I saw some mooties doing it, so I decided to do mine as well!
Favorite OC: Andrine Vanfell (Pathfinder: Kingmaker)
What can I say?
Don't matter how much time passes, she is my baby, my cinnamon roll, my fav bimbo.
I have had funny moments playing her, and when I'm feeling down, I like to imagine what she would do in my place (answer: dancing and shaking the shit off)
Newest OC: Laura de Loiola (Resident Evil 4 Remake)
Since I'm hyperfixated in RE4 Remake, I was driven to create an OC to bang Luis' brains out to interact with the game's blorbos. Laura was inspired in another OC who didn't see the daylight unfortunately (she would be a WtA TTRPG character).
I'm still sharping her background and personality while writing The Windmill, but overall I noticed that she and Luis shares the same brain cell, and that's beautiful (although she has social anxiety, but they are a pair of weirdos).
Oldest OC: Renée Lunenoire (Original Series)
My best girl, I would never imagine that a character from my first sapphic oneshot would become one of my comfort characters ever.
Renée is a werewolf, and also (not less important) a tailor. She is short (162cm), and at first sight people could think 'oh what a cutie', but when she changes her shape to a fuckin 3-meters-height black wolf, everybody passes out /jk
She is a blorbo, a bisexual mess. Thinking about if I gave ADHD to her or not.
Meanest OC: Olívia Garmendia (Original Series)
Another woman that God forbids to do anything.
From the same universe of Renée, Olívia is a blood sorceress, and became a noble after an unfortunated 'accident' with her former sire. She has no patient with the court men, mainly because she knows everybody's sins there (while the Queen looks at the other side).
She doesn't measure her actions to keep children and young women safe. The Marquise of Iparredia isn't there to make friends. Few people know her gentleness and vulnerability (Hugo is one of them).
Softest OC: Ekaterina Grushankaya (Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous)
Oh yes, her.
Katya is one of my tallest babies, and I guess it's the one with the softest demeanor of all.
A druid from Irrisen, she has seen up close how a kingdom works under Baba Yaga's chicken legs. Firsthand ruthless, baby. And we are not counting her tribe's distrustful arround her origins; after all, why would someone leave a baby aasimar with them?
Her voice is soothing and she avoids violence, but when she really got angry or is conviced that peace is not an option, pick a god and start praying. Her animal totem isn't a boar for nothing.
Most Aloof/Standoffish OC: Cassandra Constantinescu (Vampire Hunter D)
Like we use to say in Brazil, I must confess that she is my 'left behind at the barbacue' character, but I enjoyed so much to write her background. Cassandra has PTSD since the day her former home was invaded by vampires and their thralls. Hence, she carries dark emotions, and most of the time she feels like she doesn't belong anywhere. It's hard for her to trust in strangers, and even her few close friends almost have no clues about what's going on her head.
Dumbest (Affectionate) OC: Damian Vieri (Original Series)
Oh, my boy, my pal, my little soldier.
He changed SO MUCH.
He is from the same universe of Renée and Olívia, and is an anarchist Hunter of Myths (a kind of monster hunter). He left his home after aa fight with his father, because the old man didn't accept he has a son, not a daughter. Then my short king started a new life, and for some reasons he will meet Renée and they will adopted dozens of cats.
Smartest OC: Melina Trevelyan (Dragon Age Universe)
Do you know when you create a character whose intelligence is over yours but you can't stand in their mind enough because you are a dork? Yes, that's my relationship with Melina lol
I must confess that it's still a bit bitter talking about her after all the shit that happened at the TTRPG where she was one of the characters, but anyway. I can't forsake her, maybe one day I could reboot her story (and keep Lucius on her life, because he is her silver lining)
OC you'd be best friends irl: Hugo Otobeltza (Original Series)
My goodest boy. Don't matter if he killed someone and/or broke somebody's bones, he did what he could to survive! Hugo always has a daddy joke on his sleeve, and is always ready to help his beloved ones. If he existed in real life, probably he would be an Uber driver lol

Here we go.
“Shoot,” I reply.
“I swear it's just for academic purposes.”
“If it is bullshit, I will hit that shithead with this bottle, mark my words.” I hear Sara gumble from the sofa behind me.
Antonio giggle, “When a human falls in love with a werewolf or, well, they just bang… Is the human a furry?”
My answer is a side step, watching Sara's bottle flying away and hitting him. A true headshot. Luck on him, it's made of plastic.
“For fuck's sake, c'mon!” he cries angrily.
Everybody in the room bursts into laughing. I frown my browns and grumble, “to be honest, this is racist, for furries and wolves”.

