TGIWednesday: The most haunted city in Florida

I saw some bizarre random article about ghost tours and other shenanigans and almost fell over when I saw that the parking for "ghost tours" was at my old elementary school that I can see about 100 yards from my house. You can go on YouTube and type in "Clearwater Florida the most haunted city in Florida" and see it! I would have figured it was St. Augustine because that's really old and creepy, think conquistadors and Fountain of Youth. What's the point? There's good and bad all around us, yin and yang and we just have to roll with it and instead of hope. I like the word faith. Have faith that things can and will improve and turn out better than they were. Life is an ebb and flow like the daily tides of high and low and always subject to change. Know that your life can and will improve if you just ride out the waves!

MY DAILY PRAYER SUBSCRIBER

Hi Jimmy,

This was one of my prayer requests during the period 3/18 to 4/18/24:

“Prayers to be cleared from April 19, 2024, jury duty service and all future timelines going forward.”

In review, I received my first Grand Jury Summons the first week of January for jury service on February 16th. I immediately sent in paperwork from my optometrist noting that I could no longer drive in the dark due to impending cataract evaluation/surgery. (I would have had to leave the house by 6 am well before sunrise to arrive on time.) It was shot down because the optometrist was not considered a licensed physician.

Here’s the emailed response in part:

"The farthest day available we were able to postpone for Grand Jury is for 4/19/2024. Therefore, that is your new date of service. You will be receiving a new summons with the new information."

Guess what, Jimmy? I never received another new summons in the mail! I waited and waited for the summons to show up, but the prayer worked! I didn’t have to drive the 30 miles and possibly sit there all day and wait for my group to be selected Whew! The prayer must have been on steroids! How I slipped through the system, I guess we will never know; but thank you, Source, and thank you, Jimmy for launching my request out to the heavens!

HEARTBREAK ANTHEM | MASON MOUNT

No matter what happens, you will always find your way back to the person who is meant to hold your heart. That's just the way it works.

Warnings: mostly fluff, maybe angst at the beginning Words: 4,1K

december 2021

"It doesn't work like this, Mase," she said, her voice a little louder and more definite than usual.

"It's just that... I really don't know how to go on from here because I definitely can't do this anymore. It feels like we want different things in life at the moment, you know? It scares me that you didn't even recognize that something's just not right between the two of us." — "Well, you never told me until now. How am I supposed to know when something's not right for you if you don't feel the need to tell me right away? I'm not able to look inside of your head."

The two partners were facing each other. Even though she could feel his glance at her, Y/N just couldn't look him in the eye. She knew the truth would hurt him a lot but she couldn't ignore her feelings any longer.

"It's because you're never here, you understand? When was I supposed to tell you? I'm only seeing you before 7 at morning and after 11 at night — so when exactly should I've tried to talk to you? Please, tell me!" Y/N tried to calm herself down because she could already feel the tears in her eyes, even though she hadn't even really started yet.

"I know that this is how your job works, Mase. Of course you have to do a lot of training and stuff like that and of course there are a lot of matches during the season but I didn't think I'd never see you like ever. I just feel like you're home to eat and sleep and I'm just here while you're not, to clean everything up and make dinner. That's not what I want to do for the rest of my life and I think you know that. You promised me that you'd always be there for me, on happy days and even on the sad ones — but you're not. You left me alone when I was broken because I failed an important exam and you didn't even make it to my sisters 20th birthday party last week, even tho I told you the date four months earlier. To be honest, I just don't know what to do. I'm desperate because I don't want to loose you but I'm also not going to continue my life like this. To me, it feels like you're entirely focused on your career and I totally understand that but if that's the most important thing in your life at the moment, then maybe we should think about if this relationship even has a future or if it's just because we're too afraid to face the truth.”

There was a brooding silence between them and after a while Y/N decided to lift her head up finally looking into the eyes of the love of her life. But they weren't as happy as she remembered them. It didn't take her long to realize he had teary eyes, too. She almost forgot that Mason also was a really emotional person. The sight seemed to break her heart into a thousand pieces, but she had to think of herself. This one time in her life, Y/N had to think about herself and not someone else.

