Just heard that Rockstar have canceled the remaster of Red Dead Redemption 1. Gutted. I knew it was too good to be true, but part of me was really excited about it. New graphics? An option to buy horses from stables? I know it sounds like what I wanted in RDR1 is already in RDR2, and I've not forgotten that.

I loved the first Red Dead Redemption - it was my first video game, and what really got me into games in the first place.

I suppose whining on the internet isn't going to change Rockstar's mind - not with them still in the process of GTA 6. In the future, perhaps we will see a remaster of the first RDR... maybe even RDR3, but I doubt that's likely to happen. People seem to thin Rockstar only care about the GTA side of things these days, and maybe disband the Red Dead series and sadly, I'm inclined to agree with them :/

I hate that red dead redemption makes me so emotional. The little bluejay that hangs around while John, Charles, and Uncle are building the house brings so much joy into my life. 🥹 I also finished the main game at low honors, and when I went to see Arthur, there was a coyote sitting by his grave. 🥲
