Alright @wolves-in-the-world I haven't completely finished detail work, but I've had it up to this point for months now, and I don't know when I'll get around to finalizing it. So, without further ado, may I present:
M is for Murdering Moreau
[Image ID: A cross stitch fancy cursive alphabet sampler on a black background. Capital letters are in pale green and lowercase letters are in a rosy pink. The pattern is interrupted at M to say "M is for Murdering Moreau" in bright red blocky letters. There is a small gradient yellow to brown border. End ID]
Inspired by this post. Full pattern and project info here

A sneak peak at the thing I told @wolves-in-the-world I was making, inspired by this post. I'm using the 1930 pattern book I got from my mormor, because I think maximum contrast between flowing, fancy script and screaming block letters sitting in a pool of blood is going to be just delightful lol

Picture of a hand-drawn cross stitch alphabet sampler, but when it gets to M, it switches from cursive to thick, upright letters that say "M is for Murdering Moreau." The pattern is incomplete, but another photo shows a sketch of the eventual layout, with six letters per line, with M and N on either side of the "Murdering Moreau" block. There are weapons in the empty spaces and a pool of blood around the words.
Picture of the cover of an old Danish pattern book. The cover says “Danske Mønstre, Til Syning Og Vævning, Samlet af Ernestine Nyrop Udgivet med Understøttelse af Ny Carlsbergfondet, Andet Hæfte, Det Schonbergske Forlag, 1930″ ("Danish Patterns, sewing and weaving, collected by Ernestine Nyrop, published with support by the Carlsberg foundation, second booklet, Det Schonbergske Forlag [publishing company] , 1930")
