ofc! i've been thinking about it a lot!

i would like to begin by saying that, as with canon, everyone likes Wally. as they should! i think that's an Important tidbit that should always carry across, at least in some way

Wally is... i think it's also important that he's a kind person. he loves deeply, is very forgiving and accepting, and he's just. he's a bizarre little man, and he's wonderful! there is not a malicious bone in his body! he finds delight & beauty in everything he can. he looks at his friends and is filled with deep contentment and joy and love. he's not blind to their flaws (and certainly not his own), but he never minds. those flaws are part of his friends, and he loves every bit of them!

and ok. Wally is not nearly as naive in this au as he is in canon. bc he's had a different life! he's had a rough go of it! unfortunately there's next to no way for normal people to grow up completely innocent & naive & pure, yk? life is harsh. Wally is not spared. he's incredibly kind despite it all. he's still in love with life and humanity. he smiles at strangers in the street & stops to watch bees pollinate flowers & sees parts of his friends in everything. he has many intense feelings even if he doesn't really show it or know how to convey them! he believes in the inherent goodness of people & beauty of being human!

there is a... very wide range of how people (outside of the Neighbors) view Wally. a lot of people find him slightly unsettling and really fucking weird, and well. he is! he's strange, and it's a wonderful part of him! but many don't see it that way. so he was ostracized by his peers in school (all the way through college), his coworkers (the few times he held a job before becoming a full-time artist), and most people in his local community. they just don't get him. they don't See him. Wally doesn't mind all that much! all of the important people in his life accept and love him for who he is, and he wouldn't even think of changing to fit the mold others want to shove him into.

then of course there are the people who treat him like a child, bc ableism is a thing and Wally's very noticeably autistic (even if people only notice subconsciously). this i think would be one of the very few things that outright annoys Wally, even if he doesn't really show it. but then there's the people who, while they might not get him (especially not to the extent his friends do), they accept him. like much of the art community he's involved in - even if a lot of them completely misinterpret his personality / mannerisms. they're all like "ohhhh he's so mysterious and ruminant" that's the 'tism, babes

BUT! YOU ASKED ABOUT SPECIFICALLY HIM AND THE NEIGHBORS! we'll save Barnaby for last since that's. uh. i have a lot to say about it. it's Very Complex in my mind

collectively, all of them love Wally a lot. which i've said! We Know! they also (mostly subconsciously) look for his approval - he's got a certain level of charisma that makes them all want him to like them. which, he does. obviously. unconditionally. and they're all protective of him & very patient with him. i think that's both a result of his natural rizz, how kind & patient he is with them, how well they understand him, and how he's a pacifist. he's their guy and woe befall anyone who dares cross him. (essentially, all of them collectively: the only constant is suffering - omg Wally!!! 💖💖💖)

we'll start with Frank! before he got to know Wally, he thought that Wally was an aloof asshole who thought he was better than everyone. then they started to directly interact and Frank realized "oh you're literally the nicest person i've ever met & also surprisingly relatable. you're just like me fr'. did he have a lil crush on Wally? yes. im saying it now literally everyone in the friend group (except local lesbians poppy & sally) has had at least a teensy crush on Wally at some point. but Frank deeply appreciates Wally's company & his complete lack of judgement. and how he gladly will let Frank talk for hours on end, chiming in with questions to prompt him to talk more! he also appreciates Wally's calm demeanor and vibes. he's one of those people that even when overwhelmed, Frank can handle having Wally around. he's like a human capybara! if Frank needs/wants a buddy with him for Situations, his go-to (after Julie ofc, though depending on the situation he'd pick Wally first) is Wally, since Wally Gets It. also Wally is unafraid to be like "wow, this kinda sucks! we're leaving", thus giving Frank an easy out. they just get along very well! ofc Frank can get frustrated with Wally, but then again he gets frustrated w/ everyone. but since Wally is patient with him, Frank tries to return the favor. also he's gotten into several fistfights over Wally's honor

Julie! she loves Wally so fucking much! he's her lil guy! even if he's kinda boring in a way! he's not very good at games or sports & would rather go on a relaxing walk than play Just Dance, but hey! he always makes Attempts, and she appreciates that! when they were younger and Julie & Sally & Poppy had girls nights (they continue to have girls' nights but everyone is involved. they still call it that tho), they'd often include Wally bc, yk! he's chill like that! Julie also massively respects his ability to say "no thank you" to anything without compromise. if he ever says it to her, she knows that he doesn't mean Any ill will by it! there's a sort of comfort in that! she knows she can be herself around him! also he's just... very good company. he's a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, a willing victim & confidante for elaborate schemes! he visits her at work Purely because he knows it delights her to see a friendly face in the middle of a grueling shift! he's always been a bit of a lighthouse to her!

and while Sally can be a little exasperated with how literal Wally is, she finds no small amount of solidarity with him As A Fellow Artist. when they first became friends, they caught on like a house on fire! she mentioned the artistic side of theater, and Wally was immediately on board. then and going forward Wally is always willing and more than happy to assist with painting sets, art advertisements for her performances, etc! they have little brainstorming sessions where she rambles about what she wants sets / costumes to look like, and Wally sketches them out! since Sally was a theater kid and goes on to work in that department (locally, usually), Wally often gets first read of her scripts. Sally highly values Wally's opinion and input. if he's free, sometimes he helps teach the actors' the show choreography. Sally runs through it with him, Wally soaks up the moves like a sponge & memorizes them, and hey! he loves to teach! Sally just. she loves him a lot. they're both artists of a sophisticated nature <3

Howdy thinks Wally is real neat! Wally is good company and is (often unintentionally) hilarious! he's also like... the one person Howdy refuses to scam in any way shape or form. tricking grandmas into buying more than they need? no sweat. tricking Wally into spending slightly more money than intended? Howdy feels like a fucking monster. but yeah, Howdy's just always delighted to see Wally! he likes Wally's unique view of the world and often takes it into consideration when making decisions. when he's stuck on something, he thinks WWWD (what would Wally do!). Howdy also is the one who most often accompanies Wally to his art shows & the like, bc he knows that Wally will accept the first price offer he hears - and Howdy is determined that his incredible works of art are paid for their worth! nobody is gotta cheat his pal outta a single cent! he just likes having Wally around, you know?

Wally & Poppy have an interesting relationship, i think! he tells the cashier "she asked for no pickles" for her! she makes sure he always has a soft place to land! he kinda confuses her, but she finds it endearing in a way? he displays a personality/behavioral quirk and she's like "oh. well alright!" and rolls with it very gracefully. they appreciate each other's mellow demeanor and proclivity for peace. Poppy knows she can always have a nice, quiet conversation with him over tea (even if he doesn't drink it!). and he's always willing to help with anything and everything she needs, no question. i think i've made this joke on this blog before but! in way! he's her emotional support animal lmao. a hand to squeeze to death on an airplane! also it's funny for me to picture a 6'8 woman hunched behind this 5'2 shrimp of a man as if he can hide her

it takes a little bit for Eddie to adjust to Wally's bizarre nature! like i've said, Eddie connects with the group when they're all in their late 20s. he hasn't had over a decade of being friends with Wally like the rest of them. he likes Wally plenty! definitely grows to love him! but it's an adjustment. Wally consistently startles him very easily (Wally is naturally quiet and has a habit of appearing out of nowhere), and Eddie has a hard time getting a read on him. most people do! and also Wally is very handsome/pretty, and that throws Eddie off a bit (it's hard to think when someone so attractive is staring directly into your eyes without blinking) but once he gets somewhat used to Wally & understands as much as he can, he very much appreciates Wally's company & friendship! they find (somewhat subconscious) solidarity in being the kindest and most helpful people in the clique! and Wally is a wonderful island of peace in a turbulent world. Eddie never minds sitting with him for a cup of coffee in the early morning during his route, even if it means his workday ends a few minutes later than usual.

other supporting cast like Wally as well. Ms. Beagle kinda views him as a second son! the Joyful siblings will always find him a little weird and unsettling, but they're nice enough to him. Howdy's family thinks he's neat. etc! but lets talk about Barnaby!

