The fact that I never, never cared to learn anything about the star wars world specifics beyond the basic stuff and now I'm willing to read encyclopedias just to write a reylo fix-it fic 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

like I had no idea all the ships are specific models and divided into enemy and ally ones? or even the freaking structure of the galaxy far far away? I just know there are planets, didn't even focus on the fact that there's a specific lingo.. obviously there's no "internet", but there's a... "Holonet"? Freaking nightmare.

My Discussion with the Joseph Campbell Foundation Regarding the Dyad

Here’s my controversial opinion; I love the dyad concept named in The Rise of Skywalker. it was not a connection Abrams and Terrio conjured in the air. No, it was in the narrative of the ST since The Force Awakens. You can see our video on this topic here.

Terrio state that they found the dyad concept in the teachings of Joseph Campbell. I researched this topic and was unable to find much information. So I reached out to the Joseph Campbell Foundation to see if anyone there could point me to more resources. The Salon Message Board is no longer available on their website. So I thought I would post my full conversation here for those who wish to have this information for metas and the like.

I knew Reylo was going to be endgame the second Kylo Ren said "What girl?!". I got so much shit and hate for shipping them, that I thought I hated the sequels. Turns out: I hated the fandom. At the time, antis flooded the Reylo tag with accusations and death wishes and it made me distance myself from everything Star Wars related.

A friend of mine asked me to wear my Rey cosplay again at Comic Con, so I'd match his Kylo and I was a little apprehensive at first. I ended up agreeing and I rewatched the sequels in preparation. Now, I'm back in love with the characters and their potential and really want to get back into it.

Thanks for reading all of this if you did and I hope you can help me out!!
