listen revan is divine because they are mortal not in spite of it. it is divinity a construct. it the trappings of religion in the context of cult, in the fervor of worship, in the reverence for sacrifice, in the 'us' versus 'them.' they are the patron saint of lost causes, they are the prophet of retribution, the god of getting from point a to point b in the most efficient way possible, regardless of who or what you must move though. and it is a godhood held aloft by those who throw themselves underneath them. who come clamoring to their beckoning hands knowing loyalty will be rewarded with loyalty in turn. who eagerly feed a machine they know would shatter worlds to achieve their goal.

Completed Phantom Liberty
Having been playing Palia and sitting shotgun for playthroughs of BG3 and Starfield, it is such a relief to go back to a world where human beings act like real people. Like, if someone is throwing themselves at you (Judy, looking for a rebound and someone to orbit, as she always has) it makes sense for that person and they have preferences and some experience with you, not because they are a digital sex doll. Reed, Alex, and Songbird (and everyone else) have complicated motives and feelings about things, whole internal lives that aren't about you or sex or even only their own huge problems. Reed reuniting with Alex hit me hard because it was like "oh, yeah, this is how you write characters."
So glad Johnny was not just a footnote and his relationship with V was still a huge part of the story. You should not dive into Phantom Liberty until you finish the main story, building a higher level rapport with him, because the tough affection between him and V is on display and makes no sense otherwise...also frankly the big combat missions near the end will kick your ass.
Johnny's lack of remorse about the tower is still on display, though it still doesn't make sense, though in a human way; it makes sense for it not to make sense. He has a compassionate heart, beaten as it is and as much of a bastard as he is. He'll crouch beside the corpse of some poor fool and feel sad for them. Read his commentary in the journal where he asks V to be the one to remember the ones who won't be remembered. He pities people, he has strong feelings about helping ordinary people- as long as they aren't part of some group he doesn't like, which is something he should have faced with River's quests (has anyone rerun those in 2.0? Was more of him added in? For some reason he has very little commentary, though he should be a chatterbox for a dozen reasons).
I was right; mercy is a big theme in Phantom Liberty. It runs through the whole game, this world without mercy, and what it looks like, but it's more obvious to me in Phantom Liberty. Perhaps it is only recent real-world events that bring it so prominently to mind.
The Relic skills are alright, nothing game changing IMO. Skill rebalancing overall is good. Maybe it's just me but I feel weapons handle better.
Some people were missing from Hansen's party, IMO- at least Rogue, Yorinobu, and Kerry (he's a recluse, a good excuse, but would have been a fun interaction, especially if you'd done his quests). Unless I missed them? I went around that whole party five times!
You can talk to the "companion" characters about what you did in Dogtown for a few lines of extra chatter, but not Rogue or other fixers.
Once again, pretty sure V is meant to be not a selfish jerk. I have a whole thing about who this character is, how she isn't your typical self-insert RPG PC, as well as my belief V is written to be female, something I don't believe or care about or think at all relevant in most games of this sort. Commander Shepherd, Revan, Hawke, a dude? Sure, fine, couldn't care less. V, however, is meant to contrast with Johnny, and I think the game implies V is default female in several ways. Need to write that up sometime.
Maybe I need to do some digging, but it isn't immediately clear what Songbird's problem was doing to her exactly (except it's like V's problem), how the Blackwall did it, and how the Cynosure AI would help her or V. I'd like to know the mechanics of it.
My Orpheus After the Fall sequel has gotten itself sorted out thanks to expansion. I had an array of directions I'd contemplated but couldn't make work, things I wanted to explore, but now I feel I have something to build on based on my observations.

“I can’t live without you…” for KoTOR with that one ship you love, and for a second choice... Miles from Into the Spider-Verse, “I thought you were smarter than that!”
@owldart, listen, in fact sit down why don’t you.
You asked me to make the pair that refused to admit the fact that they liked each other out loud unless they were on the timeline where one of them was dying say something as gut wrenchingly honest as “I can’t live without you.”
The fact that I wrote over five pages of this stuff is your fault, not mine.
[I will come back and write the second prompt too, because turn about is fair play and also I wanna]
The party sure does have to spend some time fighting the hidden Sith outposts after the final war against evil with Revan... It sure would be a shame if something were to... Happen...
"GLADIOLUS!”
“Rand, don’t go back there-”
He tore through the Sith apprentices, kindness be damned, hostages be damned, even watching his own back be damned, several tons of rock and dirt had just collapsed on the only person here that was worth a damn-
“RAND!”
Because they had trusted her to hold the rockslide off, to have their backs, when the only reason he was here, the only reason Kreia had kept him around, the only reason he came on this specific mission was to watch hers-
"ATTON!”
“SHE’S ALIVE!”
“WILL SHE FIGHT OFF THESE SHUTTAS WHEN WE FIND HER?!?”
The fact she didn’t say ‘if’ was the only thing that made him turn around, snarling into the gas mask and hurling a poison grenade at his feet. The Sith apprentices impulse to flee or cover their mouths left gaps in their guard, places he and Revan took savage advantage of in their mutual desperation. Revan was all brute force, brute Force and raw muscle, shattering one of the Sith’s lightsabers through the power of her strike alone. Atton had to fight smarter, using the apprentices uncoordinated moves against each other and hurling a handy grenade when the best opportunity struck. Their mutually destructive tactics were usually tempered by the more practical strategies of the Exile.
She wasn’t tempering either of them now.
The battlefield was quiet for barely a breath before both of them whirled back around. Some distant, emotional, soft part of him had expected her to have blasted a hole in the rubble and already started treating her injuries with a medpack, ready to remind them both to take the edge off of their fighting strategies. Instead they found a wall of rock, with dirt still drifting down from it’s landing, and utter silence.