Wally is literally everything to Barnaby. that's his person. there is literally no one that comes before Wally in his eyes and heart. their relationship is and always has been very nontraditional To Me (in this au and somewhat how i view them overall! its complicated!). Wally never subscribed to or understood societal norms, and as a result, Barnaby wound up pretty much shunning them as well when it comes to his lil buddy. their relationship isn't romantic - Wally is very aro and Barnaby just does not feel that way about him, not really. but at the same time it's certainly not entirely platonic!

neither of them can imagine being separated. they met in 7th grade and have been glued together ever since. they've been through some tough shit together! they know each other better than anyone! you cannot have one without the other! they're more than a package deal - they're Inseparable! Barnaby has had many a nightmare of Wally leaving in one way or another, and it scares him more than anything. to him, he can weather any storm as long as Wally is by his side. they obviously don't spend every moment together, but at the end of the day they always come home to each other.

Barnaby just... he loves and respects and values Wally so much. he wants his approval, his attention, his company. sometimes he scares himself by considering the lengths he'd go to for Wally. there is no one he's more comfortable with or feels he understands / is understood by. if somebody has a problem with Wally, they have a problem with Barnaby. if Wally jumped off a cliff, Barnaby would not hesitate to leap after him! Wally says jump, Barnaby asks how high! he's not a violent person at all, but teen Barnaby once broke a bully's jaw for goin' a little too far w/ Wally

is their relationship a smidge unhealthy? a lil codependent? yes <3 yes it is <3 but we all know that Wally would never use this against Barnaby. on his side of the coin, Barnaby is his person as well! Wally has never imagined his life without Barnaby because it just does not occur to him that that's a possibility. there are many things that only Barnaby knows about Wally, sides only he's seen. there's complete & unconditional trust/love between them. they hotbox Home together <3

Hi, I hope you're having a wonderful day!!!! How would Wally and the others in your Alive AU react if Reader had a coworker or friend that was romantically interested in them? Would they just get really clingy or even aggressive, especially considering they're confined inside the house?

I am! I went skating for a long while outside and got a Starscream model kit to put together later. :) (Short fic takes place in the Alive AU)

It started with flowers. One day out of the blue you had came home with a huge bouquet of beautiful roses. Julie was the first to ask where you got them, they were just so pretty! You told them it was from a coworker at the public library, he was really polite and gave you these roses as a gift...you were blind to say the least, not seeing it as a romantic gesture. But the romantic gift did not go unnoticed by your colorful guests.

Poppy told you she was already preparing dinner for tonight which was a relief honestly, you felt exhausted. Two pairs of arms pulled you close for a hug, recognizing them as Julie and Sally, the two hyper sunshines of your life. "Hey there host, we reeeeaaallly wanna show you something!" Julie was practically jumping with joy while Sally let go to grab something, coming back with a stereo to play music on. The two put on a dance that almost resulted in a vase being broken, but Barnaby's soft paws were there to catch it just in time.

"How about we all dance together?" Barnaby gave you a warm smile, he always knew how to warm your heart. Holding out his paw you took hold of it, joining in the dance with the three goofballs.

During dinner, Poppy came up to you with a delicious looking small cake and placed it right in front of you. "I made you some dessert deary, eat up!" You looked down confused "But what about the others?" However, when you looked back at the table everyone had already gone to do their own activities (or so you assumed) and Poppy just sat there smiling. Soon after that awkward dinner Eddie cornered you in the hallway one arm leaning on the wall and the other holding a neatly folded letter with red hearts all over it. "Here you are sweets, Frank and I wrote this just for you." You firmly grasped the paper and unfolded it. It was a beautifully written poem about you. "Wow, thank you Eddie I don't know what to say, this is very well written! I love it." Eddie gave you a small kiss on the head like he always did and the tip of a hat before walking downstairs whistling a small tune.

Later that night Howdy came by the bathroom as soon as you got out of the shower to gift you with the shiniest apple you've ever laid eyes on. You questioned where he got it from but Howdy only responded with "It's a secret! Just know that it's 100% off for you!" You couldn't say no to that goofy grin of his, plus he was just so happy to give it to you! You took it from him with a warm smile on your face... Also because his giant body was blocking you from leaving.

Once you finally managed to get by the giant caterpillar with your new gift you went to your room to settle down and sleep, rolling around a bit in the sheets until you got comfortable enough and closed your tired eyes.

Not even a minute after closing your eyes you felt the bed dip beside yourself and a long arm snaked over your torso. Only one person you know does that. "Wally, what are you doing?"

"I'm just cuddling my dearest host to sleep is all.~" You peeked open an eye after hearing that. He always did this when he wanted something out of it. "What do you want?"

"Nothing at all! You're the most I could ever ask for...buuut since you brought it up, you might as well do me a teeny tiny favor." You rolled in bed, turning yourself towards his chest, you were too cozy to care about the intimacy. "Hmh?" You hummed in acknowledgment.

"Stop talking to Derrek."

You sat up immediately. Not once did you tell anyone who it was that you've been talking to. "How did you-" a finger shushed you. "I know about him, and I want you to stay away. Can you do that for me darling?" He smiled coyly, but really it felt like he was threatening you. "No...Wally I can't just ghost someone like that. Besides we're just friends." The arm around you tightened as you squirmed to get out of your own bed. "Oh I know, but I would really love it if you two would quit talking. I don't think he's right for you."

Your eyes narrowed at him, for once the cocky bastard didn't look so cocky. "Wally...are you jealous? Is that what all of this is about? The gifts, the dancing, the constant cuddle sessions from you and everyone else here?" You watched his body go rigid and his face scrunch up into what was almost a frown. Wow, he's actually kind of frowning for once. That was rare.

"Wally, we're not a thing. Derrek and I are just friends and I don't intend to ever date him. I'm glad you and the others really care about me this much but you really shouldn't worry about my safety." You spoke more softly, finally understanding where he was coming from. The iron grip on your waist didn't falter though and you felt yourself suddenly being forced into a bear hug.

Julie swatted Barnaby's long tie out of her face so she could lean in closer to the door to listen. Everyone else did their best not to make any noise as they listened in.

"Look, if it makes you feel any better I'll just tell him we're nothing more than friends and to keep it at that, but I can't just cut people out of my life like that...alright?"

An audible groan left everyone's mouth hearing that, startling you and Wally both. Silly host, how can you be so blind to love?

Looks like the dear reader doesn't understand just how much everyone loves them yet! Personally I don't think any of them would be the type to hurt you or others EXCEPT for Wally. I think they would probably just try to shower you with their love to make you like them more...however, if you are straying too far from them they may need to find a way to make you a permanent resident at the house, just not at your house. They've got a nice place just for you back Home.

I’ve shared about my Welcome Home au on Discord and TikTok, but not here yet

So, I introduce to you: the Wish Maker au!💫

A Welcome Home au of mine that spawned from a meme I thought of one time while I was in the shower. Essentially the WH crew in this au are able to grant different kinds of wishes, and strive to make any and all wishes come true for a more better earth

(Please note that I did each of these art pieces separately, so all the canon sizes are the ones up on this first one⬆️)

First of all, we have our Wally variant: Wally Starling💫

Wally is the newest neighbor to land on Planet Home, as he was recently born from the stardust of a recently died supernova. Wally is gifted the power to grant star wishes as well as a high/moon jump, and aspires to be Judy’s as great of a wish maker as his friends

Up next: Our spectacular star, Sally Starlet⭐️

Glowing wherever she goes, Sally Starlet is the leader and protector of Planet Home. Legends as true as wishes have told that a portion of Sally’s power was distributed among each of her friends. Who knows what power she could behold at full capacity?

