Resplendent Adult Tiki is a fantastic design and I'm SO hyped for it in this essay I will

So first of all, I know the álfar themes are a bit overused on female resplendents HOWEVER miss Tiki is always sleepy!

And Dökkálfar works especially well because when she was a child, she was suffering from nightmares of becoming an evil dragon :(

As TheShadowKing66 pointed out, her top is taken basically directly from Rearmed!Plumeria. HOWEVER... she also has design elements reminiscent of course from her base art, as well as Naga! (The cut of the top/collar, the little spiky floral skirt bits)

And LOOK AT HER WINGS those are GRIMA EYES 👁️ in them! And the wings come to a point like a Plegian crown! phantom-miria also pointed out when I was screaming in our DMs that her boots look like a Plegian mage's

And the parallelism between the álfar and dragons is just SO good... especially since this is the Divine Dragon, VOICE OF NAGA, wearing nightmare realm and Plegian-inspired clothing. It's basically saying:

Dökkálfar = Fell Dragons, Ljósálfar = Divine Dragons

AND LEST WE FORGET Lucina—who has the Mark of Naga in her eyeball from a pact her ancestors made with Naga, and who seeks out Tiki's help as the Voice of Naga to defeat Grima in the game's timeline—has a butterfly motif in Awakening

On a different note, I've seen a lot of people complaining about how many álfar designs we've gotten, and it's true! We've gotten 20 álfar total (10 of each), all women, of the 55 women designs (versus 38 males). But, I think the fairy favoritism is starting to wane based on the last few months of designs. Plus, we have the possibility of designs from Yggdrasil and, of course, Vanaheimr. I would love to see a Resplendent Stahl in fairy garb since he's always smeepy, or Forrest since he's very fashion-forward. But for what it is now, it looks like we're starting to get some diversity back (especially compared to the earlier half of the year. We had 3 álfar in a row before this LOL...)

Anyway, I love Resplendent!Adult!Tiki. She is gorgeous, and I love how she has elements combining Dökkálfheimr, Plegia, and her roots as a Divine Dragon. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Here's the Twitter version if you prefer.

Before you start: yes, I am aware that the eyes are not just a Grima thing. In fact, eye spots appear to be general trend among the dökkálfr -- Plumeria has them in her base form:

They're also present on most Resplendents wearing Dökkálfheimr-inspired attire, like Ursula, Deirdre, and Corrin:

But none of them have eye spots in the same quantities that are present on Adult!Tiki's new Resplendent:

FEH Barracks Tour: Awakening (Part 1)

I have 14 +10 units from Awakening! I'll be splitting the group in half to work around image post limits so here's part 1

Brave Robin: I was so happy when he won this year's CYL. I voted for both him and female Robin this year as I'd love for either of them to win (hoping for F! Robin win next year 🤞). I love his art, he looks so fancy. He's a absolute menace in combat and tanks everything and destroys enemies. Wasn't the easiest +10 but I'm glad I got him on his debut banner.

Lon'qu: My first +10 unit! I love lon'qu. He was my first S Support in Awakening (my first FE game) so when I found out I could build him in FEH I couldn't NOT make him a priority. I love his resplendent art and I'm just wishing he'd get an alt at some point (IS please 🥺)

Adult Tiki: My other favorite from Awakening ❤️ I love Tiki. She's my favorite S Support in Awakening and I am dedicated to making her base version as good as possible. I'm hoping she gets a resplendent at some point as I'd love to see her with some new art (and more stats wouldn't hurt!)

Male Morgan: MY SON. He's precious and I love him. He's great in combat and his resplendent art is cute. I really like his base art too though as Tobi is one of my favorite FEH artists so I switch between the arts every so often. He's great with his special spiral build.

Cynthia: One of my favorite Gen 2 units in Awakening. I wish I had her mom built up more too but she never shows up for me. I was very happy when they added Cynthia, especially as a grail unit, so easy to build and merge. Her weapon refine has made her so good and she can be quite tanky, even before guard bearing 4

Panne: The first beast unit I built. I liked Panne a lot in Awakening so I was happy when they added beast units in FEH. With all these new beast skills recently I've been able to update her skills and she's a crazy strong unit now.

Legendary Chrom: The man, the myth, the menace L!Chrom is a very consistent team member for me. He's just so good at his job that I love bringing him in battles.

Next up is the other half of my Awakening +10 units!

