The prompt for it was bringing all the secret projects into it, with the idea for Tress and Huck making and decorating a vine spore tree. people are making meta posts about the SSPs and the themes they share and stuff and I'm like "huh. all the main characters changed their name for an aspect of who they are, tress for her hairstyle, runian for his job, painter for his job, nomad because he's constantly moving. what's up with that. #transsubtext"

I feel like Brandon's been actively working on his female character count in the secret project books. I can't decide if there were actually more female named characters than male named characters in The Sunlit Man or if I'm just falling victim to bias and it's actually even. I'd have to count to know for sure

So, in Tress, Hoid has lost his senses to the point where he's running around in socks and sandals. In Yumi, he's a coatrack and Design lovingly painted him. Then in The Sunlit Man, Sigzil told him to fuck off and never apologized afterwards.

People in the cosmere really do get what they deserve.
