Wednesday evening: Dexa, AI Assistant and other stuff.

Too much gloomy weather is weird. As if it feels like everything around has stopped, completely, frozen. It’s been gloomy here all day long, sometimes raining and sometimes isn’t. I thought I would pick my car and go for a drive but when it starts raining, you cannot trust the traffic on the roads, so I let that plan be. Was working on Dexa, checked up my stock portfolio and realized NVIDIA has hit $1Trillion in Market Cap and I really believe its overhyped, as per its sales to earnings ratio. NVIDIA right now is going through the same hype bubble that CISCO went in early 90′s when the Internet happened, solely because of a new technology selling on high future stakes, but it wasn’t long until CISCO stock price crashed 90% just after the hype-cycle ended.  After that, I was browsing through science videos when a video explaining MDMA Therapy for PTSD caught my attention. I watched the video which basically comprises of people who have went through the clinical trials for the treatment and it actually works. I am sure it does, because I have took MDMA in the past, but like all other illicit street drugs, this MDMA I took was also not pure. MDMA is basically Ecstacy, a party drug that boosts empathy, emotions and you feel good on it, the last time I did X (short for ecstacy) was back in 2020. For once I felt like I should try checking up with someone who might have found this therapy beneficial but unfortunately and obviously it isn’t available in India. India hasn’t even legalized weed yet, let alone another psychedelic that too much stronger than it. India has a weird law structure when it comes to substances and a lot of other things. Drugs come into this country with the help of the government officials, in this case corrupt politicians and officials, everyone in the hierarchy is involved into the dirty business of drugs, but they won’t legalize the once that are less harmful/potent. The street weed that’s being sold here is SPICE which is dried leaves of marijuana sprayed with different toxins, sometimes even fentanyl and people are catching habit out of smoking weed. The more contaminated the drug, the more harmful it is to your health but boy oh boy my country will never want to lose control and also the extra cash that the illicit market has, if they legalize it they’re gonna lose the big chunk of cash. And no, I don’t smoke WEED. I don’t do any drugs since the last 8 months, but I have tried almost every drug available on this planet except DMT and Ayahuasca. I was a full blown Heroin, Coke and Meth addict for 6 years before I hit I think my 10th rock-bottom and decided to get clean and never go back that route ever again. No matter how emotionally painful somethings are, I ain’t gonna do drugs ever again in my life, and this September I will hit my one year sober anniversary. Cheers to that!  Coming back to the point, even if I want to consider the MDMA Therapy or psychotherapy, for the lack of a better word, I have to travel abroad. I will be going to Amsterdam by the end of July this year and I’ll try to take a look into this thing. I know MDMA does heal a lot of things because I have used it a couple of times in the past and I very well understand how this thing will work, but the therapy will be supervised by a therapist for 8 hours and its a process that I alone can’t achieve. Also, street ecstacy quality is not at all good for therapeutic use. Street level X is mixed with meth, ketamine or sometimes even caffeine or sometimes all of these together. So no. Let’s put this in the bucket list.  Right now I have been working on coding a GPT-4 based Assistant that will answer your questions and even talk, or work as your personal therapist. Writing the business logic for the app, and the front-end has already been written. That’s pretty much it, took a quick break to write this post and I’ll again write back shortly.
