Kendall is the most compelling to me because of all the siblings he has the most outside love and support and yet he still cannot help but kill himself slowly. Stewy and Rava are always opening up their doors for Kendall even when he fucks up and damages their homes and ruins their business deals because they like Kendall for Kendall and not for the Roy name or the money he possesses. And they’re willing to shoot down his poor ideas and give it to him straight and help him back up when he falls and they know him so well. 

Kendall can’t bring up his damage with his father he has to bring up Roman’s and Connor’s--but also it’s implied through the show that the siblings are often unaware of the suffering Kendall is under, and when they are they use it to twist the knife, so why would he share his own? Kendall’s pain is often a mockery, Shiv writes that letter about his struggles as an addict to disparage his name, Roman takes pleasure in dismantling Vaulter because it’s Kendall’s baby, Connor resents Kendall for being forced into the eldest son’s role. So it’s easier now for him to twist the narrative--his business is everyone else’s, why not air their dirty laundry too? Connor says he prefers to share (his siblings dirty secrets) but doesn’t enjoy when Kendall returns the favor.

But Stewy and Rava love Kendall and they see him the way Kendall needs to be seen and they accept him and they have sacrificed their lives and livelihoods for him. They see the influence of Logan on Kendall’s life and they actively choose to try and pull him out time and time again. Kendall does the selfish thing others do to him--uses his brother’s trauma as instruments of pain against his father. But he can’t see what the outsiders in his life compelled to him see, that the selfless thing he can do for himself, finally, is to let his father go. To share his own trauma. To let it out. To finally put himself first, rather than how others see him.
