Okay here's 2 of the ref sheets I made of my S/I Chloe for my assignment hhh I cant believe it took me this long to make a proper ref sheet of her and it's because my school forced me to do it 😂 It's in two art style because we have to emulate at least 3 art style of our choice and I just bullshit my lect and say i was following Clone High and SJ lmfao

I forgot this was in my draft lol but anyway I'm so glad I found this post because other than it being a very brilliant way to explain fanfiction, I also think it's a brilliant and useful way to put where your s/i oc would belong in your f/o's show

Im going to talk about Chloe obviously and just explain where I think she belongs in the ppg timeline.

If you've been here for a while and endured my Utonium brainrot, you probably noticed that I have 2 version of Chloes, the normal one and college au one.

This is the one you guys have probably seen hundreds of times before. White shirt, green apron, red pinstripe skirt, very basic.

For me, this version of Chloe belongs in the Addition category. She belongs in the canon timeline, not a prequel, not a sequel. I just think that she belongs in the present time where we have the Powerpuff Girls and their Dad/Creator is Professor Utonium. There's no changes, everything that happens in the show stays including Utonium's dating history. Think of it like she's been there in the show this whole time, it's just that she's some random npc civilian in the story and she has not met Utonium yet. The show ended with an open ending, no cliff hanger or anything, it just, ends. So I like to pretend that the story still continues and Chloe and Utonium met in the middle of it hhhh.

As for this version of Chloe, since this is a College AU, she would belong somewhere in the Alteration category.

Despite being the same Chloe, this version of Chloe isn't really the same as the canon universe Chloe. For starter, the age gap between her and Utonium isn't that far unlike her other counterpart (btw I should really update my selfship template for the canon universe because I changed my mind about the age hhhh Utonium would be in his late 40s while Chloe is in her mid-late 20s hope that clear things up hhh)

Her backstory also changes slightly where she didn't move to Townsville to follow her partner and ended up working there to support herself. This time she is in Townsville simply to pursue her study. Her origin still stay the same though, both of them grew up in a big yet troubled low income family.

This also means that since this is a College AU, Utonium isn't a professor yet and the girl's doesnt exist yet.

Now this makea me wonder, what would College AU Utonium and Chloe be in 10 years? I haven't think of them both being in the canon timeline. My idea would be that Utonium eventually will make the girls but that is because both of them find out that they both can't have kids ;w;

Anyway, I think everyone should utilize this guide and talk about where their s/i oc would belong in their f/o's respective universe :3

Okay so hhh I've always wanted to make this ship chart thing for this AU since I do think there's a bit of difference between canon Utonium and him when he's younger. I also wanted to make it since I enjoyed doing the previous one here. I'm putting all of my thoughts and HC of them in College AU undercut just so it doesnt clutter yall feed :3 (also here's the template if anyone's interested on making their own version!)

I HC that he's more of a meek guy and doesnt really talk to people outside of his very small circle and field of interest. He doesn't have the same charisma as he does when he's a lot older. So for this AU, I wanted it to be more like Chloe helped him a lot on building his confidence and self-esteem.

So in every au I think of them (there's 2 rn, though I excluded the one in the canon timeline so like i guess it should be counted as 3?) I always like to change their dynamics just a bit. Where in the canon one is mostly Utonium is the one that plays a major role in changing Chloe's life, I decided to reverse the role and had Chloe having a huge role into becoming the confident man he is in the canon timeline.

I already talked about them here if anyone wants to know more about this AU but to put it simply, Chloe's is pretty much quite known in college because she talks to almost everyone and overall very friendly around people. And because of this nature of hers, when she met Utonium for the first time, her instinct is wanting to get to know him more since she doesn't have that many friends from the science stream and always wanted to befriend people the opposite of her. Though it's pretty challenging at first because Utonium's pretty socially awkward around people he didn't know and he gets easily flustered around girls too hhhh.

Anyway, most of the charts here based on them when they already date so it kind of didn't match Utonium's initial personality when they just met.

