GET TO KNOW THE CHAOS CLOVER ☘️
Juniper!
minis by One More Multiverse.
She's the little Halfling whose backstory is completely unknown (even to herself). Unlike the others in this party, Juniper was a native from the Rumblecusp Island and lived together with her 3 grandma's in the woods where Vokodo didn't have reach. But, when they passed away, Juniper set foot in this world so that she could know it better... only to be stuck in Vokodo Island for six years. But when the Mighty Nein appeared and saved them, she joined into the line with other five Rumblecusp survivors who would now be the Chaos Clover and join her in discovering the world.
A fun fact about her: she is very superstitious and believes in the color green. So much that she decided the path they would journey onto by a three leaves clover. But the team name would be suggested by #FinlasBeltune and #CamelliaThelidryv after this event.

Why the Moon Weaver Intervened
I’ve seen some speculation as to why Sehanine, the Moon Weaver personally intervened on Rumblecusp given that the gods did not intervene when Vecna was about to ascend or when the Cult of the Angel of Irons was about to free the Chained Oblivion. Why now? Why this?
Full disclosure, I’ve been stanning the Moon Weaver for months and think she’s awesome. So I may be biased, but I do not think her motivations are as petty as she’s angry someone impersonated her and tried to pull a prank on her, the goddess of trickery and pranks.  It’s more than that, this is someone tricking people into worshipping her. Yes, she is the goddess of trickery and pranks (among other things), however, she’s also a goddess of love and freedom.
Seize your own destiny by pursuing your passions.
Walk unbridled and untethered, forging new memories and experiences.
Let the shadows protect you from the burning light of fanatical good and the absolute darkness of evil.
She doesn’t want anyone to LOVE her because they were tricked into it and think she’s someone else. If someone chooses to follower her it cannot be a trick. It has to be with fully informed enthusiastic consent. She will not allow, cannot allow, anyone to trick people into worshipping her. It would be wrong.  Jester suggested it because she didn’t want anyone who needed a god to be stuck without one and thought oh, they can just switch gods and think it’s been the Moon Weaver the whole time. She gets followers. They get a god. Everyone is happy.
Except, the Moon Weaver doesn’t want followers who were tricked or manipulated into loving her. Manipulating someone into a relationship with you is wrong. By pretending to be the Moon Weaver, Artagan also put her in a position where to those followers she was the Traveler. It’s not consensual if you’re tricked, if you think it’s someone else. She is not going to let him put her in a position where she’s vicariously violating their trust and consent. So she lays down the law, and lets them know that if anyone wants a relationship with her, she’s there for them and will never lie to those who love her.
And I apologize if all this talk about consent makes this sound like ‘something else’. (I am against comparing anything that is not rape or sexual assault to rape or sexual assault. I will not throw around words like ‘grooming’ or approve of sexual predator metaphors applied to anything that’s not actually sexual predation. As a survivor, I believe that it is a particular kind of awful that should not be compared to anything else.)
However, I believe fully that all morality is based on CONSENT. We talk about it terms of sexual morality, because it comes up since there are some who think sex is immoral based on things over than consent (marital status, sexual orientation, number of partners, kink, etc) and far too many who do not understand what consent means or that it’s important.
However, consent is the basis of all morality. It’s the difference between a job and slavery, between a gift and theft, and yes, between sex and rape, but it’s more than that. It’s everything. Making anyone do anything, except in extreme circumstances (i.e. where it’s necessary to protect someone e.g. jailing dangerous criminals until rehabilitation, removing children from abusive families, getting someone who is harming themselves help), without their consent is wrong. That’s why Sehanine, the Moon Weaver, intervened. No one would be led to follow her without their fully informed consent. If they want her, she’s there for them, but it has to be their choice to make without any deception.

You're a bard, having an absolute horrible time after a nasty storm left you shipwrecked on an island. You think it must be Rumblecusp
Thankfully, you're not the sole survivor, so you and a couple of the others fend for yourselves rather well on the beaches you landed on. You're collecting plenty of green vegetation to make an sos fire for any passing ship that might pass by. Your hopes sink that you'll be saved with every passing day
You feel like you're being watched
After almost two weeks you're cautiously approached by the islanders. You'd never known that there were people who lived on Rumblecusp. They're kind and helpful, inviting your group back to their village. They feed you your first meal in days, and you find yourself happily playing for the villagers on your lyre. They love it, and you comfortably sleep with a roof over your head that night
You feel like you're being watched
The next day you and your fellow crew offer to help around the village before you ask to be guided back to the beach. You all return and await a passing ship
You're being watched
The villagers return. They offer to bring you back so you can live a little safer for a few days. You agree, along with the others. You eat, you play your lyre, you enjoy yourself. You hear them talk of their god, Vokodo. To each their own, you guess
You feel like you're being watched
After a few days you and the crew return to the beach, but some decided to stay with the islanders. They were nice, life was easy, why leave? For a moment you consider staying too, feeling the reasons why you'd want to leave escape you. But you return to the beach all the same
You feel like you're being watched
More time passes, more back and forth between the beach and the village, and every time you pull out your lyre you find your musical repertoire growing smaller. You figure you just need more practice - and now that you're living in the village, you have plenty of time to practice outside of your hunting duties
You feel like you're being watched
You keep playing for your friends, keep playing the only song you know on your lyre. You hope one day you'll be able to play for Vokodo
You feel like you're being watched
One day, a group of adventures finds their way to your village. They're colorful and interesting, from somewhere away from Rumblecusp. You wonder what that must be like, being away from the center of the world, from the tether of Exandria. One of the adventurers, a tall, pale woman, pulls out an intricately carved harp after dinner. She plays beautifully, solemnly, hauntingly, and its the best performance you've ever heard
You hope that you can play that beautifully some day
You feel like you're being watched. You hope Vokodo liked the performance too

