rewatching JJK season 1 (and rereading some manga sections) before the shibuya arc airs, i’ve noticed all the heartbreaking tiny things gojo does for his students, because he had no one to do that for him.

he could have left yuji at jujutsu tech with megumi, but instead he took them on a fun trip to go get nobara in tokyo, because yuji had just lost his only family and then immediately had 10 more traumatic things happen to him at once. gojo customizes yuji’s uniform to show him that someone is still looking out for him and he’s not alone in this world, even though the entire jujutsu world wants him dead.

and megumi says that gojo does stuff like this all the time, which means he did stuff like this for megumi and tsumiki to make sure they had normal childhood joys as they grew up, because he was always thinking of giving them the things he didn’t have.

he has nobara and yuji do their little mission together, because he knows they’re both new to the city and alone and need a friend. he forces megumi to come along, and gives yuji the room next to megumi’s, bc he wants megumi to have the friend group he lost, and bc megumi is so lonely without his sister, and bc when geto was going through something difficult as a teen, he was isolated and his friends couldn’t help him until it was too late.

and in JKK 0 he does the SAME for yuta - yuta is a special grade like gojo is, and he could easily train him a bit alone and then send him on missions alone like he was at that age, but he makes him learn hand to hand combat and hang out with maki, toge and panda because no kid deserves to go through something that traumatic and scary and be alone.

and then, in shibuya, gojo gets sealed in a box, alone.

seeing the writers refer to miguel as an “animal” has bothered me much more than it should am i about to ramble? oh yes i am. feel free to read my rambling 😾

like.. sure he may act like one, but he’s human, too!

i think i would be pretty feral a human if my family was taken away from me. (he needs therapy) i really hope in btsv they explore more of his character, maybe delve into his past, and more context on his variants, because we know he probably has multiple variants, just like every other spider. i like the idea of seeing the other variants of the other spider’s too! i would like to see how gwen’s or margo’s alternate self, as i am really fond of their character/character design.

also.. i remember seeing a frame it something of miguel’s black and white n grey suit or something like that, so maybe .. that will get a cameo or feature in the next movie? who knows. i wouldn’t be surprised if they needed another movie after btsv. i just truly hope we get more miguel, and something tells me we will, just because the community responded mostly so positive to him! i am not just a hopeless romantic who is crushing on a fictional character, i really admire miguel as a character in whole, if that makes sense. i like picking him apart, seeing what makes him tick.. he is just someone you can really deeply analyze.

Yuji's immense Potential to beat Sukuna

i noticed something within reading the manga, and the most recent chapter just gave me confirmation that my theory might actually be true.

JJK SPOILER WARNING CH238!

so, let's start off with the cover of chapter one. gege drew the marks from sukuna on megumi's frog, forshadowing that sukuna will take over megumi.

but we also see those 4 arms around yuji.. no doubt, those are sukuna's arms, as it was already mentioned by gojo in the beginning that sukuna has 4 arms. but keep the appereance, especially the nails, in mind..

as gojo assumes here, yuji is a one in a million people who can be a vessel for sukuna, even better that yuji manages to control sukuna. but.. what about megumi? appereantly there are two persons in a thousand years that are able to maintain sukuna? i don't think so, or it, that must be a really big coincidence.

we already know that kenjaku's probarbly the reason why yuji is so strong, yet we don't know if kenjaku created yuji on purpose for a cage for sukuna. probarbly not, since gege once mentioned that kenjaku just did it for fun!

(kenjaku was going up and down so yuji could go left and right lmao)

so? notice something? remember the nails from sukuna's arms on the cover from the first chapter? i wonder where these long black nails did come from..

i also think it's really interesting how the hand with the nails is grabbing sukuna's neck, indicating that because of yuji he grew some black long stilettos lmaoo xD

i'd like to think that sukuna is somehow "borrowing" yuji's strength, as we see here beautifully illustrated: sukuna whips off the curse with the hand with the long nails, not the other.

and also, the interesting thing is that as soon as sukuna gains full control over yuji's body and uses his own technique, the black nails are GONE.

and as we see, as soon as sukuna isn't trapped in yuji's body no more, the black nails also never showed up anymore. even as sukuna reaches his original form, the black nails aren't there..

I love how earnestly pathetic China Sorrows is when it comes to having a crush. Girlie has zero communication skills. The guy broke up with her and the natural consequence for her was to murder him and his entire family but then he CAME BACK and she doomed herself to years and years of awkward interactions, so she got a literal self destruct button in case he gets confrontational. In the first scene in which she interacts with him in the series she tries to flirt with him and it doesn't work the slightest bit and this is apparently a regular occurrence. They have a big falling out and instead of making it up in some big dramatic way he just hits her up with a text like "hi hello I kinda hate you but you're useful, come back". She thinks she's going to die a dramatic death fighting side by side with him and he'll at least tell her he needs her and he DOES but he just needs her because she can help him save his best friend. She has wet dreams about a man 300 years after he broke up with her. The entire time there's thousands of other people of all genders throwing themselves at her feet. She's doing all this because of a man who has an entire room in his house dedicated to his hat collection and whose social skills consist of either calling people ugly or straight up threatening to shoot them because he's book smart but a dumb fuck in conversation. Truly the woman of all time.

Can we talk about how Miguel had the same goal like Kingpin.

Headcanon that all spider people get what’s called the “Spider-Zoomies” (which is a sudden burst of energy but it’s expressed through Spider-like behavior) except for Miguel because he didn’t get bitten, so every time he makes the mistake of going to HQ in the middle of the night, he gets jump scared by at least one Spider-Man:

Scuttling across the ceiling (Pavitr)

Hissing into the void (Miles)

Bench pressing a building (Peter B)

Jumping fifty feet into the air without warning (Margo)

Building some intricate contraption in complete darkness (Hobie, emphasis on trap)

Running extremely fast without making a sound so you don’t know they’re there until it’s too late (wtf Mayday)

Or crouching into a corner, completely still like a predator watching its prey, and the moment he gets close to them, they whisper “Hey” making him scream so loud that he throws his empanadas in their face (Gwen)

It’s essentially like you’re walking through a building full of eldritch horrors, and you don’t know where any of them are, but they all know exactly where you are, and they win bonus points if they scare the shit out of you. Miguel hates it here.