FEH - Ishtar is our next Resplendent Hero

I totally wasn't up until 4 a.m. (GMT-3) expecting the news.

Anyway, our next Resplendent upgrade candidate turned out to be Ishtar ― the "Thunder Goddess". ⚡

Thematic: Jötunheimr.

As for the thoughts, reaction and a little appreciation, I've wrote everything after the cut. 👇🏻

So... what do I think about it?

One word is enough to describe it: "gorgeous".

Nah, actually speaking though, it's indeed so beautiful and quite a surprise, coming out 4 months after Tailtiu got her upgrade (also an infantry blue tome user from the same game, but available at lower rarities unlike Ishtar).

The details, ranging from the ornaments in her brand new attire, to the blue thunder... I love it all down to bits.

It's got nothing to complain about I think, and Rika Suzuki is indeed a talented artist, whom we know for their work on Ullr, Legendary Sigurd and Resplendent Eldigan, we can expect more amazing artwork from them in the future!

Rating: 10/10

I was actually surprised by it quite a bit, I was hoping for Adult Tiki or someone I like enough, but Ishtar didn't cross my mind at all.

In the end though, it's a sweet surprise, I feel pretty hype today!

Before concluding this post, here's my build on her:

It's... quite an unusual route, isn't it? But I wanted something even slightly different to Tailtiu, so I thought of this, I think it can be improved for certain, but I don't have much to work it, and her speed needs an extra "oomph!".

Might actually make of her my second candidate for the [Ascendant Floret], but only going to use one if I can somehow get her upgrade... I doubt I'll even make it in time unless I get a job before her distribution period, but it's fine missing on her, it makes me happy to see one of my Jugdral favorites is getting the upgrade!

I’ll be honest I really want adult Tiki because I think her base art looks boring and generic, but Eirika is cool too I guess. It is cool that Ljósálfheimr clothes are now confirmed to be something some resplendent heroes can have.

If adult Tiki ever gets a resplendent, what do you think would be a good build/boon for her?

This is what I use. She’s decent? She has solid defensive stats, and 20HP healing every other turn, makes her a decent tank.

Truth be told though, she’s one that most people are like “just use an inheritable weapon” and that probably is smart. I do hope she gets a resplendent. Adult Tiki is surprisingly popula-

…oh god what if it’s Mythic A!Tiki? We did get the Fallen Morgans based on the DLC, and Tiki was the one who got them to the past wasn’t she? Someone suggested she could be a mythic. Oh man that would be kinda cool.

Haven’t shown off my +10 heroes in a while so here are all my +10′s and my current project

I use Marth as part of my main team for story stuff he’s pretty good.  I wish I had a better C skill for him

My only 5 Star +10.  Took years to complete

Seliph!  I use him on my Aether Raids Defense

I had to build Caeda to go with Marth.  I need to finish giving her skills

Adult!Tiki.  She’s my main that I send to other players but I actually haven’t used her in a while.  I need better skills for her but she’s still decent.  She was one of the first heroes I +10

Lilina.  Either her or Adult!Tiki were my first +10 I don’t remember.  I haven’t used her in a while.  Hope she gets a resplendent one day

Lukas!  Not much to say I haven’t used him in a while now

Tailtiu! I occasionally use her on my Aether Raids Defense on my Genealogy based team

L’Arachel!  I use her on my Cav Team.  It’s nice that she finally got a refine

Sheena.  My only +10 armoured unit.  I used to use her on my armour team but I’m not sure if I do anymore

Cherche.  She used to be part of my flying team but she isn’t anymore.  She needs better skills

Robin.  She was my first +10 Grail project.  I still use her occasionally.

Felicia.  One of my earlier +10 projects

Priscilla.  My +10 healer.  I use her when training other heroes mostly now but occasionally I put her in my Cav team

Jamke.  My second +10 Grail Project.  I use him in my current main team.

Dancer!Eldigan my current +10 Grail Project.  I have all the copies I just need feathers to finish him.

