he had a very public relationship with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson and they even had a reality show together called Newlyweds

Cluedle-doo clue: “knows how to stay cool even in the heat”= referring to his past aka his boy band 98 degrees (get it? Because that’s the heat and they are cool because they are a boy band... well played Masked Singer well played... I wanna meet whoever makes these clues because they are great with puns and they seem super clever)

3. Chameleon 🦎

Commentary: Chameleon surprised me I am not gonna lie. I thought he was going to be another athlete like Whatchamacallit last season or White Tiger from season 3 because he was so tall but nope he surprised me with his rendition of Ride with Me by Nelly. He seems like a legit rapper and I liked him a lot than I thought I would honestly so this guess isn’t totally out of left field.

Reasoning/Clues: so yeah, the voice and the height kinda gave it away to me (Wiz is 6 foot 4 inches and his body type matches the chameleon), but also yeah clues I have to give you guys some logic bombs instead of being like eh that voice and height BOOM WIZ KHALIFA... yeah no it doesn’t work like that, so here are the logic bombs hehe:

007 clue= he has a song called (yes this is real, look it up) James Bong (omg I am trying not to laugh while typing this but whatttt?! Google really is a gem omg 😳😂) and he played James Bond in the music video

Commentary: He sang Mambo No. 5 and yeah it’s a basic choice for a song, but I liked it. He is not my favorite by any means and now that I listen to it again, I can only hear this person and I am not a fan of him like whatsoever (even tho I gotta acknowledge he has changed and I have *I KNOW... I HATE ME TOO* agreed with stuff he has said in his podcast un ironically.... yeah I am so sorry, I hate myself for saying this too... anyways let’s just get to the person I mean

Reasoning/Clues: Yup, um... I really hope I am wrong but honestly ever since someone said it in the YouTube comments section of his performance, I can’t un hear it and I am shook honestly (at least it’s not his brother... I mean we can get worse, and he has respected the pandemic and not been a prick like his *cough* brother *cough*... just saying.. oh and if you don’t know what I am talking about or who this is, he’s a YouTuber who got into some um controversy because he filmed a dead body in 2018 so there’s that... oh and his brother has done a billion worse things than him, but you can Google that one if you are interested in finding out more because it’s too much for me to talk about and we are not even talking about Jake (that’s the brother))... I’m back, I’m back! So here’s what happened...I watched 5x10 on October 1, never edited my note about it, then ended up taking an inadvertent break from watching until now. Idk why, but i needed a break from like...watching tv i hadn’t seen before. Anyone else have that habit of watching things you’ve already seen when you’re going through an anxious period? Starting a new job in the same month as the 2020 presidential election fit the bill, and i wanted to really immerse myself in the final three episodes of this amazing show properly so i decided to wait until i was feeling it! Backstory

{"Emily was bullied from a very young age and her past has no pleasant memories whatsoever. In her teens she was also abused which is the reason she is as insecure as she is today. The tragedy of her parents' deaths had sent her over the edge and she decided to move from America to Japan to go to Art School to start anew. Not long into the first semester of University, she was abducted by the Tsukinami brothers and became their new victim of their plans for continuing their blood line, she was completely submissive and allowed them to take her to the Demon World. The scar on Emily's chest is from a heart implant, her own heart was removed and disposed of and a First Blood heart was now implanted inside of her. Carla and Shin's plans had gone correctly and Emily was no longer completely human, since she now has the blood of the Founders running through her veins. Carla and Shin were cruel men at first, but over the years she has grown close to them quickly. They found her interesting, she was unlike any other women they've met and she hadn't tried to stop them at all. At first she did not know why they transplanted the heart into her, she didn't really care, she even fell in love with Carla before she found out. Once she knew the reason, she had never been happier because for once in her life she feels that her existence is necessary and important for someone. She no longer felt worthless as she had all of her life.}

STORY TIME: Former NBA Star Stephen Jackson Spills All The Gag-Worthy Tea About Why He Left His Ex-Fiancée At The Altar

Former NBA star Stephen Jackson sat down for story time to reveal the real reason he called off his wedding with ex-fiancée Imani Showalter. And the story is juicy AF. More inside…

It’s story time! And this is a juicy one.

Former NBA star-turned-Big3 baller Stephen Jackson was involved in a longtime relationship with former “Basketball Wives: LA” star Imani Showalter. However, he ended up calling it quits with her… AT THE ALTAR. But, there’s a good reason.

