can't believe a show based on a videogame (usually games adaptations are notoriously bad, which isn't the case here tho) gave me the beauty and the beast/twisted mirrors/enemies to traveling companions/ruthless antihero+optmistic but still badass heroine who takes none of his shit/age gap but make it sexy dynamic of my dreams. as much as i love maximus and i think he deserves the best writing ever because 1. he's a clever deconstruction of the aspiring Knight bro who's actually a bit of a loser and, as much as lucy, sees the world in black&white at first and then doesn't get what he thought he wanted but what he needs (or at least i hope he'll eventually get it), and 2. he's a cutie and i want an epic love story for him too, it's very funny how they tried to give us a puppy kind of romance and the tumblr girlies still fixated on the "toxic ~she bites his finger off and he cuts hers off and sews it on his hand in what we'll pretend it's a symbolic marriage rings exchange or whatever~ asshole who used to be a nice guy/good girl™ with a lot of spunk and hidden anger but unshakeable morals" kind of relationship.

Got inspired by a bunch of amphibians on a lecture and I finally came up with the designs for the rest of Goldstone and Amethyst's siblings + an ancient Seawing cryptid that can turn ocean water into blood or something.

Andromeda is finished!!!

This big baby is MASSIVE, already outgrowing her baby nest crate, but thankfully still plenty sociable.

She's a hidden/false arm puppet with a movable jaw. There's wire in the ears for stability and posability, and her secret bonus feature is an optional smoke machine mounted inside the head!!

The smoke test worked great, though when stationary it mostly builds up inside the head. I think when she's being actively puppeted it should disperse fine!

The head is an EVA foam base with Foamo detailing for the beak, entire mouth, and the eyebrow ridges. The eyes are from @kazulcosplay on Twitter and REALLY give her life. She's got craft turkey feather accents and EVA foam scales painted with the same color shift paint as her beak and eyes peppered throughout her baby fur, including on the wing coverlets!

I'm soooo so proud of how this came out, there were definitely some hiccups with me trying too much for my first ever puppet, but the end product is something I'm extremely happy with and that's what matters.

These shots are so vital and important to Ricky’s story. Last year on opening night of HSM he saw his parents hugging and thought they were getting back together, that nothing was actually changing. He was so desperate for that, so naïve, grasping for any sign of hope. So when that was the furthest thing from the truth it ended up breaking him. Sending him down a path of self destructive tendencies that hurt not only him but the people around him. But now he sees them hugging knows they are not back together and is so at peace with it because of his growth and because he can accept change now and it can't break him not like it used to, and all of that is due to the way loving Gina changed him. Showed him how you can fall in real deep love with someone and it can change your whole view of the world and of love and of relationships.

Tbh I feel like Rin isn’t given enough props for being like 12 and doing a dangerous surgery for an eye transplant mid-war. Honestly that’s a horrific situation and she did really well considering that Kakashi had basically no damage besides a thin scar.

You're telling me Alicent had a girl and Aegon (who grew up with stories of their ancestors and knows targaryen traditions) isn't convinced that Helaena was made for him? That Alicent not only went out of her way to give him a bride, she created her?? Unrealistic

I thought about Hunter making Willow a pair of garden overalls before and I like to imagine that he takes her old season 1 dress that she's outgrown and repurposes the material into something practical that she'll wear all the time. She might not be the same person she was but that person is still special to her and she carries the memory proudly <333
