I submitted this for a challenge using the Strangefate/Rogue background with my girl. I wasnt chosen, something about the hair.

I didnt brush it out in post, and the option I was shown looked more like 80's yuppy mom going to a Whitesnake concert. Nothing wrong with yuppies, mothers, or Whitesnake, it just wasnt a style suited for this particular character. I adjusted her hair within Daz before the render, to fall more naturally, but eh. I like her hair, I like how it looks. It's not meant to look styled and perfectly coiffed. Her hair isnt even in the top 10 of things she is thinking about in any given day.

Anyway, I did a bunch of shit in post and really liked how this turned out, even if it wasnt accepted in the challenge.

Yes because it is my name and my title granted to me by Warden Commander Tabris-Surana. 4. Are you single or taken? Debatable 5. Have any abilities or powers? Vaguely, but not enough for it to matter to anyone in charge. 6. Stop being a Mary Sue. What?  7. What’s your eye color? Purple. Product of magical blood. 8. How about your hair color? Black 9. (I really did try to add the long sleeves on her, but they just wouldnt behave the way I needed them too, so I had to remove them.)

I used Glaze* on the right side. I had Glaze in mind when I did the post work in Gimp, so I actually like the glaze treatment with this because it feels intended. And not so obvious.

PLANT: mushrooms (only because I had to research mushrooms for a scene I wrote)

SMELL: the smell of a storm on the horizon, wood smoke, salty ocean breezes

SEASON: Fall

PLACE: Coastal places. She was born in the Highever alienage, so she associates the ocean with home, before she was taken away.

FOOD: chocolate, but only because its a luxury she was not allowed

DRINK: hot cocoa, same as above

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN: Taurus (that other 'me' element)

ELEMENT: Fire and electricity. Fire is her strongest element, but electricity made her earn it.

Daz 3D Studio Commissions

Recently I started doing DAZ 3D renders of your OCs as a fund raiser for Xochi’s vet bill (it was over $4500 so I’ll be doing this for awhile. Heh).  I’ve done Dragon Age characters, (except qunari, I just don’t have any good horns for them, unfortunately), but check with me to see if I have the assets for other D&D fantasy races (I don’t have many, but I have a few).

I don’t rip the characters from games, so there will be some deviance between the game character and the daz character. Note the differences between Serafina and Rhue in the images above. I also don’t rip the armor from the games. I can kitbash something and get close, but never exact.

Art vs Artist 2021

I have two versions here: one of my personal projects, and the second half is my promo projects.

Same pic of me in both, because black n white and because mask. It was before my bariatric surgery, now my face and neck look like its melting, so I don't have a more recent one. My hair is shorter now, too.

Ever wonder what Duncan looks like with his hair down? (the answer is f*ckin hot). Granted, Rhue doesn't have long hair, but not like it can't grow out.

This pose is also part of a challenge I'm doing with the promo group, so you'll see a variation of this later when the challenge is done. I just... I really couldn't sit on this one any longer.

For Dragon Age Day, I bought a couple of art commissions in support of the NAACP. This is the first one by @lilithkb, a hero portrait done of my Rhunae Surana. They were such a pleasure to work with and did such a lovely job, and I absolutely recommend them if you are able to commission them. (I think they are more active on Twitter @ LilithKBArt.) I love everything about this; her messy hair, her eyes, her expression, the way the griffin wings frame her face, the detail in the armor and staff... *chef’s kiss* I just love this so much! ❤️❤️❤️