Taking Stock of Units in Fire Emblem Heroes, Part 2

Next! Let’s take a look at the merged heroes I have and feel some sort of affinity for:

My 5*+10s:

Nowi (+Atk): She still puts in WORK. My first 5*+10 and she is an evergreen feature on any Grand Conquest teams, first runs of Lunatic maps, etc. She deserves a kit upgrade sometime soon, but somehow LB/Aether/SB/QR/Threaten Res/Distant Def still get the job done almost every time. Sothe (+Spd): Sothe is one of the first characters I ever really fell in love with from Radiant Dawn. He was an easy +10 decision. Again, I need to upgrade his kit soon, I have Broadleaf Dagger+ fodder....I just feel like I have to choose between him and Matthew, and I adore Matthew’s personality and I feel like I just need to bite the bullet and just raise both. Ross (+Spd): I literally yelped when he was released. Favorite character from the first game I actually beat (played FE7 first but beat it after beating SS). Every major decision in summoning since his release was clouded by “but I should still summon on Green for Ross merges.” But he’s done! This little dude runs so many builds and is also a main staple on teams. The Almosts (Most of these I actually have the resources to +10 but have been holding off because of a need to keep resources on hand to remain competitive):

Lyon, +7: My sweet boy. Major staple on most teams for a while before he just...couldn’t keep up. He needs a refine BADLY. Sophia literally takes him behind the woodshed and beats him within an inch of his life. We all know he likes it. He was the first person I sacked a Counter skill to. I love him and I want the best for him...but not until I know what his refine is.

Mordecai, +7 (+Atk): Another soft boy. Honestly, I merged him up because I had them available and got drunk while playing PoR. He functions very well at this merge level. I’ll get him up one day, but he really can’t be a focus right now, given he serves a very similar combat function to Nowi.

Shigure, +6 (+Atk): This is one of those scenarios where the voice actor really drew me to the character. Matt Mercer kills Shigure’s voice lines and also I got pitybroken by him a LOT. He’s got a pretty balanced stat-line, but performs better as a player phase duelist....except I want to eventually use Valter instead. That’s 99% the only reason I’ve held off, the other is having Harmonic Lance+ fodder just in case. I have the merges for Shigure, but I have a feeling this is as far as he goes.

Micaiah, +5 (+Atk): Best girl from RD (we all know this). Honestly, I haven’t ever sniped for merges on her, these are all organic, which is impressive. But she deserves the +10 and I think I would rank her pretty high in terms of trying to achieve that. Too bad I just missed several good opportunities to do so. This is why I should have done this a while ago.

Nino, +5 (+Spd): I have uncovered a not-so-secret trend. I have a major bias towards characters from Blazing Blade, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn and, to an extent, Awakening. These were the games I played growing up, so it makes sense that they stayed. ANYWAY. Nino, adorable and punches through everything. I find I don’t really have a ton of space for her on teams, though...she was easy to merge and offers no fodder. I have all the materials, but she’ll honestly have to wait, like Mordecai.

Now, I think I should list out every character with at least +1 merge, to sort through who should be a priority. So this will go in descending order:

Mia, +3 (+Res): One of the only speedy sword girls I actually give a shit about (unsurprisingly). I would love a +10 eventually. Masked Marth, +3: A product of a bygone age. I never spent any real fodder on her, so I’ll chalk this one up to *meh*. OG Eliwood, +3 (+Atk): I have all the resources to +10 him. He’s my favorite Lord. He’s incredible in combat. He has amazing Resplendent Art. Why the fuck have I not finished him. I’ve failed my boy. Forgive me Eliwood. He’s clearly a high level priority. What have I been doing. Astram, +2: He’s a strong unit and has a great niche but I just....don’t care about him. I built him for this week’s Arena needs. His cost is just way too high as a Grail unit. He’ll stay at +2 for now.    Joshua, +2: He was almost my first grail merge project and I...held off. Idk, his cost is so high. but I love his personality and he’s near the top of the grail pile that deserves a refine. I might wait until then?? Idk, I’m torn. I think he could put in good work if I took the time to kit him properly. I need to put more thought into him. Eldigan, +2 (+Def): Multiple pitybreakers that have been merged. Garbage. Next. Donnel, +2 (+Atk): Donnel’s another character I’ve always really liked, but held off, because my Blue Enemy Phase Infantry slot remains filled. His new refine gives him an interesting niche, but is he worth the resources? I have the merges and feathers, but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger. Hawkeye, +2 (+Def): Another random decision I made months and months ago for...no particular reason? He’s got a great refine, but there’s nothing he can do that Ross or Brave Ike can’t. Brave Ike, +2 (+Atk): Speaking of...amazing typing, amazing refine, I sacked my only Nailah to him in order to finally make it to T21 in AR. I have one more waiting in the wings, because I worry that I might need Steady Breath for someone in the future. But I think the ship has sailed on SB’s hey-day. An extra merge for survivability is likely better. Rath, +2 (+Spd): I love Rath so much. His personality, his art, all great. He got SHAFTED stat line wise but....we shall prevail. I have a +Atk waiting in the wings, but I think I’ll keep the +Spd. Speed is king and will remain king until something drastic changes in the meta. He could be +7 with the copies I have, so I’ll likely up his merges soon. Lissa, +2 (+Res): I love Lissa. She’s so cute and she was the first true defensive healer, and I LOVE healers...but she’s incredibly outclassed at this point. Resplendent Lissa when??? I don’t see this going forward without some kind of refine/Resplendent. Adult Tiki, +2 (+Atk): Tiki has the misfortune of just not appearing as fast as Nowi did in terms of merges. I don’t love all dragon teams, and Nowi has the better color. Plus her refine isn’t amazing. She’ll remain here for now. Y!Marth, +1 (+Atk): I am on the fence about whether I feel regret for not pulling more for Y!Marth. His weapon is so strong, he’s got great stats, and not great fodder. But I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I decided +1 was better than trying for the +10 and getting mad when I spent money on orbs. But he puts in work. I love him as a unit. OG Alm, +1 (+HP): Funnily enough, as an almost day-one player, I didn’t pull an OG Alm until halfway through his availability as a Limited-Time Divine Code option. He was a free pull on some random banner and obviously got a merge afterwards. I like his character, but I don’t know if I will ever make an effort to +10. Saber, +1 (+Atk): One of my absolute favorite units. One of the characters I had Summoner Supported for a period of time. His refine is very interesting and allows for some really interesting builds. I might need to make more of an effort for him in the future. Ayra, +1 (+HP): I’ll be honest, I don’t love Ayra. I don’t like the speed arms race she kicked off, and I’m bummed I didn’t just use her as Swift Sparrow fodder. Whatever. Black Knight, +1: Big surprise here: I love the Black Knight. I think he still holds up as a viable option for Red Armors. His cost remains high as a Grail unit, but I think it might be worth it, given how many armor skills exist now. Elincia, +1 (+Atk): The trend continues: character from PoR and RD that I love. She’s got amazing player phase capabilities, and eventually she’d be a great +10. Lukas, +1 (+Atk): The OG physical tank. Great personality and solid niche, but I have others who do the same thing. Nephenee, +1 (+Spd): The Halberdier class in PoR still ranks as one of my all time favorite character ranks. Nephenee languished as -Spd for a long time before I snagged another merge. I love her character and need to prioritize her builds. I’d love for her to demote one day (lol), but she’ll go on the list of 5* exclusive merge desires. OG Azura, +1 (Neutral): I feel like OG Azura is still outclassed, even with her Resplendent stats. Although she has a strong niche as a triple Chill support unit. I need to actually build her and deploy her before I sink any real assets into her. Legendary Ephraim, +1 (+Res): I pulled Legendary Ephraim long before I ever pulled OG Ephraim. He finds use mostly as a Grand Conquests lead. Which makes me realize that I don’t have a ton of lance cavaliers....or really any that I would really love to build. I’ll look into this. Altena, +1 (+Def): I adore Altena. She’s one of those characters that FEH really introduced me to and I fell in love with her personality, and she’s got a great kit. I’d love for her to be 3*/4*, but I find myself thinking I should pull for Blue on random banners, just in case I pull extras. She’s a high priority merge project. Halloween Dorcas, +1: Another case of a strange decision made without any real thought. Especially since Hack-o’-Lantern+ is a solid axe to have in a unit’s back pocket. I’m suddenly mad at myself for doing this. Minerva, +1 (+Atk): You know, Minerva was the third 5* I ever pulled in this game, and I never really found a use for her somehow. I suppose I avoided flying units for a long time, just because they were always physical, and usually less useful than infantry or cavalry units (what a time). She’s merged because of a pity breaker. Young Minerva, +1: Ironic, I know. Y!Minerva is near the top of my list for Grail projects. She’ll likely get a +10 eventually, it’s hard to top the skills she has available. And I’m weirdly a sucker for tiny children who destroy enemies. I love this unit. Legendary Alm, +1 (+Def): My first pull of L!Alm was -Spd, which was a major fucking bummer. I ultimately decided I needed to fix that when I pulled one a while back, it was a good decision. I am never going to have the resources to pump more into him, though. So his base kit will do for now. Matthew, +1 (+Atk): Let’s talk briefly about how fucking bad Matthew’s attack stat is. At lvl 41 with a 14 mt dagger equipped and attack boon he has 43 attack. Literal garbage. His refine makes him useable and I want to +10 him so badly because I love his character, but again, it clashes directly with the Sothe I already built, who only loses out on the defense that Matthew’s packing. It’s hard to justify, ngl. Kagero, +1 (+Atk): I am only human. Every once in a while, I am susceptible to the pull of a waifu or two. Cool refine, solid niche, but hard to justify when I have characters that do the work better. Julia, +1 (+Def): Another character I didn’t have for literal years, and got in back to back banners long after she had a hey-day. Crystalelemental on Tumblr loves Julia and, honestly, that love kinda rubbed off. She doesn’t even have skills equipped, but I’ve been on the lookout for a way to deploy her. She’ll get a good kit eventually. Legendary Female Fallen Robin, +1 (+Spd): Describing some of these characters becomes a mouthful. Solid niche, and she got a merge because she kept pitybreaking me on the road to Bramimond. The rest were sacked for Res Smoke fodder. She’s useful from time to time, but not a favorite. Lethe, +1 (+Def): I always liked Mordecai more than Lethe, but she hits a lot of criteria for me. Her typing holds her back a little bit, though. I also don’t run all beast teams very often, and that’s where she really shines. It also doesn’t help that her first appearance was as -Atk. Sometimes heroes with bad IVs that you love kinda lose their luster, which is sad. Kaden, +1 (Neutral): Both times a pitybreaker. Great niche as a unit, sees plenty of use when I’m running Bonus Doubler shenanigans. Doesn’t see a ton of use outside of that.