“At-”
“She can cut herself off from the Force.” He started towards the cave in, trying to figure out how to even approach this.
“Don’t touch it Ran-”
“Do I look like I’m touching it?” Explosions would be useless, too uncontrolled, it could crush her. He should have felt something by now, she should have opened back up to the Force by now. They couldn’t start at the top and burrow down, she would be at the bottom of the silt and it would take too long. He whirled back around. “Do something useful and help me! Help her!”
“Trying, Rand.” Revan stood stock still, hand barely raised, staring at the wall with that distant ‘solving a puzzle but only in my mind’ look. Her greying hair lifted away from her face slightly, and all the dirt that had started to settle started unnaturally floating back into the air. Her voice was low and tight as a crossbow string when she said, “I don’t have her precision, you’re going to have to go in and pull her out yourself.”
Then, the rocks started to shift. Barely by an inch near the top of the rock slide, and even when Revan’s powers got to the bottom of the rubble there was only a small gap, but some part of Gladiolus would have still been on the ground when the whole thing came down and it was the best shot they had. Getting to his knees and dragging himself forward with his arms, he breathed through the filter of his mask and tried to push his senses outward. It was too dark to see, even with the dim lights still on on their side of the cave in, and pushing against the rocks might break Revan’s concentration so he had to calm down and use his other ‘sense’. He squeezed his eyes shut and swallowed hard, thinking of how boring meditating was usually and who would guide him through it.
-It’s basically an extension of your gut instinct, Atton. I’m teaching you how to focus power you already have, just in ways you haven’t thought about using it.-
He pushed his senses outward, using the gut instinct concept as a crutch he hadn’t needed in some time. Danger was everywhere, pulling his at his nerves and making him grit his teeth, but where was it worse? What place scared him most? He shifted left and pulled himself forward a good few feet, not daring to open his eyes and lose his train of thought, when something streaked gritty liquid across the edge of his cheek.
“Gotcha.” He barely breathed, feeling none of the confidence his tone tried to convey. Quick exploration with his hands found her hand coming off the low ceiling, and after that finding the rest of her was easy. Revan had, by accident or on purpose, pulled Gladiolus to the temporary ceiling with the rest of the rockslide. Finally finding her belt, he also found more gritty liquid and realized it wasn’t water.
“Come on, Exile, I got you.” Tracing upwards until he found a catch in her chestplate he pulled her down slowly, waiting until her feet dragged on the ground to start pulling her in and shuffling backwards. Gravity seemed to come back to her slowly, like Revan was trying to pull her back up, but he was just strong enough to manhandle her out of the rubble before he saw the extent of the damage.
“No.”
“Rand, get back.” Revan’s horse whisper barely registered as he stared in horror. Gladiolus wasn’t just bleeding, she was bleeding heavily from multiple places.
“Rand,” Headwounds always looked bad, but the shoulder that bore the hand he brushed against looked ripped open, and her side was bleeding too. He tried to pull healing energy from the Force, silently begging it wouldn’t fail just this once, and nothing happened.
“Atton. Move. Back.” Revan hissed, ignoring the Exile’s condition, ignoring her healing duties because her healing spells worked, ignoring-
Revan was sweating, he could see that from several feet away, with her hand fully extended and shaking all over with effort. Even her breaths were clipped, and the darkened lines that appeared when she tried to push past her limits or use the Force too much-
Oh.
Only taking the time to be gentle with her shoulder he hoisted the Exile up and started forward. Moments later the entire rockslide slammed back into the ground. Revan choked, stumbling and falling backwards, but he didn’t have any time left to spare for her. Laying Gladiolus back on the ground he pulled out one of the Life Support packs and jammed it into her thigh, waiting until he heard the distinctive shift in air pressure and beep from medicine being released before opening its outer case and gathering gauze for her shoulder.
Revan had crawled close enough to see out of his periphery, dark lines still coating her cheeks and pulling at her creaselines, but as soon as she was in range she held up her hand in the healing shape and tried to draw healing light to Gladiolus’s shoulder.
“Take a breather.”
“I’m not losing her either Atton! Y-”
“I know how healing works, even if I can’t do it, Revan.” He snapped. “Just stop and recover so you can actually heal.”
Revan bared her teeth at him before quickly crossing her legs and rifling through her bag, tearing open something sealed and biting into it. Her face faltered when her eyes fell back on her friend though, and she shifted closer to put pressure on Gladiolus’ shoulder with her empty hand. “She’s, she isn’t reconnecting to the Forc-”
“She will.” Another Life Support pack, click beep gauze, wind it around the gauze already on her shoulder, he thought, the next one goes to the side wound, then head, then what’s bleeding worse, he thought, they should have brought more people, he thought. He knew he couldn’t lose her.
Revan’s healing light flared up around Gladiolus’ head, and he shifted back to put pressure on her side. “Is she breathi-”
“She will.” He didn’t dare check, not her breath or her pulse, pressing firmly on the wound in her side. Because he was a coward, a deserter, selfish beyond belief, and if she was gone not only was the rest of the universe done for, but he wouldn’t have anything left. He used up all his hope in the Mandelorian Wars, his loyalty on the figurehead the woman beside him used to be during the Jedi-Sith Wars, his luck on Pazzak, and his sheer doggedness on keeping the last person he expected to love alive. Without her support, his slowly growing empathy and healing would collapse in on itself. In her solid, unshakeable light he had changed too much from the shell of the man he used to be to go back, but not enough to hold on to any of the good he’d scraped up in himself without her.
