as I'm working away on my fic planning stuff I had one image that I couldn't get out of my head until it was drawn and then realized I lowkey forgot how to draw Nigel?
No matter what I did, it just wouldn't look right. Then I switched brushes and all was fine again suddenly? I also missed drawing Tessa with her hair down so there's a few sketches of her too lol

Maybe it's just me but it really bothered me how Timmis is held in higher regard as a changed Kaylon than Isaac is infront of the union and I'm glad one of the admirals called it out by saying Timmis didn't change someone flicked on his empathy switch. Dont get me wrong I appreciate Timmis's introduction but I've always loved that the Kaylon were purely logical being and evolved as they were with out intervention.
That's why the Admiral's statement was so interesting. Because he wasn't *wrong*.
Timmis' evolution is held in higher regard because - regardless of whether it was outside tampering or not - it was *successful*, as far as they know. Humanity puts more stock in visible, large success than in small steps; in overt and direct demonstrations of friendliness over aloofness; call it a biological flaw.
#Jemi talks the Orville#anonymous#also technically the kaylon didn't fully evolve without intervention#they started questioning without intervention yes but the builders added that upgrade#that made emotional response possible - they took it from there but they very much had that first step done for them#issac's system was directly tampered with by the kaylon to encourage a different path of emotionless beings#their evolution has always been somewhat controlled in some way#honestly i'm not surprised - up until now they still didn't really like him beyond his usual circle#and even some of them needed to come around#saac in spite of his evolution created a rift and bad blood#he directly betrayed them after 'being up close'#timmis had no such baggage attached to him so of course they're going to see that more in a favourable light

Rumour: Knuckles mini-series to be six episodes long, according to script supervisor's social media page.
Paramount's upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog mini-series, Knuckles, may be six episodes long, according to a social media page of the programme's script supervisor.
The Linkedin page of Holly Johnson also reaffirmed the programme's cast, namely Idris Elba as Knuckles, and Adam Pally as Wade Whipple.
However, it did not specify the duration or release date of the episodes. Paramount has yet to officially confirm the detail.