Next on our list: Our lovable dog Barnaby B. Beagle🎤

It might not seem like it at first, but Barnaby B. Beagle is a dog of many cultures. Barnaby grew a swift and tight friendship with Wally Starling, even being the one who gave Wally his name when he first arrived on Planet Home! Inspired by 90s family game shows as a sign of his love for fun and friendship, Barnaby grants the wishes from different cultures (such as tanabata tags, and grapes from under the table on the new years countdown)

Next up, our dynamic duo: 🎂Julie Joyful and Frank Frankly📚

Always excited to celebrate any occasion, Julie is your girl to call for a party. Her partying expertise is always to serve for others happiness. With help from Poppy Partridge and Sally Starlet, there’s no party on Planet Home that won’t be ready on time. Once the birthday candles are blown, a dash of confetti from Julie’s hand will have the wish granted in no time

Although they’re always in a rush, Frank Frankly is the brightest/smartest neighbor on the wishful Planet Home. Any questions the neighbors have about anything, Frank is able to answer in various ways. His specialty lies in granted wishes found in nature (such as dandelion puffs or the first winter snow), as well as proofreading wishes to the wisher’s intent. With provided help from Julie Joyful and Eddie Dear, there’s no task to tough for our beloved brainiac

And last up: 🌙Poppy Partridge, Eddie Dear💌, and Howdy Pillar🐛

Looking over the dreams of those down on Earth, Poppy Partridge acts as a guide to those who don’t know what their hearts desire. A scent of lavender and lilac follow wherever she goes, as a sea of stars speckle her pillowy soft tail feathers. Her and Sally Starlet happily work side by side, making sure all goes right from day to night

Folk tales from the old west tell the tale of a person who retrieves the wishes that haven’t been granted so that they can be granted as soon as they can. That there is our confident yet clumsy and forgetful dreamer, Eddie Dear. With his Lasso of Limitless Length and Star of Time, there’s no limit to when and where ungranted wishes will be granted. He takes his job with pride, especially if Frank Frankly is by his side

Ever need that little bit of push when playing the lottery? Or need a wish from that coin you tossed into the well? Well, our terribly generous Howdy Pillar’s got your back. He’d be more than happy to grant you luck and fortune for whatever you might need for the day. He does seem to fall asleep quite often, even with all the energy he needs for the day, so he carries his pillow Benjamin in case he’s ever tuckered out (get it? Cause money…$100…Benjamin Franklin-). So, what Howdy’s Place deal are you looking for today?

「Detective duo??」

(Reader is a robot character, helping kids get more familiar about their feelings therefore they are powered by love with a single heart on their chest but everything else is up to you! They also are the one to provide goods to Howdy, basically being buisiness mates.)

(Also, this overlaps with the Narrator reader au I have made. They are only mentioned though so do not worry. {And I will continue writting them as well :)} )

"26, 27, 28, 29...."

The robot pointed at each and every shinning apple that was set on the tabletops. They moved slowly yet precisely, though suddenly shuddered as they found a miss calculation.

They stood quiet and slowly walked away from the isle until stopping dead in their tracks being called by Howdy.

"Were they all there this time?"

The catapillar asked with hope.

The robot looked back at their paper, then looked back up from it. They pulled out a small thumbs up, knowing that obviously there weren't.

There were only 29 apples, even though the list said 30. There's been an apple thief going around the neighborhood, though it was kept secret between Howdy and... Y7/N4... err, Heart bot was their secondary title.

They were the provider of goods at Howdys place, having an eco friendly wind factory near Poppys barn.

They found the Catapillar sobing on the floor next to the apple section, full of despair and agony of the loss of a singular apple.

Due to respect and not wanting to embarass their friend, the robot kept this a secret, working together to find who it is.

Although that also means more work hours than usual... But hey! That also means more time with their friend!

"All good Howdy."

The bot gave a thumbs up.

"Nice! I'm gonna need to recount them in a sec, I just need to-"

Hugh,

"-Bring this to the corner right there."

Howdy placed the box that sounded packed from behind the counter, pointing to the isle you just checked. The emotion driven robot could tell how he was espeacially eyeing the apples they have just restocked.

Although slightly offended, as it also kind of ment that Howdy didn't trust their decision of coding, from all of the times the apple isle was targetted for some mysterious reason, it was very understandable.

However, Y/n's circuits shocked up knowing very well that they had lied, sliding right before Howdy's path.

"It is alright, friend. I ensure you that my calculations are correct. Ah, please let me do this for you as well."

That being said, the Heart Bot grapled on the sides of the box harshly, trying to take it away from the poor shop keep.

"Oh nono it's totally fine! Err... umm.."

"It is Y7/N4."

"Err... y/n."

Howdy said, not letting go which the opposing bot didn't either.

They insisted on carrying the heavy box strongly, being backed up with crucial evidence that they are more fit for the job while Howdy kept on awkwardly refusing out of guilt and empathy.

Nobody is calm about this.

"Really y/n, I know that you have a big ol' heart and I'm sure you are more sturdy than I but I don't wanna work yourself ou-"

RING~

"Oh, helloooo?"

A familiar calm and soothing voice entered the shop.

The two froze, not expecting someone to walk in despite the 'OPEN' sign clearly still hung up.

The charismatic puppet followed up by a shinning star took notice of the two and greeted them.

"Hello, Howdy! Hello Hearty!"

Sally chirped.

"You guys seem to be in a kerfuffle!"

"What's inside that box if I may ask?"

The two customers leaned in with curiousity. Y/n suddenly let the box go, Howdy struggling for a second before softly placing it down.

"Now friends, hold on your horses... Let me ask what you are in need first?"

The robot pointed at their list.

"Oh! Me and Wally were able to come up with an idea for our play! We're just here for some materials!"

"Well! The handcraft items should be other there!"

Howdy pointed in the direction from behind the robot.

"While you lot do that I'll handle this."

"But I'm just so curious!"

"What's inside that box if I may ask?"

The box was so stunning that it seemed just impossible to take everyone's attention off of it!

"I'm... not sure actually. I only know that Eddie sended it to me saying it was from Frank."

"I definetley don't remember providing him any products to send you."

Howdy looked at Y7/N4 who seemed to furrow their brows.

"...How about we open it?"

Wally suggested. Howdy looked back at him in surprise.

"B-but we can't just do that! I've been told not to open it before Frank arives!"

"Why did Frank even send this anyway?"

"Do you have any more information to provide, Howdy?"

Y7/N4 the provider of Howdys products questioned their friend. The catapillar began to recall his memories.

"Hmm... Well, all that Eddie told me was to be gentle with it and wait until Frank comes back just as I said. Though... I did hear some weird noises coming from it..."

"Ooh! Ooh! A mystery to solve! Does that help, detective Hearty?"

Sally faced Heart Bot with expectancy.

The Robot gave a shrug before snatching a pair of scissors from behind the counter. Howdy paniked at this.

"Wha-what are you doing?"

"Procceeding to open the package. Is it not obvious?"

Heart bot tilted their head.

"We can't just do that! It'll be rude!"

"As far as I'm concerned, maybe you should start considering the safety of your shop first, friend."

The catapillar opened his mouth to say something though quickly slumped back down.

Howdy mumbled something but stood back, clearly not excited as the star next to him. Wally looked between the two though shrugged it off. He seemed to prioritize his curiousity first.

The singular organic heart, wired through Y7/N4's circuits stinged for a moment.

They didn't understand much, though they continued to follow through their inicial plan.

Wally and Sally stood by with interest, Howdy not so much enthusiastic as the scissor made it's first cut.

Then the next, then the box now had an opening in an instant. It was still closed, ready to open at any given moment. The room filled with suspence as the robotic hands slowly made it's way to open it.

"...Everybody ready?"

"Ready."

"READY!"

"...ok."

"Alright, on the count of three. Three, two, one..."

"JULLIE!!"

"JULLIE?!"

The doors of the shop opened in sync with the reveal of the package.

