Top 5 Sçk funniest moments :D
My apologies for taking forever to answer this. Since I used Eda & Serkan jumping in the pool and Drunk Serkan on my favorite moments list, I won't include them here, even though they'd both be at the top of any funny moment list. Once again, ask me tomorrow and get a different answer.
Serkan vs his car - Episode 1 - There are so many hilarious, laugh out loud moments in the first episode, it was hard to narrow it down. Serkan rolling down the window as Eda is vandalizing his car, Eda hitting the gas pedal and peeling out as Serkan tries to give her a remedial driving lesson for his high performance vehicle, tomatoes flying through the air as Eda tries to eat one-handed at the business meeting, Engin bringing an army of people to try and get them out of the cuffs, Eda finding that Serkan is her passenger on the private plane, Serkan introducing Eda as his fiancé to Selin and Ferit on the beach, the list goes on. However, I'm going to go with handcuffed Edser getting in the car, and specifically Serkan.
Tumblr media
The physical comedy here is perfection. It starts with Serkan realizing that their cuffs mean he can't drive. With, literally, one-hand tied, Serkan attempts to maneuver himself over the driver's seat of his compact sports car. It gets better and better, with the windshield wipers going crazy and Serkan's feet hitting the windshield, until he's finally settled in his seat.  The crowning moment, however, is when our Eda, elegantly settled into the driver's seat, gets the better of him by calmly retracting the convertible roof. It's absolute gold when arrogant Serkan realizes he could have done that in the first place and saved a bit of his dignity. This was pretty much the road map for how their relationship was going to go. One person creates drama, while the other calmly stands back and waits for them to finish.
Drain the pool - Episode 4
Isn't this everyone's favorite? It's hilarious at face value, but it's also meaningful because it was the first time we got to see Serkan get (irrationally) jealous. Which means it was one of the first real signs that Serkan had caught real and serious feels for his fake fiancé.
Tumblr media
For the laugh out loud part, Kerem and Alican were terrific. Seyfi's: "I thought you wouldn't ask." when Serkan tells him to sit down is forever one of my favorite moments. Then we get to see Serkan trying to work, him fidgeting as he picks up and sets down a book, and then finally his attempt to end the lesson only moments after it began.
We already knew that things were starting to get real for Serkan in episode 3 when he got so angry and tried to freeze her out from touching his heart/soul, but this, this cemented it.  Because there wasn't any reason in the world for him to be jealous. The swim instructor was hired by Serkan. Eda was actually visibly disappointed that Serkan wasn't going to "teach" her to swim himself, so it wasn't like she rejected him for the guy. Eda invited him into the pool. The instructor wasn't hideous, I guess, but he also wasn't someone who would turn Eda's head. He also didn't flirt at all, like he knew Serkan hired him, he knew this was Serkan's fiancé and he knew Serkan was watching. It was all above board. But yet, Serkan, lost. his. damn. mind. If Serkan could lose it to the tune of trying to end the lesson and ordering Seyfi to drain the pool in this scenario it was a sure sign that he was way further gone than even he realized. Bonus Serkan's reaction to seeing Eda in her very cute, but also modest swimsuit. I mean it almost showed less skin than what she wears to work! Good times.
Mountain Pervert - Episode 9
It's hard to quantify how much I love everything about their handcuff honeymoon at the Mountain House. The episode has it all, Eda's hypocritical tantrum about him handcuffing her, the sexual tension in the rain, Serkan doing everything in his power to get back in her good graces except the one, very easy thing that would have done it (a simple apology), Eda's joke about the world-renown architect who has a leaky roof (but seriously, Serkan, get a crew in there), not that I complain about the romantic bed-sharing that leaky roof led to, and of course the mountain pervert.