“Please, ‘Lus.” He whispered. “I can’t do this- I can’t live without you.”
The one person, the only one of the three of them that didn’t deserve any of this, he should have gotten over himself and made sure she was breathing seven, twelve, twenty one seconds ago, damn it-
Revan slapped him on the shoulder with unregulated strength, almost bowling him over. “It’s your stupid card game!”
He thought four barely a second. “What?”
“Listen.”
He glared at her wordlessly, double checking the Exile before glancing over his shoulder-
“No, idiot.” She flicked his head with one hand, before pointing at his chest and trying to pry into his mental wall, oddly grinning when he automatically started counting cards to rebuff her. “That kind of listen.”
Tension prickled up and down his back from her intended intrusion and distrust surged back into the forefront of his mind, leaving up his mental walls and checking his tally, putting down a plus four-
He held his breath and reached out once more. He kept counting his cards, hoping that she would respond with her own play, that Revan was saying what he thought she was saying, he hadn’t imagined Fourteen
Reaching out for Gladiolus in the Force most of the time was like trying to find a massive searchlight in the middle of the day, where yes, other light and connections were everywhere, but it was always blindingly obvious where she was. During the rare times she cut herself off from the Force, reaching out for her was like looking for a specific light that wasn’t turning on a navigational console, scrambling for something that should be there but wasn’t even if you knew it would turn back on eventually. In this moment, when he faintly felt her for the first time, it was like trying to find a shorting flashlight beam in a fully illuminated room.
But she was there, barely flashing out numbers without any of the addition or colors the two of them normally conveyed when they had to play this mental game. Wetness gathered along the edges of his eyes when he felt the barest hint of satisfaction at twenty and realized she really was going to be alright.
Revan switched which hand was putting pressure on Gladiolus’ shoulder and held her other hand out, healing light surging back stronger than before and finally stemming the bleeding on her forehead. “I can’t believe you. Minutes after getting crushed, you regain consciousness and you’re inspiring us instead of healing yourself?!?”
The almost hysterical note in Revan’s voice matches the deep seated twist in his gut, with them both feeling that sickening terror of too close, too close hanging in the air. But even when Gladiolus’ lost consciousness again and her numbers faded back out her light didn’t, barely there but there where he can reach her.

SO  i finally finished the Roz Rundown as i’ve been calling it, the general correct timeline and story lines of Roz as to where i’ve gotten here. i’m putting it under the cut. she LONG so if ya’ll read this i apologize
Born alongside her twin sister on Tatooine to mother Yvait Pabura. Roz is born with yellow eyes like her father. Both twins have their mother’s brown hair. Lyn, however, has regular brown eyes. Both have sharp canines.
THE DEFINING INCIDENT;  at the age of four, Roz kills a Zygerrian slaver with the Force in defense of her and her sister, and Force-chokes another in defense of her new adopted togruta mother, Roxxa Vela. Her birth mother killed the Zygerrian slaver with her slugthrower rifle and buried both of them in the sandy yard away from the farm.
When Roz turned eight, four years after said defining incident, Luke Skywalker showed up on their doorstep. Well- in reality, he had been showing up on the Pabura farm’s doorstep and talking with Yvait, and visiting the children. It was just that at eight, Yvait gave both Roz and Lyn the option to go with Luke and train at his Jedi temple on Dantooine. Lyn was unsure, and hesitant; ultimately, the “elder” twin declined and wished to stay with her mothers all year round. Roz, however, at the pushing of her best friend Jhoren and the encouragement from Luke himself, jumped at the chance to train with the legendary Skywalker.
Roz trains with Luke and the other padawans until she’s 12. Through these years she returns to Tatooine every other season so she can still keep close with her family. She’s transported by friends of the Harsh family (Yvait’s mother’s family), the Taaks- Nesota, T’seri, and their hybrid daughter Tabiit. This creates a bond between the Taaks and Roz, especially as Tabiit becomes sort of an older sister to the girl.
The year that Roz is 12 is the year Ben goes fucking crazy. “Canon” says he didn’t kill anyone, but in actuality he did. The transformation from Ben Organa-Solo into Kylo Ren is a bloody one, and Roz stumbles out of her hut to be greeted by the dead bodies of her fellow students, everything in flames, the Knights of Ren, the three or so remaining padawans at Ben’s side, and Ben- with his hands bloody and his lightsaber reddening, extending those bloody hands to her. He asks her to trust him and come with her, where she’ll be safe. And she almost takes his hand but after feeling the rush of cold come off of him and the others she turns and jumps into the ocean despite not knowing how to swim. She manages to survive despite being hurled against the rocks at the bottom of the cliff; she gets herself into an eroded alcove and only after she feels the lot of them leave, begins climbing the steep steps that lead her back up. Luke is distraught, sobbing, screaming at the bodies of all of the fallen- when he senses Roz, and goes to her, and the two embrace and cry and mourn and he promises her he’s going to get her to safety. He’s going to get her home. In his hidden escape ship he calls Leia and Han, he calls Yvait, he calls Nesota for back up just in case those who did this to his temple return.
They’re just leaving Dantooine’s atmosphere when his ship is attacked by Alrai Kal’eeb, Roz’s biological father, and his crew of pirates and slavers. The Order is offering big money to anyone who can find any force sensitive kids and bring them to Snoke (and his new pet). Luke will always define this as his final great failing- after failing all of the padawans at his temple, he feels he failed Roz by not saving her from her father’s clutches.
