AITA for killing my cousin's dad after he imprisoned me in a well for 33 years?
So basically, when I (40M) was 7, my uncle looked after me one afternoon. I was on a swingset going too high and next thing I knew, I hurled myself into my family's well. For some bizarre reason, my uncle decided to drop me in the well.
I somehow survived the fall (although I DID break my glasses unfortunately). Like I said, I was trapped there for 33 years, barely surviving on food and water that was dropped from above. It wasn't until my cousin (17F), who we'll call R, found out I was in the well and help me get out finally.
Skip forward 2 years (don't ask), and I'm having a chess match with my uncle. We both accepted the following agreement: Whoever wins gets to strangle the other until they die. And because I'm writing this post, you can probably tell I won. So I got revenge on my uncle. Great!
Unfortunately, it seems R is a bit upset with me. She somehow already knew that my uncle was supposed to die, but I guess she felt bad because I did kill her father and she was the one who helped me do that. Still, I was hoping R would be more understanding about my situation.