She wasn't sure if he was ever going to give her an answer because of the long lasting silence between them, but then, at one point, he cleared his throat and took her hand in his, before he finally started speaking. "I'm... I'm so sorry, darling, I... If I'm being honest, I really didn't have a clue about what was going on inside of your head. I didn't know that our life made you this upset. I thought you were as happy as I am, to be honest. I'm so sorry. But I have to be forthright about this, there's not really something I could change about my schedule. The club requires me to be there for every training session. I can't cancel or postpone anything. You know how much I love my job and maybe you're right. I am really focused on my career at the moment. I love you, I really do and you know that. In my opinion, there is definitely a place for our relationship in my life and I'm sure that there's a future for the two of us together! But I can't change anything about my job, I really can't and maybe I also don't want to right now, because I'm living my dream, you know that."

Y/N slowly nodded her head. She knew he was right, and honestly she already knew how it would most likely end even before the conversation started. It needed to happen, and she couldn't save her relationship with Mason. It broke her heart and she wanted to throw all her doubts away and forget about everything. She wanted to just go on living like this with Mase, always alone but in a really fancy apartment with an amazing view over the city of London — but she just wasn't happy. And she deserved to be happy.

Even before Y/N started to speak again, Mason already knew how this would end. He knew her since almost four years now so he was sure about what she was going to do right now. It hurt him a lot that he didn't see how Y/N felt before and it made him feel like a horrible person but he also knew that he couldn't just throw everything else away for her to be happy because he worked so hard to be where he was right now. She wasn't happy with him anymore and he knew that she needed to end things right now to be finally happy again.

And this was how it all ended. The two of them agreed that they were on different stages in life at the moment and that things just didn't work out like this anymore. There weren't a lot of tears during the conversation but afterwards, when the two were alone without each other again, there were a lot.

Two years of an absolutely amazing and loving relationship were now in the past. The future was unknown and even if they tried to stay friends — it was not as easy as they wanted it to be.

They lost each other.

The cover of the magazine her immediate neighbor read since about half an hour caught her attention immediately.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL:

CHELSEA V BAYERN MUNICH — WHICH CLUB WILL TAKE HOME THE TROPHY?

Not only the title, but also the photo on the cover was not to be overlooked.

Sometimes it felt like he was following her everywhere just to make sure she didn't find happiness in someone else. But how could she? There was no one else who could make her feel like Mason did back then. On some days, Y/N asked herself if he ever thought about her like she did about him. Maybe he found someone else who makes him happier than she ever could? Someone who knows how to deal with his career better than her?

She tried so hard not to stalk his instagram all the time, but sometimes she couldn't hold herself anymore and started looking through his feed longer than necessary wondering if he ever did the same thing or if she was just being crazy.

When they decided to stay friends back in December 2021, both already knew that this whole friendship-ex-lover-thing wouldn't work out for them. Their feelings for each other were far too strong for just being friends so maybe it would be better to end things completely. And that was exactly what they did.

While Mason already knew where he saw himself in life, Y/N didn't know anything about these things. It took her a long time to get used to the unusual emptiness in her heart. But after some time, the brunette decided that it was time for something new. University didn't really make her happy, it never did, so she dropped out of uni. She never wanted to study anyway, even though it was what everyone had advised her all the time.

It was Mason who always told her to stop doing what everyone else wanted her to and instead start doing what she really dreamed of.

Even if she had to take this path without him now, Y/N always thought about his words while finally taking things in her own hands. It took her some time to find her own way but every effort will eventually be rewarded.

Y/N snapped out of her thoughts when her immediate neighbor stood up to leave the café and took the magazine with him. She sighed briefly before she also decided to leave the café — it was already dark outside and she had to walk all the way through the city to her new home, a very small apartment near Hyde Park. In her eyes, it was just perfect. Things didn't always have to be fancy or expensive to make someone happy, that's what she learned after her breakup. In general, she learned a lot during the last two years and even if she couldn't describe how much she missed Mason sometimes, Y/N also knew that it was the right decision to put herself first.