Alrai Kal’eeb being a stupid, ugly man doesn’t realize as he and his buds are jetting away from Luke’s damaged ship that the Amazon and the Taaks family are there to kick ass and take names. In the skirmish while the ships are connected, Tabiit finds Roz and rescues her and carries her back to the Amazon where they disconnect with Nesota and T’seri and flee to safety. (T’seri goes back for Luke in their personal ship and takes Luke to where Leia and Han are.) Roz, after going back to Tatooine to her family who is crying and so, so happy she’s safe, decides to fly with the Taaks for a little while and offer her service to them for saving her life. They agree, also because staying in one location would draw too much attention and they don’t want the Order to track her down. At fourteen, two years later, they return to Tatooine so Roz can go back to her family.
This is a mistake though! If only because that’s when Roz stumbles upon her farm under siege by the Order. Ren and Hux and Phasma are at the helm for the first times in their lives in the Order and they’ve got Roxxa and Yvait tied up and on their knees before Ren and Hux. Lyn is nowhere to be found. Hux ends up shooting both Roxxa and Yvait and Roz does the smart, terribly scarred thing to do and runs back to the Taaks.
Roz transforms. She is no longer Roz Nuun Pabura. She is now Roz Sunborne. The Taaks take care of her and Roz stays with Tabiit when she pairs up with an old friend, Corellian and Mandalorian bounty hunter and space pirate, Rhys Th’on. The trio bond and help each other. It’s within the next two years that Roz also is gifted the Taaks’ family heirloom connected to the Force- the lava crystal lightsaber belonging to their great grandmother Aremna Taaks, who was a Jedi but left the Order bc she wanted a FAMBILY. (Aremna Taaks may or may not be a technical sister or cousin of Ahsoka Tano.) The lightsaber calls to her and Roz /loves/ it. This is in addition to the one she built at Luke’s temple (the one with the krayt dragon pearl as the crystal which is a silvery-yellow color).
Roz needs a teacher! So she, Tabiit, and Rhys search out the vibes Roz is getting and they meet up with Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, and Ezra Bridger. Roz has THREE teachers. Well, two technically, but Sabine loves her and teaches her what she can because fuck it. Fuck it. Roz gets to be trained by the coolest motherfuckers. Die mad about it if you’re mad about it. This info will most likely shift a little when the Ahsoka & Sabine Hunt Down Ezra show eventually comes out.
Roz is 17 when she starts hunting down Kylo. She’s still 17 when she decides to join the Order for a bit after dabbling with the Resistance also. She is technically a double agent via Leia’s orders but she still is doing it for selfish reasons.
It’s a stint of a year and a half with the Order before she gets hit with reality and accidentally kills Kosmik’s aunt and is only praised for it by Kylo. This disturbs her greatly! So deeply! It’s after this that the Siege of Quarzite happens and while at first Roz is like !!!! FUCK YEA it’s then revealed the Order wanted to essentially kidnap the Kage people because of their prowess as warriors and turn them into enslaved soldiers. Roz is like oh wow I fucked up!! In this time she starts getting really strong with the Force and almost rips some of the Knights of Ren apart during training the last time before she yeets out of the Order. Kylo is like… she’s just fucking mad it’s whatever. OG Ren Ren (aka original Ren?? I’ve only read a little about him but he seems interesting and weird I like him) is like… nah man she’s Different. (This would be the spot in the story where it’s starting to hint at Roz being the descendant of Revan.)
She kills her dad somewhere in that year and a half also. That story is really good and it’s when she’s found by Tabiit and Rhys before Kylo finds her and it’s. It’s good. Roz’s patricide is actually meaningful and not horrible and it’s a moving on point. It’s one of the reasons she starts becoming herself rather than living in Kylo’s shadow still. Baby’s growing up.
Roz leaves the Order! She’s so fucking lost! There’s a funny story in here somewhere where Hux actually assists in her escape because he a) hates her fucking guts and b) wants to see Ren suffer and c) is almost completely sure she has none of the Order’s information which is……. Wrong. But. She doesn’t have enough info to stop what happens in TLJ I guess. Might rewrite some stuff. But this is also where her story starts pulling away from the main line. Roz really doesn’t want to associate with Kylo ever again, she hates him a lot more than she could ever love him, and she just gets ANGRIER but she gets angrier with a PASSION and a FIRE and an UNDERSTANDING of how she feels. No more vague feelings and no more wanting to save him.
She’s like 19-20 when she gets a vision of her Aunt Cora (her dad’s sister, Kage warrior mama) and also of a woman who may or may not be Shmi Skywalker reminding her that Jhoren is on Tatooine and that he needs help breaking the slave trade once and for all. She calls in anyone she’s met within the past years- which, again, somewhere in there the Amazon gets her crew and is joined by Khorde Khell and his ships (the Tuskat Retribution, the Revenant Concordia, and the Zakkeg Bolide) as well as gathers the Teal Squadron and the like; somewhere in there she meets and loves up on Miss Badass Senator of Coruscant Lenore Baccre Moorheart and also somewhere in there dearest Lenore becomes a FORCE to be RECKONED WITH (Padme would be proud mama ILU so much).
The Crew Stage A Slave Revolt On Tatooine. They Kill A Lot Of Slavers. They Kill A Lot Of Hutts. Goodbye Hutts. Tatooine Belongs To The Sand People Now. And The Criminals. And The Slaves Most Of All Because They Are Not Slaves Anymore. Fuck You Star Wars Tatooine Has No More Slaves. There Was No Bargain Bitches!!!!!!
Uhhhh also Roz gets really fucked up when Luke dies. She feels it in her bones. She gets kinda confused when Kylo dies tho. She’s like…. Yay? But Also??? Screaming??