Tumblr media
Throughout the entire episode, Serkan was working every angle (except the easiest and most obvious) to get her to forgive him, so it was a little contrived that he got mad enough to take off on her, but I'll overlook it since it set up this hilarious scene. Obviously, once he left, he had to come back. We knew that, but apparently Eda didn't. How fortuitous for the visuals and our funny bones that Eda just happened to get soaking wet and just happened not to have any clothes there, so she just happened to be covered only by a flimsy bit of terry cloth wound around her nubile body.  I suppose it's a fitting punishment, though, for him having stalked off, that she impaired his vision to the point he wasn't actually able to have his mind blown by a mostly naked Eda. I have no idea what she sprayed him with, if it was an actual defense spray like mace, or something like hairspray, but in any case it would have stung. His comically pained reaction to whatever she sprayed into his eyes is wonderful. Great physical comedy from both Hande and Kerem. Serkan milking the situation to get Eda to continue to tend to his injuries was the icing on the cake.  Hamile - Episode 17
How good was Serkan mistakenly thinking Eda was pregnant with their child? I could do an entire post choosing the top 5 comedy moments just from this episode. Serkan's every interaction with mini-Serkan was delightful. Having no idea what food could fit in mini-Serkan's tiny mouth and down his tiny throat was hilarious, and showed exactly how inexperienced this highly educated man is when it comes to babies. Loved him giving the history of architecture and deciding mini-Serkan would be a businessman like him.
His constant glances at her tummy region and insisting she eat healthier, both warmed my heart and tickled me. As did Ayfer and Aydan watching them through the window as they embodied the picture perfect young family, meanwhile our favorite broken-up couple had no idea why the mothers couldn't stop staring at them.
Tumblr media
However, if I have to pick one, the funniest moment was how it all began when Serkan, at a client's home, mistakes the client's pregnancy test for Eda's. The emotional journey that Serkan takes in the space of about 30 seconds results in a parade of exaggerated facial contortions and is a delight to behold. Kerem kills every second of it. Is there anyone better than Kerem at the incredulous: "NE!!!!!!!!!!!"  No, no there is not. He is king.
To woo or not to woo - Episode 27
I don't think Chef Alexander has brought all that much to the show but all is forgiven because he was the catalyst for one of the funniest scenes in the series.
Tumblr media
His bumbling entrance into Serkan and Eda's engagement ceremony brought a whole new level of comic relief, we'll ignore that the man would have to be a dipshit to not understand how he could be misunderstood (on second thought, ChefA might be just that kind of dipshit) with the talk of wooing and making an offer.
Lots of amazing things crammed into this sequence. Aydan's never dimming rivalry with Ayfer, Serkan speaking English to get Chef to move it along, Ayfer telling him to make the offer to her mother, Eda insisting that it needs to go to her, Alex's request for Ayfer to come to him 2 nights a week, Serkan's disbelief (Kerem's adlib) that this was even an option, Eda threatening to hit him with the flowers and Aydan wondering if the rest of his nights were free (Neslihan's adlib). But the best part might be Ferit cracking up in the background. The whole scene is just pure joy.
You know, after putting this together, I didn’t realize how much I appreciate Kerem’s comedic chops. He’s talented.

Someone started this a while ago. I don’t remember who  (let me know), but I want to do the same thing.
SCK: Special mention goes to the “Credtrap” soundtrack but my favourite would be “Excite”.
STFD: There are so many good songs in this game, especially since I love jazz. It’s hard to choose one. But...“Extday”
MSM: Another good soundtrack but my favourite is easily “Chinese”
TRT: “Warm” hands down. It’s another game whose entire soundtrack I love, but I have to pick “Warm”.