It took me a while to figure out what their personality and zodiac would be but I ended up making Utonium an INTP because I read this very cool analysis of PPG character here and it's very spot on with his personality. Utonium's overall personality also matches a Virgo where they tend to be hyperfocused and pretty passionate about their work to the point it has to be perfect (which is unfortunately totally me 😔😔😔 yes i am a Virghoe too) Chloe on the other hand didn't take me too long to figure out, I decided to make her birthday around the time I created her which was June 16th so that makes her a Gemini. I have to admit that i didn't know anything about zodiac and I looked up on Gemini's personality and it's actually very spot on??? A brief description of Geminis that I read is thay Geminis are flexible, extroverted and daring. They are considered to be a social butterfly due to their interest on socializing with others. As for flaws, they're indecisive, impulsive and quite nosy. And that actually sums out Chloe's personality hhhh

For pet names, it would be just the same as what they would call each other in the canon one. Utonium would just call her with the usual sweet pet name like honey and sweetheart, but when they're truly alone, he tends to call her Love. Chloe is a playful girl, so I feel that she would definitely call him Babe or Baby. When they're alone and it's a very intimate situation, she calls him Kenny because he's sensitive about people calling him with his first name and only people he really deems very close and knows him personallh would be able to call him with his first name.

Anyway I am very sleepy and happy I'm able to draw and make this jajdkala I'm going to sleep now and continue gushing about them later the moment I open my eyes hskskslql

Lowkey wanna call myself out rn cuz of course before bed I realized I always design my s/i to have short hair hhhh

Undercut since i attached my s/is here :3

Jsyk all 3 of them are actually the same person. She's in a mob, her codename was Camellia (Cami for short) and her real name is Yui. Her hair was blonde initially but she ended up leaving her natural hair color on 2 years after shes together with my previous f/o lol

Also for the brown hair one (with the green apron), its still the same person, just that she's in an alternate universe where everything is normal and she works as a barista instead :3

Chloe's design is loosely based on Yui's AU design. I wanted to make her much more feminine and also sexier? Does that make any sense? Idk but I wanted to make Chloe to be the opposite of my previous s/i where they're recluse and introverted, Chloe's more of a social butterfly and embraces her look more instead of wearing baggy clothes to cover herself. I also wanted to have her body much more curvier almost like a hourglass shape and I had fun adjusting my style closer to the one in the show just to show her figure hgnnn. I also added the love curls because I thought it would look cute on her and i just want to show the quirky elements of her hair lol. The curls are actually quite animated (but I rarely show it because i always forgot to do so lol) and it changes shape depending on her emotion at that time. Like for instance, if she's caught off guard, her curls would freeze into a zig zag form.

Im talking too much here for someone that clearly needs sleep hahah thank you for reading me rambling about my self-inserts at 4am

Thinking of baking cakes with the girls because it's Utonium's birthday hgnnn the girls always wanted to make cakes but their dad barred them from using the oven because they set the kitchen on fire multiple times to the point he has to install a louder smoke alarm in the kitchen and only let them cook when he's around.

Chloe is in charge of baking the cakes and layering them but she let the girls have free reign over the decoration. The girls argued about what to put on the cake throughout decorating time. Bubbles wanted to put flowers on it and picked a pansy from the garden but Buttercup dejected, calling it gross and too girly for a grown man like the professor so she grabbed her hot wheels toy and put a truck on the cake. Blossom calls both of them dummy because both of them aren't edible and say she should be in charge of decorating since they're both too dumb to think of what to put on top. They all argued and argued until Chloe put a stop to it and tell them all of them can decorate and it has to be edible and all of them need to work together to make it look nice for prof.

They all went ahead and put tons of decoration like sprinkles, tiny edible pearls and such to the point it almost cover the whole cake. For the writing on top they ended up using chocolate syrup instead of icing since they girls went ham on the icing for the decoration hhhh The end result looks chaotic but Chloe actually didn't mind and think it's really cute, she wanted to make the cake look more like they all did it instead of herself being the one that did all the process and she also wants to make it look like the girls are very much involved in the making too ;w;

Utonium kept himself cooped up in his lab the whole day since he's been very hyperfocus about finishing his job so they aren't that worried about him finding out what they did in the kitchen. They ended up suprising him in the lab and he was pleasantly surprise to see the girls with their cake and also Chloe since he didnt actually expect her to be home since it's the weekdays. He blew the candle and thanked everyone for the nice surprise and the cake and give everyone a hug and a kiss on the cheek and an extra kissy on the lips for Chloe.

