This weekend we learned Bucky and T’Challa have a permanent home with us!

With the blue cross they loan out their rescue ponies for a year or two with regular visits throughout to make sure the horses and the new homes are a perfect match. These horses and ponies have been through so much they want to make sure they’re in the right place for them.

And this weekend our welfare officer officially signed them over to us! They’re with us forever now and we couldn’t be happier ❤️

I spent last weekend away in the country staying with friends and was enchanted by the two ponies in the field overlooking our patio.  Eventually I plucked up courage to go and have a word with their owner, and she told me that they were both rescue ponies.  She showed me pictures of them when she first had them: they both had horrific injuries, but the mare, Dolly, was in an especially bad way…

Neighbors are now looking after the ponies and are in the process of them being signed over.
