Once upon a time, I begged @lukas6246 to give me his phone so that I could make some additions to a piece of art he was making at the moment.

After quite a bit of pestering, he reluctantly handed me the phone.

This, my friends, was the result:

Lukas keeps saying that I have issues, but I have no idea what he's talking about. I have no regrets whatsoever, this is my magnum opus. I will never live up to this level of perfection again

Another snapshot you can blame on @thescribblings and our excessive conversations about what happens when a semi-feral peepaw and a semi-feral dinosaur parrot meet and make a connection.

Be careful when offering chin scritches to a giant, sleep-deprived turtle mutant twice your size and several times your weight.

It's been three hours, according to his phone. His legs are asleep, his hand is tired, and he's pretty sure he's now seen 37% of all of the content ever posted on Reddit. Mikey brought him a drink about an hour ago, along with a wink and a quip about staying hydrated, which earned the little turtle a playful rolling of eyes.

And still Leon is draped half across Eshra's lap, rumbling away, his whole shell vibrating from the strength of it. A couple of times, Eshra has tried to stop scritching the slider's chin and jaw to give his fingers a break, only for Leon to crack open one eye and voice an annoyed chuff, making the yokai chuckle and indulgently resume.

Finally, half an hour later when Eshra is deeply immersed in yet another entirely believable story about somebody's family drama -- twins, why is it always twins? -- he realizes the rumbling has stopped. He looks down in some surprise, then smiles gently when he sees the slow, even rise and fall of Leon's carapace. At last. The big mutant has been having some rough nights, so it's a relief to see him properly asleep. Eshra strokes his head a few times, earning himself a sleepy noise he hopes is of contentment, before finally letting his hand drop onto Leon's upper carapace, his feathers spread out over his friend's shell like a protective blanket. He shifts just enough to start feeling some tingling in his legs, wiggles his toes, and goes back to the tale of the lady who had twins with her brother-in-law and wants to know if she's really the asshole here, or if her own twin sister is just overreacting.

A familiar footstep makes his crest twitch, much like how a cat might flick an ear when its attention is caught, and he glances up just enough to catch sight of Leo from the corner of his eye. The young slider is watching his older self… brother… whatever -- Eshra is still getting used to… this whole situation -- with an expression of gentle concern.

Eshra takes this exceedingly rare opportunity to study Leo's face; usually they're too busy snarking and sniping at each other behind Leonardo's back. The kid's older than his years. All of the brothers are, but Leo wears it differently. More heavily. It breaks Eshra's heart, while at the same time making that old, familiar rage against the krang spark and threaten to catch fire. He swallows it down, forces it back, and instead adopts a gentle smile. He doesn't speak, simply lifts the arm he has draped over Leon's back in invitation. Little Leo doesn't say anything either, doesn't even look at the yokai… but he does accept, almost without hesitation, crawling up to sprawl over his adopted older brother's carapace.

Eshra waits for him to settle, then delicately brings his hand to rest on that blue-bandana'd head. He can feel Leo tense under his fingers, but that all melts away when Eshra starts to scritch and pet, and although neither of them will ever mention it, the feathered yokai is pretty damn sure he hears the quietest churring starting up. He swallows a triumphant grin.

MY BOY!

With some freshly designed mission gear ,^,

So, i did rush this towards the end, lol. Got bored with it.

But i wanted to go for something similar to his resistance leader:tm: gear, but with my own design!

Oh, and i designed his new prosthetic while i was at it, it's a start :]

I'm rather happy with it! But i do still have a lot of brainstorming to do about how exactly it works. Hopefully, I'll have some mental energy to do that soon, lmao

I lost motivation to finish this after the second outfit

then @so-called-yokai 's oc Eshra held a gun to my head and said, "Dress him."

So i dressed him :]

Behold; my questionable taste in fashion!

It was supposed to be four outfits loosely inspired by the turtles, but i completely lost motivation to do raph's one :,]

(I blame so-called-yokai for the third one, giving me fashion ideas for peepaw)

I know my clothes drawing skills aren't the best, so it's not perfect, lol. Just part of the journey I'm on

Work wear, of course. cause that's definitely one of my favorite kinds of clothes, ngl

You can blame so-called-yokai for the sheer croptop and skinny jeans since they didn't stop me when i brought up the ideas, lol

This was the original one! I decided to try dressing him up and had future mikey floating around my brain, then i decided to try making more, and uhh, here we are :p

And of course, i just had to try to draw so-called-yokai's oc Eshra! Gave him a matching colour scheme while i was at it, lol

I 100% recommend checking their writing out! They're really skilled, and we have recently teamed up to make a crossover AU! 'Semi-Feral Polaroids'! They're writing these adorable snippets about my nardo, leo, and their oc!