He asked if there's any special meal they set up for him and when they say they didn't (regrettably so since they're so focused on making the cakes ;w;) he smiled and say they all should clean up since he's bringing everyone to go out for dinner to celebrate.

Utonium always forget about important dates including his own birthday, he's a busy man after all and he prefers to drown himself with work just to forget about himself being alone. He couldn't recall any time he ever celebrate his own birthday before he has his girls. But after the girls were born, he's glad to have them accompany him in his big home and filling in the void he always try his best to ignore and truly loves being their dad, he's grateful to be blessed with 3 perfect sweet little angels. And after he started dating Chloe, he's much more grateful to have someone that would love him and return all the his feelings he has for her.

So maybe that's why he doesn't mind how crunchy the cake is from all the decoration his girls puts on the cake and how salty the cake taste because he knows Chloe puts salt instead of sugar in the cake since he switched up the containers when he refilled it the other day.

The cake was awful but the love all 4 of them put into making the cake just for silly ol' professor makes him ignore all of it and he eats them all up with a big smile on his face.

Ok so a few nights ago i said i wanted to talk about Chloe's relationship with the girls but i passed out right after posting it so before i passed out again for the night I'm just going to type this one out hhh

I probably write this before (im going to dig through my archive later lol) but anyway I imagine that the girls doesn't really have an issue with Chloe and they could get along well. But I think they would have a bit of a trust issue initially (especially Buttercup) since they all have seen how awful Utonium's previous 2 relationship was (I mean hhh 1 just wanted to take an advantage of him while the other one made him neglectful and forget about them for a while)

Despite that, they're still polite to her (other than Buttercup shh im not trying to slander her i love my babey buttercup), they would greet her and engage in conversation with her. Blossom is a smart girl and I'm pretty sure she's trying to make herself sounds smart all the time just to make herself looks good lol. Chloe would entertain her smart talks and listening to her intently and asked her back some questions and she's so happy that she would listen to her yapping away about what she read in her textbook.

Bubbles is a bit timid, her voice is tiny when she talks to her at first but eventually she starts to feel comfortable around her when she sees her drawing one day and she tell her how pretty it looked. Bubbles likes to help her around the kitchen and her favorite is helping her baking because Chloe would let her taste bits od cookie dough.

Buttercup is a bit of a tough cookie to crack. She's not entirely rude to her but she prefer not talking to her at all and only reply a few words when it's necessary. Despite that, Chloe still tries her best to talk to her and include her in conversations whenever they're all together so she didn't missed out.

Simply put, I feel that Blossom and Bubbles would be more accepting of Chloe and it didn't take long for them to trust her because all they wanted is for their dad to be happy and have someone that could take care of him like he did to them and I'm sure

Buttercup actually would feel the same way too, but she's protective of Professor and the thought of him being either taken advantage of again or have their sisters being ignored again puts her guard up ;w;

I imagine that buttercup only slowly accepts and believes her when she see that she tries to be available for them and try to connect to them by bringing them out without their dad and even try to participate in their event. I like to think that one of the incident that kinda open her eyes is when she brought the kids out to pick up cake for Utonium's birthday and let them choose a gift at the gift and souvenir shop so they could give it to their dad. She wouldn't tell him that she bought it for him and tell them to promise her not to tell him about that and make up a little white lie about how the mayor paid them one time and thats how they bought it hhh.

Anyway, ashskwkqla i love them so much ahhh i just want them to hang out and do things together 😭😭😭😭

Ugh im so sleepy but ahh the thought of Chloe going out with the girls without Utonium makes me cry 😭😭😭 I imagine that she just wanted to bond with them and know more about them and she doesn't want them to think she's taking away their dad. Maybe she offers to for grocery shopping for the house and brought them along to help her out (and maybe let them buy snacks Utonium wont let them have ;w;) She would definitely bring them to the toy store too and let them pick 1 toy each and also gushes about how she used to adore barbie dolls and tell them shes used to buy the bootlegs one with the babies inside lol. She ends the day driving them to the ice cream shop and ate there before she call Utonium what he wanted for dinner and she's on her way home hgnn.