SSH: “Scribe”
DOG: “Malone”
CAR: “Daryl”
DDI: “Siren”
SHA: “Dirk” but it’s a close tie with “Desert”
CUR: “Memoirs”

VEN: “Pigeon”
HAU: “Fiona” and “Grand” I refuse to choose between them

I was tagged by @mrsgreenworld to list 5 TV shows that make me feel better, then tag 10 other blogs. Thank you, canım, but how do I pick!?  Ok, some of my forever favs: #1 - For obvious reasons: Sen Çal Kapımı. SCK might just be what saved 2020 for me. It’s got the drama, the comedy, the fluff, not enough of the thirst imo, the suspense, insanely good writing, rudely good-looking people, it’s the whole package. #2 - Anne with an E: This show is so wholesome and gives me the warm and fuzzies everytime I watch whatever episode. It’s a shame it got cancelled so early. #3 - The Great British Bake Off: Food and dry af humor, I don’t need no more.  #4 - die Maus: It’s a German’s children’s series me and my brother used to watch religiously when we were little. It always makes me think of those Sunday mornings when we’d sit in front of the TV in our PJs patiently waiting for the show to start. 25ish yrs later Sunday morning are still die Maus mornings, some things just don’t change.
#5 - One Tree Hill: Nathan and Haley > Brooke > a whole lot of nothing > Lucas and Peyton. I will die on this hill.  I’m not tagging anyone this time, so whoever wants to do this go for it!

I am angry for what they did to Thor since Ragnarok who is this Thor that don't give a single crap about Loki? I don't know this guy! Also it feels (sorry if this part is a reach) that Clint surviving and not Nat is cause "he has a family" every life has value idc if he has a family Nat should've survived and this will never be okay to me, endgame was a mess all what i got from clint scene was "but he has a family" oh man screw this! This scks Loki and Nat r my favs... And they were mistreated!
endgame!Thor?? i don’t know her
and you definitely aren’t reaching about nat’s treatment in endgame. there’s a fantastic post about how endgame promotes romantic love over platonic love (if I find it I’ll update this post), and it mentioned how Natasha’s platonic love for her coworkers (her family, actually) was sidelined for clint.

#cluecrewquestionnaire
Questionnaire made by @detectively
rules: copy and paste, answer the questions, tag 10 mutuals to do the same!
1. What is your favorite Nancy Drew game and why?
My all-time fav would probably be Shadow Ranch, it takes place in my home state (so all the inaccuracies are especially hilarious, like everyone having a southern accent and 89 degrees being "hot") My other favorites are FIN, SAW, ASH, and DED.
2. Have you played all 32 games in the series? If not, which ones haven’t you played? If yes, which one did you play first?
Yes! My first one was MHM in 2001, followed immediately by FIN.
3. What is your favorite line from any character in the series?
Either something from Eustacia "You-are-not-dead-yet?" Andropov or Alexei in ASH after you say, "Not all politicians are corrupt," he goes, "Where's your youthful cynicism? Yes, all politicians." Or something like that. :P
Nancy's sass is especially strong in FIN, so those are all contenders as well.
4. If you could change the ending to any game, which one would it be (no spoilers, though)?
Eh, I always thought the ending to DAN was pretty goofy and unrealistic, but I don't necessarily have ideas off the top of my head.
5. Which game is your least favorite, and why?
SCK. Very unappealing locations/aesthetic. Kinda boring characters and plot. Also RAN because the puzzles just. Never. Stopped. Also, going back and forth fetching driftwood for a spoiled bird is not my ideal gameplay. The monkey activities got pretty old too if you're trying to get all the trophies and had to play infinite games until you die. :P
6. Which character is your favorite? Why?
I have a few, but Ryan Kilpatrick from Deadly Device is a big favorite. I can relate to her addiction to gummy candy and I like her cool charts and motorcycle :P Also, maybe Jenna Dublin. Her personality seems really chill. Plus she gives me free souppp.
7. Which character is your least favorite? Why?
Takae and Renate only for the simple fact that conversation takes EIGHT MILLION YEARS to get through because of their monologues. Also Lily because she is so bossy and entitled, she really rubs me the wrong way.