The next few days were somehow strange but she couldn't quite tell the reason for the feeling inside of her.

Wherever she went, it always seemed like this stupid match she saw on the cover of the magazine a few days ago followed her. It felt like she was meant to see it as often as possible until she finally gave in to buy tickets for the match. Maybe it was dumb and maybe she was just going crazy but she just couldn't get the idea of going to the Champions League Final out of her head.

Y/N was never really into football but during her relationship with Mason she watched a lot of his matches to support him no matter what. Maybe she just wanted to feel his presence near her again?

It didn't feel totally right when she bought a ticket the next day but in her head she kept retelling herself that it was the right decision and that she just wanted to support an old friend, nothing else.

This was definitely one of the most important days in his whole life. Even tho Mason already experienced the Champions League Final in 2021, this time it was even better. He just couldn't describe how it felt walking into the stadium alongside his teammates and hearing all the fans shouting their names. The feeling was unbelievable and he wished that he could somehow capture it in a bottle to feel it every single day for the rest of his life.

He tried his best to stay focused and calm but it wasn't as easy as usual. They needed to win this trophy, the will to take it back home was stronger than ever.

When the whistle blew, it suddenly didn't feel so difficult to win anymore. It was just like any other game – Mason pushed everything around him to the back of his mind. The focus was completely on the game. And so the ball landed in the opponent's goal in the 30th minute. It brought back memories of the final three years ago. Were they able to keep the lead?

The feeling of the Champions League Finale was just something else. You didn't have to be a pro at football to feel the energy going around the stadium this night. To Y/N, it felt like she was part of something bigger. When the first goal happened, she tried to look out for Mason on the field only to see him right in front of the opponent's goal. It was him who scored the first goal this night and she couldn't help but feel incredibly proud of him.

During half time, she decided to post a story on her instagram profile. Y/N didn't really think about it and maybe if she had, she wouldn't have done it because there was a special someone who always made sure to know what was going on in her life. He needed to make sure that she was happy, it was something that made him feel a little bit better even if it still hurt and after all these years there was still this big hole inside of his heart since she was gone. So when he clicked through his phone with Ben on his right and he saw that she posted something on her story, Mason couldn't stop himself from watching it right away only to watch it again and again to make sure he wasn't just seeing things.

"Mate, she's here tonight." Ben looked at him confused because he had absolutely no clue who his best friend was talking about. "Y/N, she is here tonight. In the stadium. Watching us play", Mason repeated himself but this time he made it pretty clear who he was talking about. He also basically shoved his phone right into Ben's face who took it from his friend because he wanted to make sure that Mason wasn't just going crazy.

"Wait — You broke up over two years ago, right? Why are you still stalking her instagram, mate? Are you serious?" Mason rolled his eyes over his best friend's comment. "That's not the point, Ben! She's here tonight. And she doesn't even like football so it's definitely not because of the match." "To be honest, I think you shouldn't get your hopes too high, you know? It felt weird to know that Y/N was out there watching him and the others play. He didn't think that she started to like football but maybe there was another reason for her to be here tonight — it didn't have to be him, right?

Mason didn't have enough time to look around before the second half of the match started even if he wished he could've seen her for a second before starting to play again. He knew exactly that he had to stay focused, but he couldn't help himself. His thoughts wandered back to Y/N and their relationship all the time, he really couldn't keep his focus on the game which was one of the reasons there was another goal in the 70th minute. But this time, the ball landed in their own goal.

The second half was a lot harder than the first one. Until the end it looked like there would have to be an extra time, but suddenly it happened.

A chance opened up that allowed Mason to shoot the ball straight to Timo. It was the 88th minute. The ball landed in the opponent's goal. A few minutes later the long-awaited whistle finally followed after four additional minutes.

They won.

The trophy would finally come back home to London.

It felt like heaven when everyone ran to each other on the field to celebrate their success. There were a lot of hugs and also a lot of tears, but even if Mason was in the middle of a group hug, his mind was elsewhere.