Phew. That was a lot to write. If you read through that....I am deeply impressed. I think next is taking stock of what I actually want in terms of unit niches, and which ones would fill those roles that I could target. 

FEH — So... Resplendent Serra

Now, for my usual dump of thoughts. 🥴

Artwork

I'll start talking about the brand new art and style, I think it's super cute, it really is, and the Nifl theme feels right for her due to how the colors and features of Nifl clothing go along nicely with her and the natural white of a cleric's, and the cold effects in her special artwork further compliment it.

I certainly prefer it over the original, it's... fine, but I don't really dig the style, even though it did a good job capturing Serra's essence.

I rate the new art: 10/10

Choice

The next thing I'll cover is how good and well timed this pick for an upcoming Resplendent upgrade is.

And I got to say that having a healer get a Resplendent upgrade for the first time gives us hope for more to come soon or in a few months, it's also important for the variety, as it'd be nice to not to get a pattern repeating too often.

I think she came at a good time, out of the blue? Random? Yes, but welcome. Did I mention she never got an alt? And she's been around for years, since the early days of the game.

However, I think we could've had a healer from another game, The Blazing Blade last got one back in early August for Raven, three months of difference is still fine though, but I'm nitpicky when it comes to game choices.

I rate the choice: 9/10

Gameplay commentary

She's considered one of the worst healers in the game, and I can see why, specially due to all the powercreep there is nowadays; let's start with taking a look at her statline at 5★, Lv.40 and no permanent base stat boosts of any kind:

HP: 33

Att: 30

Spd: 31

Def: 21

Res: 33

BST: 148

And uhhh... certainly newer healers (even Emmeryn) will perform better than her, but who's to say you can't invest on your favorites? That's how I am, certainly, so don't feel to unencouraged to build her, the stat boosts will give her a little more competence among fellow healers who have similar statlines.

She has shaky offenses that will shine as you invest on her, and the Resplendent boost will solidify her overall while giving her a well earned aesthetic boost, I think something like what I run on Emmeryn would be nice on Serra too, but watch out for a potential refine if you haven't given her anything premium! So you can decide if her refine will be worth it and what works best with it, otherwise it's fine, I just hope no skill will feel like a waste to you later.

Reaction

This is where I'll dump how I feel and reacted to this Resplendent upgrade overall.

I first found myself rather perplexed, I'm no big fan of her for starters (in fact I think she's a tad too annoying), I've been reading her wiki article and quotes for a recap since I haven't played The Blazing Blade in months and don't remember reading about her past, and I can see why she often acts up the way she does, yet that's why I also don't care about her or feel excited at all, about the "good" news, making of this upgrade just another skip. (Come on I.S., when are you guys giving Adult Tiki her alt and Resplendent upgrade? 😔)

Still, I agree that she's earned the spot here — and if you're a fan of her and are reading this, I do hope this new Resplendent upgrade has been your liking and that she's doing well for you, hopefully I.S. will also finally give her an alt among others that also deserve it.