I need to go to sleep but my brain was thinking of younger nerdier Utonium and hhhh look at how scrawny he is I want to give him a sof kissy on the cheek before giving him a wedgie 🥺💕

Anyway I hcd that he's probably not as charismatic and charming as when he is older and the thought of him being shy around girls is tearing me apart rn. I can't run away from the usual 'Chloe is a waitress' au because I can't really think of her being other than that and im not that creative enough to think of her in other job that suits her so yes she is still a waitress but I think like they way they met is that he goes the diner one night with a bunch of his 'friends' affer a movie and they all left him to pay for the bill. Chloe don't usually talk to her customer out of her usual greetings and care about them but she probably synphatize him (because he looks like a lost mormon boy lmfao) and get better friends because they're clearly taking an advantage on him. She would ask of he has enough money for the bill and he said he does but barely and she said she couldn't help him and cut the price (but she actually did give him a cheaper price because fuck fnb and also she knows the owner wouldn't notice.

Utonium is shy around Chloe at first, he stutters and pauses a lot when he talks but she's very patient with him. She would think that he is cute and quirky and enjoy teasing and talking to him a lot. It took him a while before he felt comfortable talking to Chloe and other girls in his uni. I dont actually think they would date until later years when he's a bit older and starts to look at her at a different view. He realized how supporting she is of him and throughout his time trying on dating with other women, he realized how she never actually go on dates herself and always tells him about how she wished she had a guy like him to date and joked about them dating and it finally clicked on him that she's been sending signals to him this whole time lol

I actually wrote about it here and here if you want to read more about Chloe's relationship with the girls but basically she always loves the girls, she thinks they're really adorable and sweet. Chloe has always loves kids despite growing up taking care of (or babysitting essentially) her younger siblings and they gave a lot of hell to her lol. Utonium talks about his kids to her sometimes and she thinks they're precious and also adores how Utonium manage to take care of his triplet daughters all by himself. She always wanted to meet them and dropped a few hints about having dinner together at his home.

I think she suits IU's dlwarma the most! She's carefree and she doesn't care about things happening around her!

She's a waitress at a diner downtown townsville.

what does your s/i have most in common with you? what's different about them?

The only similiarity would be both of us are waitresses lol

For differences, there's a lot for sure. For one she's hotter than me and personality wise, she is friendly and a lot of people would find her approachable. It have this funny quirky thing called permanent resting bitch face syndrome and it deters anyone from approaching me. I'm also much more awkward irl and I don't talk unless it's necessary for me to do so.

Chloe is more like an opposite of me honestly. Most of my previous s/i is a reflect of me, especially personality wise. So Chloe's is my first time making my s/i more joyful, carefree, optimistic and also friendly as my previous s/i is gloomy and reserved hhhh

if your s/i was an animal, what would they be?

A squirel. There's no reasoning other than her hair curls reminds me of the curls of a squirrel's tail.

how did you get the idea for your s/i's backstory?

My previous s/i has a complicated backstory. It's hard for me to explain about her backstory because wat is ingles and I feel that my backstory isn't as cool and complicated as other's backstory in my previous fandom despite how much I do feel that her backstory is very packed. I don't like the feeling of having to make complicated backstory just so I could relate to other selfshippers in that fandom zzzz.

I'm glad that PPG is pretty much a laid back simple show because I'm not a very creative person and I actually prefer domestic life over being entangled with mafia and shit lol.

With that being said, I actually don't have a heavy backstory for Chloe? Since I'm still working on it (in my head lol you'd think I would ever put it in words) but basically, she came from a lower middle-class family with 6 siblings so she didn't get enough attention growing up since both of her parents work to support her siblings. She moved out at 18 to pursue her studies but while in college she met a rich guy and they ended up dating. She ended up flanking her studies in her early 20s and dropping out since she doesn't bother to study nor go to class and instead went to partying and moved in with the said guy before they broke off and she moved out again to a sketchy small rent house downtown. She ended up taking a job as a waitress at a diner to pay her bills. None of her family knows what's she's doing and she's pretty embarassed to admit that she dropped out of college and tries to keep it a secret from them.

