THE jester just, looked at the masked Imp, head tilting from left, to right back to left, bells making a sound at each movement. Having a brew raised, they're not sure what to make of him. Usually, Fizz is good at reading people - not exactly an option with a hidden face.

So who knows if he was truthful or not.

A huff, the jester rolled their shoulder back, giving the ends of their hat a light touch as they did so.

Lifting his heavy head, Vick tilted it from side to side slowly to reacquaint it with his neck. The pain was something he was used to, but the crack on his screen growing worse made it hard for him to see through one eye. Closing it, he glanced out at the alleyway, holding the swell of his stomach in his hand.

His shirt was soaked through with glowing, dark blue fluid, and his hand was doing little to hold it back. He was going to need to patch this up.

At least he was used to that.

Stumbling to the head of the alley, he glanced up at the nearby street sign. He was far from home, but not from the office, at least. He could go back there and dig into his first aid kit if he could just get to it. Without his wallet or phone, he couldn't really call for anyone...

When he saw someone coming down the street, he backed up a little, though he was aware he'd caught their attention.

"It's fine. Nothing I haven't dealt with before." He managed, his speakers crackling with the effort it took to speak. Maybe he wasn't so fine.