While smoking in an IG Live, the professional athlete decided to share everything that went down behind-the-scenes the day of his wedding to the mother of children, Imani. He never said her name, but it was obvious who he was talking about.

He started off the video with a disclaimer, saying he was not speaking out to “demean nobody.” He wanted to just shared his side of the story. He also dropped some gems on the young brothas who were tuned in:

”The moral of this story is, find you one woman, love her through the good and bad and build with her. Because I’m tellin you, if you think having a whole bunch of hoes and having multiple kids by more than one woman is something to brag about, it will ruin your life. Thank God it didn’t ruin mine but it will add a lot of stress to your life,” he said.

According to Stephen, he met Imani in New York and they dated for a few years before their relationship got rocky. She moved to San Antonio with him and he even won a championship with the team. However, the organization didn’t like the way Imani dressed and felt she was a bad influence on the other WAGs, according to him, so he ended up not renewing his contract with them.

They moved to ATL and then Indiana. Stephen popped the question, proposing during his tenure with the Indiana Pacers, but the couple decided they would tie the knot in Houston, TX, where Stephen is originally from. He said he loved her, but he was adamant about having a prenup in place before getting married.

“I take care of a lot of people. I’m never letting one woman control of all the hard work I’ve done in my life. None of these muhf*ckas was in the gym with me. So I told myself whoever I’m married to, they signing a prenup off top. It’s not even a second guess,” he said.

No word on how much of his money he flossed and used to GET her in the first place, but we digress.

They originally had the prenup drawn up 3-4 months before the wedding, however, Imani was dragging her feet with signing it. He brought it to her attention several times before the wedding and she always had an excuse as to why she hadn’t signed it yet.

During their wedding planning, Stephen suggested they have his pastor officiate the ceremony. Imani didn’t want that. She wanted to use a pastor one of her friends suggested – a man she hadn’t even met before.

”I spent about $400,000 on the wedding, y’all. Pastor don’t matter to me. I just want to marry you. I don’t even give a damn. Now, we at two weeks before the wedding. Everything planned and ready to go. I’m like, ‘Look bruh why I got to keep asking you about this prenup. It ain’t like you don’t know what’s on it. What motives? This what I told her, what motives you on?! I ain’t on nothing, I just ain’t had time to sign it planning a wedding.”

Chile, we were stuck at $400K.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding and the prenup still hadn’t been signed.  Yes, this is giving us Kandi & Todd pre-wedding vibes too.

”So, this the day of the wedding. Y’all ready for the good part. We wake up that morning, I’m getting dressed. All my groomsmen. In the back of mind, all I’m thinking about is this damn prenup,” he shared.

”We in the back room and the preacher come in with his assistant and my nanny come in with a spooked look on her face. She pulls me to the side and she like, ‘She still ain’t signed it.’ So, I said, ‘I ain’t getting married then.’ Steph [Stephon Marbury] was like, ‘She ain’t sign the prenup, what we even here for?’

”The preacher steps up, remember the preacher? He says ‘Hold on, now I know you love this girl. Don’t make a drastic decision. I think you should just let God handle it.’ I said, ‘Huh?’ He said, ‘As the pastor, I don’t believe in prenups.’ Now I know why she was fighting for you. You don’t believe in prenups. Damn what you believe in. I put everything in God’s hands and God is telling me to put the pen in her hand and make her sign this gotdamn prenup. That’s what God tellin me. So God tellin you and me two different things.”

At this point, the wedding is OFF and Stephen is CRUSHED.

”When we first get back to the room, I break down crying. Honest to God truth, I was hurt,” he explained. “I wanted to marry her, bruh. I break down crying for like twenty-thirty minutes. I’m hard down crying. I didn’t think a woman would take me to this point over a piece of paper. And we got a child together. I was honestly hurt. I was in there hard down crying. And this is when I fell in love with Mike Bibby mama. I’m talking like snot everything. As a grown man, I ain’t never cried like that. Mike Bibby mom grab her bare hand, wipe the snot and everything from my face and picked my chin up and she said, ‘You became a man today.’”

Stephen said someone from Imani’s side told him she wanted to speak to him, so he goes to chat with her. She’s hysterical, saying she’ll sign the prenup, but Stephen was hip to game.

