Requested Characters: Shiva, Buddha, Adam and a Bonus Character.

Notes: I'm sorry for not saying nish for like an entire month or more. And if this is ooc. 😔

Shiva

At first, he doesn't understand what you're doing when you communicate with him using sign language.

He's aware that some people are deaf or hard of hearing, but hasn't met someone who is.

One of the first things he asks you is if you can teach him. (My heart, my soul)

He's quite slow at first but gets good at it after a while.

He always remember to talk slowly, just so you could read his lips.

He introduces sign language to his family and pantheon. You told him he didn't have to, but he insisted.

He gets angry at those who act rude to you because of your condition.

But overall, he enjoys learning from you.

"So this hand sign means 'hello' right? Good, just want to make sure that I'm on the right track."

Buddha

This man...My heart can't.

He learnt sign language before he met you, but still decides to learn from you instead.

According to him, it's better to learn from you than anyone else.

You can't convince even if you try. (Just don't.)

Whenever the two of you are watching something, he always puts subtitles just for you.

He abuses the ability to use sign language against people, by saying the most horrendous things to people when using sign.

You often scold him, but there's no use since he always does it again.

Nonetheless, he is always there for you.

I won't apologize for having bias for him.

RoR: How do they take care of sick s/o (Shiva, Jataka, Buddha, Loki, Sasaki Kojirō)

Shiva

Shiva has never been sick in his life, so he freaks out a bit when you get sick. Not the most helpful companion you can find. At first he asks what to do, but if you are too weak to speak, then… oh well.

Shiva doesn’t leave his realm, so he doesn't know any natural, human remedies that could help you. He keeps you warm and sits next to you the entire time. He remains vigilant. Even he pretends it’s nothing, his wives can tell he genuinely worries.

Once the worst is over and you start to look more alive, Shiva does his best to keep you in a good mood. Say a word and he will even dance for you.

What’s surprising, no matter how hard you try, you can’t infect Shiva. He basically cuddles you, feeds you, and helps you change clothes all the time, and yet all the germs seem to ignore him.

Jataka

Jataka was sick himself, he knows it all too well. As soon as he notices the first symptoms, he is very caring. Even if it’s just a flu, he doesn't downplay it.

He prepares for you an ayurvedic drink. Depending on your symptoms, he will choose the right recipe. He makes sure you drink all of it, so don’t even try to argue. It’s a waste of time, this man is too stubborn.

Jataka provides everything you need, he even brings you a book to read or he reads to you himself. He is cautious and keeps his distance, but that doesn’t stop him from being very strict: he makes sure you drink enough water and that you’re warm.

Every time he checks if you have a fever, he caresses your cheek with his finger before moving away. It's the only physical thing he can do right now to show you his affection.

Buddha

His first reaction is to tell you to lie down. It doesn't seem to bother him, because it’s just the flu. He had it when he was human, it’s not a big deal, especially if you have everything you need right under your nose. But secretly it eats him up inside, to the point where he can no longer eat sweets. So he shows up on your doorstep with his very casual attitude and starts asking questions. He checks if you’re hydrated, if you have a fever, if you need anything.

Buddha was born in present-day Nepal, so he follows ayurvedic… a little. He knows it’s not 100% effective, but he still finds some methods solid. He would make you brew containing honey, tusi leaves and lemon juice, and force you to drink it. It’s the best for the flu in his opinion.

He sits at the proper distance, eats his sweets and talks to you. He isn’t the worst companion you can get. Isn’t the best either… Do you know how good this candy is? Oh, right, you don’t, because you can’t taste *smirk* Don’t waste your pillow trying to hit him…

Loki

Let’s be honest, Loki probably isn’t the best person to take care of a sick person. At first, he acts annoyed when you announce your condition to him, but after awhile when he sees you struggling with the easiest tasks, he begins to worry. Seeing you in such weak shape makes Loki a little, a bit… soft.