Inside the box was a pink, snoring friend who was curled up in a ball, wincing at the sudden exposure to light.

As her groan echoed, Frank who slammed the doors of the shop took notice and rushed over, pushing the others aside.

"Jullie! I told you to not slumber upon the packages!"

"But they're soooo comfyyyy...."

Jullie began to snuggle back into the small box while Frank tried to pull her out.

"Inside the mystery box was... A FRIEND?! Golly, what a shinning discovery! Good job, detective!"

Sally playfully hit the shoulder of the robot next to her.

"Detective? Mystery? What in the world are you going on about??"

Frank angrily demanded an answer, pulling up sleepy Jullie who mumbled complaints annoyed.

"First of all, may I know how... this, ended up here?"

Y7/N4 got up, brushing off debree from their legs.

"I was packaging framed butterflies for Howdy as he was looking at my prized collection with great intent! Jullie insisted on asisting with boxing but..."

Frank glared down at his friend who made an innocent face.

"... decided that she wanted to be one with the cat..."

"Hm... A cat I see."

The group looked back in surprise, jumping at the sudden voice behind them.

It was Barnaby, with Wally suddenly appearing on his shoulder.

"What a Catastrophy of events! It seems that Jullie is purrmenantly banned from helping with boxes eh?"

Barnaby joked earning a few laughs from a few.

"Since when were you there, Barnaby?"

Jullie peeked through her silky hair.

"Just a few moments ago! The Narrator and Poppy were talking bout somethin I wasn't really interested in particullar so I came down here out of boredom. And for treats!"

Barnaby smiled with glee.

Again, the room filled with giggles.

Frank rolled his eyes though sighed in relief that he was able to find his friend safe.

"At least I know you're here. It is very unusual for you to disappear without a sound so I was worried sick!"

"Oh Frank, you're such a friend!"

Jullie hugged the grumpy neighbor.

Everyone began to chat, laughing about the silly situation. Laughter combined with Frank's light scolding and Jullies nonchalant jokes echoed through the building.

Though, opposing to the light and peppy atmosphere, the shop keeper and factory worker stood at the side, away from the party.

It was very quiet.

It was very tense.

It was also pretty awkward, to say the least.

Howdy fidgeted with his two sets of hands, while 7Y/N4 kept on buzzing ominously in silence. They felt short glances being flick at them from time to time, which they took notice easily. Their circuits were screaming to break the silence, a weird grip was tugging on their organic heart.

So that's what they did.

"... My deepest and sincerist apologies from earlier, Howdy. I understand that I may have scarred your pride and care for your buisiness."

That sure was one way to start.

Howdy was surprised by the sudden ice breaker, though quickly formed a reply.

"Oh no no no! It's totally alright! You haven't done anything wrong really!"

"Ah, then I must've irritated you by trying to carry the box as you seemed to be in distress and how I keep on visiting you through business purposes."

"What? No! What gave you that idea?!"

The robot tilted their head as if they were confused.

"Dear Howdy. Howdy Dear. Howdy... pillar. Yes? no? Well, for my reasoning, you seem awfully tense escpeacially in my presence. "

They put a hand on his shoulder.

"It is alright if you are uncomfortable. You are my friend after all."

Howdy looked back down at Y7/... ahem... y/n's face in an attempt to sort out his thoughts.

"It's erm... nothing much really it's just... may I ask you a question?"

"You just did."

...

"Oh, er... of course!"

"... Well, do you really think that I'm... careless about my own business?"

There was a moment of silence.

The robot seemed to freeze at the question. It was a long period of time as Howdy began to wonder i they had crashed in some way or another. As he was waving a hand infront o their face, y/n snatched his hand suddenly making him jump.

"Of course not. Do you even think that I am not observant enough to realize the passion and love you put into your prized and most beloved, sweet, cozy Bugdega?"

The catapillar was not expecting such a detailed response.

"Err- well, no but you said-"

"Apologies for my unclear intentions... What I was trying to say was that-"

They looked back at everyone who seemed to began going back to what they were originally doing, getting over the Jullie incident.

"-you should focus more on how you percieve your customers, and how that can affect your shop, Yourself even. It is not uncommon to have strange and dangerous orders to my factory."

Y/n let go of the catapillar's arm as they faced him with sincerity. Howdy took ahold of his wrist surprised by his friend's words but noded understandingly.

"Oh, um... I see. "

He looked around.

"Well, now I think I understand actually. I usually struggle to question most but... Thanks y/n. You're really such a friend!"

A genuine smile spread across his face.

"What can I say? Is there anything this detective can't solve?"

y/n attempted to imitated a silly yet smug pose, successfully earning a laugh from their friend. They imitated a sigh in relief, also making static giggle noises at their happy friend.

Although the two failed to notice, the others were actually watching from afar, content to see that the tense atmosphere died down between the two. Sally and Wally had completely forgotten about the materials!

Y/n patted Howdy's shoulder lightly as they motioned to the sky. Looking up at the sky, it was begining to get dark. Taking notice, they flipped the sign to 'CLOSED' and began to start tidying up the place.

Howdy soon rushed over to help, thinking back on the last thing the Factory worker said.

"...No. I don't think there's anything you can't solve with that determination mate."

"Oh, there's only 28 apples by the way."

"WHAT-"

My welcome home AU EXPLAINED

The "HeartStrings💕" AU

So basically short explanation, Giffany from Gravity Falls but Wally. But! Also DDLC but the cast of Welcome Home.

But the in depth explanation :

The AU itself is close to DDLC but Wally himself is more like Giffany, as in like his abilities!

But its not like the reader is IN the game no, the reader buys the game.

The plot of the AU itself is basically

Wally x Reader

Sally x Reader

Julie x Reader

Poppy, Barnaby, Frank, and Eddie are also in the game but are not romantically involved with the reader! The others will be considered as "route choices" but the book is truly just Wally x Reader.

This game is called: "Strings of their hearts". I don't know where I want to take this story yet, if I want the cast to have a good end or a bad end (as in like the ending in DDLC, where you are trapped with Monika forever till you delete her) or a "happy" ending, which I won't disclose since I already have that planned out and there is a possibility I could use it! I wouldn't want to spoil it nono! And I don't know if I want to end it at all, but I know that'd be impossible so an ending is inevitable

If you have questions please feel free to ask, as I might have not covered everything that I wanted to (curse my memory!) This is the basic covering of the AU itself.

Now onto the game!

The game will start by opening up to a screen (most of this will be described in the first chapter I will make when writing it all out) it is old and lagging but the reader persists! The game will go about the reader moving into a neighborhood and meeting all of their new friendly neighbors over the course of TWO DAYS. (Tbh I'm kinda just writing this out to remind myself the plot so I don't forget) meeting the "love interests" on the second day. You will have two months (in game) to get a date with one of the love interests!

You get to know each individual character to become friends or more (minus Poppy, Barnaby, Frank, and Eddie ofc) and that is all I can really say without spoiling the book!

The reader will be gender neutral throughout the ENTIRE story, as their gender is not needed for the book, I will try not to use pronouns at all but if I do they will be [They/Them], to try and be as inclusive as possible as I can.

This story will take place 2000-2005,[update: I changed it to be set in 2023 🤭] and the reader is an adult (this does not matter really as there will be ABSOLUTELY NO. NONE. ZERO. Nsft in this book, even if Clown changes their boundaries and opinions on it, the only reason they are an adult is because the cast are adults and this is a romance book)

And of course, if I am going against ANY of Clowns boundaries PLEASE tell me and I'll fix or delete what I did immediately! We respect clowns boundaries in this household

Summary: Wally was on his way Home to see Eddi rather distressed looking for... him? Why is that?

Wally's pov

I'm walking down the street to go Home, Sally really talked my ear off with her new play. I look around to see Eddi with something that looks similar to red paint in his hands, he looked frantic? Scared, maybe?