Bio: Renée is the second child of Blanche and Rhodes Lunenoire. She was born in Renaissance's Wastes, also known as The Crater, a place where the Dust War happened and left nothing but a radioactive desert.
Her health was fragile when she was an infant, then her parents shared the role to take care of Renée while working on Lupine Resistance. She didn't have many friends besides Francis, her older brother, and Athos, her cousin.
One day, the Renaissance government found out about the wolves from the Crater and a hunt began. The Lunenoire Clan had to leave and unfortunately Renée was very sick. Her family had to go without her, leaving the girl under the care of Zelina, an old friend of theirs. But the wolves promised to come back — something that never occured.
Renée grew up and involved herself with the Crimson Queen, an influential local gangster. The teenager worked as her spy for years and lived recklessly, trying to hide the fear of probably having been discarded and left behind by her missing family.
When she met Hugo, Renée was dealing with a break up and almost died if he wasn't there. The man took her to a rehab and finally the girl admitted that she needed help.
At 19, she was clean and her First Moon came, turning her into a complete werewolf. Renée began a new chapter in her life: became a tailor and helped Zelina to take care of her little stepsisters, Letícia and Maria.
Everything was in the right place, until a huntress tracked her down years later…
Personality: Renée and Hugo have an internal joke; for them, the time is divided between “Before the Near-Death” and “After the Near-Death”. For her, it explains why she was two entirely different people. BND, Renée sees herself as someone reckless, callous, mean. The thrill of the rush was something that she always looked for. But after she almost died, she became more serene and reasonable, although still a little bit rebellious — like her biological family once was. She still fears the possibility of they had left her behind, but doesn't look for some culprit anymore.
Being a werewolf is tiring. She doesn't imagine being someone else, but everytime the moon is almost full, the thoughts become noisy and feral-like. That's why Renée focus on her job as a tailor, creating beautiful pieces and dreaming of a day when her second family could be happier and safer.
She avoids violence, however this is the Crater and if something — or someone — tries to harm her beloved ones, she will tear them apart in a blink of an eye.

WIP Wednesday
Well, well, look at who is back: me.
Yep, I'm working a lot lately, but trying to relax and don't get a burnout in the meantime. Guess I'm making it well.
For now I have some snippets of a future project that Renée and Damian will be the main characters. I have no idea when the first book will come out because my friend and co-author is working as hard as me.

We lived in an abandoned train. It was not as bad as it seems. We were underground, without judging eyes over our little anarchist organization.

“How’s the prettiest kitten in the world?”
Margherita purred and headbutted the back of my hand. I laid on the mattress and it didn’t take long for her to jump and knead on my chest.

“Don't get too attached to her.”
“Why? Are you jealous?” I hummed.
Vik remained serious. "I'm afraid that you will get hurt, dumbass.”
…
“Holy shit…” Toni’s chin fell. I felt my stomach twisting. We were before a skinned crucified werewolf.
Vik approached and analyzed the scene. “Um, he died recently. And by the tension on muscles… He was skinned alive.”
Renée lowered her head. “Those bastards…”
Her hands were clenched. Before I could say anything, we heard many feet running towards us.
…
I thought that it was the end. I would be shot in the head and die. But then I opened my eyes and saw a huge creature protecting me with her body. Her fur was dark and thick, and her eyes were bloody rubies. And despite all savagery and deep growling, I could see her in the depths of those eyes; it was Renée.