When Luke dies Roz has a meeting with his force ghost on Tatooine during a binary sunset because I’m emo. That’s Her Dad. Like Her Real Dad. Fuck that other guy. But also Roz is like wait have you blue hallucinations always been force ghosts??? And Luke is like ALWAYS?? Turns out Roz’s special connection to the Force is being able to talk really easily with the Force ghosts!! Fuck those 5 minutes Rey had with all of them- Roz even talks to ANAKIN even though she doesn’t realize who it is. She talks to him a lot, actually. (They’re very similar okay??? OKAY??? I know it’s super OP but let me live, she’s Special alright, she’s my Special Little Baby Who Talks To Ghosts And Kills Things)
So like… she helps the Resistance return the Kage to Quarzite where they create their own happy peaceful empire, she reunites with Lyn because Lyn doesn’t die in this one!! Haha retcon. We still kill their moms tho sadly. But like!! Yay the Galaxy is at Peace!! Oh ALSO Roz is the descendant of Ancient Sith Lord Darth Revan and Badass Bitch Bastila Shan. Roz is like IDK who those people are but cool cool I guess.
Then she returns to the Temple on Dantooine and discovers the ruins of the Jedi Enclave and finds a MASK and turns out Roz is haunted cause she gets fucked up by all of the Force Ghosts who tell her some SHIT is coming but she’s like ???? Why?????? Everything is PEACEFUL why can’t it STAY peaceful???
And then BAM Sith Lord Hyaljenasha “Yaljen” sith pureblood who has been frozen for thousands of years (was around when Revan was around, just not powerful then) and when he awakes he’s like….. That’s a Revanchist force signature singing if I’ve ever FELT one! And he’s like…. Obsessed with Roz a little but he wants to train her
He’s got novitiates which are like his apprentices but he’s so technically old (even tho physically he’s closer to Roz’s age, so like between 22 and 27) that he doesn’t believe in the rule of two lmfao. He’s got Nevtay Strake who’s an Umbaran force sensitive, she’s a snooty bitch who wants everything to burn. He’s got Johaale Garnak who’s Chiss and unfortunately not force sensitive, but they’re a boss ass motherfucker who knows how to fight with weapons especially a lightsaber. They’re cool. Like. Chaotic neutral. Not even evil wtf. He’s also got Carnhea Wellew, a twi’lek woman who is supposed to be a juxtaposition to Roz- they’re very similar, Carnhea has been through some shit and is angry because of it and she needed direction with her immense force abilities. Yaljen is that direction for all three of them! They Love Him a lot and are Way Too Attached to him and while he cares about them also he kinda becomes one-track-minded when Roz Revandescendant comes into play cause he’s like…. Whew…. Wipe me off the face of the GALAXY please. Lemme teach you. Please.
The reason they’ve gone undetected since Yaljen’s awakening is bc he was like…… WOW the force is fucked up now. It wasn’t this fucked up when I went under. We gotta lay low. Gotta literally keep the Force close to the chest here. So they fly under the radar! Amazingly enough!
This is where I’ve gotten. Roz and the crew are like….. HM….. Yaljen is very kinda scary and he has a hold on a lot of strings that we don’t know about but we can’t kill him outright bc he’s so powerful and has powerful darkside followers and also fuckin Johaale who’s a batshit talented motherfucker…
Roz is like. Teach? Him teach? I learn his secrets and destroy him? And everyone at first is like you just didn’t get to do that to Kylo so you want to do that to Yaljen but then they realize it’s probably for the best to wait it out until they can get like. HELP.
Roz has training stints with Yaljen. Yaljen sexy! Roz is like Hm. Yaljen adores Roz and is very patient with her and is very kind and reassuring and Roz is like HM.
Poe and Finn are also gay I’m making canon now. I say this because they appear sometimes! As the heads of the Resistance as it stands they interact quite a bit with all of the squad. Sometimes there are double dates with FinnPoe and Jhorhys (Rhys and Jhoren), sometimes triple dates including ChorZeebs. It’s cute!
IDK where to go from here so I’m just gonna…… leave this all here for now

10 OC Facts Tag
Thank you @visionmarred for the tag a while back!! I chose to use my lil Warden bc I love her :’)
I’ll tag @etoilebinaire @lesbianvisas @lady--revan & @ghostlygal ! Only if you guys want to though, no pressure!
.
Kethari Tabris
1. Kethari actually has a a very sweet singing voice! It’s an alto, a bit husky from disuse (and it’s not as though there’s much reason to sing during the Blight), but music makes her happy. Once upon a time she dreamed of escaping the alienage and traveling as a musician, until the reality of elven discrimination came into focus.
2. She naps a lot!!! All that fighting takes up a lot of energy, so she’s got to catch up somewhere... much to the amusement of her companions. (Luckily, she doesn’t snore. Much.)
3. While I play her as a dual wielder in the game (and am too lazy to change her build now), I’ve always pictured Kethari as fighting with a large battleaxe.
4. In direct correlation to the above, she’s very buff & muscular- lets just say, if she ever threatens you, she has the guns to back it up. Even if she is rather short. Scratch that, quite short.
5. Once she gets more comfortable and open with them, of her favorite things to do is to surprise the rest of her companions with bad jokes. Just... bad. Kethari’s good at delivering these with a straight face and has such an innocent expression, that they never quite know whether they’re intentional or not. They’re not... funny, per say, but the seriousness with which she attempts it gets her some pity laughs. It’s more sweet for the fact that she trusts them enough to even try. (She is, however, unintentionally funny quite a lot.)
6. Despite their obvious differences, Kethari and Morrigan actually strike up a pretty close friendship. In my mind they’re both dreamers who have become (sometimes harsh) pragmatists due to the circumstances of their lives, so they can relate to each other pretty well. That’s not to say they always agree, though- Kethari is generally willing to help those in need if possible.