There were thousands of people in the stadium shouting and crying tears of joy so it wasn't pretty realistic that he would see her right away but he just couldn't stop looking for Y/N. He knew that she was there so he had to find her. Mason didn't even know why he wanted to see her so badly, there was the possibility that she didn't even want him to know because she didn't want to talk to him, but Mason couldn't care less. This place tonight was his only chance to see her again after two years of not talking a word to each other. And his friends also knew that.

Ben had told Reece and Kai about what happened during the half time break and they all knew what they had to do. Mason had never stopped loving Y/N and as long as there was a chance that she felt the same way, they had to fix this whole thing. So when the group hugs were over, the three of them made their way to the stands looking for a special brunette.

Y/N was overwhelmed by everything around her. The people next to her were crying tears of joy and on the other side there was a girl who just hugged her out of nowhere when the final whistle came. She didn't expect this evening to end like this but she definitely didn't regret buying the ticket. It felt weird to be this close to Mason again but it also reminded her of the many games she watched in the past and about how happy he always seemed to be with her around. She missed seeing his smile dedicated to her and her only. But she knew, that she couldn't have it because she lost it all.

While she was about to leave the stand, she heard some people at the front starting to scream and shout out of nowhere. She was confused and wanted to know what was going on, so Y/N decided to go downstairs instead of leaving the stand and check out what was happening — maybe someone needed help because there was an emergency or something like that. But as she got closer, she realized that the fans were only screaming because some players were running along the edge of the field.

Y/N squinted her eyes and realized pretty quickly that it was Ben, among others. Because of her relationship with Mason she got to know a few players and with Ben she had always got along well.

At first Y/N thought that they were just going to talk to some fans to celebrate their success together but after a while it seemed like they were searching for something and when Ben suddenly stopped and pointed in her direction, she realized the boys weren't just looking for anything. They were looking for her.

A little unsure she waved to them and Ben signaled her to come to them. A voice in her head told her to leave quickly — but she didn't. She didn't run away.

It was a bit difficult to fight her way through the fans, but she managed to do it after some time. A slight smile was on her lips as she stopped in front of Ben. "Long time no see", he said and smiled at her. "Yeah," Y/N wasn't quite sure what to say because she definitely didn't plan talking to one of the players today. She just wanted to be there for Mason, even though he didn't know that she was there.

But how did his friends know?

"How did you know that I was here tonight?", she asked a bit confused but Ben only laughed at her question, "We saw it on your instagram story. I mean — he saw it. Of course there's the possibility that you just came here because you're a really big fan of us, but... If you came here to talk, we can definitely make it happen, you know? Y/N was shocked for a brief moment, but finally remembered that Mason was in fact still following her on social networks. The boys took her with them to show the security team that everything was alright while they made their way over to the others. It felt weird to feel all these people staring down at them, but most of them were already leaving the stadium, so soon it would only be the players left on the field. And her.

She could feel her heart beating faster and faster and it wasn't long before she discovered Mason. He was talking to Timo who scored the final goal and had the biggest smile ever on his face. But when Timo saw Y/N standing behind them, he stopped talking right away. They didn't know each other that well while Mason and her were a couple but it seemed like he did in fact know who she was.

"Why did you stop talking?", Mason asked confused as he turned around to check out what Timo was looking at. And when he saw her, his jaw dropped.

Everything around them suddenly seemed to disappear and it was just the two of them, standing in the middle of the field looking at each other like they were both ghosts. She noticed that he had grown up a lot. His facial features seemed a little more serious than before. He was amazed that she had grown her hair. He couldn't put into words how beautiful she looked in the bright light of the stadium. He wanted to hold her in his arms. She wanted the same. And even without saying a word, they fell into each other's arms.

Nobody dared to be the first one to break the silence, because at this moment, everything seemed to be perfect again.

For both of them, it felt like they were finally whole again. The missing piece was back at its place and would never get lost again.

After some more silent moments, Mason finally started to speak but he couldn't let her go just yet so he whispered into her hear, "I missed you so much." Y/N could swear that there were already tears in her eyes and she nodded her head while answering, "I missed you more." He shook his head but didn't say anything else for another five minutes.