Long post ahead! I type a lot .^.

Here's a lil something I've spent some time on! I'm definitely nearing my goal of being able to draw comics! .^.

However, keep in mind that I'm very much an amateur artist, so there will be imperfections😅.

Here, I've drawn a lot of new (and scary) poses, expressions, perspectives, and clothes! I never draw clothes! I've also never even tried to draw them in the same clothes from different perspectives like this before. I also mainly draw without references

And i know i know, it's always better with references but i always just get distracted while looking for a good reference and most of the time i give up before i even find one and just draw it without anyways, lol

Rant over now! Promise

Here's a page I've been working on non-stop for literal days. It was a lot of fun! And it helped me try out a new art style :]

Individual pictures and context under the cut! i will be referring to future leo as nardo or leonardo, and present leo as, well, leo!

Here we have the doodle that started it all! I did use a cat as a reference, and i personally found that hilarious

Anyways, leonardo is being held like the cat that he is. Meanwhile, leo is held next to him vibing, not a thought behind those eyes

✨️co-existing✨️(with iced coffee)

They decided to have a day of leo to leo Bonding and got iced coffee for the occasion, probably spending some time clothes shopping and going equally crazy over a random article of clothing with a unicorn on it

This one has a bit more story behind it, they went on a day outing with the fam, nardo had grabbed a map of the city and they decided to stray from the group to explore, and they quickly got lost.

Leonardo helped leo get on his shoulders to see if there were any familiar landmarks around, and while leo enjoyed being roughly 12 feet tall, nardo texted the others asking where they were and looked around the area.

Entirely lost, leonardo decided to ask a pair of yokai ladies for directions. They turned out to be extremely helpful, one of them pointing out where on the map they were and where the landmark raph had sent them is.

Meanwhile, some backstory here: ever since leonardo had stopped staying in the lair 24/7 and actually started coming with when the others went out, leo had become an expert at keeping flirtatious yokai of all shapes sizes and genders away from his eldest brother

Leo noticed one of the yokai women was trying to make a move on him and stepped between her and nardo, making for a hilarious scene when he told her to stay away from his clearly adult brother

Leonardo is entirely oblivious as to the amount of yokai that find him attractive, which is exactly how leo wants it to be, for some reason

It's even funnier with the fact that leonardo is, in fact, very gay.

They thanked the yokai (leo doing that gesture where you point at your eyes then at the person as an unspoken "i got my eyes on you" behind nardo's back) then stepped away from the crowd and planned when and where everyone would meet up (they quickly decided on a food spot that accommodated everyones needs, and they had often gone there for lunch or early dinner in the past)

While they waited, the two decided to browse some stores, window shop etc.

Leonardo bought himself a backpack and proceeded to purchase knickknacks, snacks, and gifts for the fam, including some that he snuck in there for leo without the teen noticing (he was the greatest ninja the world had ever seen, once, after all)

While nardo walked, leo was chatting away happily on his shoulders, the elders tail wagging along as well, especially when leo told a pun or two, once a leo, always a leo. (Leonardo chipped in with some puns as well)

(leonardo personally believes his tail is pretty damn useless since it's so short. He has stated, "The only thing it's good for is waggin' " in the past. However, the rest of the fam think that's a perfectly adequate reason to have a tail)

They spent the entire day out having fun and walked around with just a handfull of breaks, so i think it's safe to say they'd be pretty drained by the time they got home

On another note, nardo being a war veteran and all that, I'm not 100% sure how that works but i like to imagine he'd get rather overwhelmed by all the crowds, different smells and loud noises (in other words overstimulation) so i think he'd be WAY more drained than everyone else by the end of the day (save for maybe mikey, i bet he'd be pretty drained too)

Either way, nardo basically just flopped onto the nearest plush surface and went out like a light while everyone else went to bed like regular people. This is a common occurrence after long, exhausting days

But sometimes...