From what I’ve researched, the Nords believed that sickness was an attack of malignant spirits (often ancestors) on the body. Loki obviously knows better what’s going on with you, but I wouldn’t be surprise if he mentions this fun fact to you. He was probably the one who sold people this nonsense in the first place. Let's just hope you're not hallucinating…

Loki prepares you tea with honey and entertains you with his new diabolical plans of how to mess with humans. He doesn’t even need you to be active in the conversation, but it's nice to see you smile or snort from time to time.

Loki doesn't follow any rules (i.e. keeps his distance, washes hands) and he will probably end up sick as well. Guess whose fault it is? And guess will have to take care of him? AND guess who won’t lie in bed and rest but spread germs everywhere? That’s right…

Kojirō Sasaki

He is the sweetest guy you could have by your side right now. A little clumsy, but he has got a spirit.

Considering how observant Kojirō is, he'll probably be the first to notice the symptoms. Even if you deny it, he will prepare for the possibilities ahead.

Sasaki would prepare for you hachimitsu-daikon - it’s Japanese form of cough and throat syrup, made from honey and Japanese radish. Kojirō would make it for you just like his mother did when he was a child.

Kojirō doesn’t mind missing a few days of training, you’re his priority. He is with you as long as you need and entertains you with stories from his life. He can read you something until you fall asleep.

He makes sure you’re hydrated, always brining you fresh water or preparing ginger tea called shoga-yu. He doesn’t try to make you anything else, because he is terrible at picking herbs and might accidentally poison you.

It's not but I defo love this idea and this outfit. Jataka's so nice, he loves it, but it makes him sooooo shy. RoR x Replacement Fighter Part 3

Everyone was getting ready, picking their outfits as they had a pretty big event to go to (You can decide what it is.) And the reader finished getting ready pretty early

Reader's outfit :

So some of the gods/humans asked for the reader's help to pick & match their outfits.

Once they got to the big event, some people wanted to take pictures & videos to post online, to which the reader gladly helped out with. However somebody just had to trip on their own outfit while posing on the stairs.

Gods: Odin, Thor, Anubis, Loki, Hades, Beel, Buddha, Poseidon, Susanoo & Apollo

Humans: Sasaki, Lubu, Tesla & Jataka

-Many in Valhalla were calling for a party, a ball, to celebrate the unity of gods and humans as Ragnarok had ended and relations were improving as everyone was working hard to make things better for all.

-So, to make everyone happy, a massive ball was announced, with the fighters of both sides, including the Valkyries, would be the guests of honor, celebrating them all as they were the ones who caused this positive shift in their relationships.

-When you arrived, heads turned and eyes bulged, seeing how good you looked in your tailored suit, everything black, even your undershirt, except for the silver chains around your neck and the earrings and rings adoring your features.

-You looked AMAZING!! Men and women alike were gawking at you, something you didn’t realize, something (Love) could only face-palm over, seeing how oblivious to how HOT you looked!!

-(Love) approached you, wearing his own uniquely tailored outfit, showing off his chest a bit (I love the black outfit for them!!), greeting you warmly and you turned, hearing him before you looked down at his open outfit, “Aren’t you cold?”

-Nearby, Brunnhilde face-palmed, as (Love) had specifically wore that outfit to impress you, how was it that you were such a powerful and exquisite warrior, but you were so socially dense at the same time?!

-Others wanted to take photographs of everyone at the party, on the grand staircase leading into the party, and you decided to humor them, just standing there, but others were eating it up, asking you to look at them.

-(Love) decided to get in on this and posed with you, which made the fans even more excited. After about fifty more photos, (Love) turned to you, asking if you wanted to head inside, and you agreed and turned to head up the stairs.

-It was honestly breathtaking how quickly you turned, when (Love) tripped, his pants being just a bit too long for him and he was going to fall back, had you not turned and grabbed him, holding him in a dip, keeping him from hurting himself.

-The fans below were so loud, squealing while taking so many photos, seeing the, in their eyes, romantic situation as you pulled (Love) back up.

-You surprised him by giving him a rare smile, that almost looked like a smirk, but it wasn’t a smirk, “I’m glad I was here to catch you falling for me.”

