Last year I re-worded the traditional "Banks of the Nile" to make it queer-themed and pertinent to the ongoing psychological war against LGBTQI rights. I have a wav file of the recording and was wondering if anyone would be interested in working on the musical end of the piece. This afternoon’s reading and listening….. if the children let me read! Fairport Convention ‘What we did on our Holidays’ 1969 first press, ‘Liege & Lief’ 1969 first press with the book Electric Eden about the history of Folk music through the 70’s and 80’s. Both albums are some of the best folk there is with Liege & Lief probably being the most recognised Folk album of all time.

Beautiful 1985 UK 43-track FOUR LP box set featuring an unrivalled collection of her greatest songs, alongside unreleased recordings, out-takes & demos spanning 1967 to 1977, complete with a nice 20-page illustrated black & white booklet in a 12" picture box. Apart from a small light sticker mark on the front, the packaging shows very little of its age with only light wear, the labels all have a couple of light spindle marks but remain very clean with minimal sign of play. My copy is on #elektrarecords- EKS-75030 It was produced by #MarkAbramson of Elektra Records and contains 12 tracks, including her U.S. top-forty hit cover of #jonimitchell's "#bothsidesnow", her recording of "Amazing Grace", #sandydenny's "Who Knows Where the Time Goes", and Collins' own composition "Albatross" (the latter two recordings were included in the film adaptation of The Subject Was Roses).