Okay I feel dumb, what am I missing
don’t worry it’s a lot. anyway thank you for asking so I can show you what my thought process was during a boring work call.
short answer: Sylas’s death leads to Delilah’s pact with Vecna and their murder of Percy’s family, which leads to Percy developing the gun, which leads to the use of black powder technology, which means that when Fjord sees a ship that appears cutting edge but is outfitted with ballistae rather than cannons, he knows it’s fairly old.
Long answer:
Sometime about 25-30 years ago, Sylas Briarwood dies in Wildemount. His wife Delilah enters into an agreement with Vecna to bring him back.
Delilah is expelled from the Cerberus Assembly for necromancy and leaves the empire with her husband (now a vampire). They set sail from Port Damali and make their way towards Whitestone, in the northeastern part of Tal’Dorei, on Vecna’s orders due to Whitestone Castle, which is not only on top of a former temple to Ioun, but also is in a region rich with residuum.
The Briarwoods deceive the De Rolos into inviting them for dinner and proceed to kill most of the family. Two of the children manage to get out of the castle. Cassandra appears to fall as they run away. Percival barely escapes with his life.
Percy, after a few years as a sailor and believing himself the last survivor of his family, is visited by the demon Orthax who gives him a vision to help him take revenge on the Briarwoods. Percy accepts and immediately starts work on a gun.
At some point in all of this the Briarwoods also entered into an alliance with Dr. Anna Ripley, a talented scientist, to help with the residuum processing.
Percy gets arrested by a corrupt official while tracking down information about the Briarwoods. He’s found in prison by a few adventurers and mercenaries who have begun working together. They break him out and he aids them in their quest and joins them.
The group of adventurers begins to develop some level of renown, eventually saving the sovereign of Tal’Dorei and his children and naming themselves Vox Machina. They are invited to join the Council of Tal’Dorei.
At some point in this the Briarwoods and Ripley learn of Percy’s whereabouts and his gun. Ripley begins replicating his work. The Briarwoods meanwhile reach out to the Sovereign in Emon.
Percy hears of the Briarwoods at a council meeting and asks to be kept abreast of their actions.
The Briarwoods attend a dinner in Emon. Percy reveals his past to his friends and disguises himself as one of his party members, while that party member, Vax’ildan, sneaks into the Briarwoods’ quarters in the castle. He is caught and despite proposing a threesome fails to diffuse the situation; Vox Machina enters into combat with the Briarwoods. The Briarwoods flee, taunting Percy and inviting him to Whitestone.
Vox Machina, after some preparation and digressions, goes to Whitestone. A lot of stuff happens but the important part is that they find Anna Ripley in a dungeon, disguised as a villager, and while they see through the disguise they let her free as a potential uneasy ally against the Briarwoods. In the middle of another battle she manages to escape; Vox Machina fails to stop her or kill her. She isn’t seen again in Whitestone, although Percy retains her weapon and confirms she has replicated his production of a gun.
Vox Machina does not catch up with Ripley for over a month, during which time she has spread information about his invention across various parts of the world while tracking down the vestiges, since she has been spying on him through the weapon she had left in Whitestone and which Percy began using. Additionally, due to the Chroma Conclave attacks Whitestone is on a war footing as a free city with significant protections and the sovereign’s family; some gun usage among the Whitestone guard is permitted as a defense.
While Percy did not intend usage of the gun to spread, Ripley ensured that it did; black powder technology becomes if not widespread, at least available worldwide. Within about 20 years, the average reasonably well-outfitted vessel from the Clovis Concord on the continent of Wildemount can be expected to have cannon technology.
In 836 PD, Fjord, a sailor from Port Damali who is traveling with his companions, sees The Eden’s Horizon on the island of Rumblecusp. It is recognizeable as being from Port Damali and as being an impressive ship that was likely cutting edge at one point, but is outfitted with ballistae, an older weapon relying on catapult mechanics to throw missiles. From this he can deduce it pre-dates widespread black powder usage.
