Since I joined the force, I have seen five civilians die. Jeff Gretchen...heroin overdose. Hayley Spire...gunshot to the stomach. Frankie Vallette was a car wreck, and Walter Inman threw himself off the JP White building. And then you. You're the only one I saved. I was afraid of exposing myself, so I...I don't know.

Pony: [...] María:¿Tequila o Whiskey?. Michael: Oh, lo más barato. Ya te has quitado las muletas. Alex: Si, me molestaban. M: No hace falta que te vayas. A: Ya me iba. Michael: "Eh. Vamos a dejarlo así. El sexo fue épico, la ruptura debería ser un poco mas dramática, gritando, rompiendo cosas. Así parecerá que hemos terminado”. Alex: "A veces basta con lloriquear un poco, Guerin”. M: Bueno. Creo que deberíamos tirar una moneda al aire si sale cara me invitas y si sale cruz te pago. María: Ya te han invitado, de hecho.[señala mesa] 

Michael: No necesito tus limosnas. [...]M: ¿Una curandera? A Isobel le están fallando los órganos, unas oraciones no la van a curar. Mx: Llevo semanas buscando información sobre este símbolo y no he encontrado nada pero hoy buscando imágenes he dado con esto mañana. Este show para cerca de McLean y esta mujer dice que puede curar con su mano derecha. M: ¿Crees que ella es uno de los nuestros?. Mx: No lo sé, pero es la primera persona que conocemos que puede saber algo. Dijiste que esto podría representar un faro. Sigamos la luz. [...]

Campamento: M: Ouhh! Matriculas de Tennesse. Matriculas de NY. Esta gente esta desesperada. Mx: Si. M: Mierda. Mx: ¿Qué? M: Matricula de Nuevo México (se ven) Liz: Max! [...] 

Bunker: [...] Cameron: La forense que hizo la autopsia es Jane Holden. En 10 años ha hecho solamente 14 autopsias en Roswell, todas de gente sin hogar, adictos, inmigrantes ilegales. Alex: Gente a la que le da la espalda el sistema. C: Casi toda. La primera de las 14: Rosa Ortecho. Llevo bastante tiempo aquí y se que la gente conoce su muerte. A: ¿Crees que hay una conspiración?¿Por qué me das esto a mi?. C: El enemigo de mi enemigo es mi amigo y puesto que tu padre me ha chantajeado para que te vigile vamos a ser buenos amigos.[...] 

Camp:[...] M: Me gustaría ser una estrella del rock antes de los 30 así que..  Arizona: ¡Menuda herida tienes aquí! Para sanar esto necesitas abrir la herida que tienes en la mente todo el dolor que tienes ahí dentro. No será fácil. M: ¿Pero es posible?. Ari: Si. Pero curar una herida tan grande te va a costar unos 8. M: ¿Dólares? Maria: No podemos permitírnoslo. M: Nadie puede pagar ese dinero [...] M:(salen) ¡Max! Me ha curado. Mx: ¿En serio? M: No. Venga, tío. Ha adivinado que era mecánico por aceite de mis vaqueros. Ha soltado unas cuantas mierdas por la boca y puesto un precio que no podía permitirme ni en un mil de años [...] 

Bunker: Kyle: Así que te deshaces de tu padre, lo mandas a África ¿y te traes a una tía a tu choza?" C: Tengo 28 años. He estado en el ejercito 2 veces y podría partirte tranquilamente por la mitad. Vuelve a llamarme tía.  A: Te he llamado porque estamos buscando a una forense llamada Jane Holden trabaja en tu hospital. ¿La conoces?  K: Me suena su nombre. ¿Qué ha hecho? [...]  K: ¿Nos puedes dejar solos?. C: Para que los machitos se ocupen de esto. Escucha la vida de mi hermana depende del sargento Manes, ¿vale? Si fuera más inteligente cumpliría sus ordenes y le contaría todo lo que pasa. Pero un compañero podría estar implicado. K: Max Evans. Ya.  A: Y nos lo cuentas ahora, después de 6 semanas. C: Tu padre dio a entender que Evans podría tener algo que ver con esto. Y ahora podría estar relacionado con otra persona esta desaparecida su hermana. K: Isobel no esta desaparecida. Confiad en mi. No hace falta que os metáis en todo esto. C: Callate o se lo diré a la sheriff, de acuerdo. O incluso a Jesse Manes imagino que ninguno de los dos queréis eso. K: ¿Nos amenazas con decírselo a nuestros padres? Te arrepentirás, Jenna. Me paso igual que a ti.