7. She honestly isn’t a fan of sweets. Give her some good salt pork any day! (In truth, it’s largely because she’s unused to the rich flavors, as it’s not something she got to experience often in the alienage.)
8. It’s hard to stay kind in such a harsh world, but Kethari manages it. She has a good heart, if a bit selfish at times, and it truly shines through in her actions. They’re almost always well intentioned, because she sees herself in everyone she helps- she never had anyone like that, and now she gets to be the hero for a little while. It feels... nice.
9. Kethari isn’t very assertive, but she has a weird sense of presence to her that makes people listen to what she has to say. It’s an odd aura that no one could really explain if asked, but it’s certainly proved useful.
10. More than anything, she desires freedom. And even though the situation with the Blight is hellish, Kethari finds it in the Grey Wardens- in the choices she’s trusted to make, in how she’s slowly able to discover herself... in her love for Alistair. It’s a new feeling, frightening even, but she’s achieved her deepest dream in a way she’d never thought possible, and desperately fears losing it all.

Probably gonna rewrite this but my mortal kombat oc's backstory woosh
It had been a bumpy ride for her.
She had a quite troubled past, shadowed with cold deeds and shifty business, along with self-doubt, questioning, and selfishness. Who was she, really?
Did she serve some larger purpose, or was her entire purpose only to serve as a bounty hunter, living secluded in the woods, maddened by solitude, finding and killing when asked as long as she was paid? Lureing unknowing passerby from the safe paths of the woods, in the form of a beautiful doe, only to pounce on them as a ravenous cat, panther, perhaps, and rip the flesh from them?
To many she was a god-like entitiy; a demon of the woods to be avoided. Though she attacked most all who walked on the paths, there was a certain offering system she created to signal that a bounty was wanted to be completed. It involved the 'employer' cutting their artery (the one in the crook of their elbow) and letting the blood dribble over a gemstone they would bring (any would work, though if it was a very expensive gemstone--say, a Ruby for example--you would have better luck winning her favour. She seemed to have a sixth sense to tell how valuable it was. If she didn't arrive within five minutes, it was a no-go, and if you didn't quickly leave, taking everything with you, gem and all, she would kill you. She wasn't easy to please), and then set it on a seemingly ancient altar made of jade, with moss growing about it. Her service was not cheap, but was a very swift and effective method, as well as brutal. Unless specified to not, she would mutilate the victim in the harshest way possible and leave behind a symbol that she had been there--three claw marks side by side and then a circle around them, which was usually clawed into the wood of the wall.
And then she met Scorpion. She had heard some about the Shiri-ryu, but not much; including that they had been completely wiped out. Unknowing who the spectre was, she lured him from the path as she would with any person, though when she tried to attack him, he was, to her surprise, able to subdue her with ease. Within minutes of the skirmish starting, it was she who was pinned, a blade to her neck and the man's blazing gold-white eyes glaring at her.
She had pleaded for her life, for she had never faced someone strong as he, and did not think death would come so close to her. For, as far as she was concerned, to the travelers, she /was/ death. Never did she believe that the roles would be reversed as such they were.
Reluctantly, the man gave into her pleading, removing the blade from her neck, but shoving her back, sending her stumbling to the ground. And she had simply laid there, heart besting fast, like a scared rabbit cornered by its predator. The pair watched each-other with cruel contempt, and finally the female worked up the courage to ask him who he was; she was now curious.
"¿Q-quehen estas?" She had asked, fegining that she knew no English.
He hadn't responded, and so she made to ask what he was coming through for, but it was as if he could read her very mind.
"I seek the murderer of my family and clan."
His voice was not human; it was much too echo-y, and that was when she realized she was dealing with a revanant.
"¿Quehen-?"
"His name is Sub-Zero."
She knew the man well; Bi-Han was his name, and he often came with his brother seeking help when enemies were much too prepared for the two of them to handle.
He never trusted her much, despite the fact that the pair of them would actually make small talk. She usually didn't do that with customers. She and Tundra were well enough off, too, but she was quite willing to kill one or both of them for a gemstone or two.
She told the man, who stated plainly that he needed no-one, that she knew the man as well as his brother. But, being a cold-hearted shifter, she added with a cool, dark smirk and a flash of her catlike eyes that seemed to even intimidate the man who called himself Scorpion, "But if you need nobody, perhaps we shall both be on our separate paths, ¿sí? You, on your warpath of vengeance and rage, and me, to my satisfaction of bloodlust and senseless murder."
The man had her pinned to a tree within an instant, the blade to her neck again, asking her--commanding her--to tell him where the man was. She only smirked at him, responding with a sly, "I could simply accompany you and show you. For a gemstone or two, of course."
This seemed to anger the man more, and her smirk widened. She had him under her claws.
"Or, a simple blood offering."
Grumbling, the man withdrew and gave her a dark glare, asking where from. She responded casually by telling him that the artery on his arm would work, and without flinching, he slit it and let the blood dribble freely, pulsing with each heartbeat. He seemed to cringe when the female cupped her hands under his arm, a few inches away, and greedily drank what fell into her hands, until she had her fill.
When she drew away, the man began bandaging it; something that the female found amusing for an odd, sadistic reason.
He had told her--commanded her--to sleep, and that by morning he would have something fit for her (the outfit she was wearing; a crude outfit made of leaves, twigs, and animal hides, would not be fit for the battles they would fight), and that they would leave.