FEH - no calendar today

So, there's no calendar reveal this night, we'll be waiting for it next one. 😒 I.S. sure is the pro of inconsistency.

Whatever comes this 10th (in less than 4 hours), will be a surprise, since the last calendar we have shows nothing:

But there's a guaranteed announcement taking place in less than four hours which is the identity of the next Resplendent Hero upgrade (and Tailtiu's distribution, so excited to get her!).

Personally, I'm hoping for Adult Tiki, Olivia, Kagero or Lene, to name a few because if I start naming more this post wil probably get longer than it should, but anyone I like enough would be nice.

Isn’t it like two to six now? Young Tiki has way more rep, and Adult Tiki was more popular last year but still got another alt and a resplendent. It’s nuts. Please let this be a good year for adult Tiki.

Fall Vessel Grima is hilarious to me, and that alone was enough to save this banner for me.

That being said I’m so sick of Intelligent Systems pretending Adult!Tiki aka Awakening!Tiki just doesn’t exist... she has one alt that came out three years ago.... THREE years ago. While child Tiki has a Legendary, Summer, Fallen, and now Halloween/Harmonic hero alt. I was actually praying that we’d get a new Tiki alt or at least resplendent and while I was doubtful on both accounts I was utterly disappointed. IS keeps shoving child Tiki down our throats and it’s so annoying. I know these type of characters tend to be more popular in Japan, but the thing is is Adult!Tiki consistently has out voted Child!Tiki in every subsequent Choose Your Legends event ever since their votes were counted separate? Every single time Adult!Tiki has beat out Child!Tiki. IS doesn’t care though. Anyway rant over.

It’s nice to finally see some dragon tribe Laguz in Heroes and I’m very excited that we’ll be getting Ena in Heroes and for free at that!

Another new resplendent gets announced tomorrow.  Time for hopes.

Red I kinda hope we get something magically inclined.  We got three swords in a row, I kinda want them to switch it up a bit.  I’m kinda feeling Leo.  I don’t have any particular love of Leo, but Takumi got his, and I think Leo is in equal need of the stats and updated art.  I’m also pretty sure it’ll be a 5*.  If not, I guess...uh...honestly Adult Tiki.  I would love that.  I just finished her as a merge project not too long ago, so getting an extra +2 to all stats would be divine.

Blue I want Tana.  I don’t care, I just want Tana.  Part of this is because I just played Sacred Stones and am really feeling that game, and Tana’s one of my favorite from it.  But like.  I don’t think there’s anyone else I’d really want in the 5* pool.  Maybe Ninian, but I kinda feel like Ninian doesn’t really need that kind of boost.  I’d rather Ninian get a refine than anything else.  If it’s a common, F!Corrin or Mae.  Mae if we’re going purely for art improvement, F!Corrin if we’re going for combat potential.  I’ve pretty much given up on Clair.

Green I really want to be Camilla.  I know, that’s the demote, but it’s what I want.  For 5* locked units...I dunno.  There really aren’t any I care about.  Deirdre would be nice to get just to finish that entry in the log.  I guess Amelia would be nice so she can pretend she’s relevant still in the Edelgard meta.  Sonya so people who like her can be happy?  But I don’t have a whole lot of investment in any green units aside from Camilla.

Colorless I just want to be Faye.  Seriously, just...I’ll give you whatever you want, just let my ranged tank baby pretend she’s still meta relevant again, please.  She’s suffered enough.  I wouldn’t mind Genny either, though, if staff units are possible.  But Genny’s gonna get a refine in either a week or a month, so like...probably not her.  If it’s a common colorless, I would really, really like it to be Rebecca.  I know, Elibe fanboyism showing through, but honest to god I just want her art to not be that bad anymore.  It’s distressing.  Lachesis also really needs that art update, but same issue as with Genny, her refine is probably soon.  I guess I’d be good with Kagero too.  I haven’t really built her up, so I’d appreciate a free merge.

I think Camilla is likely.  In fact, they seem to be going with popularity and lords, so frankly I’m almost anticipating Celica.  She’s one of the few left who were around in Book 1.  Seliph could be there, and I’m sure not saying no to a free merge on that boy.  But I can’t shake the feeling like they might break the pattern again, and go for someone unexpected and lower ranked, so like...I’m personally hoping strongly for Tana.