Meanwhile, the stadium was almost completely empty and the others were leaving the field to continue celebrating in the changing rooms.

"I'm so proud of you," she said when she loosed herself from the embrace. But Y/N couldn't bare another second without touching him, so she took his face in her hands and looked him directly in the eyes. Something she didn't do two years ago, when she decided to end everything.

She could see the tears in his eyes and it reminded her of their breakup but she didn't want to think about that. She wanted to think about the future. And she also wanted to talk about it and she wanted to take it in her own hands this time.

"A lot happened during the last two years, you know?" He just nodded so she decided to go on, "I know that... what happened with us... It was hard. And I'm sorry. But I needed it. Maybe it sounds crazy but I needed this to start taking my life in my own hands. I needed it to breathe and to find out what I really want in life. We were both so young when we met and I didn't even know what I wanted. But now, I do. I found my way, I listened to your words and I am living my dream just like you do. Just like you always wanted me to. And when I saw that you were in the Champions League Final I just... I couldn't get this thought out of my head. Something drove me to you, and I think it was the right decision."

He listened to every single word she was saying without stopping her, because he knew that it was important for her to tell him. Just like he knew back then that it was important for her to leave him at this point in their life.

Everything was meant to happen just like it did and now, everything was finally going to be okay again.

He was sure about that. She was sure about that.

They both were.

International Break Pt.1 Christian Pulisic

Pt 2 FA Cup Final

Pt 3 Before the UCL Final

Christian and I met in the summer when he was visiting his family in Pennsylvania, and I was in my freshman year at Penn State. We casually bumped into each other at the same restaurant, and the rest is history. Since he joined Chelsea we have maintained a long-distance relationship full of ups and downs. It's not easy when you have to take an eight-hour flight, but even with his busy schedule and my college classes we still managed to see each other whenever one of us had time.

Whenever I felt like I could no longer cope with the long-distance, Christian always found a way to make me feel loved. I don't know how he did it, but sometimes when I woke up feeling sad, there was always a nice message from him or a little something in the mail. As well as him, I tried to do my best so every once in a while, on his cheat meal I sent him his favorite chocolates; Reese's.

I can't complain about the years together, but this year luck was not by our side. The pandemic started and made everything difficult for us, we had to lock ourselves in, and our plans to see each other had to be postponed a couple of times. Anxiety, desperation, and frustration were feelings that were in our day-to-day, every time we set a date. Things changed. Honestly, not being in control or being unsure of them frustrated me. The changing rules for entering other countries especially. We not only missed each other, but we also missed our families. He was in England, and I was in the United States but with my family in Mexico and being homesick was one of the worst feelings.

At that time, Christian was also dealing with an injury, and to break the loop we were falling into, we called each other every day and created random dates. We cried a lot, fought, and said things we shouldn't have, but we ended up forgiving each other. In the end, they weren't things we could control, but the only sure thing we had was our love for each other.

Things started to brighten up when the lockdown mostly started to end. Christian went back to work, and I went back to class. But even though things were no longer as strict as they were and we could hang out without some restrictions, we accord it was better to wait a little longer to see each other, for our safety. But mainly because he didn't want me to be distracted or fail any class.

The hamstring injury he was struggling with was now forgotten, as was the miserable start to the season because it now looked promising. When he told me; that the doctors had said he was healthy and ready to play, I was even happier. What I didn't expect was him to be in the starting line. Chelsea was now in the FA Cup semi-final, and Christian played great. With him fully recovered and the international break just around the corner, he was called to the national team.

As soon as I knew he was coming to play with the National Team for the World Cup qualifier, I was looking forward to seeing him. I didn't care if it was only for five minutes. So we agreed that after his Sunday game with Chelsea he will take the first flight to Pennsylvania. I'll pick him up at the airport, we will have lunch together and then I will take him back to the airport, so he can join the team. Everything sounds like a circus, and maybe it was ridiculous, but Christian said that being a little tired was beyond worth it if he could manage to see me and catch the good luck kiss.