As they traveled, she found herself growing fond of the male and his grumpy, angry ways, and she would shift into an owl often and `visit` Bi-Han and Kuai to check on them, then report back to Scorpion.
It was not easy for her; she had never been around other people for so long, and finding herself growing friendly to them was a very unfamiliar feeling, and it scared her. Especially when she began to grow friendly to the cryomancer assassins that she was literally leading their death to.
After Bi-Han died--after he was killed--she went back to her woods, and she secluded herself.
Some time later, by chance, she met Reptile, and the two became friends; they both were misunderstood, and some of the last of their species (or, in Reptile's case, the very last).
By some twist of fate, while traversing Earthrealm in the form of a beautiful young Spanish girl with red hair (her natural form, one that none had seen besides Scorpion) many years later, she came across the Lin Kuei assassin--Kuai Liang. He wore not the clothes that he wore as Tundra, but the clothes that his brother wore as Sub-Zero, and he called himself by much the same. It was a cold feeling of regret; she had bettered herself over the years--she was no more the self-concerned murderer that led Bi-Han's death to him years ago, and when she saw just how much grief was overcoming the man who had been left alive, it hurt.
She had taken it upon herself to try and help him, and the pair became quite close friends. Through her travels, she also came upon Scorpion once more, and became closer to him as well.
Eventually, she and Scorpion began dating, only for a short while before breaking up; it was never true love, it was more of her way of helping him cope with the weight of having lost his whole family. Some time after they broke up, Kuai confessed to her that he loved her (it was almost in a guilty tone) and the two of them began dating. They dated for nearly two years before she ever revealed to him that she led Scorpion to Bi-Han.
To her surprise, he was not even angry at her.
Later on, she, along with Kuai, became revanants, though they were freed along with Scorpion by Raiden. She and Kuai by then had been married for about a year, and soon after being released from revanancy, Kuai found the truth of the massacre of the Shiri-ryu. He shared this with Hanzo Hasashi, and the pair, much to her delight, put aside their differences, in a friendship.
She fought against Outworld's invasions on Earthrealm, despite being from Outworld, and over the years had changed from a coarse, murderous bounty hunter with no respect and no care for anyone but herself, appearance overshadowed by dirt, blood, and scars, to a woman who would gladly put others before herself, and knowing that violence was not always the answer, who was beautiful in every aspect. Cool and calculating, she no longer sought the death of those who crossed her, and no longer hid behind shadows of names whispered about, and though she went by a codename, Imperium, like her friends Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero did, she was not ashamed nor afraid to speak what her true name was: she was Leah Rayne Liang, wife to Kuai Liang and one of the defenders of Earthrealm.
She glanced over, smiling at the man beside her whose hair was raven black, her own red, silky hair gently whipping about her face, but not obscuring her pale green eyes that were more catlike than humanoid. The man's gaze was fixed on the horizon, pale blue, nearly white eyes scanning it for any potential threats. Upon finding none, he glanced back at his wife and smiled a rare, true smile.
"No threats from anywhere, then, mi amor?" She asked in a voice that was cold with scars from the past, but beautiful nonetheless, a gentle Spanish accent wreathing her words. The man nodded. "None," he responded in his soft, dark voice. This caused the woman to smile. Ah, good. She glanced back at the Frost Dragon behind her, who had its head laid down in the snow, eyes half-lidded. Blizzard was her name. She was the woman's mount, and quite frankly, her friend. Like any dragon, she was highly intelligent, with the gift of tongues, the ability to breathe frost as a flame dragon breathes fire, the ability to freeze herself or other things, like a cryomancer, and even teleportation to a degree.
Next to her was her mate--Cobalt. Cobalt was the woman's husband's dragon, and he had the same talent as his mate did.
The shifter looked back out at the snow-flaked sky. A small smile painted her face; another battle won. Outworlders might spit curses at her and call her a traitor, but she minded not. She was with the people she loved.
"Kuai, do you think they'll attack us once again?" She asked, looking over at the man she loved. He glanced at her, and gave her a soft, reassuring smile. "If they do, Leah... They'll have to answer to the Lin Kuei."
This caused a smile to break out on the woman's face. A stupid but adorable one; why it filled her with joy she didn't know. Perhaps it was the thrill of battle once more, and doing it at her husband's side.
"Indeed.... Indeed they will," she agreed softly, looking back out at the great span of white.
A serene moment of silence fell, and Leah moved closer to Kuai, leaning against him in a tender, loving manner.
"I'm cold," she whispered, voice barely audible over even the soft, chilly winds, "so warm me, love."
This graced a faint smile on the cryomancer's features as he snaked an arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
Blizzard, behind them, gave a soft snort of air and muttered something indistinct that sounded suspiciously like "You're not cold; you just want to be near him."
Leah shot her a glance, but only smiled placidly and kissed Kuai's cold, yet smooth cheek, just above his beard.
This seemed to make the man of ice happy, and he let out a small, content sigh.
"Oh, spare us from the romance," snorted Cobalt softly.
Leah rolled her eyes, resting her head on Kuai's shoulder, half-lidding her eyes. The cryomancer gently rubbed his hand up and down her side in a slow, loving manner. An attempt to warm her up.
"I love you," Leah whispered, kissing his neck gently.
"I love you too," he murmured in response.

latrodectal replied to your post “entertain me while scorp is at work (bc i’m so lonely)”
what blueprints from fdtd s3?
Oh man, It’s a long extensive thing, but I’ll give you some bulletpoints that are important to me re: blueprints for the remix of s3:
There’s a few ways I’d handle Amaru and Kate, either Kate isn’t possessed at all and is just a rotting revanant that is working with Brasa because she’s pissed off and angry at all the people who hurt her and Brasa is using her to bring back Amaru, and thus, start an apocalypse. OR I’d have Kate be possessed for only half the season and have Amaru in her actual body appear sooner, so that we can see the fallout of Kate’s possession and trauma, as well as have more complex and detailed interactions between Actual!Amaru and Venganza.
