Chalk-Fronted Corporal (I believe - correct me if I’m wrong) I love nature photography! Every time I go out I have the chance to find something new. On this trip I spend won time shooting dragon flys and got a decent shot of this one. Not knowing what it is I googled “Ontario Dragon Flys” and ow boy I did not know how many type of these flying insects there are. The web site I found “ON Nature Magazine”(@ontarionature) lists 51 types of Dragonflies and Damselflies. Its a leaf! But not just any leaf, its a macro focus stack of a leaf I spent some time on the weekend shooting focus stacks of leafs and out of the dozen or so sets I’ve taken this is the only one that turned out. The “failures” all have missing areas. Image has a sharp area than a blurred area then a sharp strip then blur then sharp and so on and so on.
