God help us: the live action last airbender has actually got people thinking Azula was a complete victim and not a complicated villain character.
#seeing live action actually have ozai praise zuko a lil and be critical of azula and such already feels like they missed the point#of the fucked up family situation in animated verse#ozai literally in comics told zuko he was lucky to be born while azula was born lucky#and basically praised and encouraged azula in her fucked up path because he had the powerful young prodigy he wanted#as he could mould her then to be what he wanted and such#like people saying live action is just having him have the siblings compete against each other dont understand that uh#animated ozai already did that in his own way#from young ages he favored azula over zuko to the point zuko did what he could to have his father's praise and such#plus these people really forgetting that azula despite all her issues and shit still was a fucked up person in the end#and using the comics dont help#as in recent comics azula has still been rejecting redemption arcs when they offered to her