8. How do you feel about the whole Nancy/Ned vs. Nancy/Frank situation? Do you ship her with someone else? Who, and why?
I don't really ship Nancy with anybody. Nancy/Ned is cool, Nancy/Frank is cool too (I can be a sucker for the agony of unrequited love so maybe Nancy/Frank is something I could get into? Why do I like sad things lol)
9. Do you have any fun headcanons about any of the games or characters?
Some from SHA, but I won't share them here because they're going into my fanfiction I'm writing!
10. If you could visit any of the locations of the games, which ones would they be and why?
The Ryokan Hiei, River Heights in ASH (I am always a slut for Nancy's beautiful house), Shadow Ranch (Dry Creek, Cougar Bend, and Cliff dwellings?? Sign me tf up), Thornton Hall, and Blackmoor Manor (that conservatory!!!)
11. Did you read any of the original Nancy Drew books? If yes, do you like them? If no, would you consider reading one?
I haven't! I would like to read some, but I'm not sure where to start, there are so many of them. Would love recommendations.
12. What is one thing any good detective can’t live without?
Either a camera to take pictures when you're snooping/trespassing and can’t take things with you, or a notepad.
13. Which game had the best soundtrack?
Hands down, it's between HAU and SHA. The Irish-themed music in HAU makes me melt, and I love the ethereal guitar pieces in SHA because they're so befitting of the desert.
14. What is one thing you wish HER would’ve included in any of the games (a conversation, interaction, location, feature, etc)?
I haven't thought about it too much, actually.
15. Do you have any ideas for a future game? What is it?
Not really, maybe something with more of a Whodunit aspect like in the older games.
16. How long does it take you to finish a game from start to finish?
It really depends. A few hours, sometimes I'll drag it out for days if I'm trying to savor the gameplay :P
17. Did any of the games scare you? If yes, which ones? If no, why?
SAW was spooky, and so was GTH and CUR. The ghosts and the nightmare sequence definitely added to the feeling.
18. Why did you join the Nancy Drew fandom here on tumblr?
There are so many hilarious jokes and I like seeing all the URLs that are just inside references to the games. ND stuff doesn't fit on my main blog so I decided to make a ND themed blog! I have a lot to say about ND, and sooo many aesthetic post ideas.
19. What is your favorite Nancy Drew joke (from in-game or even floating around the internet)?
I haven't been in the tumblr fandom for too long so I don't have one yet!
20. Who is someone in the clue crew you’ve always wanted to get to know?
Again, I'm too new to the tumblr fandom but I'm looking to make friends :)
21. What are three unpopular opinions you hold about the games?
--I think DDI is a bit overrated. *ducks to avoid flying projectiles* I liked it, but the gloomy seaside aesthetic is so depressing to me. I don't like the ocean, beaches, or perpetually gray skies. Sand? Salt? Cold wind? Boats? Seasickness? No thanks. --The type or amount of puzzles in a game rarely affects my opinion of it (aside from RAN). I usually rate the games by the plot and the atmosphere. --I can’t stand Loulou or Coucou, those birds get insta-muted whenever I play CUR or RAN.
22. Do you have any fun theories about any of the games?
Not off the top of my head! May edit some in later if I think of them.
23. Who was your favorite animal character featured in the games?
Good Ole' Bob from SHA.
24. Do other people in your life know about your love for Nancy Drew?
My husband and two close friends. I usually keep it to myself :P
25. How long have you been playing these games?
Since 2001 when I was a wee child! My friend had MHM and FIN and when he started playing MHM he got so scared that he couldn’t finish it and passed it over to me to try and I was completely hooked.
I don’t have anyone to tag but feel free to fill out!

SCK/EDSER asks
My inbox was full again, so questions under the cut. Some of these are from today and some are from earlier.