”Listen I was born at night but not last night. Anytime anybody signs anything where they’re crying, under any type of stress, that shit can get thrown out. I was already told that by my folks so I was already on game. So the sh*t she tried, thinking I was going to buckle so it could get thrown out. No sweetheart. You chose your decision. Claim under distress that’s what it’s called,” he said.

So, Stephen heads downstairs and he said Stephon Marbury was in the DJ booth. He said the first song he played was Kanye West’s “Golddigger.”

“That sh*t was classic my n*gga.” Stephen said.

Hmmm.

Then, Stephen revealed he ended up sleeping with one of her friends:

“This the sickest part of the whole thing. After we had partied in the hotel, me and partners was getting ready to go out. Two of her main squeezes that was with her, was with us that night. And I’ma keep it funky, I downed one of ‘em. Ya feel me. But that’s her friends though. Yeah I did it. Shole did. If ima trick $300,000-$400,000 Ima get some get back. They couldn’t wait.”

Wow.  Even if she was wrong for what she did - in his eyes - does he believe this makes him a good person automatically? Especially sexing her friends on what was supposed to be their wedding night?  He's telling on himself as well about his character, which shouldn't suddenly be affected because you're hurt.

The Masked Singer Season 4 Episode 4: Group B Playoff Time! A Reveal That Had Me Shook AF... Commentary and Guesses

Hi fellow Masked Singer lovers! Welcome (once again) to Ana's Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana, recap every single episode of the Masked Singer. If you are new, welcome! So what I do is pretty much start with the eliminated contestant, give my thoughts (this one's juicy based on the title, I promise you that), and then go into my guesses of the remaining contestants/my thoughts on their performances. The Baby Alien 👽

Performance: You know his performance of It’s Time by Imagine Dragons was actually pretty good, I am kind of sad that he left so soon. I knew it was either him or Whatchamacallit who was going to leave, but my money was on Whatchamacallit so I was kinda bummed to see Baby Alien go. However, it made for a great reveal, like damn I am still shocked and it’s been days (apologies for the delay in this btw, it’s been a busy couple of weeks).

So Baby Alien was revealed to be to my surprise...

Mark Sanchez

Ok so if you don't know who he is, neither did I. The shocking part for me was that he is a freaking NFL QUARTERBACK and I was totally expecting an actor or a comedian under that mask. That Russian accent really got me, oh my God! Having said that, I am really impressed by him since he had to carry a 40 pound thing & learn how to maneuver a puppet. It's super cool to see an athlete really into acting, Broadway, and musie gives me low key Troy Bolton from HSM vibes and I love it!

fuck it. anytime i talk to someone about this, they never take me seriously and im so sick of it. you say i can talk to you about anything that im feeling but im telling you this shit is really fucking me up and the most you can say is some shit like ‘wow sorry’ or ‘omg that’s crazy’ like i get it, sometimes you dont have shit to say but damn. or if i do start ot talk about it or something else with anyone, i get cut off because something else is more interesting or what ever you say is more interesting. this is why im always posting so much on this damn site because i cant get interrupted when im typing. this is why if i ever feel some type of way, i dont say anything until im t h i s close to killing myself because what’s the point anyway? what are you going to say to make me feel any better. what can i say to you to make you feel better. i feel like a failure of a person if i have to go to you about what i feel because now not only am i giving you my sadness and my deadweight (tainting your life, basically) but im also admitting to my own weakness and as a black young woman i cant afford to do that any more than i have in the last two years. so you know what? if this post is already too long for you then keep scrolling. otherwise, listen the fuck up because im gonna tell you how im pretty sure i have ruined my whole ass brain with some wacky shit.