-His mouth fell open, hearing your flirt as you had turned, your hands going into your pockets as he was stunned, not believing that you had just so smoothly flirted with him after catching him!! He felt like he couldn’t move until Brunnhilde gave him a gentle shove, to get him moving and he quickly ran up the stairs and into the party, looking for you, an almost feral look in his eyes. There were sides to you that you hadn’t shown to him or anyone else before, and he was determined to see them all!!

-Loki, Anubis, Buddha, Apollo, and Kintoki

-His brain had completely short circuited, there were lights on but nobody was home as he was stunned, unable to process that you had done that, from catching him to smiling to flirting, before walking off like nothing had happened!! Brunnhilde threw him over her shoulder, carrying him inside to set him on a chair, getting him water to shock him back away. She couldn’t help but smile, seeing that you were full of surprises.

-Kojiro, Nikola, and Susano-o

-Had been thoroughly impressed with your reaction time, as he hadn’t completely processed what had happened until you had him in your arms. If he was embarrassed he didn’t show it as he stared after you, after you flirted with him with no hesitation and with a straight face!! It seems like there was more to you than meets the eye, as he caught up with you, inquiring about your reaction speed, trying to gauge you, wanting to see more of your hidden sides.

RoR: Receiving a spell jar from s/o OR finding out s/o has an alter dedicated to them (Jataka, Loki, Buddha, Thor, Apollo)

Jataka (spell jar)

That’s very kind of you. Jataka had received gifts from others before, either because he was their prince, or because he was sick, and they tried to comfort him, but from you… it was a different feeling. Especially if there’s no occasion.

Jataka will ask all kinds of questions about the spell jar. He's interested in whether it's part of your culture or just a little thing that's been passed down in your family for generations. If this is important to you, he'd love to hear the details. Seeing how excited you are to share this part of your life with him makes him happy.

He holds the jar close to him. He doesn’t believe it actually has any mystical power, but it was created by your hands and that’s what’s important. You put your whole heart into it, so how could he not appreciate it?

Loki (spell jar)

The what? A spell jar? Pfft, hahahaha, how stupid of you! It has no power! It’s nothing! Silly human rituals…

And then he plays dumb if you find out he actually kept it. Good luck getting him to tell the truth. He would never admit that a gift from you is very precious to him. Of course, part of him wants it, but another part knows that you know the truth…

Loki likes to keep spell jar in his pocket, it’s small and easy to hide. Sometimes when he gets bored he just play with it a bit, wondering why he doesn’t just find you instead and play with you…

Yes, he will definitely pay you a visit.

Buddha (alter)

Oh? Did you do this for him? How sweet of you. But can you put some good candies on it? This is the kind of offer that interests him.

Buddha mocks you a bit about this whole thing. Nothing serious, of course, but he finds your altar amusing. He used to be a prince, he is a god now, and he still doesn’t care much about sacrifices, gifts, prayers, bows… everything that people do for those they consider superior over themselves. It’s just not his thing.

At some point he will tell you he doesn’t need it. He wants you to waste your time not on your alter, but on him. But once again - bringing the candies as an offering is never a bad option.

Bonus characters:

Thor (spell jar)

But do you remember that he is the strongest among the Norse gods?

He doesn’t need luck to win his fights, but once you point out that he might need it for other stuff, Thor will accept the gift.

He keeps it in his private chambers, in a safe place. Far from Loki’s hands (But let’s be honest, Loki will find out somehow anyway). Thor checks it every night before sleep, except when you share a bed with him.

He thinks you’re adorable with your little spells.

Apollo (alter)

The alter for him! Made by his sweet s/o! How lovely, how wonderful!

His narcissistic side is very pleased to see how much time and work you put into making something just for him. Apollo takes his time admiring the work of your hands. He asks questions about details and compliments profusely.

If he found out by accident and you’re embarrassed, don’t worry. Apollo wouldn’t mock you. BUT he may mention your little secret to Ares or Hermes (he’s so proud of you) and they might sneak in a few snarky comments.
