Been reading a crossover fic on ao3 and it got me thinking

what's your type in fictional characters?

there are several ways that this question can be answered and i don't know which you meant so im going to answer all of them slkghdsf in terms of attraction stuff: this is weird bc aroace-spec lol and it varies WILDLY. but a) always a man bc im gay as fuck b) often but not necessarily has long hair/is androgynous in some way (see: kaname date) c) if they dont have long hair, they have to be a gamer and i WISH i was fucking joking about this in terms of 'my favorite character in a thing': depends wildly on the game as well, but it's usually the protagonist (e.g. junpei, date again), the best friend character (e.g. ryuji sakamoto), or a/The villain who is (usually, not always) a foil for the protagonist, a la the aai2 major villain. im also a sucker for characters who are definitely on the side of good in the end but have some dark tendencies keeping them from being anything but morally grey. gestures at 999 for that one you Know Who in terms of 'who i want to cosplay': usually overlaps with 'my favorite character in a thing' unless they're a woman (get too dysphoric about that even now), but also sometimes doesn't depending on how much i adore a character's design. example: sherlock holmes dgs is a new addition, but pewter aitsf and yuki rurikawa are also on the list. i love them all but none of them are my absolute favorite characters in the thing, but their designs. mwah. beautiful. love them. very good

i know it's not your main fandom anymore, but do you still like persona/persona 5 and plan to do more stuff for it in the future? no expectation or anything, i just was curious bc i always love your persona stuff

at the risk of sounding like an ignorant fake fan, persona 5 is my favorite of the persona games but i got super overwhelmed a couple years ago bc i felt like i wasn’t allowed to draw anything else and that’s why i moved away from it

i think i’ll be picking up royal next year if i have nothing else to play (the only 2022 game on my list is aitsf 2 as of now) so i imagine i’ll be drawing more p5 stuff then! in the meantime i just kinda draw ryuji whenever i feel like it lol

also looking forward to whenever they reveal p6 :)
