little fun fact: besides echo, i had a few other ideas for driver!reader. i ended up choosing the barrichello!reader one, but another favorite of mine was the fury, adrian newey's daughter who started as a toro rosso driver and became max's teammate at red bull! i used to call her maxine and it just seemed fun to have two mad max(es) in a team. i even wrote a whole dts-esque introduction to her, where will buxton said "when maxine gets mad, she gets fast." and i'd actually love to write this again lol