For the conflict, I would say that she would probably feel overwhelmed knowing how much Utonium has accomplished when he was at her age while she has nothing other than a high school diploma. So she always feel doubt about herself not having a higher education and achieve any goals (or havin one actually) despite being in her late 20s and even more so when her boyfriend is pretty successful and has everything someone would ever wanted. She doesn't like the thought of having to rely on Utonium 100% and worked harder to pay for all of her bills and basic necessities to the point of exhaustion. Someone really needs to tell her she can just move into Utonium's house and offer to split the bills and chores without feeling any guilt, she's too hard on herself ;w;

I also feel that the other conflict would be that during her prime years going to parties and clubs, everyone knew her as the wild girl and years later when her friends found out she mellowed down, ended up working at a diner and then settling down with a humble reserved nerd would put her friends off and even more so when they knew the age gap between them.

💗: what was your first impression of me?

Chloe: Oh? Honestly? Nothing.

Utonium: Nothing?

Chloe: Yeah, you look kinda plain to be honest and I see other men dressed like you walked through the diner's door almost in every shift.

Utonium: Oh, well that's quite anticlimactic,

Chloe: Yes but listen, somehow you really stood out to me, dressed in all white, hair neatly gelled. You ordered the same food every time you come in, a stack of pancakes and a cup of coffee. And you sit at this one specific booth, right near the windows. I remembered you rather wait for the booth to be vacant instead of taking any other booth. I started reserving that spot every Wednesday morning because of you.

Utonium: You did that for me?

Chloe: Well... yeah. I noticed that you like to look at people walking while you think about what to scribble in your little notepad of yours. You should really thank me for giving you inspirations for your ideas sweetie.

Utonium: Um, honey, I think I should come clean.

Chloe: Oh? What's that?

Utonium: I was actually staring at you throught the window reflection. I really thought you were pretty and I was really nervous about asking you out.

Chloe: *Giggle* You're a dumbass.

🍓: what's your favourite adventure that we've shared?

Chloe: It's dumb, but I really enjoyed going camping with you and the kids. I never go to camping growing up since I can never afford it. We sneaked out of the camper whilst the kids were asleep, tucking a bag of crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars under your coat. I've never see so many stars light up in the dark skies, and I remembered you excitedly pointed out every constellation in the skies. I don't know any of it but seeing you happily pointed me out the shapes of stars while you're so close to me near the fire makes me feel so safe and cozy. We weren't home but I feel like we're at home at that time.

Utonium: I loved it too, I feel the same way as you did. We should go camping again.

Chloe: Yeah we should. With bug repellant this time

☀️: what is your favourite thing about our special, intricate love?

Chloe: Im pretty shy to admit this but I'm really glad you loved me without ever caring about my previous relationships and past. I love how you wear your hearts on your sleeve and say i love yous and give kisses even when I didn't ask for it. I love the way your eyes sparkles when you see me again after not seeing each other for a while. I love it when you pretended to listen to me going on a rant about dumb shit I have to deal, while you hold my hands reassuringly, you gave me 3 hand taps when you see me getting too heated. When we have an argument and I dont want to look you in the eyes, I love that you made me stop and had us talk when both of us calmed down. Its very dumb for me to say it but I really appreciate you loving everything about me, you made me feel whole and wanted and honestly I never ever feel that much love from a person, ever. I'm so flawed, I have no goals in life, I dont have any qualification, I don't contribute anything to society, but you picked me out of all of the good people in this city and you made me feel like I'm worthy of your love . I don't have enough words to describe any of your love at all and frankly I don't think this does justice to you at all but truly, I love you very much.

Utonium: Honey, I didn't pick you, you picked me. You're the one who had to hold my pen and made me spell out my numbers while you help me jot it down for you. I liked you for almost a year back then and even so, I never had the nerve to ask you out properly. You introduced me to a lot of things, things that I missed out a lot in my youth. Sneaking out of the cinema when the movie almost ends just so we go watch another movie playing next room, you made me get hooked on shawarma from that one sketchy truck. I have tons of our pictures in my wallet because you like taking pictures in photobooths when we go out. It sounds pretty minor, and it probably does but I've always have to act rational, mature, something that expected from me when I'm reaching my 40s and it doesn't help that I have kids too. When I'm with you though, I don't have to keep that image and it was really fun when I'm with you. You gave me too much credit but you're not as flawed as you make yourself be. I will try my best to remind you that you aren't flaw at all, hopefully you dont mind the random kisses when I see you. I love everything about you, to the point I don't feel like I deserve you at all. But here you are, smiling ear to ear in my arms. I love you.