VENGANZA VENGANZA VENGANZA. They made such a big deal about her existing and being a female lord, and did exactly shit with it. I want to see her on the run, I want to see her backstory with the other lords (god this season made me so interested in the lords and I got so little information), I want to know why she and Carlos seem close, I want to see Kisa confront her and have Venganza talk about her side of the story, and for them not to exactly ~bond, but I want some acknowledgement of their similar stories. I want to see Venganza be a mentor to Richie and ultimately to Kisa. I am okay with her death, but I hate how it came when there was no development for her as a character.
I’d cut Burt out completely and give his function in the story to Ximena. Ultimately I don’t really get why Burt existed in the first place, given that Ximena is older and worked at Venganza’s side the entire war and started the revolution with her, so like, she’s way more qualified to be a resource on Amaru and her horrors given she was at ground zero when this whole thing started. I’d develop her more and give more depth to her relationship with Venganza given how close they were and how Amaru also blamed Ximena as one of the women who betrayed her. I want to showcase their history and make Ximena plot-relevant and important. She lives, of course.
Freddie would be given a storyarc that focuses on his position in the culebra world and how it’s tearing him from his family because it’s a dangerous destiny that he fears involving his family in--his break up with Margaret is a mutual decision between them and his romance with Ximena complicates that, but ultimately there are bigger things to be worried about. Such as Freddie’s daughter Billy being tied to his bloodline and the same destiny, so Freddie can’t keep her from it forever. Margaret is a more full person and better developed and takes agency in her decisions and isn’t just a plot device damsel in distress. They all figure into the final showdown with Amaru. Freddie working with the Geckos will also figure into his arc, but I feel like Dakota would have to be cut (as much as it kills me) because there’s no story except to be a reminder of Earl and that’s not fair to her character. I want to see more of Freddie’s struggle with what he’s become and who he’s chosen as allies (and possibly friends).
KISA HAS MORE SCREENTIME AND HER DEVELOPMENT TOWARDS CHOOSING THE ACCEPT HER POSITION AS LA DIOSA HAS MORE ON SCREEN DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH. Also: Manola doesn’t die, but she’s hurt and either they choose to go into hiding, or they go back with Seth and Richie for protection, and Manola develops a friendship with both Geckos, but Seth especially (because they’re both scrappy humans). I want to see Kisa making the choice to fight for her people, I want to see what compels her to bring Carlos back, I want to see her juggle the dynamics of Carlos, Richie, and Manola being in the same space. I want her relationship with Richie not to be forgotten, I want to see her dynamic with Seth be a more full exploration, I want her and Carlos to come to their positions in the finale with more development and focus. I can see Manola being injured again in the finale and Kisa having to make a choice that is deeply upsetting, but like. Manola doesn’t have to die!!!
I want to see Scott and Fanglorious, I want to see how that happened and if my suspicions are true and he turned his band members, I want to see Scott struggling with the reality that Kate is back and I want him to be able to save her and very much a focus on their dynamic as a unit, as two kids that were never meant to be here in the first place. I want him to offer to allow Kate to leave it all behind once she’s out of Amaru’s grasp and support her when she decides to fight, and I want to see her choose him because he’s the only thing that makes sense and ultimately the only person who can understand just a little of what she went through. I want to see Scott interact with and confront Carlos and have them have an actual conversation about their shared history. I want him to meet Kisa For Real and have them relate in strange ways and have him come out of it respecting and admiring her. I want to see Scott face both the Geckos and deal with the fact of them trying to help Kate, while also knowing they’re the reason they’re here. I want him to get to be angry and confused and determined and just. More Scott, always more Scott.
As for the Geckos, I want to see Seth’s development to focus on his growing attachment and association with the culebras as “his” people, even if it’s reluctantly and begrudgingly and complicated because Seth can’t let go of grudges. I don’t want to see Seth valorized for ultimately selfish actions. I want him to face his demons and explore the monstrous aspects of his character (I loved the darkness of that scene where her tortures Amaru and physically, Kate, and I want to see that explored). I liked his desperation and his exhaustion and I felt it was leading towards something. Seth has experienced so much that the fact he hasn’t fully broken is something interesting, but also something I want to put pressure on. Ultimately I see him with becoming a culebra, or if the ending of S3 is Richie in Xibalba, then him devastated and ready to do anything to get him back. I want more focus on how Seth deals with the fact of Richie’s immortality and his morality and the complications of realizing their lives are going to fork at a certain point and Richie will endure without him and how that is terrifying.
For Richie, I just want to see how wholeheartedly he’s embraced the culebras and his place in the community and how he feels pulled in two places because he’s in a community, but he’s also with Seth and Seth is human. I want him to be able to talk to Kisa about this and have them relate and disagree and fight and come back together. I want to explore the fact that Richie keeps feeding on the worst of the worst and like, he’s gaining skills from it, but he’s also gaining trauma from all their dark and horrific deeds. I liked Richie’s hero arc in S3 and how he was naturally self-sacrificial and I want to see that ultimately play out in the big showdown. I also want answers about his connection to Xibalba and how Amaru was drawn to him and honestly, I want him to be the Key that opens up the gate and to be used as a tool, which is tragic and fucked up, but I feel like this season needed real stakes and real sacrifices. Like I don’t think anyone gets out of it wholly intact. (also more shadow!Richie, always more shadow!Richie).