"Wally! Thank the rainbows I found you! Something happened to M/n and Home seems angered, I think I don't understand that house," sighted an exasperated Eddie leaving me confused. Home angry, M/n? What could happen?

"Eddie, please tell me that is red paint on you...," I said softly while Eddie looked at the ground sighting.

"I wish I could," was all he had to utter for me to ran back Home. Home's door was broken open and they seemed exasperated, right next to my red arm chair lay M/n holding his stomach while gasping softly for air.

"Hey pretty... boy," said M/n softly while he looked at me with those beautiful eyes of his only that now they looked dull. I had Eddie pick him up and take him to Poppy since she will help him out, I need to know what happened.

"Home... who did this?," I asked softly knowing Home would never hurt M/n on purpose. Home started squeaking and banging multiple thing in a rapid way. They were rambling but I only catched the words 'Josh', 'beat up' and 'M/n' which gave me all the information I needed.

"Can you see him?," I asked to which Home very slowly answered with a squeak of the door which made me smile.

"He ran to the woods? Silly, silly...," I said while walking to the hidden closet inside of Home's walls. I grabbed my axe and started walking away from Home but before anything I need to make sure M/n is okay.

I hide my axe in my pocket and run towards Poppy's house, to see her sniffing softly. She sees me and her eyes seemed to widen in regret.

"Don't tell me he is dead Poppy," I said softly to which she shook her head in an agitated way, I walked towards M/n to see him cover in bandages which made my heart sink slightly. I place a kiss in his forehead and look at Poppy.

"He is in something called a coma but he should wake up in a couple of weeks time," Poppy said making me nod. I get M/n a last kiss in his hand and walk outside and start heading towards the forest to where Home said he should be. He is trying to reach the division between words and that I'm not going to allow that.

The forest and his bloody prints lead me towards him to see him standing just over the edge. I charge towards him and grab him from the back of his shirt before he could jump and throw him against a tree.

His eyes widened in shock seeing me standing only a few feet from him and that shock soon turned to fear when he registered the axe which made me laugh. I bet he didn't feel fear that often!

"Oh Josh, silly, silly. You should have left M/n alone when you had the chance," I said before lifting up my axe and taking the first swing of what would be hours of suffering for this piece of trash.

I walked before sitting at an open coffin noticing that there was a bouquet of flowers; picking them up hi saw types of flowers making me fill up with sorrow "roses for eternal love, lilies for sweetness, baby's breath" I sight before troughing the flowers on the ground with anger "why so blue?" I turned to see Sally sit next to me rubbing my back "maybe they're right, maybe we are too different" I said sadden by that fact "maybe they would like their head examined" home said as I forcefully pulled him out from my ear "I could do it" Home continued "or perhaps they do belong with him, Mr. Living with those rosey cheeks and beating heart" I said with jealousy 'like really what do they see in him or... maybe I was quick to conclusions but still!' I thought of what happened more clearly "oh, those boys are just ten a penny, you've got so much more, you've got-you've got-you've got a wonderful personality" Sally stuttered

🎶 What does that that wispy little brat have that you don't have double 🎶

🎶 He can't hold a candle to the beauty of your smile 🎶

Sally started to chime in

I placed Home down harshly while thinking of Gold with that man

I was at the ledge where me and Wally first shared names; laying down on the seat as I hugged myself while looking at the view

I had finally calmed down when I heard a 'meow' looking down to see Rascal with a bouquet of flowers in front of him before he nudged it with his head towards me. I sat up before grabbing the bouquet of flowers and inspected each and every one of them before Rascal hopped up "...why couldn't I just do what I was told..."I whispered as I kept looking at the flowers "If I had just done what I was told then no one would be hurt, everyone would have been happy" I picked out a lily knowing that Rascal was there to listen

"... but then you wouldn't have been happy" I was froze not believing the voice that spoke the same that belonged to..... "...Jewel?"

I finally looked and there she was even if blue she looked the same as she did all those years ago. She gave me a warm smile before I tackled her into a hug "...big sister..." I felt myself crying again and tried to stop it as she hugged me back rubbing my head "oh, Gold let it out, I'm here" she said hugging me tighter as I started to cry harder "that's it, there you go, good job" she rubbed my head more helping me calm down as I slowly let her go "now tell me what happened" she said gently grabbing my face as I nodded

I started to explain everything, not skipping any details as Jewel listened intensely "I wanted to talk to Howdy, just to tell him that I didn't leave because of him and that he's a good person and should find happiness elsewhere but then Howdy confessed to me and Wally appeared and-and" I had to stop myself from crying so Rascal climbed onto my lap so I could pet him "a-and he saw Howdy and n-now he's mad at me a-a-and" I stopped as Jewel rubbed my back "it's okay Gold, I know that everything is messy right now but I also know that everything will fall in place and that everything will be happy at the end" she said before grabbing my hand "but right know you need to focus on you, what do you want to do," she said "I-I... I want to be happy" Rascal pressed his head against my hand "then what makes you happy?" Jewel asked "Wa... Wally" I said covering my face with my hands to hide my blushing face "then do what you need to do" she said as she kissed my forehead as I gave thet Rascel and left so look for Wally

"It's true, mother! Gold is married to a dead man, I saw him! a corpse! standing right here with Gold!" I tried to explain

"Gold was in your room?" She asked me "I have to help them!" I said thinking of the worse "the candle!" My mother shrieked"oh dearie, come sit, your shakylike a leaf! here I'll get you a blanket" the family maid Ms. Beagle said before rushing off to fetch me one leaving me here alone with my mother "fetch him a straightjacket! He's completely mad!" She shouted at Ms. Beagle before she went and locked the door from the outside so I couldn't leave

My brain was still foggy after what happened, how could they just disappear like that? How could they be so calm? I couldn't do anything here I needed to leave and get help, sure I could ask Ms. Beagle, she has been like a grandpa to Mr but I don't want to get her involved in this plus I need greater help, I need the pastor

I grabbed the blanket that Ms. Beagle had fixed for me, I would apologize later, and used it to climb down from my room and made my way to the church before franticly banging on the door for the pastor to open "Mr. Pillar, what are you doing here? You should be at home, prostrate with grief" he said

"Pastor Galswells, I have to ask you something" I begged "this is most irregular" he said "please I beg of you, you are the only one in the village who knows what awaits beyond the grave" I kept begging "a grim topic for a groom-to-be" he said finally letting me ask my questions "can the living marry the dead?" The pastor looked at me like I was mad which was understandable

"What on earth are you speaking about?" He asked "please, it's Gold, they're married to a corpse, they have a corpse groom! There must be some way to undo what's been done" I begged again "mmm, I believe I know the thing to do, come with me" he blew his candle as I followed him

But he tricked me, dragging me to my mother "he's speaking in tongues, of unholy alliances, his mind has come undone, I fear" the pastor said "it's not true! Let me go! Let me go!" I protested as I tried to get away from his grip but dang he was strong for an old man "then you so very much, take him to his room!" My mother said to the pastor before closing the door and handing me to Ms. Beagle "no, I'm telling the truth, Gold needs my help, Ms. Beagle, you believe me, don't you? Mother, father, please" I begged trying to get away when Ms. Beagle picked me up and started walking to my room "seal the doors, and bar the windows, see to it that he doesn't escape again" my mother scream "they need my help! Let me go! Let me go!" I kept screaming, wiggling, trying anything to get out of Ms. Beagles grip but nothing helped 'wow so this is how she would hold Barnaby when he acted up, dang this mama has a strong grip' I thought

As I was put to my room by Ms. Beagle staying by my side "oh my dear boy are you alright" she asked "no, no I'm not" I tried not to cry "my dear you acted to reckless down there, you might be labeled as mentally ill and sent to the loony bin if you keep this up" she said smacking my head gently "heh gosh I'm just, what I saw was real, I don't know where Gold is but with that corpse around them I dear for their safety" I said " Howdy, my poor boy, maybe he is actually their lover and they divided to run away" she said and i looked at her shocked "maybe they loved each other before this remember you are in a arranged marriage" she said before I interrupted her "but they came here to talk to me" I said