The night before, I went to bed with his: "I'll see you in a couple of hours, love you x" message, and imagining his scent, his deep voice, his strong arms wrapping me, and his warm breath against my skin. But not everything was a bed of roses when the first thing I saw in the morning was his arrival at the training camp on Instagram.

Tears began to fall, I didn't know how to feel a mix of confusion, sadness, and angrier were blurring my mind. A day that was supposed to be happy went directly to the trash. I felt disappointed in him for not telling me the change of plans.

My phone buzzed showing his name on the screen. I turned it down; before talking to him, I needed to calm down. The words stuck on my tongue were anything but good. Suddenly, my anger got the better of me and I returned the call. My hands were trembling, my heart was pounding, my sight and thoughts were numb, and as soon as he answered, I started shouting out all the words as if I were singing.

"What were you thinking? Why didn't you say anything?!"

"They changed everything..." he mumbled on the other side of the phone, "they found out that I was going to see you and they threatened me that if I didn't come straight to the training camp they wouldn't let me play. You know how important is..."

I interrupted him, his calmness was getting my nerves, and the explanation sounded like the dumbest thing he had ever said.

I was looking forward to seeing you even if there were just five minutes, five fucking minutes Christian! And I got the news from the National Team account on Instagram instead of my boyfriend! He began to talk, trying to dialogue with me. By this time, I was a complete mess; cheeks wet and flushed, and a mouth that won't stop.

"No digas pendejadas!" [don't say stupid things] I said in Spanish like every time I get upset. "You wouldn't do that to me. I know it's your job Christian, and I can't complain about it, but I'm the one who has to adapt to your pace of life. Do you know how hard it is to study; and maintain a long-distance relationship? I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer to see you or if the plan changed if I heard from you instead of the National Team page. You don't seem to trust me..."

"Fuck y/n! If I'm saying I'm sorry, it's because I mean it!" he said, trying to reason with me.

He knew, that when I begin to speak in Spanish things had escalated to another level. Because my anger clouded my mind; that I was no longer able to think in English. And yes, I crossed the line that I didn't expect to.

"I don't want to talk with you anymore... please give me my space," I said before cutting the call and with that relationship with Christian Pulisic. In maybe the dumbest way possible, but I felt I had all the right to be angry.

Fireworks, Food and Fore!

The last 36 hours has been a real whirlwind of activity and fun.

It couldn't have come at a better time either.

I was feeling somewhat low (as I very often do) because of my recent decision to postpone my Assignor training. Which in turn means no promotion to Coordinator.

So I did what I usually do when I feel sad. Keep myself busy to distract myself from the real issues.

Tuesday 9am:

Start the day doing my Trainer job at Tony's I'm doing the final assessments for two new Castmembers all day.

Tuesday 5:30pm:

Scheduled to be done at work. This gives me plenty of time to go home, have dinner, change clothes, touch up my makeup and return to the Magic Kingdom in time for a 10:30 Castmember event.

Tuesday 9pm:

Actually leave work after needing to stay longer to cover for other Castmembers calling in sick.

No time to get dinner, change clothes or redo any makeup.

Instead, grab a snack, race over to Hell-mart and purchase a blouse to go with my black work skirt and get caught in traffic.

Tuesday 11pm:

Arrive at the Magic Kingdom to see the tail end of a pre-show presentation on the castle stage.

Tuesday 11:30 pm

A special Castmember showing of "Happily Ever After" fireworks.

Even though I've seen it dozens (and dozens) of times It's still great to see it again and know it's a major step back to things returning to normal. A lot of other Castmembers seem to feel the same way as the Hub and Main Street are packed!

Wednesday 1:30 am

Finally make it home after lots of traffic (again). Grab a bowl of cereal for dinner. Go through my nightly routine and get to bed as quickly as possible.

Wednesday 4:30 am:

Time to wake up. Put on my makeup, pack the car for the day and head out the door.

Wednesday 6:15 am:

Arrive at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course for an early tee time.

