Hi! this is sanricons and i'm here to thank y'all for the 2k followers. To be honest, i never thought i was gonna being able to reach such number on this platform. My gift for y'all is the link of almost all my psds (except for the recent ones such as Seasons and Jealous). Hi! i'm sanricons and i came here today to adress the whole "whitewashing" issue that was brought up yesterday.

For those that don't know, yesterday i received a message in my request box telling me that what i do is "whitewashing for aesthetic icon purposes" which i found out later that it was because of some my yuto's icons and i just wanted to tell you all that i'm totally against whitewashing idols, specially idols like yuto or hongseok from pentagon who have an beautiful tanned skin which i love. Maybe this was brought up to me because some of the icons don't show at all that sunkissed skin of them or of all the idols i make icons of in general, but i wanted to explain two things:

A-. Most of the pics that i use are selfies that both the idol and the variety shows/radios that they assist, and sometimes those pics are whitewashed previosly (specially the variety shows ones); and my coloring/psd just make that thing more obvious.

B-. Some of those pics mostly come with a lot of things that if i left them in the pic, they're gonna make the final product dirty. So i have to play with some of the configurations of my photoshop (brightness/contrast, exposure and selective color) and on top of that i have to apply an action to correct the light because a big part of the time the pictures are not bright and the skin color turns out more in a grey tone when the psd/coloring is applied.

Of course i'm totally glad that this issue was spoken and brought to me, i'm not gonna lie at all. And i'm very sorry that my content was misleading and gave you all the impresion that i'm a pro-whitewashing person. Also i want to thanks the person who called me out for this, i'm gonna try from now to show a good image of me and learn from those mistakes. If y'all want me to show how i make my icons in order to prove that what i'm saying is true, just send me a message through my request box/dm and i'll gladly do it.

¡Hola! soy sanricons y vine aquí para hablar sobre el problema de "whitewashing" que sucedió el día de ayer.

Para aquellos que no saben, el día de ayer recibí un mensaje en mi request box donde se me plantea que lo que hago es "whitewashing para el propósito de un icon aesthetic" y más tarde el mismo día me enteré que este mensaje llegó a mi gracias a mis icons de yuto y quería decir que soy una persona que está totalmente en contra del whitewashing a los idols. Especialmente cuando se trata de idols como yuto o hongseok quiénes poseen una piel bronceada preciosa que amo. Tal vez esto fue traído a mí porque algunos de los icons que posteo tanto de ellos como de otros idols no muestran en lo absoluto el tono natural que estos mismos poseen, pero quiero explicar dos cosas:

A-. Las fotografías que uso gran parte del tiempo son posteadas tanto por los idols en cuestión como por las cuentas oficiales de los programas de variedades/radios a los cuales estos asisten, y a veces estas fotos ya vienen con un whitewashing previo (especialmente la de los programas de variedades); lo que my psd/coloring logra en este tipo de fotografías es resaltar eso.

B-. Alguna de estas fotos contienen muchas cosas que si yo las dejara en la fotografía, harían que el producto final se viese sucio. Por lo que debo jugar con algunas de las configuraciones de mi photoshop (brillo/contraste, exposición, correción selectiva) y encima de ello debo aplicar un action para corregir las luces porque gran parte del tiempo las fotos no son claras y el tono de piel termina luciendo de un tono grisacéo cuando aplico el psd/coloring.

Por supuesto que estoy agradecido que el tema haya sido hablado y traído hacía mí, no voy a mentir. Y pido disculpas por haber hecho que mi contenido fuese engañoso y diese la impresión de que soy pro-whitewashing. También quiero agradecerle a la persona que me expuso por esto mismo, intentaré mostrar una buena imagen de mí desde ahora e intentaré aprender de estos errores.