"Maybe they felt bad about running away and wanted to tell you why" Ms. Beagle said she had a thing for looking for the good in people "even still I need to know if they are alright" I said sadly "you love them don't you" she said rubbing my back "I guess I do get attached easily" I said shyly as Ms. Beagle rapped me up in a blacket. She then left leaving me with my thoughts until I heard my parents down stairs "will this mortification never cease? It will be years before we can show ourselves in public again?" I heard my mother say, I bent down closer to the floor to hear more of the conversation "what shall we do?" I heard her ask most likely my father "we shall continue as planned with or without cold" "Gold" both me and my mother correct him

"Whatever" my father said not caring "for that child to toss aside a young man like Howdy... It is positively criminal" I heard Lady Julie 'what was she doing here' I thought confused "why, if I had a man like your son in my arms, I would lavish him with riches befitting royalty" she continued making my uncomfortable "your gentlemen husband is a most fortunate man" I hear mother say to Lady Julie "alsa, I am not married, I was betrothed some years ago, but tragety snatched my lover away" she said and I caught a bit of sadness at the end "when one lives alone, wealth counts for naught" she finished as I got up knowing where this Is gonna go and I had to leave. Grabbing a crowbar and tried to open the door for a few minutes until it opened but on the outside. I quickly hid the crowbar behind my back seeing my family

"Marvelous news, Howdy, there'll be a wedding after all" father said

I had to play the act of an oblivious fool "you found them?" I asked "we must have you looking presentable for Lady Julie" she said even if I know if the out come I was still shocked "Lady Julie?" I said "she will make a fine wife" my mother said "aye, a fortuitous turn of events indeed" my father said "a far better prospect this time" my mother remarked "but I do not love her, you cannot make me do this" I protested me unwillingness but they didn't care "we must" my father argued "please I beg you, there must be another way" I was begging at this point "without your marriage to Lady Julie, we shall be forced penniless, into the street, we are destitute" father barked annoyed "but Gold-" I wanted to continue with my protest but my mother cut me off "Gold Treasure has gone, child"

"You shall marry Lady Julie tomorrow" father said before they both walked to the door "according to plan" they both said before leaving and locking my door

Eddie's pov

My mind was twisting when I was called up by the Van Dort's for their carriage "oh, it's almost dawn! Where could they been?" I heard Ms. Van Dort's say 'maybe hiding from you' I thought "Gold Treasure, elopes with a corpse! Heartbroken groom to wed a newcomer" I heard the news say and so did the Van Dorts' "wealthy newcomer? It cannot be" I heard Ms. Van Dort said 'of course, more worried about the money' I snarled at these so called 'parents' "did he say 'corpse'" Mr. Van Dort said "oh, don't be ridiculous what corpse would marry our Gold" Ms. Van Dort said making me angry

'your Gold? YOUR GOLD?! YOU MEAN MY KID, NO MY KIDS THAT I RAISED AND LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY, HOW DARE YOU TRY AND TAKE THE TITLE OF PARENT AWAY FROM ME' I held the reins tightly making my knuckles white before I started to cough, but taking Gold's advice earlier, the cough was getting better

"oh, Eddie! ㅤㅤAfter being discriminated & ostracized by society for as long as they can remember thanks to Kastor's influence, Wally alongside Barnaby go out to find other puppets like them in order to create a circus, where they all started performing together. ㅤㅤHowever, this all came to an abrupt end when Kastor cursed the whole city, making all of them forget everything about the circus out of spite and jealousy; all except Wally, who now has to carry with the burden of remembering, while all of her friends don't.

3. ﹕ Story ,

ㅤㅤNo one ever liked them. None of them. They were considered weird, ugly; Dangerous. So they sticked together, supported each other, and thus formed a small family.

ㅤㅤAll of them had Something, were something others didn't like. Wally was too flexible; Barnaby was too big; Eddie was too strong, and all of them were monsters made out of felt to their eyes. They were easy to judge, so people took advantage of that.

ㅤㅤIt all started when Wally found Barnaby in an alley, abandoned and beaten up. They talked, and soon became friends; that's when they had the idea to find others like them, others who were ostracized by society. It didn't take long until they did; through sings, word of mouth and rumors, or by finding them in hidden places like dark streets or abandoned buildings. And so, they formed "Home", a circus of the city's "weirdos". ㅤㅤThey performed for others, with time gained their sympathy and admiration; their shows were fun, unique, mesmerizing. Everyone liked them. But most importantly, They liked doing them. They supported, took care of, Loved each other; they were finally happy, together.

ㅤㅤBut nice things never last, do they?

ㅤㅤIt started just like any other day; Wally woke up in the small room he rented with his share of the money made from the shows, got ready for the day and went out, heading to the tent they performed in to rehearse with the others. It was like a home, only there he felt like he belonged, only there he felt safe.

ㅤㅤBut it wasn't there. Home was completely gone.

ㅤㅤWally felt his heart sank. Did something happen? What could've possibly caused the whole tent to disappear overnight? She quickly approached someone she'd seen in the audience multiple times and asked them about it, but to his surprise, they looked at them with disgust and pushed him away, telling her to never approach them again before walking away, insulting him under their breath.

ㅤㅤShe quickly got up, running to the inn he knew Barnaby was staying at; they'd never seen him there, and added that they'd never let a freak like him stay there in the first place. When he got out, a man dressed in black stared at him from the shadows, mockingly smiling before turning away and disappearing without leaving a trace. Tears were already running down her face, ruining their make up and making other people stare at him with disapproval. "Why?" she thought, dropping to her knees, defeated. Why was this happening to him? What did they do to deserve this? Why was everyone so cruel? ㅤㅤAfter a few hours of walking around, he couldn't deny it any longer. To her horror...

ㅤㅤNo one remembered. Not even those who she thought of as family. ㅤㅤIt was like nothing ever happened. Like Home never happened.

ㅤㅤThis is a story not lost to time, ㅤㅤbut to a man's hatred and jealousy.

damn I haven't been here for a long time, well, I think that no one even noticed that I was missing :D

I probably should have posted this post as soon as I decided to draw my AU, but... to be honest, I didn’t want to show it just because Howdy’s face seemed crap to me...

a little about the characters :]

Sally: she is 17, nicknamed “buffoon”, she is cheerful, energetic and very emotional, which is why she most often cries, even if she is having fun, and she is also ready to do anything to ensure that her performance goes perfectly, even if she has to sacrifice your health or someone's life...

Howdy: he is 29, nicknamed "long", he is calm, polite and patient, Howdy is a seller of cursed things and nightmares, but also sells ordinary things, such as food, medicine, tools, etc. and he also has a black cat named night :D

Barnaby: he is 40 years old, nicknamed "Bobik", a playful big dog who likes to drink moonshine, sometimes his head detaches from his body and rolls around the whole village, even if Barnoby himself does not want this, so he sews his head to the body , large thick threads

Eddie: he is 32, has the nickname “leshiy”, the local forester who guards the forest and kicks out anyone who goes there, pretends to be angry and rude, but believe me, in fact he is a very good and warm-hearte

Poppy: she is 41, for her caring nature she received the nickname “mother”, she is soft-hearted, although sometimes poronitis, but in such a place it is normal, she loves to do handicrafts and she is also a good potion maker and also the most powerful magician in the village, although magic she rarely studies, and it’s better not to come to her at night, because of her curse it’s dangerous.

Frank: 34 years old, nicknamed "Smoky", cold-blooded, but curious, when it comes to the next "anomaly" he forgets what self-preservation is, but when studying these "anomalies" he is always helped by Eddie and Julie, Frank is also that rare resident of this village, who is not a native resident, but at the same time decided to stay in it.

