Not to sound like a gatekeeping asshole or anything but the amount of people on Twitter being all like “omg wnba players are paid so little why is that” just now is like… yeah that’s kinda how it is?? Obviously I wish the players would be paid more and they can def do better in terms of coverage but like the league’s only been around for 30 years and stuff out of their control has been restricting its growth (bad media deals lol) so probably not the best idea to compare it to like the NBA bc that’s been around way longer

Man. May I just say. I love how in this game it’s like “you have four suitors and three of them are the most repulsive men on the planet then you have this really energetic guy who wants you to step on him if he does anything bad BUT he’s trying his best”.

it's become almost kind of a meme at this point to say it but. I gotta say please play CrossCode!! it plays SO fucking well while also having mostly simple controls that feel SO good to master (it's a little overwhelming at first because it's a very fast paced combat system, but it's SO good and flows so well once you get into it), the protagonist is one of my favorite characters in anything ever (and I honestly couldn't fully tell you why) (I'm also very very attached to a lot of the other characters!! a lot of them are pretty wonderful :) Emilie and Hlin my beloveds), it has wonderful pixel art, a bunch of very cool concepts that I hope get explored more in a future game, some really good humor (though the DLC does get a bit too "haha reference" in its writing at times; the main game mostly keeps the reference humor in the sidequests and item descriptions, which works a lot better), it (IMO) NAILS the feeling of being in an MMO (the first proper area's music and vibe in general made me emotional cause it reminded me so much of first playing MMOs as a kid!!), it has a lot of kickass music... it's just so very good and such a fantastic experience and I wish more people would give it a shot!! I got it right after the DLC came out (which fleshes out the end of the story and gives it a more complete ending with post-game things to do) and I loved pretty much every second of it, really can't recommend it enough

also it has a really cute gay couple in it. not saying who but it might be fairly obvious as you go through it? it gets confirmed in the DLC part of the story in a really cute way

oh yeah shit one more addition after posting this. the game has a demo you can download on steam so you can try it out and see if you like how it plays!! it's like an old build of the game so the main thing is more polished but it's still a good way to check if you enjoy the basic controls. it's good

I still can't get over how much of a dirty scam the pricing is for Pokemon Masters. Like..

14,000 gems for 80 dollars? excuse me? who the crap is wasting their money like that on a game that barely has any real function as a game?

it's NOT worth it. AT ALL. you're not even fully guaranteed to get whatever character(s) you're aiming for with it.

if you want to do those 2 1-limit paid-only gems sync scouts they have rn you've have to pay $80 for the 10,000 you'll need since they're 5000 gems each. sure it sounds like a lot you're getting, but man. I don't think it's worth it.

I refuse to give this game my money. idk how people fall into this gacha scam. please save your money for something that's actually more useful and important.

okay my ultrakill hyperfixation appears to slowly be moving back to more manageable levels. I mean I still really like the game and am still quite obsessed with it rn etc, but it is nice that I’m starting to remember what other stuff I also like lol

playing inquisition first really is the move because you can finish the whole entire thing and won’t even realize how much of an absolute fucking slog it is until you start the other two

sadly no :(( always wanted one (i used to be obsessed w dogs earlier but covid,,,did something,,,and now i’m just tolerant of any and all creatures but not especially passionate about one) but my dad has a Thing about ‘caging’ animals in the house and never really liked it. my grandma did have a german shepherd when i was young and i grew up alongside her and have the fondest memories w her tho!!! she was the absolute best <33

16. Do you have any tattoos? If not, would like to?

this is another sad no 😔😔 for all my piercings, tattoos are still a bit of a no-go in ~desi households and i’ve been trying to convince my mom for *so long* my god. i want to get a whole sleeve on at least one hand, including an arm band on my forearm (so hot?? for no reason??) and just. idk. fill my body up with a lot of doodles and shapes hehe

absolutely obsessed w it. i go through phases where i’m either in reading slumps or going thru 30+ books a month easy. for the past couple years, i’ve only been able to stomach super chill romcoms because escapism is the name of the game 😎 don’t really have fav books,,,,but a few of the ones i loved recently are:

- Talia Hobbert’s Brown Sisters series (esp the second one!!)

- Joely Sue Burkhart’s Their Vampire Queen Series (basically just sex and blood and vampires; it’s a polyam series of like. 7? books and i love each and every one of them <3)

This is really weird but like hello hi I like games that let you make a protag design then let you design someone else to be like. Your follower/ally. And you can make em different heights. I feel the need EVERY TIME to make a tiny protag and a tall secondary character.

I also am so weak for the secondary being non-human, too. Please let me love my weird companions.

fuckkk i went on a rabbit hole on the undertale wiki and now i am very confused and very sad

I’m actually doing better with inkbrush than I thought I would. Like I guessed it would be fun and rewarding to my playstyle tendencies but I just assumed I wouldn’t be able to get any good with such a button-mashy weapon. And yeah, I still struggle with that aspect of it in a lot of situations but...I can still do an awful lot.

Like this is the first kit that’s actually getting me to not just use but really rely on my sub weapon (and often, too), and the fact that they’re splat bombs is great because I really need to get a better handle on the physics and aiming of splat bombs for salmon run purposes (I’m... bad about forgetting to use them in salmon run outside of maws and flyfish, lol).

And just being able to zoom the heck around and be annoying is very satisfying. There’s been a few times where I’ve rushed through center towards the other side and the fact that the opposing team is compelled to pursue me gives the more competent members of my team an opportunity to establish better control of center while I’m... basically acting as bait for as long as possible, lol.

I feel like I’m getting better with the physical aspect of button mashing too. Maybe it’s something I can eventually get reliable with. I plan on sticking with it til I get the badge at least, so I’ve got time to figure it out.

I need to hurry up and be interested in playing something

Finished umineko a few days ago and all I've done since then other than a bit of the new ffxiv content is grind on a mobile game just so I wouldn't be sitting here doing absolutely nothing -_-
