hello uhm excuse me how did the fandom not point this interaction out. The counsellors were drinking beers at the party, so that implies that at least Ryan and Dylan had drunk vodka together before. what happened during that ? i have been holding onto that though since i’ve first seen that moment. And I am back. I will try to get some time to write more in the nearest future. And I will think about how to get things more easier here, as I will write not only about the Lost Boys, but couple of other fandoms too. Maybe other blog, but I am still thinking

As to this request, I am not so sure if you tried to request Ryan/Dylan, as they are more 'canon', but here we ship everyone, so feel free to ask more if you want to c:

Relationship headcanons

Jacob x Dylan

It wasn't very unexpected, but still felt a bit... Weird.

Dylan was outgoing from the start, making friends with everyone in their group. He even managed to talk with silent Ryan. He was not loud, but still very present and friendly.

Jacob was outgoing too. But his jokes were more lewd or stupid and noone laughed with him. Maybe Emma smiled a bit.

But Dylan... Oh, he giggled at every small joke there was. Confidence boost? A giant one! Even if Jacob seemed like stupid guy with no filter or fear and anxiety, he had some self-esteem issues. Dylan cured them with ease.

Even in work Dylan could come up with the best idea, still joking around and being productive at the same time. Honestly, Jacob envied him sometimes. He could never be serious and sarcastic at the same time. And even if Dylan had to explain his jokes sometimes to him - it wasn't that bad, his tone never became a condescending one.

The problem was - Jacob couldn't understand what was missing from the picture. They quickly became buddies and even somewhat friends. But... Something was missing. He could feel it. They laughed, they hung out together, even partied. They could even discuss something more serious that was troubling one or the other. But...

Dylan was more than funny buddy. More than a reliable co-worker. More than clever and cool friend. He was cute, he was smart and he was... No, it couldn't be it.

But it was exactly that, no matter how hard Jacob tried to escape those thoughts. A huge crush. And when all of your life you were thinking you were straight and the other minute you questioned your preferences... Of course it was strange to him and made him think about a lot of things.

Dylan, on the other hand, noticed his own 'attractions' in the past, so he wasn't surprised if once or twice he held his gaze on Jake longer than it needed. The guy was ripped, strong and hot and they were in a summer camp. Of course he was... Intrigued to say the least.

The talk was spontaneous, awkward and a bit drunk. They tried to clean the space after their party, as Kaitlyn said she was done cleaning after them. The talk about nonsense and stupid jokes slowly became more serious and in the end... There was a passionate kiss.

Yeah, cliché, but on the next day other councillors couldn't understand why they were avoiding each other.

There was another talk, after their first kiss, after their confession. It took them some time to work up the courage, several days even. But they worked it out. They decided to keep things low key and take it slowly. They both weren't sure and didn't know how to proceed in a situation like that.

Jacob was awkward. His jokes often was followed by nervous giggle. He tried to present himself as this cool, nonchalant, hot dude, but sometimes he appeared to be a little oblivious to things and a bit... Himbo. When Dylan called him like that for the first time, Jacob was confused and a bit offended. Only a bit though.

Dylan knew his way around words, but he still sometimes mumbled and didn't know how to express all of his feelings. He tried to be funny and entertaining for Jacob. He was cool and Dylan didn't want to show his more nerdy side. But Jacob was very accepting of it, not even offended when Dylan was showing off his knowledge, more excited.

And yes, while they think that they were being secretive - they really don't. Everybody knows the truth. Nick and Amy are encouraged to show their affections to each other now. Ryan just watches from afar. And Kaytlin and Emma are shipping them and try to catch them in the moment.

Which, by the way, they are very slow to approach. They are very cautious, as this is their first time being with a guy. And for the first time they are content with just kissing sometimes and hang out together.

Dates in the radio cabin, and mutual playlists are a must.

When it comes to the "main events", Jacob is still behind the reason they get stuck there. Only this time he wants to get down to business with Dylan, afraid that after the camp they will part their ways.

After Truth or dare game, where Dylan kiss Ryan, Jacob could get jealous the same way and leave all of them to swim with Emma. But the minute everything goes to shit, he is searching for Dylan and worries for his safety.

The outcome of the night depends on how things go.

If both of them survive and don't get turned, they just cling to each other, even when the police arrives. Jacob is horrified by Dylan's injured arm and could even protect him from the aggressive cops.

If Dylan turns, his inner wolf would seek Jacob to express all of his feelings (mostly negative ones), and Jacob could either fall victim to him or get him to go away or at least not to attack him (depends on what he says and how he acts).

If Jacob turns, his wolf would seek Dylan to protect him from the others. He probably would try to drag him away from the councilors, counting them as danger too. If Dylan is smart about it and doesn't act out, he would make it out just fine.

If both of them turns, they would reunite and just run through the night together.

If one of them die, the other one would be devastated. Whether by the hand of one of them or because of others - doesn't matter.

If the curse isn't lifted and one of them stay turned, they would stick to each other. Even if Jacob is horrified and Dylan doesn't know what to do, they are still by each other side, contemplating their further actions.

And even if the main events never happen and they leave the camp in time, they still keep communication and occasionally meet with each other promising to find the same college to go to. Or at least two colleges that are close by to not be apart for long.
