Going through Supergirl main tag right after an ep is such interesting experience. Few hours after you get gazzilions of Snowflake gifs and short pissed off posts made by Scs, moaning about how they are done. Day later came the long meta theories how much this show sucks and how Sc is end game. Along with few Alex/Kara gifs.
I wonder if people who don;t want to interact with SC just don’t tag their things in main, ir we are just all dead and the fandom is run by the assholes xD
Dulliam tag is another experience. It works like an anti tag with some positive posts. Stil, no his gifs from 5x14.

listen re: schitt’s creek finale tomorrow, I am 1000% sure that David’s announcement is in fact his engagement, that is MASSIVE news for this boy that there’s no way wouldn’t be received with complete joy and celebration from his family and that’s definitely a perfect way to round off a season finale (after an incredible, chaotic, emotional musical episode of course)
not to mention David flashing those rings around & dropping all sorts of hints that nobody is picking up on is peak comedy material right there I can’t wait to see his face throughout the entire thing
Just finished Schitt's Creek and i'm in denial that it's over. I know everyone loves Moira and David mother/son moments, but i have to say i wish we got more of Johnny and Alexis. They had more scenes together in the later seasons, but i still feel like it wasn't enough. The whole "david and my mom sometimes gang up on my dad, i'm basically his only friend" i wish we got to see more of that. Or Alexis teaching Johnny what rollout means etc. Just more. They are an underrated father/daughter duo!
Ahhh thank you for choosing me to vent your post SC denial/feels because I can definitely relate. I 1000% agree with you. They are incredibly underrated like you said the show refers to moments but we dont actually get to see all of them!!! Some of the most heartwarming moments in the entire show (for me) are the beginning of 5x14 and their time together in 2x09. I also appreciate their little moment in 3x08 (another reason that ep is one of my favs!).
I like to think of them working together around the Rosebud Motel enterprise and having that shared connection 😊
Yeah, you're not wrong there. I love Julie and Andrea as a character, but the show was having trouble juggling the characters they had even last season, before even introducing Andrea and William in s5. Andrea fares better in my eyes though because her past storyline with Lena earlier this season was really good. Wish this show would explore good character dynamics and relationships like that more than the ill-conceived Non Nocere storyline and the mess that is Leviathan.
yeah all around agreed, but i didn’t even say that bc Andrea is underwritten as a character but also bc other than being an unknowing actor in their rift (mainly thru Lena’s machinations), she really hasn’t had shit to do with Kara and Lena’s relationship (or the lack of thereof now). if they used 5x14 to have Andrea and SG (or Andrea and Kara) build more of a bond w Kara learning more about Andrea and Lena’s backstory, then i could see Andrea being a factor in SC’s making up, but as things stand, i dont see her making much of an impact on that storyline specifically.
I’m having a very bad night what sc episode should I watch to cheer myself up maddison
i hope your night gets better
2x02 Family Dinner, 2x09 Moira’s Nudes, 2x13 Happy Anniversary, 3x02 New Car (Moira in that episode always makes me laugh), 3x13 Grad Night (Obviously), 4x02 Pregnancy Test, 4x06 Open Mic, 4x12 Singles Week, 4x13 Merry Christmas Johnny Rose (the tree unveiling scene deserved an Emmy of its own tbh), and then if you have access to season 5 might i suggest 5x02 Love Letters, 5x05 Housewarming, 5x09 MVP, 5x11 Meet the Parents, 5x12 The Hike, and 5x14 Life is a Cabaret
Dan Levy on co-directing the Schitt's Creek Season 5 finale "Life is a Cabaret". ABOUT SCHITT'S CREEK: When wealthy video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his soap-star wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara) and their two twentysomething children--hipster gallerist David (Daniel Levy) and career socialite Alexis (Annie Murphy)--suddenly find themselves broke, they have no choice but to move to a backwoods town Johnny once bought as a joke. With their pampered lives a memory, they must face their humiliating hardship and figure out what it means to be a family, all within the unfamiliar environs of Schitt's Creek, their new home.
You I'm not worried about. What the hell is your secret, Stevie? You just stand your solid ground, refusing to be anything but you. I never thought I'd say this about anyone in this town, but you- you're very, very cool. And whether you set sail, or stay put, that's not going to change. Now, why don't we take our Sally by the hand, and we go out there, and show those people everything she can be. If she were only more like you.
