For the RQGversary, I would like to share this gorgeous piece, which @esperanzagalaxy did for me as a commission, featuring the two proprietors of the Hope and Heart pub.
Check out all of their amazing art, a ton of which is RQG, and happy RQGversary!
Hello RQG fandom! It’s been quite the hectic… almost eleven months now since Rusty Quill Gaming officially ended its run with RQG 218, Erasing the Line. And as to celebrate that event, as well as its fandom, I propose a small three day event! The dates were chosen in honour of us getting RQG to trend for three days on tumblr last year, alongside the actual date of the finale being published on 1st of December.
30th of November: "Beginnings, First Steps", day dedicated to the first time we listened to the podcast, what we started with (Specials or episodes), scenes from the Prologue and First season, and at 4pm GMT liveblog of Rusty Quill Gaming Episode 1 "Hello!" with either RQG Hello liveblog tag (#RQG Hello), or on one of the dedicated RQG servers, like Creating the Line, as if we're listening to it for the first time;
1st of December: "Anniversaries and Finish Lines", about our anniversaries with RQG and the in-universe ones, about birthdays and deathdays, about the Finale and the last thing you've listened to in RQG, with most of the posting from 4pm to 5pm GMT as to try and replicate the last year, as well as in honour of it;
2nd of December: "Freedom of Choice", literally anything you'd like to post, from AUs to metas, from fanart and fanfic to podfic and crafting, to every single little thing you'd like about the podcast and fandom!
The prompts are not rules, and I think it would be fun if we just had something nice and not exactly committal on the anniversary ♥
We also will have a collection of fanworks on AO3 celebrating the event, which will be opened until 10th of December.
Not only is it 1 year since the finale aired - today is an anniversary of sorts for me as well: I have just posted my 200th fic in this fandom.
Over the past two and a half years I have written over 675,000 words for this wonderful podcast. That's a lot of words. A lot of time. And I've enjoyed every single moment of it.
Here are just over 3000 more:

Summary:
They’ve spent the anniversaries of their success in saving the world in myriad different ways. Together, apart, merrily, or full of grief for what might have been. It is a difficult time, and none of them would dare suggest that it must be marked in a particular way.
But ten years. Ten years feels like it should be noted.
London Bridge, a RQG 218 quote by Myriad, aka Alex, for the rqgversary event
Image Id: the first reads “London Bridge Will Fall Down” in purple for London bridge, blue for will, and red for fall down, each color with its own line. The second reads “London bridge is falling down”,in red, blue and purple with the same line breaks. The third reads “London bridge has fallen down” in purple, blue and red respectively. Each word has drip doodles akin to falling water or blood.
the fact that Hamid, out of all the PCs, is never named outright by Bryn in the first episode, is kinda hilarious.
this character, who ends up THE ONLY ONE to go through the entirety of it, is also the one never named in RQG1 by Bryn, only by Alexander, because he either 1) assumed people listened to RQG 0, where he explains Hamid's backstory, name and heritage or 2) just didn't find a good enough place to introduce himself.
Let’s take a moment on this fine RQGversary and give a big shout out to all amazing artists we have in our fandom. You guys are so awesome and super talented! And so many of you still post RQG art even though the show is over! Thank you very much! I love you all! (Yes, if you ever posted any rqg fanart, it applies to you and I want you to be very proud of yourself)
The anniversary of the RQG 218, the finale of the show, is almost here, in a little less than a week! And so is the RQGversary, a fan event I am organising.
Today, I am revealing that we also will have a collection of RQGversary fanworks, that will have all of your fanworks posted on AO3, if you would like to share and preserve them that way.
Is this collection only for fanfiction?
Obviously not; it's for everything you post in celebration of the anniversary according to the prompts, from fanart and fanfic to podfic and crafting, to every single little thing you'd like about the podcast and fandom!
Are NSFW works allowed?
Yes! Celebration of fandom via works that are of more mature nature is perfectly valid, and, frankly, celebrated by me in the same measure. But please tag them according to AO3 rules; works that aren’t tagged properly won’t be added to the collection.
Will this collection close on the 3rd of December, after the event is finished?
Actually, I've considered leaving it open for another week, and so it will be open for late additions until 10th of December! So don’t feel pressured to post everything on AO3 within the RQGversary prompt days.
Thank you for reading this post, I hope you will reblog it and the edited version of the RQGversary post, and wishing for all of us to have a great celebration of anniversary soon!