(asks under the read more)
Anonymous said: Random things that amuse me: 1. When they met, Serkan didn’t seem all that mad that Eda keyed his car but was way more angered by her disdain for him. 2. I always forget about Eda’s ex because I think Eda forgot about him too. Cenk cheated on her and brought his new gf to break up with her, and Eda was more peeved that he implied Serkan was out of her league. (1/2)
The only time he’s brought up again is when Eda pretends to be texting him instead of Serkan (because Ayfer would be madder at her talking to Serkan lol). 3. Whenever Melo is supposed to be mad at Serkan in solidarity with Eda, she just cannot bring herself to dislike him. (2/2)
I LOVE THIS ASK!
1. I have always wondered about that. Even current, softer Serkan would get PISSED at someone keying his car. He keeps all of his things pristine. You know under normal circumstances he would be infuriated by that and not let it go. The car would have had to go to the body shop and everything.  I think the fact that he didn’t seem all that bothered, other than threatening to call the police of course, is that he was just so gobsmacked by this insanely beautiful, but also beautifully insane, lady yelling at him and handcuffing him that he couldn’t think straight. The fact that she had seriously vandalized his car became inconsequential.
Additionally, I think when he found out ArtLife had cancelled her scholarship, he became embarrassed and didn’t want to make any more of an issue about it.
2. I forget about him too. What a tool he was. It also seems a bit out of character for Eda now.  All of her friends and her aunt knew that he was ghosting her, and they made it clear they thought it by their reactions, but Eda didn’t get it? Eda was ready to marry a dude she hadn’t seen for a year? That does not sound like the Eda we know. Independent, fiery Eda? It’s true that she’s grown a lot, but that much? It seems like they designed that relationship to put Eda in the right frame of mind to kiss Serkan on the podium and then, thankfully, forgot about it.
3. Yes, Melo is all of us. In the early episodes especially, Serkan could be a real jerk, but I know I never held it against him for long, just like Melo.  None of us can resist him, I’m sure we were all cheering her on when she was the one to give up Eda’s Saturday morning location.  And I love it when she calls him enişte. It’s also sweet that he’s fond of her as well.
Anonymous said: What are your thoughts about Engin and Piril? Sometimes I think they are cute and sometime I just don't think they are meant for each other. I hope Piril's father brings a new story and dynamic that will help us see whether they work as a couple or not.
My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours. In the beginning I really thought they were pretty flat and wasn’t really rooting for them.  Partly because I loved Engin’s character and I was pretty “eh” on Piril. She was so laser focused on work that I didn’t like when she would try and guilt Serkan because he was spending time with Eda. I found that annoying and I thought Engin could have a more interesting relationship (like Melo!).
Alas, that wasn’t to be, however I surprised myself by actually cheering when he proposed, and I really liked their heart to heart talk in the NY episode. On the other hand I wasn’t really charmed by their disconnect when it came to entertaining people. They were SO FAR apart.  Piril was so uptight and Engin so lacksodasical, I think they’ll end up driving each other bonkers and it’s hard to see how that will work, and I’m not sure it’s something I want to watch all that much of.
Same as you, I’m hope that Piril’s father turns out to be interesting. What’s going on there? Will we find out this episode?
Also, honestly, I’m still pressed they didn’t call Serkan to come to the wedding. (But I assume that had more to do with how quickly they shoot and needing to have scenes without Hande and Kerem in them. H/K were in tons of scenes that episode so it was probably tight with scheduling and they were doing A and B units etc.)
Anonymous said:  Hi Liza, I hope you are well and you and your loved ones are staying safe. SCK really helped make 2020 better and I'm glad we have the show in 2021 too! Sometimes the letter count in these asks really get to me because I feel like I have so much more to say and ask but oh well. In this ask i just want to say I hope Seyfi and Melo both get their very own happily ever afters. They're my favs and totally deserve it. Leyla too! That actress is so pretty, I wish we got to see her dress up more!
Hello! I’m well, thank you for asking.  I’m not even joking when I saw that SCK was a highlight of 2020 for me. I’m so appreciative for the happy and joyous distraction it’s been over the last few months.
