So I just saw a comic and a kid whose horns just grew in and she was headbutting her parents' leg before having tennis balls put on the nubs.

So I just imagined little Meri doing that to Clef when her antlers started to grow in. But let's be honest, Clef would probably put tennis balls on her growing antlers anyways and say that it's to keep her from hurting herself or others but in reality he probably thought it would be funny