Bio: only son of Maitane Otobeltza, Hugo grew up in the Barony of Lainozko, ruled by the Hartzenea Family. It was unexpected he would turn out as a werewolf; the wolf blood in his lineage was supposedly very thinned but there he was.
His mother was the barony's castellan and he was cared for by Baron Hartzenea, who provided him with tutors and medical treatment to deal with his “condition”. Hugo always lost his mind at full moons and used to be found unconscious in the woods. In exchange, the boy worked for the Hartzenea as a driver, messenger and… a jack for all trades, if you know what I mean.
Maitane was diagnosed with cancer when Hugo was 25, and they fought together, but unfortunately the woman passed away a few years later. When the mourned son was organizing her belongings, Hugo discovered more about his wolf lineage; there was an Alesian werewolf who fell in love with one of his great-grandmothers and he was a Lunenoire.
Hugo thought about asking the Hartzenea for help, however something happened in the castle and he had to flee. Since then he started searching on his own and the clues led the man across the sea, guiding him to meet Renée, the Lunenoire who was left behind…
Personality: even though he had been through a lot, Hugo stayed light-hearted. He learned to face adversity with a smile, and “if life turns its back to you, you should grab its butt”.
Despite his height and muscles, Hugo usually is friendly and talkative, and even has a cheeky comment for anything. His lupine form is weaker than Renée's because he is a “tainted-blooded”, something he is very aware about, but it doesn't mean he can't break bones or spill some guts. Even more to protect his little stepsisters whom he loves dearly.
Hugo watches Renée's back and she does the same for him, especially when the full moon is out. As she can hold her inner beast for a while, every month he transforms first.
He calls Secrata “Sunshine” nowadays, but it wasn't ever like that, after all she attempted to kill Renée once…
*Maitane used to call him “Otxo Txikia”

The World is a vampire...
For millennia, vampires ruled the whole world. Humans and werewolves alike were chased, enslaved and used as test subjects. The blood suckers were searching for something unknown to the other races until, one day, after the Humanity was almost extinct, they stepped back and apologized for their behavior. That's when the Truce started and vampires and humans began walking side by side.
Werewolves remained outcasts, however. Living in the Wastes, cities' slums or as watchdogs for the nobility, there are not many options for those who were born with the Lykan genes. Some of them are used to living in clans, trying to reconnect with their roots and planning to set the vampire world ablaze. Among them, there is a black wolf named Renée Lunenoire, and she is noticing a crescent buzz in the capital of Renaissance regarding the International Laboratory Organization…
She doesn't yet know that a famous Huntress of Myths, the dhampir Salenccia Secrata, is after her. And Secrata cannot imagine how much Renée will be important to her. If Destiny exists, it has a wicked sense of humor.

I saw this one on @dragonologist-phd ’s blog and decided to do too! It’s like an imagination exercise and I am always ready to talk about my babies.

Andrine Vanfell (Pathfinder Kingmaker)
If you were expecting something different... Well, think twice!
To be honest, Andrine's personality was most inspired by Dandelion from the games than his version on Netflix series. She is (much) less womanizer than any version of that chit-chatter bard, but both are dramatic and have the urge to bother some ice-cube-who-walks (I'm sorry, Valerie, it will happen again). But also she is a good friend.
Cassandra Constantinescu (Vampire Hunter D)
She doesn't have the name of the famous Trojan prophetess for nothing. Cassandra grew up surrounded by books, arcane arts, and her mother's love. But all her knowledge and talents were not enough to save her beloved ones, even her gift to see the future. Since then, she became her own unbeliever and flees from her past's ghosts all the time.
Ekaterina Grushankaya (Pathfinder WOTR)
Misunderstood. Stigmatized by close people. Powerful but still green. Ekaterina has the same capacities as Morgana Le Fay, but yet with the young Arthurian sorceress mind, when Morgana was a girl under Viviane's wing.
I'm waiting to play as her and discover how her story will go on >:3
Melina Trevelyan (Dragon Age Origins & Inquisition)
The eyes don't lie. Literally.
I created Melina inspired by Yennefer and the process took unexpected proportions lol
They both call attention wherever they go. They both had to sacrifice things to move on and become more powerful and stronger. They had their recklessy moments, and some people judge them as cold-hearted. But who loves any of them knows well what's hidden beneath the mask.
Olívia Garmendia (Original Novel)
Olívia had to leave her old life behind against her will. After decades studying and finding her way to the top, she had to learn how to defense herself from the voracious court of Euskatza. And the best option was be worse than them--while ~someone~ eventually reminded her who she was before the lost and the bloodlust, leading the sorceress to 'true love'.
Renée Lunenoire (Original Novel)
The lost child. The girl who was left behind, but survived and now it's looking for answers. Renée and Anya have some common points, beyond their temperament and daydreaming demeanor. They can be snarky and with no manners, but have a golden heart and don't think twice to protect their beloved ones.
