When I complain about everything in the world being built for people shorter than me and how that causes me back pain and posture issues from everything being an extremely awkward height for my body, I am not exaggerating. My office has standing desks for everyone. At full height they are supposed to be tall enough to work standing up with straight posture. As you might guess, I have to bend over a little bit to use it at max height

the absolute lack of awareness and consideration some people have continues to astound me. (personal life rant under the cut)
i live in an apartment complex with a neighbor across the breezeway who regularly plays music so loud i can make out THE WORDS in my own living room
and a downstairs neighbor with a sound system up against the wall so when they watch a movie it vibrates our floors despite us repeatedly going down to ask them to do something about it, be it adjust the bass or move the sound system or just simply turn it down a little (and every time they’re snippy with us about it)
and people who like to gather at the pool right across from our building and play loud music until past midnight ON WEEKNIGHTS
i’m all for people having fun in their homes and enjoying life and music and parties and whatever. but also it takes just a minute to consider that there are other people existing around you and be considerate of them

Ever since our water heater broke(and the plumber fixed it), the water temperature in our master bath shower/ tub has been off. It randomly goes cold, doesn’t get as hot, etc. My husband and I both now shower in the spare bedroom bath now. However, the tub in our master is the only one in our house and I am a bath person. I’m taking my second bath since then and it is disappointing…. The water isn’t hot enough…
I even tried to bring a kettle of boiling water and it’s still not warm enough.

just found out that you cannot get a european health card if you 1) are under 26 years old (you need a tutor) and 2) you don't have a job (in this case my mum who is my tutor)

Spending the day helping my cousin un-fuck her renovated house and increasingly I think that if you can't afford actual commercial grade construction company services, you should probably just not renovate an entire house.

My dear! 🌺🐶🤠 for the ask game :3
🌺 - What’s your MBTI type?
It fluctuates depending on whether I've answered for work or for fun but generally: INTP in a work setting and INFJ in a more casual setting. But the "P" in INTP was something I matured to save my sanity-- I still need to have clearly outlined and documented expectations, but how I achieve it is now flexible.
🐶 - Do you have any pets?
I used to joke that there could only ever be one 'kat' tolerated under any roof I live under so... no.
🤠 - Are you more of a city person or a country person?
On the one hand, I zealously guard my personal space and am absolutely miserable if I cannot occasionally have complete silence. On the other hand, the countryside has much larger and meaner bugs and less diverse (though arguably fresher) food offerings. So in the end I'm going to say I'm more of a small city person.
