Idea...?
Hi everyone!!!!! I keep thinking about the VN I'm wanting to make, but I also thought of a few more things and realized, uh... Maybe it might not be for me?
Music production, programming + scripting, and, well...
One of my absolute favorite parts about making things is seeing everyone's reactions. ( ╥ω╥ ) I really enjoy interacting with everyone on my blog!!! It's the only reason why I haven't experienced a lot of burnout!
So, instead of a VN, I was thinking of something more... Interactive?
I don't have any side blogs, but I remembered some things a friend of mine talked about, and it sounded really interesting. ☆⌒(> _ <)
Basically, I would start out with a prompt of sorts- I'd make pictures and short stories/writings as I go, and it'll all be tied together into a long-form story of sorts? Then, after each entry, I could put up a poll that lets people decide what they want the main character to do next. It'd all be on a side blog.
Does that make sense-? .･ﾟﾟ･(／ω＼)･ﾟﾟ･.
Anyways!
Does that sound interesting at all??? For each major event that happens in the story, I could make art for it. I wouldn't want to make it a huge thing, because, well... As I think I've proven already, I'm bad at sticking to long-term projects... _:(´ཀ`」 ∠):_ Especially if I don't get a lot of feedback......
For the plot, I'll take what I've already made for the visual novel so far and will apply it to this story instead!
Sorry to anyone who was really excited about a visual novel... I'm also just really worried about doing all of it alone and attracting too much attention (｡╯︵╰｡)

...Imagine Luka getting a bed similar to THIS, and then Luka making Kairos sleep in the cage on the bottom:

I've always been really bad at finishing long-term projects, but... Maaaybe if I was forced to work on it, being held accountable for progress or whatnot... Maybe I could finish a small VN??? It's always been a dream of mine to finish a bigger project! ^^;;;;;;
I would post progress pictures/updates every week! I've already written an intro of sorts- and I have a general idea of what I would do with it, but I'm not sure. I've messed around in renpy before, too... So I'm just.

Progressss...?
Helloooo!! :3c Just wanna make a small post about progress for the VN I'm working on! I've been messing around with ideas for the plot and stuff, but also focusing on the characters.
Other than Kairos and Luka, there will be other two main characters! (´ ∀ ` *)
Here's their silhouettes for right now! I'm still working on rendering and fixing up their details. I'm also planning on changing the girl's pose eventually, but I'll save that for later. ☆ｏ(＞＜；)○
I... Also don't have a name for the guy on the left yet. But they're gonna be Luka's childhood friend! One of my friends has (lovingly) dubbed him as "Mr. Ram", so that'll be his makeshift nickname for now, LOL.
As for the girl- her name is "M"! What's her real name? She keeps it as a mystery of sorts... She likes to make herself more fun and intriguing. (≧◡≦) ♡ In the VN, she's gonna be the MC's coworker/friend!

Progress Update!
Hello! ( ´ ▿ ` )
Just wanted to say that I've been making some progress in Ren'Py and stuff for the VN, and I think I've come up with a name that I like:
Parasitic Roses
That'll be the name of the game for now! I also just wanted to make this post saying I'll probably slow down on answering asks in order to make more progress on the game.
I'm still figuring out how I want to stylize the backgrounds and such... Plus, I'm working on Kairos and Luka's portrait sprite things right now. ٩(◕‿◕)۶
I'll post them when they're done. ღ