C: Si. ¿Investigaste a un asesino en serie?. K: Cuentaselo. A: Si lo que dices es cierto no investigamos a un asesino en serie sino un asesino en serie alienígena.[...] Cam: Sabia que había algo pero que Max Evans sea un asesino alienigena. Ni me lo imaginaba. Alex: ¿Qué pensabas que era? Cam: No lo sé. Un hechicero asesino. K: Max no es ningún asesino. Bueno. Seguramente no. A: No lo es. Mi padre es un fanático sin una brújula moral. Nada que diga el hay que tomarselo a pecho. Kyle: ¿Todo el mundo aquí esta enamorado de Max?” Alex: Los depresivos no son mi tipo aunque sean altos”  Kyle: ¿Y es tu tipo un cowboy enfadado? Jaja. Por eso acabaste con el Proyecto Pastor para que tu padre no investigara a tu novio”  A: No, acabe con el proyecto pastor porque era una misión no autorizada que se aprovechaba de las fuentes militares para hacer daño a la gente.[...] K:  Me acaban de contestar. Cameron tenía razón. No hay ninguna Dra Holden en Roswell. Nunca la ha habido. A: Holden era una farsa utilizada por el Proyecto Pastor para ocultar esto. C: ¿Qué vas a hacer? A: El Proyecto P comenzo como tapadera de nuestro país no supiera de la existencia de los alienígenas, y no se creará el terror y el caos. Pero si hay un asesino cazando a gente vulnerable, el miedo esta justificado. Mañana por la mañana a las 8 el Proy Pastor realizará una nueva misión. Y esta vez estoy al mando. [...]

I’m sorry, but how does one guilt trip and bully a man into something he doesn’t want, when said thing is the ability to heal people (an ability he can’t use without endangering everyone he loves), while aware he feels that not saving someone is the same as killing them? When that man has expressed that he carries the weight of everyone he hadn’t saved, displaying the ability of most killers to give details and full names of each and every victim?

I've been reading your fics for the last couple of days (can't stop, won't stop) and I was curious about some things. First, if someone were to tell you: “I've just binge-watched rnm, and now I want to read fics about Malex”, which one of all your fics would you recommend them to read first/to start with? Second, which one of your fics was the easiest and hardest to write? And lastly, is there a fic that got a lot of reactions/attention that came as a surprise? If so, which one?

Oh dear…

Well, first of all, thank you so much for reading and letting me know that you’re reading, what a wonderful thing to wake up to 💕 The only reason I’m slightly concerned about answering your first question is because I have a devil of a time remembering my own writing.

(Seriously, I get notifications from readers having liked fics that I couldn’t even tell you what they were about, let alone remember them.)

But I’ll try. So first, I’d probably just recommend the one-shot collections before diving into any of the aus or longer works. And not all of them either, just enough to get a sense of my writing style and decide whether or not you like it.

Second; the one-shots aside, the easiest one to write was probably Brother in Arms, because ever since 1x09 aired (wasn’t that the episode Alex knocked his father unconscious with his crutch?), I’ve been imagining over and over his military past and how little Michael truly understands the way it affects him.

Hardest was definitely Heroes Never Die. Alex isn’t a vindictive person, so writing him as someone hell bent on revenge against the love of his life was tough. But I do think it needed to be done. (Oh, and Sense and Sensibility, but that turned out to be my favorite au I’ve done.)

Finally, I am surprised Forget Me Not got as popular as it did. Don’t get me wrong, it was super fun and I’m very proud of it, but the fact that it’s got I think 11k hits now or something is just insane to me, in the best way.