I LOVE MELO AND SEYFI.  They are two of my favorite supporting characters, and two of the only ones that have stayed at the top since the beginning. Now Aydan is up there with them, but she wasn’t in the beginning, lol!
Those two deserve all good things. Leyla is also a great character and I wonder what her feelings are towards Erdem. Does she really like him?
Anyway, I’m not sure what they might be planning for any of them, but I can tell you I’m more interested in how they might end up, than I am with Ceren, Ferit, Fifi, or Piril.
Anonymous said: This ask may not be worth answering but I've always wondered about Eda's family on her mom's side. I don't think they've ever mentioned it on the show and if they have I may have missed it but it's interesting. It's most likely that her grandparents died and her mom didn't have any siblings but it would be really cool if she did have a family member who understood her and supported her and Serkan unlike Ayfer.
It would be interesting to know, you’d think she would have some relatives on her mom’s side.  We’ll have to see if the show ever mentions it.
Anonymous said: Ok it may be the overthinker in me but unlike everyone else I'm actually worried seeing Serkan wear his engagement ring. If he and Eda reconciled and he knows the truth about her grandma threatening her, wouldn't their game plan be keeping their relationship a secret and not flaunting his ring. But then that's what the fans want, and maybe the writers have a different idea. I'm freaking out with worry that maybe Serkan and Bulca got engaged! But then it looks like his original ring! let's see!
Anonymous said: I'm the one who feared the engagement ring in a previous ask. Well today's pics/videos that show Serkan, Aydan and Seyfi at Eda's home with flowers seem like they are asking for her hand in marriage. It's an assumption but I feel much better. Lol!
See, this is why I always say not to borrow trouble by worrying about the disaster scenario.  Why would he ask Balca to marry him the day after he sexed up Eda? Even if they were hiding it and using Balca for subterfuge, why would they need to go all the way to engaged to do that?
I’m glad you’re feeling better. I agree that the video posted today with them all at Eda’s house with the flower and the chocolate looks very much like they’re doing the traditional asking for her hand for serious this time!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Can’t wait to see them with their rings back on, we’ve been waiting so long.
Also, I have no idea why they are able to get away with this... maybe Eda found something while investigating that neutralized Babaanne?  At least for the moment?
Anonymous said: Sometimes I hate being the audience, we know things that the characters don't and I want to yell at my tablet screen. I don't though because I don't want to confirm my parents thoughts that I am crazy, lol! Anyway I wanted to say that I appreciate you and the SCK community because none of my friends watch the show and I'm glad I have people to discuss this with, otherwise I'd actually go crazy. Edser & Hanker & the cast and crew make me happy! They're just amazing and I'm thankful for them!
Me too!  I appreciate the cast and crew AND I appreciate the fandom. There are some very lovely people here, and I’m thrilled that I have you all to discuss the show and ship with because none of my friends or family in real life watch either.  I’ve told many people about it, and sometimes I will drop words or phrases in Turkish that I’ve picked up watching and all they do is roll their eyes at me.  (I enjoy that)
Also... talk back to that screen, I do. It’s fun. LOL.
Anonymous said: Thoughts on the fan theory that Eda & Serkan are actually already working together to bring her grandma down? Not sure that I really saw any clues throughout the episode that a scene of the two of them talking together was cut out but guess we could always get flashbacks to show it. I think for me that might make a little sense because how does Serkan not suspect that Grandma flat out made Eda breakup with him? He knows she wants them kept apart, he got arrested and then magically released which coincided with Eda staying away from him, entry of a prince interested in Eda and Eda being chummy with her Grandma 🧐. Or maybe he does suspect all of that but finally understands the risk that she poses to all of them so he agreed to end things? Very interested to see how the show gets us from that heartbreaking breakup to Serkan & Eda being jealous at the restaurant.
