Is there any possibility of an uncensored no 'bromance' version of Qiang jin jiu made into series 😭 I want MA as leads I don't know if the characters suits them. But I want MA level of chemistry in it.

Honestly at this point, I'm not even sure if the danmei drama series that have finished shooting and editing are even going to be released. I was just laughing (crying inside) about the situation with Immortality/2Ha. Apparently some new clips/stills leaked so new rumor is November 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'd say the closest proxy to MileApo's situation right now would be TGCF donghua and BiliBili's partnership with an external (Japanese) animation studio. The season 2 trailer just dropped about 5 days ago after many fans thought it was dead in the water.

I'm not sure if Uni Icon would pursue such a strategy... but there would definitely be international demand for streaming. I think at this point, studios may have been trying to cut their loses and not license any more danmei series until there's a more clear path to airing the ones they're already sitting on.