*fstfwd to the part where im walking from the dorms to the track* 

at first im cool, you know? im really chilling like having a blast until suddenly i feel that like dehydrated feeling where everything gets bright af and im a little dizzy. so i take a pause on the brick wall next to the sidewalk. i think classes have just let out for the afternoon so a good amount of people are walking by me. i still feel that ‘i havent had any water all day but im gonna do this super hard workout’ feeling as im sitting on the wall. then i look at people, and theyre all looking directly back at me (in hindsight, they weren’t) but when i blink, they turn their heads in slow motion away from me. now im getting worried. so i stand up slowly and make my way further down the hill towards the track. now i only see three people....but i keep seeing the same three people. i cant feel my body at all anymore now. not in like a ‘numb’ way but more like, my being has become the air around my body instead of my body itself. im walking on a treadmill now but the treadmill is made out of the sidewalk ive been walking on. everything is passing me but ive been walking in place for what seems like centuries. the guy in the red shirt passes me a fourth time and this time i make eye contact. as i look at him, his head splits into two different heads and they start to twist around each other. i try to ignore it because i know that any sort of freak out will not end well, so i pretend it’s normal and keep walking. i’ve finally made it to the crosswalk somehow and the sun is beaming on my arms. the heat feels different. it feels more like my skin is just different where the sun is hitting it. so i look up at the sun and the sky starts turning purple. again, i act like it’s normal. the same guy who’s head just split into two is standing next to me now as the crosswalk light tells us the cross. now im walking down the hill, still on the treadmill while ‘confidently lost’ keeps playing in my earphones. i lose track of what i hear normally and what’s in the song which is why im confused when this girl (one of the only three people i kept seeing on my walk) comes up to my other shoulder. she looks like a normal student, brown hair in a ponytail with super duper green eyes. like vegetable green. i dont take my earphones out but she looks at me and says “well....this is it”. and she keeps walking in front of me. a few steps later i start thinking she means death. then i start freaking out as im processing that i died and im trapped on our campus for eternity, walking on the same treadmill forever. then i start thinking maybe im in some sort of coma and there is a world outside of the one im living in. i go along with this idea. everything starts moving slower though and it’s scaring me because i see every phase of the movements. i move my hand in front of my face and i see 10 of them go by until they turn into one. i keep doing this until the trees around the walkway start bending and twirling in my way. (anyone on the outside wouldve seen me climbing over nonexistent small fences). the song is still playing and it’s driving me crazy because i dont know if i actually hear birds chirping or not. after wrestling and climbing my way through trees, i find myself at the track. i look up and the sky is still purple but the track itself is starting to rotate. i see som many people moving at once and it’s scaring me. it’s scaring me a lot that all of these people have the ability to move so much and i dont. so i turn around and walk to the locker room. i lay down on the couch and people filter in and out. no one really questions what’s wrong with me just laying there in normal, non-athletic clothes, staring at the wall (another concern we’ll address later because at least i know if i do off myself no one will actually care) except for ashley who assumes ive been crying because my eyes are bloodshot and swollen. some friends come in and just think im ignoring them talking to me about their problems, etc. i dont say anything. so i close my eyes (at least i think i do) everything goes black, like curtains have dropped and i see little bits of things that i thought i forgot from my life literally fly by me. like super quick trailers. then four circles appear at the end of a tunnel thing that was formed by these scenes and they start spinning around themselves. im aware of everything happening within my body at this point. i can feel every drop of blood inside me. my heart is beating slower than i recall it ever beating and when it does, it’s one hard pound against my chest. the air conditioner in the locker room turns on and i can tell because it’s making every nerve stand on end and the goosebumps raising from my skin are excruciatingly painful because i can feel them rising. like the intensity of everything my body was doing was just.......too much to handle. i start thinking “wait is this death or did i already die? is this official death?” and then i black out and come to when im at my apartment door and im unlocking it. i have no idea when i got here or when i made the decision to come here but here i am. i check the time on my watch “13:42″ and then go to sleep. i wake up and it’s dark outside. i check my phone and apparently ive had an entire conversion with my coach who was concerned after seeing me walk to the gate and turn around and a few random snaps, etc. i have no idea what happened. i start questioning which reality im supposed to exist in and i start wondering if the one ive been living in all along has been a hallucination. and the other day when i experienced pretty much the same thing again, it was a bit different because this time, my realities kept changing. like when you walk from one room to another, that’s how i would feel looking from one object to another. i dont ever want to feel this again but it’s obviously had some lingering affect because every now and then ill see something in my vision that i know isnt there, i wont process things ive done until way later (like responding to my boss today at a meeting. i didnt process that i said something to her until she was responding because in my head i was like ‘why is she talking to me rn’. ill be doing my usual walks and i’ll start feeling like im on a treadmill again. i dont know if it’s an out of body thing or if that’s what dissociating really is.....idk but it’s fucking scary because it feels like my entire being keeps leaving my physical being for brief seconds. that’s my story. that’s all i have wanted to say to people who pretend to care.