My apologies, I know this ask was sent before some of the recent spoilers including the second promo with the... uh... explosion. (sex) So at this point I do not think they are working together, the break up appears to be real. So it will be interesting how the first 2 hours of this episode plays out. I assume the sex will be in the last 15 minutes.
It looks like Serkan’s tact is to pretend he’s over her and moving on and let that drive her crazy. So I’d say that in order to do that, he has a pretty good idea why Eda broke up with him and knows it’s because of Babaanne and threats against him.
Anonymous said: Can I just say - I really dislike Ayfer. And I just realized that she has had like no growth at all in these 25 episodes. I guess she has an instagram business now? There is such a huge contrast between how they've developed her and Aydan, not only in how they view EdSer's relationship but on their own as well. Aydan is a new woman while Ayfer is still just a hater and a negative nancy about everything. You'd think they'd give her a better storyline with her mother in town but I don't see it
Since you sent this I’ve answered another ask about Ayfer here.  I very much agree with you.  She reacts negatively to everything, I’m not sure why the girls like to hang out with her so much, they have to hide everything and she is like a damp rag covering any bit of excitement.
On rewatching some of the early episodes, I have noticed that she was negative  from the beginning.  She was even annoying in her first second on screen, when she was waking Eda up to go help with the soil delivery. I hate that shrill voice she uses to say Günaydın over and over again.
You’re so right that she hasn’t had much if any growth.  Neither she nor Aydan were excited by the Eda/Serkan pairing from the beginning. Aydan was more vocal, but Ayfer was just as disapproving.  And frankly, even though between the two of them, Aydan might have seemed like the more formidable foe to the relationship, Ayfer actually always had more power.  Just because Serkan Bolat is going to do whatever he wants to do and he’s not going to be swayed by his mother’s disapproval, but as we’ve seen in episode 21 Eda is more susceptible to her aunt’s guilt and disapproval. Remember when she asked Eda if she could trust Serkan’s positive assessment of her work because he might lie if he has feelings for her!?! GRRRRRRRRR.
The other big difference is that once Aydan saw how absolutely heartbroken Serkan was, she completely changed her tune and became supportive of the relationship. Her son’s happiness mattered to her. While Ayfer sat there last week and watched her heartbroken niece and reacted with glee.  Eda’s happiness is apparently not important to Ayfer.
If indeed the Bolat’s have come to woo Eda, it will be interesting to see how Ayfer reacts.  Will she come around on her own or will Eda have to give her an ultimatum. I wouldn’t mind that, actually.  Give Ayfer a reality check on the way she’s been behaving, just as controlling as her mother.

The number of ppl mad at Eda/saying her character is ruined is wild, did they watch the same episode?? Eda HAD to end things because of the shit her grandma was pulling, like it wasn't small things she has serious connections, obviously Eda isn't gonna endanger serkan!! I really hope the people being irrational read your answers lol. The only thing that's bothering me about the episodes is that this is supposed to be a romantic comedy and I'm missing that (gotta be honest I fast forwarded thru the Alex ayfer aydan stuff lol) but hoping for some funny Edser stuff at least lol. Also THE PRINCE REALLY DO BE CRAZY lmao
This was also sent before some of the recent schedules. It looks to me like we’re are in for a bit of romance the next few episodes.
I’M SO EXCITED!!
Anonymous said: the prince is very specifically credited as a guest actor, so i think that maybe he'll only be here for 1 or 2 more episodes max. which makes me think that this arc at least with him directly involved won't last very long. i'm excited about the bombshell to be dropped though because as of right now neither eda or serkan know exactly what babaanne's plan for him is in regards to eda.. and not to mention his other creepy motives that have to do with his dead wife.
I haven’t seen him mentioned in any BTS stuff for 27... maybe he makes his exit is 26? We shall see.
