so basically I think Wakko (seeing how I posed them) got a quest to challange something to do with fates, the prophecy calls for a Child of the Sun (Apollo Kid) and a Child of the Dove (Aphrodite kid) and who better to pick than their siblings. (Maternalpy related, yes same sex god/mortal couples can have kids, it has canonical happened, Angie just pulls all the gods)