I have friends visiting from North Carolina and because of my busy schedule today is our only day to spend some time togather. I only get to see them a couple of times a year and am really looking forward to seeing them again. They are wonderful people and I'm proud to know them and call them friends.

Wednesday 7:03 am.

Fore! It's been a while since I even swung a golf club. Unfortunately my game has suffered with my crazy work schedule taking up most of my time now.

Wednesday 11:00 am

Got in 17 holes and had a great time playing especially with my friends. I've played almost all of my golf alone the last few years so it's great to play with friends! My game was very rusty and it takes 12 holes before I even get a par.

Time now to do a quick change of clothes into my Tony's costume and get to work. Got a full shift to do before I have a little time this evening.

Wednesday 12:00 pm - 8:45 pm:

Try to stay on top of things at work. I'm running on 3 hours of sleep and caffeine.

Wednesday 9:15 pm

Dinner tonight is at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I'm meeting my North Carolina friends there so we can have another opportunity to see each other.

For so many sentimental reasons Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort of all. Getting to spend a late dinner with my friends just adds to the list.

The Skillets are great and everyone at the table (6 in total) all get a chance to try everything!

Unfortunately dinner goes by way to fast and soon we are the last table in the restaurant.

After lots of hugs goodbye and a few group pictures it's time to head home to an empty house.

About a minute after I lay down I'm asleep.

"Nothing can survive in a vacuum, no one can exist all alone" is a line written by Niel Peart in the Rush song " Turn the Page" .

Having precious few friends (none in Orlando) one in Colorado, a couple in California and of course in North Carolina. I often forget how really nice it is to have friends to spend time with.

Today really reiterated that fact. The contrast I felt when standing alone at the Magic Kingdom while everyone else had friends and family around verses how I felt by the end of dinner were polar opposites.

I'm thankful to my North Carolina friends and that they took the time and effort to contact me a few years ago. I love them all dearly and can't wait to see them all again.

Thanks for your tags about Harry's tour scheduling. I saw so many takes about it, acting like it's unfair to add a new show to the US before saying anything about the rest and got a bit upset about it. I don't care how many shows he's doing in New York this year, he's for sure not doing any in my (European) country and at this point noone knows under which restrictions or if at all he'll be able to do that next year. I'm also not sure my Louis' show in the spring will happen as planned. And that it not the fault of any of their teams, it's due to the pandemic and the different political strategies, wether they're good or bad - mostly bad though. What would be the point of announcing new dates only to scrap them again? Just so we can pretend we know anything about where this is going to go during the winter? It's exhausting seeing people argue about show announcements while the hospitals are filling up again. I don't even know if I'll go to a show when they happen because I no longer trust something being allowed also means it's safe. Maybe if I can get a booster shot until then, who knows. Certainly not me.

I'm so sorry for the difficulties where you are anon. It must be so scary looking to winter and knowing that things are better than they were, but not knowing what's going to happen next. I really appreciated that you emphasied the reality of the pandemic - as grim as it is.

I think there's a generousity of spirit to being upset by what people say that I can't even muster. I just find it mindblowingly immature. To be almost two years into a pandemic and still demand that other people provide certainty is an astonishing refusal to accept reality.

He's able to announce another show in New York, because the US as a whole has committed to a low regulation environment, despite 10,000 deaths per week. To know that and be all like 'this is unfair to me someone outside the US who has a Harry Styles ticket' - I just have no words for the trivalisation of death and devastation that is part of that world view.

Nobody knows what's going to happen this winter. Nobody knows how bad it's going to get. While some governments are clear about their plans and what they'd do when things get worse. Others are in rank denial about the possibilities, and it's impossible to predict how they'll respond when they're eventually confronted with reality.

Harry announced how his US tour was going to go ahead 6 weeks before it started and 4 weeks before it was scheduled to start. I think expecting any more notice than that is to be in complete denial of the current reality.

There are places where people can't access refunds - and that's abominable. But there's a huge difference between suggesting that people should have refunds for something that has been postponed two years and suggesting that it's some kind of individual injustice that pandemics make scheduling tours difficult.