Anonymous said:  while i understand where serkan was coming from in his decision to not tell eda the truth, it was coming from a purely selfish reason (even he says that) eda's decision is bc of a very real 3rd party threat that would have consequences for serkan's family, business, and his wellbeing. and eda has no time to prepare a plan or anything of the sort; she's basically backed into a corner. i really wonder why serkan is granted so much more understanding in the fandom than eda's character..
I don’t agree that Serkan was coming from a “purely selfish place.”  I don’t remember Serkan saying that and if he did, I’m sure it’s because he’s attributing all his motives to the one he’s most ashamed of feeling.  Because while there was something selfish in not wanting her to know the truth and not wanting her to think of her dead parents when she looked at him, I think it’s clear he was also trying to protect her from those thoughts. He was trying to protect her from the heartbreak of dredging up their deaths, protecting her from having to make the decision to leave him. It was a lot more complicated then just him being “purely selfish.” Remember he inflicted the greatest heartbreak on himself, you don’t do that for purely selfish reasons.
It would be nice if anytime something went wrong, there wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction to vilify one or the other characters.

I'm so glad you're watching Baht Oyunu. I'm loving it. The girl Ada is hilarious! And did you know that the main male lead is the brother of the actor who played Kaan in SCK? They look so much alike! I'm also loving Bas Belasi! Both the characters are intriguing and I'm liking the comedy aspect too! It's a unique show. I've checked out a few of the other summer shows but those two are probably my most fav. I like the concept of Cam tavanlar but the actual episodes didn't really excite me.
I’m still behind on Baht Oyunu, but I want to catch up. I agree on Ada, she’s funny and adorable. I had heard that those two actors were related, I saw some of Ismail’s wedding video with Aytec seeming to have the time of his life. Talented brothers! I haven’t watched a full episode of Bes Belasi yet, but it’s on my list. I heard about Cam Tavanlar’s cancellation, a shame for those fans, the concept sounded great, but superficially I just couldn’t get past the leading man’s looks and with limited time that turned out to be the dealbreaker.
Once SCK ends I’ll probably watch AMI, Bas Belasi and BO, but while SCK is airing all my fandom time is taken up with making content and answering asks :)

hi honey, im such a big fan of sck and this quote is my fav one i've heard so far (Yes, Mr Serkan is a difficult person, sometimes he can be harsh, and believe me, there are reasons for this. But when he's with you, I see a side that he's hidden from even himself for a long time..) im spanish so i watch all episodes with spanish sub so i would like to know which episode this quote belongs to or if you remember where they were or who said it, so i can find it in turkisk and put it on tw. thank u
It was Seyfi who said it to Eda in episode 4 when they were in the kitchen together, right before she started cooking!!!

Liza I'm in deep in this SCK hole. I'm the anon from last week who just started the show and I just finished ep12 (thanks pandemic...). THEY ARE SO CUTE WHAT THE HELL??? It helps that the episodes are 2 hrs so they have room to show them being all soft and domestic (god remember how much we all wished that for CS haha). I hate the secret about her family and I know it's going to come to blows but oh man I am enjoying Edser SO much. Also very obsessed with Eda's hair she's gorgeous.
Her hair is amazing, I love it. Hande is so insanely beautiful that sometimes she doesn’t seem real. However, as gorgeous as she is, if you ever watch any of their lives, she comes across as very sweet and down-to-earth. Cool combo.
Episode 12!  Çok romantik! One of my favorite episodes (probably one of everyone’s fav episodes) I’m so jealous of you experiencing it for the first time. Enjoy this time, because you’re right, the secret is going to cause a problem or two. But spoiler alert, even though it does, there is still cuteness in every episode, and every episode still has very romantic moments. It’s one of the things I love, these two are always drawn together no matter what.
The satisfying this about this show, as a shipper, is that the entire show is about the love story between Eda and Serkan, so you get all those scenes that are missing in other shows. We would have killed for multiple CS in the kitchen scenes, making dinner, feeding each other, flirting. That would have been grand.