Julie: 25 years old, nicknamed "Wolfbane", introverted but loves to play, can often be seen dancing at night in the cemetery, she is a witch and also a half-breed because her mother is human and her father is a demon

Wally: 21 years old, nicknamed “khudo”, is engaged not only in drawing but also carving figures from bones, but unfortunately, lately he has had an art block... he hates Sally, because of her mistake his face has become disfigured, with It is very difficult for him to carry on a conversation; he often just remains silent and looks at his interlocutor

I finally got around to updating Johnnys reference sheet and now has a fully body and a little bit more information!

Before being forced to join the family, he was a candy shop owner, making candies and doing deliveries! Once a month, he would go to Howdy’s bar to deliver a large shipment of strawberry mints. One day he unfortunately arrived at the bar at the wrong time, right in a middle of sort of meeting/argument. He tried to excuse himself and claimed he didn’t hear a thing but Wally didn’t trust that and assigned Eddie, Julie and Sally to go to his place and simply destroy it. Sally of course decided to blow it up , leaving Johnny homeless and forced to turn to the mob as he felt like his life was threatened and he wasn’t safe anywhere.

He ended up getting his stitches because he was fighting to the death between another innocent person who owed the mob.

Johnny does have a massive crush on Howdy and Barnaby and is conflicted who he likes , but he honestly wouldn’t mind both.

I didn’t do much to the updated ref, just replaced Johnny and made him more desaturated! Also Johnny now has hearts instead of circles and a lot more stitches

Regarding Johnny: I did have a concept of Home using him sometimes when Wally wasn’t available, also thinking Johnny has so much potential but refuses to use it as he doesn’t really seem like the violent type. So when Home uses Johnny, his stitches glow red and so does his eye and of course he’s more crazy and violent.

I want to create more content from this AU in the future, making silly scenarios between the characters and my ocs! I also wanna bring in Andy Dear, Eddie’s little brother. I will probably do little sketches here and then when I have breaks from collage!

Random facts about Moonblessed AU

You know, I have a few facts about Moonblessed Wally and such, so why not copy paste them here? in a little ramble mood for my AU so here's random facts: -The Moonblessed AU takes place in the same neighborhood as in OG, but there's two blue moons in the sky which seem to be able to give "blessings" fitting for each neighbor. -Blessings come in form of items or abilities (Example: Wally's paintbrush | Sally creating illusions for her acts) -Blessed neighbors have white crescent pupils in their eyes

Some Wally facts: -Wally's shoes have blue crescent moons under his soles instead of hearts -Wally also is a very cuddly person and occasionally purrs when he is near people he likes -He loves cheek kisses, they make him feel giddy -There is a high chance he has probably painted an apple before and then tried eating it, only to realize it doesn't taste like an apple (He was coughing up sparkles for the rest of the day) -He painted star freckles that look like his on Home so that they can match <3 -Aside from apples, Wally loves to eat jelly beans a lot, so make sure your jelly beans are safe because he might want some -He also likes when some foods have sparkly sprinkles or edible glitter on it, he just stares at it intently -If you cuddle him, he will probably just stay on top of you for as long as possible and purr loudly when he's super comfy -He also probably feels super happy sitting on your lap whenever you cuddle

Sally: -She still loves doing her acts like OG and puts on a show for her neighbors to enjoy, putting lots of effort in everything -She can create illusions to make her act more lively looking, even control their movements -Sally is kinda like a big sister to Wally, she WILL fight you if you harm Wally -This one is obvious by her design, but instead of original Sally, she is a blue giant (or let's just say a blue star)! Home: -In this AU, Home is very friendly! -Home does feel a tad bit of jealousy however when the neighbors hang out together. Home wishes they could roam around the neighborhood like the others. -Other than that, the neighbors make sure to include Home as much as possible to not make them feel left out <3 (I will make more for each neighbor when I finally get to make their designs, I just don't have the energy for it atm ^^;) I also have some additional facts I made later on: During October in the Moonblessed AU, the two blue moons become blood moons until the end of the month. And the neighbors dress accordingly, changing from blue moons on their outfits to blood moons (like in the image I posted some time ago).

And finally, unnecessary info about their designs: I counted the amount of moons I threw into Moonblessed Wally's design (counting with symmetry and excluding the cape pattern because i don't have a consistent amount of moons on there) and I came to a total of 12 moons (earrings, pupils, cardigan, cardigan buttons, moons instead of hearts under his soles, blue hair streak (yes, those are blue moons as well.) Sally only has 4 moons in her design (dress and pupils)

And everything of it is coupled up as two because not only symmetry and stuff but also because the AU itself has two blue moons!

Welcome Home MedMurder AU!

I finally decided to make my own WH AU! It's an Eddie-centered Hospital AU but with a creepy twist. Let me tell you a little bit about the lore and characters! Please mind that it's a pretty new AU and many things might change!

• Eddie: admitted to a hospital after a terrible car crush. Due to the severity of his wounds he got his left arm amputated. Tries to solve the mystery of suspicious deaths of several other patients. Has a crush on Frank

• Frank: one of the doctors who works at the hospital. He takes care of Eddie during his recovery. Grumpy and serious, doesn't talk much. At first he thought Eddie was annoying but he warmed up to him after a while. Tries to keep his professional demeanor but everyone quickly notice that he might like Eddie back

• Wally: works as a doctor (surgeon) at the hospital, good friend with Frank. Likes to chat with his patients sometimes. Very good with kids. All the little patients like him a lot, because he knows how to make them laugh. Sometimes he gets repimanded by Frank as he can act a little bit too care free around patients

• Julie: friendly nurse that always make sure everyone has what they need. Likes gossip and often tends to talk a bit too much

• Sally: one of the patients, who's waiting for her heart surgery. Knows a lot of little details about the hospital staff, likes to sneak out of her room at night to steal snacks from vending machines and cafeteria. Constantly scolded by Frank when she tries to sneak some coffee to her room. Helps Eddie solve the mystery, intrigued by his suspicions

• Howdy: janitor at the hospital. He always makes sure that the place is clean and tidy. One day he overhears Eddie and Sally talking and decides to helps the gang solve the mystery of the hospital deaths. As a janitor he has keys to many places in the facility and knows the layout of every room by heart

• Poppy: serves food in the cafeteria. Caring and loving person, terrified by what's going on in the facility. Because of her cowardly nature she tends to make assumptions about (in her opinion) "suspicious individuals" in the hospital

• Barnaby: one of the patients, Wally's best friend. Loves to make pranks on others and telling scary stories. Used to work as a journalist and knows how to talk to people to make them say what he wants to hear

• Home: director of the hospital, rarely seen outside his office, no one knows much about them

The MO of the killer changes with every new death. They're highly intelligent and can get away with their crimes. At least they could until Eddie and his friends showed up.

Hello! I don’t have much art to post yet other than these sketches (going through Art Block!! D:), so I compiled a huge lore post explaining my version of the Welcome Home Magical Girl AU! Yahoo 👍

Magical Girl AU:

Wally: paintbrush, art magic, artist/apple

Julie: yo-yo, plant magic, flowers (both)

Frank: net, butterfly magic, butterfly (both)

Poppy: shield, healing magic, chef/plus sign

Barnaby: hammer, elasticity, clown/heart

Eddie: scissors, paper magic, paper/spade

Sally: staff, weather magic, sun/stars

Howdy: bag, item conjure, clover

(order: weapon, magic, theme/brooch shape)

* Home is the mascot and the source of most of their magic, which is kept inside fancy shaped brooches that fit character’s themes. Their brooches allow them to transform into magical girls!

* They fight monstrous goop entities that have suddenly appeared from a mysterious place, while trying to live their day-to-day lives in their neighborhood! The setting is about the same with more fantasy magical girl aspects.

* Everyone gets the standard magical girl abilities (enhanced strength, jump ability, durability, senses) plus a signature power & weapon. They can change the size of their weapon as they wish.

Wally - Wally is the leader of Welcome Home’s Magical Girl team! He has the ability to manipulate art by controlling paint, crayons, ink, and graphite. Typically, he uses his trusty magic paintbrush, which has everlasting and color-changing paint on its bristles. He can make any drawing, whether his own or someone else’s, into come to life as he wills. He’s mainly in the backlines painting creatures and items to help his friends, or just painting appealing shapes on the ground!

In a last resort situation, Wally can summon an ocean of black paint that will gradually swallow and drain the life everything in its path, even himself. While using this magic, he will be in an unresponsive state that can only be stopped under certain circumstances [force, death, or Wally just has to force himself out of it]. Paint hands will also arise to protect Wally from harm, but they can be destroyed or blown away, although they will respawn within a few minutes. The paint will immediately disappear and stop its effects when Wally snaps out of it. Eventually, Wally will be able to master this power and control this form.

Julie - Julie has the ability to grow and manipulate all plants, but she typically sprouts flowers and roots all around. Her weapon is a yo-yo that she uses to grab things, whack ‘em, and turn it large to roll somebody over! Julie is the first to spring into action when something goes awry in the neighborhood, usually followed by Frank (who’s always dragged into the fight. Poor guy!).

Frank - Frank’s ability is butterfly manipulation: he can summon swarms of them to disorient enemies, and he can also “see” through his butterfly’s eyes to spy. Frank’s magic also allows him to take on the physiology/abilities of butterflies, such as flight, cocoon generation, and poison spit. His weapon is a bug net, which he waves around to ensnare and smack monsters!

Poppy - Poppy is the main healer of the Magical Girl team! As is her role, she has the ability to heal all injuries and ailments. Her healing magic can also bless food, so you can take a bite out of her seed treats and feel better instantly. She hates battle and prefers to stay on the sidelines to heal her friends. In tense moments, out comes her mighty shield that’ll protect her and her friends from any sort of danger!

Barnaby - Barnaby’s ability is elasticity, which means he can stretch himself as far as he wants. It’s a useful power for grabbing things a little too far away, slingshotting, or just being plain silly. His weapon is a large squeaky hammer—even with its usual soft squeakiness, it could still hit hard with a bit of momentum from wound up arms (just like Popeye)! He can perform all sorts of crazy feats with his bendy puppet limbs!

Eddie - Eddie is the neighborhood mailman, of course, but when he’s not handling packages, he’s working alongside his friends in their magical girl escapades! He has the ability to generate and manipulate paper: it can fold and move according to his control. For more precise crafts or battle, he uses his magic scissors to snip away! Before he de-transforms, he always makes sure to create more paper for his letters and envelopes.

Sally - Sally has the ability to control the weather! Her powers can draw out different weather conditions, sun, rain, snow, (you name it) and direct towards a certain area too. Her weapon is a staff with a sun-shaped topper, modeled after the shining star herself. Sometimes, during one of her stupendous plays, she summons thunder for dramatic effect—which she quickly changes back to sunny before the wind and rain can destroy her whole stage.

Howdy - Howdy has the ability to create any object he desires. Technically, His main “weapon” is his bottomless bag, but he typically uses his other creations to support his neighbors. Although in desperate times, his bag can still totally pack(aha) a punch! Most of his creations stored in the bag, which he knows like the back of his four hands. He’s the only one who can even navigate it!

Random notes and trivia:

* Wally’s power doesn’t work on photographs, printed artwork, clay, and fibers (RIP he can’t control his funny cardboard cutout.. Eddie probably can though)

* Wally’s paintbrush can be used as a blunt object

* Julie can accelerate the growth of a plant, but its fruits/vegetables will taste lackluster so it’s better to just let it grow by itself

* Frank’s summoned butterflies are not alive unlike the various bugs in the neighborhood.

* Frank’s cape opens up like wings when he flies!

* Eddie is the only neighbor allowed to have a sharp weapon

* Howdy and Eddie can both produce paper

Silly me, thinking I was immune to the siren-like allure of Making a Welcome Home AU™...! Thus, here is my as of yet untitled Watership Down AU. Left-to-right lineup with breeds and lore-appropriate names + tiny info tidbits under the cut.

Left to right: Wally (dwarf plush lop), Barberry (Flemish giant mix), Jewelweed (dwarf lop), Fern (wild European rabbit), "Eddie" Edelweiss (rex), "Thousand-Legs" Holly (continental giant), Salvia "Sally" Star-Sedge (lionhead), Poppy (English/giant angora mix).

Six feral domesticated rabbits (and one wild rabbit) wake up with very foggy memories in a beautiful, grassy warren. The warren is unusual in design, with strange materials in its tunnels, food sources and surrounding barriers, unlike anything they’ve ever seen before. Its sole inhabitant is a very small, very docile lop-eared bunny with big, wide eyes. He seems to be intimately familiar with this warren, which he calls “Home” and speaks of as though it is a person in and of itself. He could not have constructed such a thing himself.

Still, this new warren is idyllic. There’s abundant food, water, shelter, and even a strange structure overhead to protect them from swooping hawks. The little bunny, who calls himself Wally, is glad to let the other rabbits stay here and share this place with him, and they soon establish a stable, friendly social hierarchy. Wally does not seem to understand how the other rabbits behave, but they are all grateful for his generosity and find him endearing, and are happy, as such, to teach him how to be a well-rounded rabbit.

It begins to seem like paradise… Yet something sinister lurks behind the green bushes, something which Wally can sense keenly, something he waits every night for, with eyes wide and heart racing.

This is not a Sailor Moon crossover! This is an AU where everyone in Cuphead is a magical girl and lead rather undercover lives. My inspirations are from Cuphead,Emily Martha Sorensen’s Magical Mayhem series,and old magical girl series such as Himitsu no Akko-Chan,Majokko Tickle,Miracle Shoujo Limit-Chan,and Sally the Witch. It will also be based on Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou-ii Desu-kara.

Cuphead-Name stays the same,transformation phrase is “Formal Open Wave Cup Power!”powers over care and love,transformation item and weapon is a wand

Mugman-Name stays the same,transformation phrase is the same as Cuphead’s,powers over the stars and light,transformation item and weapon is a wand

Elder Kettle-Cuphead and Mugman’s mentor,can transform without need for a phrase,has psychic,light,and energy-based powers,transformation item and weapon is a wand

Legendary Chalice and Porkrind-Elder Kettle’s mentors,the ones who gave him the charms in the first place,the Chalice apparently is Kettle’s mascot

Root Pack-Name is the same,have not detransformed ever since,powers are the same,plus agrokinesis,have no weapons

Goopy le Grande-The Goo of The Grave,transformation phrase is “This is what I live for!”,powerful super strength and immortality,plus shapeshifting,transforming item is a pill bottle,weapon is his magic box gloves,which can break any substance apart

Hilda Berg-Starshine,transformation phrase is “You lost too soon and I was only half-moon!”,can see the future and has space and sky based powers,transformation item is two star bracelets,weapon is the weather vane on her head

Ribby and Croaks-New Super Frog Bros,haven’t detransformed since,superstrength and ninja fighting skills,have no weapons

Cagney Carnation-The Black Rose,transformation phrase is “Extreme pollination and total domination!”,plant and flower-based powers and agrokinesis,transformation item is a compact,weapons include his Flower scepter and his intimidation skills

Baroness von Bonbon-Sweet Tooth Witch,transformation phrase is “Magic powers of the sugary,lend me your strength!”,sweets-based powers,transformation item is unknown,weapons included her candy rifle and a scepter

Beppi the Clown-Name is the same,hasn’t detransformed ever since,shapeshifting and magic abilities,has no weapons

Djimmi the Great-Name is the same,hasn’t detransformed since,powers stay the same,weapons include his magic and his dreaded sense of humor

Wally Warbles-He and his son are The Breakneck Bird and the Brainchild,respectively,both haven’t detransformed since,Wally has velocity and speed-based powers while his son is psychic-based in power,weapons include a stopwatch for Wally,X-Ray glasses for Junior,and each other to pitch in
